Dr. Sara is the best! I had the opportunity to return to the original location in Akron this week, and the renovation and addition are absolutely gorgeous! I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Stephanie. She was so easy to talk with and took such great care of me. I truly don’t think I could ever find another dental practice where I feel as comfortable, valued, and well cared for as I do at Gotwalt. Fantastic experience: Arrived at the new office for the first time for my 6 month cleaning and exam. The new office gives the team more room and is designed well. It is obvious a lot of thought regarding features and functionality went into the design and kudos to Dr. Sara for a job well done. The Gotwalt staff did a tremendous job moving and setting up the new office. The efforts of the Gotwalt "A Team" were instrumental in the success of the move. The exam was thorough and a camera shot of a potential issue was shared. All good for now and it is a pleasurable experience to use this practice. You are not just a patient here, you become part of the dental family.

Fantastic experience: I will say this again: In my many decades of receiving dental services for both me and my family this is by far the best. I actually look forward to my regular visits. The new location not only expanded space but also the dental team. This visit was a great opportunity to work with Billie the hygienist and meet Dr Stephanie.

Julianna showed such patience, care, attentiveness, and understanding while working with Beth, an intellectually disabled adult--her skill and compassion were evident in every moment. Dr. Stephens mirrored that same thoughtful approach, creating an environment where Beth felt safe and respected. It was polar opposite from what we encountered earlier this week at a different practice. The office is beautiful, modern, and welcoming, and the staff works seamlessly together to make every patient feel valued. Thank you for going above and beyond for us.

Fantastic experience: We all like to go places and be around people who make us feel welcome, accepted, and happy. I was new to the area and introduced to Dr John in 1988 through Welcome Wagon. From the first visit, I was not just the next patient in the chair, a relationship developed and Dr John and his staff made it their business to learn about my needs and me. The care over 29 years has been phenomenal and the staff, friends, make each visit a comfortable experience, all the while delivering exceptional care. I have always have been heard, never left feeling like something was missed or questions went unanswered. Laughter is the norm but the care is utmost professional by all. You will see.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I chipped a tooth and needed it repaired. But, as usual, Dr Gotwalt's office came through and saw me the next business day. Fortunately, my issue wasn't emergent, since i wasn't in any pain. But, if it had been, I have no doubt that Dr Gotwalt would have taken care of me. My wife and I have been seeing Dr Sara and her dad, Dr John, for about 35 years and wouldn't go anywhere else for our dental care!! The people at this practice are like family! They're not only interested in you as a patient but genuinely value you as a person as well! We love the Dr's Gotwalt and their office family and gladly recommend their practice for anyone needing a dentist!! I actually look forward to going to the dentist because of Dr John and Dr Sara and their care over the last 3 decades! That was NEVER the case before!!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to what I call the 'Gotwalt Family Dentist Office' since I was a kid. I'm in my 70s now. I had John's Dad as my first dentist. Then son John took over the practice and now it's John's daughter Sara's practice . Dr. Sara and her hygienists and office staff are competent and caring. There's a family atmosphere. Chatter along with cleanings and fillings. There are large windows to look out of. It's clean and also light and cheery. After you've been there a couple of times they'll remember you and ask you about your vacation or kids or whatever it is you talked about 6 months ago! I may be in the minority, but I like going to the dentist (this dentist ). I trust Dr Sara and her staff and recommend them to everyone.
