Comfort Dental - Highlands Ranch

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Long at Comfort Dental in Highlands Ranch, and the procedure went very well. The extraction was successful and only took about 20–30 minutes. After I got home, I experienced much more bleeding than expected, with the gauze becoming saturated and blood pooling in my mouth. I called the office, and Dr. Long personally returned my call, explained exactly what I needed to do, and helped me get the bleeding under control. What really stood out was that a few hours later, Dr. Long actually texted me to check on me and make sure the bleeding had slowed down and that I was doing okay. That level of follow-up and genuine concern is exceptional and gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciate the care I received and will continue going back to Dr. Long. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled dentist who genuinely cares about his patients.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS COMFORT DENTAL DR. MCRENOLDS DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING WEEKS AFTER A ROOT CANAL I HAD HORRIBLE PAIN HE TOLD ME "ITS JUST GHOST PAINS" AFTER 3 VISITS FOR THE SAME PAIN SAME ANSWER HE GAVE ME A PERSCIPTION OF ANTIBIOTICS THAT IS NOT FOR DENTAL INFECTIONS AND NO PAIN MEDICATION BECAUSE HIS PRACTICE ISNT ALLOWED TO PRESCRIBE BECAUSE HES BEING MONITORED FOR OVER AND UNNECESSARY PRESCRIPTIONS WENT TO A DIFFERENT CLINIC WHERE I WAS TOLD THE ROOT CANAL FAILED 2 INFECTIONS WITHIN A MONTH. A friend went and also got a root canal and he left a piece of metal in the root. I will be reporting this practice. STAY AWAY!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Long was very personable and answered all my daughters questions before getting her wisdom teeth out. After the surgery she said she did not feel anything and she felt like it was quick and easy.

Negative experience: While Dr. Long did a good job with my daughter's wisdom tooth removal. The assistant spent the whole surgery yelling at her daughter on her cell phone. The women up front are rude, and it is damn near impossible to get a call back for an appointment. Don't bother going to this location, Englewood is much better.

Fantastic experience: Their front desk Jose has gone above and beyond trying to get things resolved with my ins, including spending over an hour on the phone with the ins co. I really appreciate all his efforts!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Long, the resident Oral Surgeon, is an excellent practitioner. Besides just being very good at what he does, as far as I don't understand it that much so, ya know, he is also caring and cognizant of patient concerns. I hope I wreck another tooth soon just so I can go back. Wait, no I don't. But if I have to, yeah. here.

Negative experience: Had an appointment today January 19th at 5pm got two text messages about it. Got here a little early and the door is locked lights off. Have been coming here for a quite awhile but now no more. Waste of gas for a place that is suppose to be open and isn’t.

Negative experience: Service has really improved from when I first started going. Also they don't try to upsell you on services you don't need like the boogie dentists you see around town. Highly recommend. Edit: unfortunately service was not as good for my wife. Scheduled a cleaning appointment for her. Service was more lack luster, and she received just x-rays which we were charged for and no cleaning. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Jose at the front desk is personable, kind, welcomes you and immediately puts your mind at ease that your in the best hands possible. Amanda the office manager knows her stuff and knocks it out of the park with all of the little details. If you need a cleaning, Daisy is professional and efficient. Celeste is an extremely talented Dental Assistant with all awesome personality. Doctor Nina is hands down the best dentist I've ever come across, irreplaceable and once in a lifetime smart. This group is fantastic at everything they do in a collective effort. I am so thankful for all of them. They make complicated concerns easy because of who they are and what they do. Negative experience: My experience at Comfort Dental was shitty! The Dentist didn’t listen to what I was telling him. I said I had a concern about a tooth gap and he went directly to my missing tooth because in my opinion that would make him more money but the whole time I was there, I was confused about what he was talking about because I was talking about the gap between two teeth! If I was talking about my missing tooth I would’ve used those words. He wasn’t my regular dentist Dr. Cuiffo has been my dentist for a long time, but because of that experience, I’ll never go back to that office. And the dentist that did see me literally slipped me his business card when I was leaving and told me to call him directly and not the front desk so what was that?

Scheduling my appointment was easy and stress-free, and I especially want to recognize Jose, who handled my appointment. Fantastic experience: I had a really bad absess tooth, Dr McReynolds and his staff helped take really good care of me. First they took care of the infection, then did the RootCanal. I left after getting me crown today feeling much better. Jose is always so friendly and professional and very helpful, he walks me through each step and option with the insurance part which can be very confusing and frustrating. I don't known the names of the young ladies who helped with my crown, but everyone who helped me was wonderful.

Negative experience: I have had the worst experience at this comfort dental. This is because of their horrible front desk, Jose. I have called several times in the past. He never calls me back if I leave a message. I tell him in a message that I am in severe pain and I need to have a tooth pulled. He always tells me Dr. Nina is not available. I had to demand that I see Dr. Nina because I was in so much tooth pain. This person should not be allowed to work in a dental office. He is immature and always rude.! I would not recommend anybody going to this dental office until they remove Jose. The rest of the staff is good. Due to the fact that Jose is so bad, I will be requesting a new dentist. This is not because of the staff this is because of Jose. He has a horrible, horrible front desk person I recommend not going to this office because of the front desk person.

I chipped my front tooth and The work Celeste did came out great. And I can’t forget Jose and Amanda you are amazing. We had problems with my insurance but you figured it out and got me seen. Fantastic experience: Needed help with an old crown that decided to fall its reigning place, my existing tooth. Dr McReynolds saw me and said what would be needed in the near future. But in the meantime had his assistant reseat on its place of glory, the tooth. Thank you. Came back just recently ( 8 months later) and had a good experience with Jose and other staff members, thanks for the great cleaning of my teeth.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Nina at Comfort Dental Highlands Ranch for a problem tooth. After her thorough examination, we decided extraction was the best option. The procedure took about 20 minutes because the tooth had long roots touching the jawbone, but Dr. Nina made the entire process comfortable and completely painless. I highly recommend Dr. Nina and Comfort Dental Highlands Ranch, and I’ll definitely return to this office!

Negative experience: Dr. Cuiffo-Moradi and Comfort Dental are guilty of malpractice. Do NOT come here. I wish 0 stars were possible. Using a backup account to remain anonymous. I’ve been here several times and experienced nothing but unprofessionalism and neglect from this doctor and her staff. Dr. Cuiffo talks terribly to the front desk staff and it can be overheard from the treatment chairs (including racial slurs). She was working on my mouth and made an incredibly racially insensitive joke about how “plaque lives don’t matter” (which several other people here have reported). She screamed on the phone to patients that haven’t paid their bills in full, when I’m sure she had gauged them for unnecessary treatments in the first place. I’ve seen another dentist since leaving this horrible practice and they have taken great care in correcting Dr. Cuiffo’s mistakes. I found out she caused nerve damage to my tooth by performing a huge filling when I should’ve just had a root canal. Sounds like it was a way to prolong the number of appointments, treatments and dollars I’d have to give her. The office manager is no better. She’ll be fake nice to you until you have a bill you can’t pay off in full immediately with no notice. I’ll be filing a detailed complaint with the state and pushing to investigate Dr. Cuiffo. Comfort Dental should fire her and her license should be revoked.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nina is excellent, very competent and no-nonsense. I have trusted her care for years. Daisy the hygienist was gentle and professional. Jose on the desk was extra helpful as I had many insurance questions, which he went above and beyond to answer thoroughly.

Negative experience: All staff has no manners or empathy for their patients. I was crying scared in the chair and they still talked down to me and treated me poorly. Also to Dr Gomenyuk, learn how to properly talk to your patients and maybe take the mask off so they can actually hear you.

Fantastic experience: Went under IV surgery. It was fast a didn’t feel a thing. dr Long is very good at what he does. And everyone is very nice and accommodating

Negative experience: We have decided to find another Comfort Dental office because my last appointment was a terrible experience. I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time before anyone came to the front to check me in. I heard the staff in the back having a good old time. (This isn't the first time I experienced this same scenario.) I had to wait another 10 minutes and finally had to pop my head through the check-in window to ask how much longer it would be. They finally got me in. The dental hygienist assigned to me turned out to be "in-training". She was having all kinds of problems working the equipment. She said everything was working fine, but I knew it wasn't. So I got up out of the chair, went to the front to explain what had happened and requested a full refund.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nina has been my dentist for many years and she will be my dentist for as long as we both live in Colorado. She is the best dentist I’ve ever had and I fully recommend her.

I was referred to Dr. Stuart Long DMD by Dr. James Parfitt for Oral Surgery. Dr. Long went Above and Beyond to help me regain my Health, Confidence and Hope for the Future. Fantastic experience: Dr. Long has been a Godsend for me! I have been having trouble with an implant. He added bone grafts twice in order to give it a solid foundation. My former dentist (told me all my crowns were fine) retired and the guy that bought his practice first thing he said was you need this crown replace and this one etc. the dentist here said they were fine. I trust that this office isn’t trying to drain my wallet with stuff that’s not needed. 10out of 10 stars!

Negative experience: Had my first experience at this office and unfortunately won’t be going back. I had positive experiences at a different location but no longer live in that area. I waited 30 minutes to go back and heard the doctor ask someone what I was there for. This was my first red flag because I scheduled the appointment for a routine cleaning. The doctor I saw was a little strange, Dr. Coofy (spelling?). She repeated herself sooooo many times. She kept telling me a joke about making plaque homeless and that plaque lives don’t matter. I felt this was a little inappropriate and one time was enough, let alone 12 times. I could tell she wanted something to be wrong with my teeth but I take care of mine and just needed a cleaning. She kept pushing to get my wisdom teeth out and I said no, but she clearly didn’t want to take no for an answer. The office is also not very clean. I walked by the surgical area to use the restroom, and I wouldn’t feel confident having dental surgery in that environment because again, it wasn’t very clean. I also had someone say to me that I clearly didn’t read the reviews before coming in. Just a weird experience.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Dr. Long to anyone that needs a specialist for their dental procedures. I was nervous and a little embarrassed when I walked in but the front office staff was so pleasant and responsive that I felt at ease right away. We were checked in by Jose (I’m not 100% on his name). My 10 year old son was with me and Jose went above and beyond to make him feel welcomed and comfortable. The office is very clean and relaxing. Apparently, I have very tricky molars with long roots so I was referred to Dr. Long by my regular dentist. I was able to get an appointment within 48hrs of my referral. Dr. Long was very kind and patient. He took the time to go over everything with me and answered any questions that I had before the procedure. It took a few rounds of lidocaine shots to get my jaw numb enough for the extraction. They really listened to me when I told them I didn’t think I was numb enough. Dr. Long and his hygienist were great and kept checking with me to make sure I was comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. I would recommend Dr. Long to anyone that needs a little extra TLC and expertise for their dental needs. I’m very grateful to everyone at Dr. Long’s office for alleviating the anxiety I had when it came to dental visits.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved Dr. Long and his assistants!! I have dental anxiety and had to have an extraction, they got me in the next day and Dr. kept making sure I was doing alright through the whole procedure which was pretty rough. I chose a local instead of going under and they were as gentle as they could be and super kind. There was someone up front, Jose - he almost made me regret my decision to come. He was just plain rude and acted like not only did he not want to be there but that I was a bother to him. He's the bad apple that almost ruined the bunch - once you're past that it was nothing but wonderful humans I worked with!! I'll go back for sure knowing the kindness and attention to detail after the unmanned front desk guy!! Thank you SO much to all who helped me in the back!

Fantastic experience: Dr. McReynolds has been my dentist for over 5 years now and is still my dentist. The photos of my teeth are before and after he treated me. I love my teeth, I didn’t like to show my smile before due to my crooked teeth, I was embarrassed by the way my teeth looked. Anyway all I’m saying is different people have different problems with their teeth and I’m sure that most Drs are trying their best to treat you and makes you happy under their care. The Drs would refer their patients to see a specialist if it’s something they are not sure of. If it’s a procedure that was done and you’re not happy with, I’d let the Dr know about it and if you want to get your money back I’m sure you’ll get it back at least some if not all of it back. But be fair, nobody works for free unless you volunteer

Fantastic experience: The doctor did a great job, I am not easy to work with when it comes to getting teeth done. I actually threw up on one of the staff members after my procedure, due to my nerves. They were really nice and professional about it. My favorite part is the doctor took the time to check on me the next day, you don't get that kind of service everywhere. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I wish I was exaggerating, but this was my worst experience at a dentist ever. It started with a rude greeting, by who I later found out was going to be my dentist/doctor. She then got into a very unprofessional argument in front of me with the nice young man helping check me in. The dentist tech was also nice but then the doctor came back and she just rubbed me the wrong way, had a very weird demeanor. Also made some inappropriate joke stating ‘plaque lives don’t matter’. At the end, she went on to literally torture me with part of my cleaning, to the point that I cried when I left the office. I have never felt this amount of pain at a cleaning in my life. When I told her she just shrugged it off like it was a necessary pain. I don’t know the other doctors/dentists there but I will never return. Should have walked out earlier.

Fantastic experience: Dr Long is very professional and knowledgeable. Best experience ive ever had in any dental office and he followed up with me the next day to see how i was doing. I would recommend him to anyone that needs dental work done.

Negative experience: I just wanted X-rays and a cleaning. He said I had to have a deep cleaning which I would need to come in four more times. My insurance doesn’t pay for that and I live on social security only. I can’t put hundreds of dollars or over $1000. Into my teeth. I don’t have the money. I couldn’t get out of that place fast enough before they tried to get more money from me.

Fantastic experience: Althea is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had!! Left my teeth cleaner than they have ever been, without a sign of pain or discomfort. Great conversation and attitude the whole time as well! Had to hold in my laughs while she was polishing my teeth Big shouts out to Althea!!!

Fantastic experience: The Doctors, Assistants, and Office Staff at Comfort Dental in Highlands Ranch are always professional, courteous, and very efficient. Over the years as a patient there, I've never had a bad or unpleasant experience! A wonderful place to have dental work done.

Negative experience: *RevealTrays I was so excited about this invisilign-type system. 2 years later, and I just filed a complaint with BBB and am talking to an attorney. It took 4 months to get new trays last year, and I’m going through it again now. They rescan, you call 2 months later to see where they are- and they want to rescan. Idk who loses them and why it takes 2 months and a call to find out nobody has done anything…. Awful.

Fantastic experience: We came for wisdom teeth removal. Great staff helping with the preauthorizatioms. Dr Long took extra time to address my sons nerves.

Positive experience: I had the last of my natural teeth extracted this morning using the sedation method. I've been wearing the bottom plate all afternoon & evening. A little discomfort and soreness, but that's expected. Good job Dr. Long! Thank you

Fantastic experience: I want to start by saying thanks a whole lot to the Comfort Dental - Highlands Ranch facility! The location and area is so amazing, then when entering the facility I felt a nice positive vibe. The front staff was very helpful and on top schedule with all the information that was needed. Then when talking with Dr. Long B4 procedure he took some thinking time to see if he could fit me in and he worked out that he did my two extractions, one tooth on both sides of my mouth But DR Long and his staff really did an excellent job with the two extractions that was done I feel Great no lie. Thanks again.

Dr Nina is so pleasant and likable almost like a friend, and does my perio maintenance and check up expertly and thoroughly. I really appreciate her expert advice also.
