Negative experience: This place absolutely sucks. The young blonde chick at the counter had a rotten attitude for no reason at all. Everyone besides her was super friendly and they were fast. HOWEVER, I was told I had no cavities no problems and had good to go. One month later I go to another dentist because of jaw pain to find out I have multiple cavities. Very disappointing they would send me out the door after taking X-rays and just looking at my teeth when I came in for a cleaning. Then sent out the door saying everything was fine just to find out that completely was not the truth.0/5 stars do not waste your time in this place. Also notice how most of the reviews are all foreign names reviews are not organic and probably not actual customers. Please do not take yourself or your kids and family here. Especially do not be fooled on their website says They have been Open since 1940 and Laura still runs the show her grandfather left for her. All of the dentist and “important” people in there were not from around here at all. I think they may have an education, but their goal is just to get people in and out quickly and collect payments. Which also was a problem on the phone I was told it was one price and then after my appointment I found out it was double and I didn’t even get a teeth cleaning. They literally just looked at my teeth and took x-rays then told me everything was fine. ZERO out of five this place is doing a disservice to people. Just read the comments that are real they all are bad reviews.

When I went there was a young lady with her baby and the lady’s at the front helped carry the baby while the mom was getting work done. I would recommend this place to everyone. Truly a very great place. I had a cleaning done and they were very fast and professional.

I was in so much pain so I called here and they got me in the same day. They were efficient and effective. Super amazing people that work here. They truly care about your health. I ended up having to get one of my tooth’s pulled and the dentist here is like a king of tooth extractions! Thank you to all of new holland dental associates staff!

Negative experience: Worst dentist, I've ever been to their organization is horrible. They give me services and then tell me.I have to pay more because they collect last time. Then saying they can't give me services until I pay, but then that happened a couple months ago, and now they're changing their minds. NEVER go to this dentist if you want honest, kind dentist. Who don't swindle you out of services and money.

Negative experience: My back tooth came apart and I needed 4 teeth pulled in the front. They explained the procedure and cost but they ran through everything so fast it was hard to understand everything at once. When I ask the staff at the end to explain again on part what I had to do the receptionist was rude sheseemed frustrated with my questions and became more difficult to deal with. I'm still dealing with my issue. I would go back. But having to deal with the staff specifically the front desk. They are rude arrogant and act such ways.that theres no need to speak to customer Like we are children. If you don't like your job than quit. No need to be difficult and disrespectful.

Negative experience: broke my tooth during a filling and said nothing about it

Negative experience: Bad experience. Was told one price by the front desk and then when the other lady came (im assuming the owner) she proceeded to tell me a different price which was triple of what i was originally told. She wouldnt explain why and didnt let me ask questions, she kept walking away and rushing me. Once in the room i asked the assistant why the price change and i heard the lady owner through the walls saying shes not going to argue with a patient when all i asked respectfully was why i was told two prices. Bad business. They arent descriptive or informational at all and just want to get you in and out asap without answering your questions. The spanish ladies working the desk were great though, sadly wont be back and prefer to pay more elsewhere with better patient service.

Positive experience: Good experience with dental care, dentist. Most unprofessional front staff. The only part I dread about the visits are check in and check out process.

Negative experience: I just had the most painful dental cleaning of my life. I went here a couple years ago to get X-rays that I needed and everything went smoothly, so I came back to get regular work done two years later. It is horrible. The staff seem to not know what they are doing. The head dentist is good, but the assistants are not. They don't even communicate with patients what they are doing and it's not like you can say anything when they have sharp tools in your mouth. I got two cavities filled and my partner did as well. Both of us are having pain months after having the fillings were done. It hurts now where it didn't hurt before. Plus, it's completely uneven. I scheduled for a cleaning though against my better judgement thinking that what could possibly go wrong, it's a simple thing. Well the whole time was so painful, which never in my whole life and all the cleanings I had has it hurt like this. My teeth feel so awful. I'm just hoping it goes away and this is not a long term thing because they did something wrong. I will not be returning and I advise anyone looking into going here as a first time patient to continue looking. Side note, the atmosphere is horrible. The rooms are not private, it's wide open with one wall between and you can hear screaming through the walls of the day care next door. Not even kids, it's adults screaming at the kids. Overall, I cannot think of anything positive to say except that fact that they play family feud on the TV in the waiting room.

Negative experience: I was not the patient, but my mother was, and the way she was treated is completely unacceptable. My mother is an elderly person who does not speak English, and during her recent appointment, the staff member who assisted her was incredibly rude, dismissive, and outright accused my mother of lying. My mother primarily complained about her new dentures, stating that they are uncomfortable, ill-fitting, cause discomfort in her gums, and fall out while she is eating. When she expressed these concerns to the staff member, they claimed the dentures fit perfectly after forcibly pushing them into her mouth with her hand. My mother is struggling to speak because the dentures shift, she can hardly eat, and they refuse to adjust them for her. This situation is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! If the staff lacks professionalism, they should seek employment in a different field.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so amazing there! Front desk ladies are the sweetest and funny! Dentist and everyone working in the back was amazing and so understanding! They also were so helpful on education of certain things such as instead of just saying “floss more” they took the time to explain why it was needed and what could happen. I would recommend them to anyone!

Doctor explained every step clearly My husband is very happy with his smile!

Negative experience: Worst dental experience ive ever had! Came up off the chair 3x when getting tooth pulled!! Told him i could still feel it and he kept going! Currently still have a peice of tooth left in the gum! He didnt seem to care i was in pain and kept digging in my gum! Before even numbing it he stuck the metal object inside my cavity, said he needed see how far down the cavity went ! Left me a little shaken up traumatized from it all!

Negative experience: If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD!! By far the worst dentist I’ve been to! I was coming for a regular dental clean and to have a tooth looked at that has been giving me trouble. First, as soon as I walked in the door the floor was filthy! Secondly, it’s connected to a daycare and it sounds like the kids are going to come through the walls. Next, I go get my X-rays and they didn’t even use the lead apron on me during my X-rays. I get called backed into the patient rooms and once I sit in the chair there was NO PRIVACY whatsoever ever! Other patients were just walking by straight through my room, just terrible, they could hear everything and could see everything that was going on. The dentist comes in and gives me maybe 5 minutes of his time and doesn’t give me any information and just wanted to rip my tooth out that I’ve had issues with. I asked about my cleaning, and he’s says, “no cleaning today” after waiting 1.5 months for a basic cleaning and to have a tooth looked at. I was told a whole lot of misinformation over the phone and when I get there everyone acted like they didn’t know what was going on. Seems like everyone over there needs to get on the same page. I go to a second dentist to get a second opinion and it was a wayyyy more pleasant experience and I get to keep my tooth!! And this guy wanted to just rip it out hahaha. I guess it’s just an easy way out of the work that he didn’t want to do. Go Get a second opinion people!! And DONT EVER COME HERE, SAVE YOUR TIME and find somewhere else!

Negative experience: You should tell the ppl the cost of the procedures before getting work done especially when we have insurance. I didn't like that Asian girl who did my fillings wasnt sure which needed tooth 2 or 3 which ha to be done and the other hygienist all she said as long as it's not an extraction. Made me really uncomfortable. Definitely won't be coming back . Training needs to occur and your system updated to be able to give itemized cost and what has been done . Not a clinical note. Before getting something done make sure you ask for prices , that way your aware and can afford it.

Positive experience: I got my cavities filled here in 2024, so yay for that! However, they never told me I had periodontitis nor that the wisdom teeth i had had a cavity on it. 3/5 for filling my cavities but I wouldn't come back here again.

Negative experience: The office is very clean and up to date. Dr B is quiet and appts are short. He is in and out so if you have questions, ask quick. Staff is okay but the office manager is a rude and nasty person. I have 2 insurances and needed more information to be sent to my primary plan for them to approve an expensive dental plan. When contacting her, her response was "So what do you want me to do? Write a paragraph telling them what they can already see on your x-rays?" I was shocked! Little did she know, I do all the predeterminations for insurance plans for the department I work in through Penn State Health Medicine. YES, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED HER TO DO!!!!! The office manager wanted to schedule an appt for me to move forward and pay a portion out of pocket instead of filling out a form sent to her from my insurance plan for further review. This experience dictated money is more important that individual needs of each patient. Not willing to go an extra 5mins to fill out a paper and fax back to my plan spoke volume to me. I have now made a new appt with a new Dental Practice. When I expressed to the office manager: I travel an hour to get to my appts, I have never had an issue there but because of her, I will now transfer care, she simply said "OKAY". I asked how to go about this, she answered "Come to the office and fill out a form". Basically saying "see ya later, no - I won't do anything to keep you and not even a thank you for allowing us to service you. CUSTOMER APPRECIATION IS KEY NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO!

I am a puss when it comes to the dentist but the folks here really treated me well from the scheduling to welcoming into the office great service throughout my entire experience!!!!! I can say the Doctor his associates are great and have steady hands I did not experience any pain while having my teeth cleaned and repaired!!!!! See you guys in 6 months!!!!! Thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency where I had chipped my front tooth. Dr. B squeezed me into a busy day, was very thorough in fixing my tooth and alleviating my pain all in a timely matter. His office was beautiful, modern, & clean. His staff were all welcoming as well as accommodating in making me feel comfortable. I absolutely recommend this office to anyone needing care!! Negative experience: Update 4/26/25- The dentures were taken back for repair after the second tooth fell out March 8th. He finally got them back April 18th. SURPRISE, a 3rd tooth fell out today April 26th! He has been unable to use his dentures longer than what he's been able to use them. Also, the "1 year warranty" starts when the "process" starts, so it's more like a 9 month warranty. At this point we are getting the BBB involved. My father had his dentures done by Dr. Bashatov. The process started in August of 2024. He finally received them at the end of November. On February 3rd a front tooth fell out while he was eating soft foods. We went back with the dentures and the tooth for it to be repaired, that took a couple of weeks because their lab is "out of state". He was able to get them back February 14th. March 8th, a tooth fell out AGAIN. I called the office and spoke to a receptionist who was polite and understanding, however I asked to speak to an officer manager. Dr. Bashatov picked up the call and I explained the situation, that my father had swallowed the tooth this second time it fell out, and how frustrating it was that the dentures kept falling apart. He didn't seem concerned about the tooth being swallowed, and it was only after I asked him if there should be any concerns about it that he said my father should go get an X-ray done. I asked for the name of the "out of state lab", he was rude and he refused to give that information because "it is private". He even went as far as to tell me that "he just bought a brand new car and it already broke, so things break!" Very unprofessional. I will be contacting my father's insurance company to have them review his dental claim, as the dentures provided are obviously defective and of very poor quality!

Negative experience: I am still waiting on them to get back to me,because the last time we talked . They wanted me to call the insurance about appel the insurance decision on not covering the rest but they told me the Doctor should have known they wouldn't ok the rest. Now I have 4 holes in my mouth which if not taken care of could weaken my jaw. They did not give me any options except to pay out of pocket and all at once, when this is their fault and don't care. Totally messed up they make the mistake and I have to pay for it

Negative experience: The office staff was not friendly at all. The dentist spent maybe 5 minutes with me, did not listen to my concerns or answer any questions I had. The placement of their rooms are not private in the least, other patients are walking through your room to get to their room, very unprofessional! Do not recommend!! TO ADD TO YOUR RESPONSE…I have been there(1/28/25@9:30am). Your rooms off to the left are not private, you were taking other patients through my room to get to their room.

Fantastic experience: Best dental clinic ever! Dr. B is the best. He is super caring, gentle, and quick. It is obvious that he knows all the ins and outs of dentistry and never ceases to provide the most optimal treatment plan to cater toward your needs. He always takes his time to answer any and all of my questions. Tracy and Rosa at the front desk are also super sweet and helpful, and my hygienist Karen was very informative and did a wonderful job at my cleaning. Not to mention she is super easy and fun to talk to. The office is also super modern, clean, organized, and cozy. The dentist is a huge you know what, uncomfortable guy to be around. Finding a caring, decent dentist is awfully hard nowadays and it shouldn’t be. No one here cares about your pain.

Negative experience: The absolute worst experience I have ever encountered with a dentist. Dr. Bashatov's bed side manner is absolutely horrible. He was completely inconsiderate of the pain I was feeling and he completely disregarded me when I expressed that my bite was not comfortable. I felt rushed like going through a car wash. The front desk staff was kind but that's the only positive thing I can say about this place.

Negative experience: Staff on the phone are VERY rude and unprofessional. When I went in they took a quick X-ray and barely looked in my mouth and diagnosed me with periodontal disease. After going to a more trusted dentist who did an actual exam and tested each pocket they told me that I do not have periodontal disease. Saving me from the pain and out of pocket cost of a deep cleaning. After posting this review they went to my business on Google and left me a false negative review. These people are vile and horrible. I will now be reporting you to the dental board of PA and if you’re part of the BBB which I doubt I will also be reporting you to them as well as talking to a lawyer for a defamation lawsuit.

Negative experience: I had an appointment for my mom to have her teeth removed. We went there and waited for the doctor to come in. When he arrived, he numbed my mom and removed her teeth. While waiting for the numbness to take effect, the staff just walked away and never asked if she needed anything, like a cup to spit out saliva. She had to swallow it instead. Please don't go to this dental clinic; the service is terrible and unprofessional."

Positive experience: The manager, dentist, and hygienists are one of the kindest most professional people I have met. However, the reception is rude and unreasonable. She had moved my appointment to an inconvenient time within 7 hours of my appointment and demanded a 40$ fee when I told them I needed to reschedule it to another day. For the blatant disregard of customer service by the receptionist I moved to a different dentistry.

Positive experience: It's a good place way to many nurse/ helpers standing around only one dentist. Must be making bank off insurance . The appointment times are always late when u get there be ready to wait an hour

Negative experience: The staff is professional it’s the dentist I had problems with my partials 5 times . I sd how can we handle this . My insurance can’t get new till 5 yrs mine are under warranty. He doesn’t listen to patients concerns and I sd ill go somewhere before 5 yrs he sd please do un professional. Miss the dentist prior . Staff your wonderful I would not work for someone who doesn’t care . Was far from being rude didn’t cause a seen I sd I will go somewhere to temporarily fix it . Customer service for many years never in my life have I did what you’ve done . Dentures fall apart mind you I don’t eat candy veneer fell out 5 times . Made partials look like vampire teeth . Now I have to wait for another dentist. That’s ok I I have a better one .

Negative experience: Saw them for years after being severely mentally ill and not taking care of myself or my teeth properly. Never addressed the discoloration of my teeth. They would fill cavities and give me cleanings every 6 months, but nothing else. Recently, I sought a second opinion and found out my discoloration was due to the decay of my enamel. I had so much decay, that my teeth were so yellow and decayed at this point that whitening was no longer an option. The only way it can be fixes now is through multiple crowns, costing thousands of dollars for it to be done right. I honestly cannot believe they never addressed this or the severity of it.

Negative experience: Worst dentist office ever. The staff are nice. The doctor he is like a business man he does not care for you or give you time to understand what he will do. He was not even looking at me while he was talking to me the 5 seconds he was in the office. Not recommend.

Fantastic experience: For those serious people looking for an awesome dentist, this is the place. I have witnessed the professionalism and care from this practice. I understand that today’s society is hard to trust. I can say that I trust Dr. Ruslan. This is the best practice ever since Dr. Ruslan took over.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOTHER!!! This practice is unprofessional, uncaring, and discriminating against those of color! They will provide unsatisfactory services and take you money! My mother was treated without care or interest. She was fitted for dentures, which proved to be unsafe to use and improperly fitted. After confirming available coverage, and several attempts to repair/adjust they DENIED any support and simply rejected support after the claimed was paid! It’s unfortunate a medical practice can promote such unethical and discriminatory practices! If you value human life and truly care for helping others, this facility should offer a more honest & caring service, but they don’t! We highly recommend to consider another practice that will value human life and the well being of our beloved family members!

Fantastic experience: This office is wonderful! It's one of the best, friendliest and most accommodating dental offices I've ever been to. I see Karen regularly for teeth cleanings and she's a rock star! She takes the time to explain everything to me, including that I have a tongue tie which literally no other dentist's office has mentioned in 30+ years. I was also due for x-rays but expressed concern that I wouldn't physically be able to get through them due to a medication I'm currently taking that causes nausea and affects my gag reflex. When I mentioned my concerns to Karen, she offered several incredibly helpful tips and I was able to get through the x-rays without issue! Turns out humming makes your body unable to gag, another thing no dentist's office has ever mentioned before. I highly recommend trying it for comfort even if you don't have major issues with x-rays! She also made sure I knew I could take the bites out as soon as I heard the beep of the x-ray machine so I didn't have to wait for her to return to the room. The dentist is great, too, and always takes his time to explain anything and answer all of my questions. In terms of pricing, this practice is incredibly fair. I don't have dental insurance so I pay out of pocket and their rates are far lower than any other office in the area. I also appreciate how up front they are--they will let you know beforehand what everything will cost so there's never any surprise billing. They also don't push you to purchase the most expensive options. For example, the dentist recommended a night guard and said if I wanted a custom one I could get fitted and buy it through them, but he also made sure I knew I could get them cheaper from Amazon. While the receptionists are not always the friendliest or warmest, they are professional and also must have to deal with a lot. I will happily deal with a slightly tired, cold welcome if it means I get such fantastic care at such great prices. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Literally the worst dental place ever please don't come here! The some of the staff aren't polite. The filling for my tooth they did well but let me tell you for the cleaning this lady did it knowing that my gums were Inflated this girl literally almost rip my gums off I don't even know If she was new but she did a horrible job after they finished cleaning my teeth the dentist afterwards didn't double check if the cleaning went well. So when I went back home my gums started bleeding nonstop for 2 days straight horrible i tell you since after that day of cleaning around 12 at noon and all night I had to go to the emergency room around 9pm I had so much pain the worst night I ever experienced. So yeah don't go here cause the dentist doesn't know what he's doing he basically said I don't know what to do there's something wrong with your blood and to go check it at my primary doctor I'm like serious dude the blood work that the nurses did at the emergency came out perfectly normal. So I went to my primary doctor my doctor was really in shock saying that I had to go back to dentist because they were the ones that did the work. So that day when I went back to dentist Literally the whole stuff was being nosy especially the lady that did my cleaning was looking at me the whole time even when they called me the back there was another lady snooping around so when they work on the gums likely the dentist gave me a medicine to stop the bleeding Literally saying he doesn't know what to do the other day why not gave me that medicine that day. So yeah I recommended not to go here

Negative experience: Worst. The Dentist traumatized me when doing extractions. I’d rather be toothless than go back there.

Negative experience: I haven’t been to new Holland dental for 3 years . Decided to make an appointment. Once I came in . The receptionist was not friendly at All. She appeared annoyed once I approached the front desk. As I was waiting patiently until she was done assisting another patient , not only I could tell how friendly n nice she was to the other patient. But when she was finish with the other patient, she had a serious face with me and seem like she did not want to assist me . And My 2 year old was running around . He is special needs and he’s Autistic . He was just happy to be in a different place he never been too , so he was just doing what a nornal 2 year old would do , run around in circles. So I was not sure if I could bring him in . I Did ask her politely if it was ok if I can bring him in the room with me if not I can re schedule . She said I would have to sit him on my lap but she said it with an attitude . . I said ok . So as I was waiting to be called my son stood up on a chair I diddent realize until I looked over n I see. Him , I was gonna take him off the chair . But the receptionist seen him first n told me to take him off the chair with an Attitude . She seemed like she had an attitude and did not like the fact that I brought my son with me .She was very rude. I will never step foot in the dentist again .

Negative experience: This is the worst dental place I have ever been to. The guy must need money. I thought I was getting a cleaning and ex-rays To my surprise I only get the ex-rays. He basically said you’re good, make an appointment for a cleaning. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM. The patients have no privacy in your dental room. Other patients walk right through your dental room. I also had to wait more than a half hour for ex-rays. If I could rate him a negative number I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL..You just replied to my comment..DO NOT WORRY I HAD NO INTENTION ON EVER COMING THERE AGAIN AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE!!!!!!!
