Fantastic experience: This was our first time there, and I felt like everything from checking in, full mouth, x-rays, meeting both the tech and Dr. Berger - who were very professional, it was an all around easy experience. Probably a more thorough exam and cleaning than my previous dentist!

Positive experience: Dr. Berger is a wonderful dentist. However, a couple of minor points were disappointing to us. First, a new 3% charge to use a credit card to pay. And no whitening syringes were included with our annual Dental Savings Plan this year. They were included last year.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Burger does an excellent job and can be counted upon to help with any Dental Health issue. Critical for me, Dr. Burger can make a crown right there on the spot, a big advantage if you need one. I have been under her care for nearly 10 years and highly recommend her and her staff. They are super friendly, efficient at keeping you in touch with your schedule via texts and e-mails, and best all they will leave you smiling brighter every time.

Fantastic experience: We were looking for a dentist to give us a second opinion on needed care after moving to Colorado. After being told that between my wife and I we would need 9 cavities filled, we sought another dentist to confirm or refute the findings. The staff at Highlands Dental made us feel like we were already part of their regular customer base, seeking previous x-rays so we didn't have to pay for new ones right away, listening to our concerns and questions and then providing great care in a very timely manner. Not only did they refute the other dentist findings, they squashed them completely finding no evidence of cavity issues! Thank you Highlands Dental for being our new dentist and not an attempt at purchasing a new home!

Negative experience: Told me I needed a cap immediately and that if I BUY NOW I’d receive a discount. Then got 3 follow up calls pressuring me to buy the cap before the 1 month pricing special ends. Got a second opinion who said the filling was fine and getting a cap, although fine to do, was not urgent. Nice people but high pressure sales makes it difficult to parse out what’s medically necessary. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: this dentist is spot on. You might say in our busy world time is important! Dr. B. gets us in and out her hygienist are friendly. Coming from medical background, I know how important it is to have healthy teeth and gums because it actually affects so many other parts of your body from your heart to your gut health! They are a wonderful group The hygienist as well as the dentist are very attentive. They both explaining everything that they do in your cleaning It was great experience This time I had to go through putting on a crown. To be honest with you, I was slightly nervous before I came. I’ve had pretty good health with my teeth. They made it so easy. They have a 3-D printer, which means they can do your crown or any other dental work right there. You don’t have to come back it’s all done in one day. That is a huge plus as we are all busy and time is valuable I was in and out of there and my teeth are awesome!

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience. Everyone was excellent, analyzing all my medical needs and insurance coverage with wonderful care and proficiency. Dr. Burger extensively examined my teeth to help design a good plan of treatment going forward. I am very happy with their care.

I have also gone to other dentists and been told that my teeth needed a bunch of work that I didn't think was necessary, but when Dr. Burger looked at my teeth, she said everything looked great. I think those other dentists were just trying to make money by giving me unnecessary procedures, but she never does that.

Positive experience: This office is filled with amazingly kind people and friendly service. The office itself is old, outdated, and literally has wall posters fading with age but give them a chance if you need local dentistry. I really appreciated the doctor and all the staff. If the office actually reads these, yeah that place feels like 1994 and looks worse so maybe consider that in attracting new clients.

Negative experience: After waiting for 20 minutes when it looked like it would be even longer, when I tried to ask about how much longer it would be just to start my appt., the Dr. told me to leave! She was very rude and insulting. I have never been treated so badly by a dentist in my entire life. Terrible treatment for a new patient!!

Negative experience: I liked the Dentist and thought that I had found a new dental home. I appreciated that Dr. Burger worked me in the day after my tooth cracked; however, her financial policy does not show commitment to doing her best to help her patients. Her financial policy shows that she is more interested in saving a couple of hundred dollars or less than ease the financial burdens of her patients who must shell out many more hundreds of dollars (in my case I have already paid almost $900 over two visits) and may end up having to pay the entire crown service because my root canal may have well exceeded my annual coverage, but Dr. Burger's policy is to not allow patients to use care credit unless the one day balance is $1,000.00 or more. Most other offices are happy to incur the additional 7% credit card fee if it means helping their patients not incur a financial hardship. This includes the Endodontics office she sent me to. They did not balk at my using my care credit card to pay my $465.00 patient responsibility. Therefore, I will be looking for a new dentist that provides both great customer service and cares about my financial wellness, just like Endodontics Associates. The few dollars Dr. Burger's office saved by not allowing me to use care credit caused her to lose over a thousand dollars in future earnings because I will need a new crown next year and I am just waiting for my new benefits to kick in and my FSA to re-set. That does not seem like sound financial intelligence to me.

Staff is friendly but professional, prices are amazing, and they work about 10 times faster than any other dental team I've seen, and somehow manage to do a better job than other dental teams as well. Finally, I am NEVER worried that they will recommend unnecessary procedures to me or try to oversell what treatment is needed. Their recommendations are always for exactly what you need, as opposed to what would maximize their profits.

Positive experience: I went to Highlands Dental for several years and had a good experience until I showed up for my cleaning and the dentist did my cleaning. Just as I don’t want a doctor drawing my blood (I want a phlebotomist who does that all day, every day), I don’t want a dentist cleaning my teeth. They sent me a feedback form after my visit and after I provided this feedback, I received a letter in the mail saying that I needed to find a new provider. They didn’t have any plans to hire a hygienist and I was essentially fired as a patient. They also do not have the latest technology such as the pano X-rays and the ability to make crowns in office. I wouldn’t recommend them.
