Positive experience: My family and I have not had a great cleaning experience. My last visit, I felt as though my hygienist barely touched my mouth. No real scraping, didn’t even floss. At my son’s recent visit he said he felt the same. Except in his case, the hygienist was very rough and seemed super rushed. Overall does not seem to be a thorough cleaning in comparison to other offices we’ve been to.

Positive experience: I’ve been going here for over 4 years now. Wonderful staff, thorough cleanings. Helped me get my gums & teeth into a healthy state and helped me to build healthier oral health habits. Update: the last few times I have been, it is obvious to me that they either overbook or struggle to keep up with their schedule. I always end up waiting too long in the waiting room and even longer in the chair. This most recent visit, I am currently sitting in the chair and it has almost been 2 hours since the start of my appointment time.

Fantastic experience: Always excellent care at La Habra Modern Dentistry. Samantha, my assistant was very courteous, professional, patient & caring. Dr. Rahimi obviously sets the standard & example. Been coming back here for years. You don't need to guess why. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I came to La Habra Modern Dentistry, and I had the worst experience. I would not recommend this office to anybody. Dr. Rahimi was very rude to me very unprofessional she was 25 minutes late and very aggressive. She yelled at me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable she even made me cry. After speaking to my insurance, I was overcharged by over $5,000. The dentures they gave me DO NOT FIT. They are literally falling out of my mouth. They refuse to make a new denture I regret ever coming into this place. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with this dental office for 2-3 years now. They did very well to accommodate my cleaning, same day porcelain restoration, and I was in a time crunch. Lily did my cleaning and was very personable and kind. Yolanda was attentive to my concerns and Dr. Raheemi was also attentive and went over what I needed done. Office is modern w their digital X-rays and laser technology. They utilize MyChart & are accommodating to my schedule. Open as early as 7am!!!! Thanks team!

Negative experience: I’ve been here 6 times in the last 6 months. Had to get a crown that I needed to come back and have readjusted 2 times then was finally told I needed a root canal on that same tooth. Had the root canal on 12/31 I was told I was good to go and just to take the antibiotics. Well I had to come back on 1/23 due to pain in that same tooth just for another dentist in the same office to tell me they never filled the crown correctly with the permanent filling. Well here I am today still having pain the same tooth I’ve already had to pay over $1,400 on. 6 visits and I still have pain on the dam tooth. What was the point of me getting a root canal for the work to not be done correctly. How many visit will I have to have before this is finally resolved by far the worst dentist experience I’ve had and how is it possible to continue to have pain on a tooth that has had a root canal?

Fantastic experience: Today I went to my dentist Dr. Noor Rahimi at La Habra Modern Dentistry. I was to have an annual check up, but due to one of my crown’s came loose and fell out the day before, I knew Dr. was going to need to perform more than a check up. Dr. Rahimi assessed I was in need of a new crown. The crown was produced ,set on my tooth, all with seamless perfection and completed within my one visit. I have always been highly satisfied w/the quality of work I have received from Dr. Rahimi and her staff through the years. The entire team treats the patient as if you are one of the family. Thank you to all!!

Fantastic experience: Today I had a wonderful experience at La Habra modern dentistry. Everyone was so friendly. They gave me very good extra care and attention. My last dentist would take five minutes to do a teeth cleaning and this place took their time. They seem like they have the best technology. The management and the staff are the best.

Positive experience: Not sure what has happened in the last couple of years but the service has been getting slower. I usually get a plain teeth cleaning. Nothing special. This is the second time I've been in the office for more than an hour with minimal updates on what takes so long. They did my xrays and did get checked out by the dentist. After that I just play the waiting game until I get tooth cleaning. The staff is nice though but even still not sure if they need more dental assistance or what is going on. I wrote this while waiting for my cleaning...

Negative experience: The dentist said he was tired, looked at my teeth, recommended descaling, so I waited 45 mins for nothing. This is the same dentist who put on a crown that fell off two or three times until the other dentist fixed it, and they had put on a cheap crown at first but then realized they needed a better one. Not going back.

Positive experience: Every time I go to the dentist it’s always costing me money I don’t have and it sucks they want you to use care credit and they took away in house payments

Negative experience: Never again. Went it for the 1st time to get some fillings that fell out fixed. My appt was on a Saturday at 8am and I didnt leave until 3pm (the office closed at 2pm). Was told I could eat right away but waiting until 6 pm just in case. I only had 2 bits of my costco hot dog when the implant they put on my tooth feel out. Now I had to miss work the following day to get the tooth fixed again. Spent another 4hrs there. I signed up for their payment plan to pay off the work that was done. Was a 4 month payment plan. We'll I was able to pay it off sooner and called to pay it and confirmed if the automatic payment would stop since it was now payed off. The women I spoke to said yes it is done, and I wouldn't get charged anymore since I payed of the amount due. 2 weeks later, I check my credit card and see that the auto pay still went through yesterday and I was charge almost $300 when my account is already paid off. I am extremely irritated with this office and would not recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Brought my 2 and 4 year old kids in for the first time. The front office staff is very welcoming and professional. Bryan and Adriana were very friendly and made my boys feel comfortable!! Dr. Edwards was very thorough with the exam. Overall great office to bring your kids to!

Negative experience: UPDATE 2025: After a DOZEN years, this is STILL showing up on my credit report, even though the place has been SHUT DOWN. -- Ok, so here's the thing about this place. I, too, have gone in with horrible tooth pain and tried to get treatment -- they had me sign up for a "My Smile" credit card. This is run by @ComenityCapitalBank - yet when I got my EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from Delta Dental, the numbers were far apart - I got a bill for around $5,000 on this credit card, but I was told by my insurance company that I only owed something like $142 for the visit. I called the insurance company, and they said that it appears #LaHabraModernDentistry is "double billing" -- using different codes for the same procedure, in order to bill not only my insurance company, but also my so-called "credit card"... After consultation with a lawyer, I was told not to pay the alleged amount due, because if you pay for a bill, it shows you acknowledge responsibility. So, of course, the card company calls 22 times a day (despite my near 800 credit rating, it has, of course dropped and I'm being treated like a criminal.. ha ha). I have recorded these calls (with their knowledge, of course, otherwise it would be illegal) and am in the process of reporting this company, not to mention the finance company - to the California State AG, the CFPB and have also considered possibly starting a class-action lawsuit against these illegal practices. There was one good "visiting" doctor who helped me, and the front office staff, overall, is quite nice. Once they stop their fraudulent practices, I'm sure everything will be okay. Unless, of course, they're shut down in the meantime..

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous and anxious about coming back to the dentist, Dr. Angelus and Erika were phenomenal!!! They reassured me that all would be well and had much patience with me. Highly recommended !

Negative experience: This place tells you that your insurance doesn't cover much and give you all these high prices my insurance was charged almost 900.00 just for xrays.never going back

Positive experience: Professional service and staff were friendly. Hesitant to return only because I told them about some tooth sensitivity and although there was no sign of decay or anything in my x-rays, I was immediately recommended a root canal which felt rushed and they were just trying to get me to pay for something I didn’t need.

Negative experience: I was on time for my appointment and taken back right away but then had sit in the dentist chair and wait 30+ minutes for the dentist to come and do a five minute examination of my teeth. my time is also valuable and I really resent you wasting my time in this way when I was on time for my appointment

Fantastic experience: Dr.Eskander and Lori are angels and such amazing women. I came in for an emergency visit, for my 18 month old whom cracked his tooth on accident while playing with his older brother. Both ladies handled my child with gentle care, explained our options and went over everything in such detail. They were even very comforting and patient with me. Our son had to get his tooth pulled and the made the process the most seamingless as they could. I'll never forget how sweet and caring they were to me and my little boy. I am so grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Ladies!

Positive experience: i’m sure they do ok work. cannot compare vs other dentists. but what i hate is how they scare tactic u into getting more work done. it’s like they are always trying to upsell more dental services. when my health is on the line, what am i gonna do. say no? jeez. kinda getting old tbh.

Fantastic experience: The service was excellent. Cleaning technician was very professional and did great work on my teeth. She explained all of the procedures being done and why.

Positive experience: It was my first time here and I was nervous about how it would go. It would have been nice for someone to explain first thing that I had to do the e-check in and fill out the paperwork online. I have always been given paperwork to fill out so I waited to be called only to find out later I had to do it online. The wait time would have been quicker if it wasn't for that. Once I was set, Dr. Rahimi came out to greet me. I thought she was very kind and appreciated her for doing that. She introduced me to Kindra, which was very sweet and helpful. Kindra took my x-rays and did my cleaning. She was very gentle, explained everything she was doing, and answered any questions I had. Dr. Rahimi was also very thorough and let me know how to better protect and take care of my teeth, which was very important to me as my last dentist did not go into depth about that. Overall, I felt comfortable here and was satisfied with my experience. I will definitely be coming back.

Everyone from the doctor to the front desk and hygienist was friendly and patient with my questions. The doctor clearly outlined a treatment plan for me and explained in simple terms why I needed it. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for over a decade and I could not be happier. Most recently, I was in need of a crown to replace a cracked filling. I did accidentally cracked the temporary crown. The office staff were able to get my an appointment right away. While receiving services, I asked if I could get the permanent crown installed as soon as possible. Yolanda was able to check the status of the order and discovered it happened to be deliver that morning and just in time for my vacation. Thank you Dr. Angeles, Yolanda, and team.

Fantastic experience: Quick and easy same-day crown replacement! They were able to get me in the day after my crown fell off. Yolanda and team all made sure everything ran smoothly, I was out with full delivery within 3 hours!

Negative experience: We went here and they tried to rip us off. The dentist is not friendly and it’s all about money here. Thank God we found a good dentist elsewhere. Every time we went to La Habra Modern dentistry they tried to add charges that my insurance would say we shouldn’t be paying for. Don’t go here. They will bleed your pocket book and say you need treatments that are unnecessary.

Today I am getting my permanent tooth put in by the amazing Dr. Angeles besides an extraction of another tooth. They have alot of patients with people with Anxiety .. Great with my Daughter who has special needs also. We have been coming for years . We will not go anywhere else. Negative experience: Where do I even begin? My experience at La Habra Modern Dentistry was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. What should have been a simple dental cleaning turned into months of severe pain, sensitivity, and dental issues - all because of the appalling incompetence and potential scams running rampant at this place. I went in just needing a routine cleaning, but Dr. Qureshi immediately started trying to terrify me into getting expensive and unnecessary dental work done. She claimed two of my teeth were in horrible condition and that I urgently needed crowns to avoid even costlier root canals. She also pushily insisted I get a mouth guard for bruxism. Against my better judgment, I allowed them to do the crowns and make the mouth guard. What followed was one of the worst experiences of my life. The process of preparing my teeth for the crowns was excruciating, as they ground down over 70% of the tooth material in barely half an hour. For the next 5 agonizing months, I couldn't chew on that side of my mouth, and anything more than room temperature liquids caused searing nerve pain that regularly woke me up at night. The mouth guard was a twisted, ill-fitting nightmare that only added to my misery when I desperately tried using it. When I raised concerns about the work or my suffering, they just told me to see a root canal specialist, making me slowly realize this was all a scam to extract more money. Finally, I got a second opinion from my dentist back home, who confirmed that Dr. Qureshi had made an absolute travesty of my previously healthy teeth: - She burned through and killed the nerves in both teeth - She failed to treat my cavity before putting on ill-fitted, cheaply made crowns - Inflammation was spreading under one of the crowns - The materials used were substandard and clearly cut corners Apparently the mouth guard was also completely wrong for me based on my specific situation. My dentist was horrified at the shoddy work and unethical practices. The sheer negligence and lack of professionalism at La Habra Modern Dentistry is appalling. They put me through months of severe pain and damaged my teeth, likely intentionally, all while trying to milk me for every last cent through unnecessary procedures. The crowning insult was having to waste hours at each appointment sitting in the chair while they disappeared for long stretches. I'm honestly shocked that they are allowed to keep practicing. This horrific experience has made me incredibly distrustful of the entire dental profession. Do yourself a massive favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - your teeth and sanity will thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr Angelus and Erica! I had a small chip on the back of my tooth and other offices kept trying to push a crown on me. Dr Angelus was able to smooth out the chip without needing to replace my tooth. Saved me so much money and hassle. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Need to mention my temporary crown fell out in LESS THEN 24 HOURS due to it NOT being set in correctly!!! I had to go in AGAIN to have it set in RIGHT this time by another person named Yolanda. Yolanda did it RIGHT. Went back for the permanent crown to be put in and that WASN’T done correctly by Dr. Angelous!!! So I had to go back AGAIN to where Dr. Angelous made it WORSE than before & also caused UNNECESSARY DAMAGE to a tooth that had NO prior issues….this is ongoing, causing stress, trauma and a lot of inconvenience. I have an appointment set up with the owner, office manager and Dr. Angelous tomorrow let’s see how they make this right. I’ll keep you posted but at this point I don’t feel comfortable, safe or confident and NOT by any faults of mine

Negative experience: They had a lot of added in costs and separated one service into multiple charge codes to charge separately for the same service. Making it 3 times the cost of what it really should have been. They tried to say my insurance company misunderstood the codes and only referenced one code. I’m a nurse and I deal with insurance codes, so this isn’t gonna fool me. It’s sad because I’ve been here before about 5 or 6 years ago. And the experience was so much different. They saw my child had much needed work and took advantage of that. I definitely will not be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Yolanda was super nice and helpful. She took the time to explain and answer my questions. And the crown she preppared for me was a perfect fit. It looked like my actual molar.

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but great experiences since I started coming to La Habra Modern Dentistry. I have had unpleasant experiences at other dentists in the past but never here. All of the people here are wonderful to deal with from the receptionist's, to the assistants, and the Dr.'s. They take time to be thorough and to make sure you are comfortable and get the treatment you need. I won't go anywhere else but this office for any dental work I may need in the future. Dr. Rahimi just performed a root canal on me today and I could not have had a better experience. She has a very gentle hand while getting the task at hand done as quickly and as professionally as possible. Her assistant Mateo was great too. I cannot say enough good things about this office. I have recommended them many times over the years to family and friends and will continue to do so. Thank you again La Habra Modern Dentistry for another good experience. You are all greatly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I had a great customer experience recently. My crown had fallen out suddenly while at work and I was in some pain. My current dentist had stopped taking HMO coverage so I had to find a new dentist ASAP. La Habra Modern Dentistry was open a little later than most offices and the whole team was accommodating at welcoming me as a new patient and getting my needs addressed promptly that very same evening. The doctor was able to place my crown back in and I was in and out in less than an hour. Thankful for them helping me during this mini crisis!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing visit. Yolanda, the dental assistant, was extremely helpful. She explained the process of how everything was going to work. Furthermore, she made me feel very calm and safe always making sure was doing good. Dr. Angeles also made me feel comfortable and made my dental procedure feel easy.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience I’ve ever had. Made a total of 4 visits because I paid for all the work needed in the first appointment so I had to come back. The front desk laugh and joke with each other but are cold with the patients. Dr Rahimi and I didn’t mesh well because i like to be informed and I was not getting explained anything. After the first appointment I was so confused. I felt very rushed into making decisions and signing payment plans. I had to see Dr Bassem Alkatib for a root canal, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had! He was so rough and hurt me so bad that I cried and asked for a break. He never apologized or asked if I was okay. I paid so much money for this root canal only to be tortured. By the last appointment I had a assistant confront me about my initial review thinking I had said something a about her when I hadn’t lol she was trying to get me to say I had a good experience with her this time, that was so unprofessional and made me so uncomfortable. Such an expensive 4 visits for a horrendous experience.

Fantastic experience: The overall experience was very good. Dr Angelus was attentive and efficient. Lori and Kahla were very pleasant and kept me comfortable throughout the procedure.

Positive experience: I almost feel bad leaving 3 stars out of 5 because the staff has been great but I'm extremely upset at the non-service I have recently received by Dr Rahimi. I went in for a deep cleaning a couple of weeks ago with Alex, who is awesome! I developed an abcess on my gum about a week later. I went in to see Dr Rahimi. My appt was at 9:20 she didn't come in until about 10am and when she finally did she didn't even look in my mouth. She asked y I hadn't seen the specialist yet. I had pus coming out of my gum which I told her about. She walked me to the front office to schedule an appt with the gum specialist. I asked for antibiotics and she told me just to keep draining it myself and if it got worse to go back. Well guess what, almost my whole lower gumline is now infected and "emergency surgery" was recommended today. That surgery being close to 10k out of pocket. I'm extremely upset that I was dismissed so easily almost 2 wks ago. oh, I also called on saturday to schedule todays appt and was awaiting a call back with at home treatment recommendations i could do until I could be seen. No one called me back. I'll most likely be changing offices.

Fantastic experience: Yolanda, Dr. Qureshi, Alex and Tommy were all very patient. They put in care to getting my dental work done. Definitely recommend La Habra Modern Dentistry for your future dental care needs.

Fantastic experience: Kaylah did my x rays and assisted me during the procedure with Dr. Angelus which was great . Lori as well did my temporary crown .

Fantastic experience: I had no appointment today and they were able to get me in. Lori took my x-rays and was so nice and patient with me. Dr. Angeles was very professional and answered all of my questions. Overall, a good experience. If you're looking for a dentist, definitely check them out!
