Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Alla by a friend. After receiving a horrible implant with my old dentist I was so happy to find Dr. Alla. She listened to my story of receiving bad dental care from several places.. So far I have had two dental implants and was very happy with Dr. Ref the oral surgeon that Dr. Alla recommended.. I also had a crown replaced recently and Dr. Alla made sure it was a perfect fit!! I keep up with dental cleanings with Sletvana, who is an expert in dental hygiene. I have my teeth cleaned at least 3 times a year to help my teeth and gums remain healthy!!! I recommend regular cleaning.. it’s so important! Positive experience: It's weird that the dentist didn't look at my teeth during my first appointment there and only meets with me unless requested. Ive never had a hygienist tell me I need a root canal, that should come from the dentist. However, everyone is helpful, prompt and cares about their patients. Really takes the time to explain and educate. Great cleanings!

Fantastic experience: The front desk Ana and Dr Alla, Took so much time with me I’ve never seen anything like it. They postpone my treatment because I was on antibiotics for several weeks and then you Botox would not have the same effect. They postpone my treatment till after I return from Jamaica because the sunshine would’ve ruined the Botox. They also warned me about taking blood thinners. They really want me to get the most out of the money I spending with them for both tax injections. That already are starting to look awesome.!! Thank you so much, empire, dental, and staff!!!!!

From dental cleaning services (the Hygienist is so thorough and gentle) to implants (Dr. Alla had to complete a five unit appliance that another dentist started and botched up). Negative experience: The doctor is good at what she does. But they tried to rip me off. I was infuriated last week when they told me i needed over $8000 of work (I KNOW I dont need that much work). I have good insurance and she's in my plan. They went through the itemized work "needed", explaining how my insurance covers everything at some percentage. Then told me I have pay upfront because it "takes too long" for them to get the payment. I Just moved to NJ a year ago. I used this same insurance in PA with an Endodontist, Oral Surgeon & General dentist for 5 years and never had this experience. Then the receptionist was snippy as I was leaving because I didn't want to pay the $150 charge they deemed appropriate for trying to financially rape me! I was there for 15 mins. Do NOT go there unless you want to be taken advantage of.

Old Bridge NJ 08857 2027 March 22 Friday phone ☎️call - called today to schedule an appointment with the hygienist for routine cleaning. Was told that they are NO longer participating in United Healthcare Community Plan. I feel obliged to make this public in this review so Members of the this plan do NOT have to waste their time scheduling an appointment with Empire Dental Group. This is a major setback for members like myself whenever a dental practice stops participating in the United Healthcare Community Plan. I was willing to pay out of pocket for cleaning and X-rays but was told that the earliest available appointment is April 30. Also 1:00 PM is NOT good to schedule an appointment - the hygienist takes her lunch break at 1 PM. I hope this is helpful to other members who use the United Healthcare Community Plan at this particular dental practice at this location. 2022 Oct.11 - Perfect 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. All went well today. Nice and pleasant. Good reliable dental practice, nice presentable clean facility, and nice dependable staff. My hygienist is nice, sweet, kind, likeable, dependable, attentive, understanding, and very patient. I have had only positive dental visits so far. Nothing to complain about. Also, love the bathroom - very clean and easily accessible.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alla Pavlushkin has worked wonders when it came to me. I have had sever top jaw crowding my entire life and I’ve been to multiple orthodontics. Many have advised that I should see an oral surgeon to have my jaw realigned because of my bite. Some also requested that I should have spacers on the top roof of my jaw, and even requested some removal of more teeth. I was sooo against it all. I even went to see a few Invisalign orthodontist prior to Dr. Alla P. Which Some took my money, then ended up refunding it back to me because they said my case was too complicated. I really wanted Invisalign because I felt the shame of wearing regular metal braces as an adult. The last orthodontic prior to Dr. Alla gave me false hope…. Once he return my money I pretty much gave up and then two months later my husband went in for a cleaning with Dr Alla P. He advised me that they do Invisalign and that I should go check them out. I told him no at first, because I was sick of being turned away or being refunded my money, but I went in for cleaning instead. I immediately felt so comfortable with Dr allla and her incredible staff. She talked me into giving it one more try because she assured me that she can in fact help me. At first I was skeptical, but decided hey why not and I have to say it has changed my life. It is the best decision I have made. I never thought my teeth will be as straight as they are now in one year. It’s been a miracle with me. I’m still receiving treatment, but they are very straight already. I used to look like a vampire and now I have actual straight teeth. Thank you Dr Pavlushkin and staff. I Definitely recommend them as they not only confident in what they do, but are absolutely the best at what they.

Fantastic experience: I’m new at this office. I’m also terrified of the dentist. As a result of the fear, I have lost some teeth in the back and closer to my smile totaling 3. Dr, P is very friendly and comforting. I started with a filling or two this past year. The more I go, the friendlier I’ve gotten with all the ladies there. We’re building a nice relationship. I have a difficult work schedule and I know I’m a pain lol but they are so accommodating without getting annoyed lol After making myself comfortable here I decided to choose them to help me with my implants. I’m tired of being embarrassed of my smile. I sware I almost cancelled my appointment to start my implants last week but I did it! I started it! And even the surgeon was awesome! Once I seen his half sleeve of tattoos, I knew I was in the right hands! Overall, I love it at empire. They are taking very good care of me. Negative experience: This review is for Empire Dental Group in Old Bridge specifically to the female hygienist (I forgot her name) and Dr. Alla Pavlushkin. Both treated me like I was dumb and don’t understand what they’re saying. I may have black hair and brown skin and an Asian but I speak English fluently and I regularly go to a dentist so I do understand what they were saying, it’s just that I have questions and they answer like I don’t know anything, like they’re talking to a child impatiently. Then Dr. P quoted me for a single tooth gap that she suggested to have a bridge and she said $4k and my reaction was a surprise friendly chuckle and she got all upset and said “why are you laughing? There’s nothing funny! It’s a lot of work so it’s expensive”. Very rude!! Never coming back to this place!

Negative experience: I can’t even begin to describe the horrific experience my husband and I had there over the past few years. So many wasted allotments for them to not do anything at all, so many teeth ripped out unnecessarily. Such a lack of informed consent, my husband showed up thinking he was getting an impression and showed up to an oral surgeon with an iv bag with no warning. Staff is incredibly rude, appointments way too far out and be prepared to wait once you’re in there. I was charged $800 out of pocket and was told it would take over a year to get it back, I never saw the credit come back to my account. I could go on and on. What a nightmare experience of a dentist overall, do yourself a solid and stay away!

Negative experience: Very disappointed since I checked the ratings before I chose to go there. I purchased 1.5 ccradiesse. Initially The area treated looked great. However the Dr put an anesthetic in with the radiesse. Within two days it looked as though I didn’t have any thing done. Maybe because I purchased from Groupon. I’ll never go there again. It’s unfortunate because if they would have done a good job and we’re trustworthy I definitely would have gone back.

Fantastic experience: Alla is the most incredible dentist I’ve ever had. I moved to NJ from NY so the change of dentist also needed to happen but Alla made me feel very comfortable right away. I did a treatment of Invisalign and it was a great experience. After that, I underwent a dental cosmetic procedure and Alla was so detail oriented and careful, she listened to my concerns and also advised on the best approach for long term beautiful teeth. Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth that became infected and was causing excruciating pain. I had called a few other dentists looking to have it fixed but nobody would squeeze me into their schedule. I called Empire dental and she got me in the same day. Some dentists will only examine the problem and have you come back to fix it , Dr Alla diagnosed the problem and performed a root canal on the same day. All of the staff were great to deal with. The receptionist was great, she fully explained everything and made sure I knew what to do when I got home. Very thankful I found this place.

Fantastic experience: I’m someone who hasn’t been to the dentist in almost 6 years due to my fear and phobia of dentists. As a kid I watched that horror film “The Dentist” which no one should watch. But as I’ve gotten older I understand how important dental health is important and I told myself I would start the new year facing my fears. I signed up for dental insurance and searched for dentists in my network that worked with patients like me. I am the type of patient that shakes, cries and feels sensitive to all the noise, tugs and pulls. But let me tell you that this place is AMAZING! I made sure to tell the receptionist about all of this and when I came in for my appointment they checked me in—very professional and sweet! They shared words of encouragement and support. I appreciated their pep talk to help ease my anxieties. The hygienist who did my cleaning, Svetlana, was gentle, supportive and encouraging. She didn’t rush me at all and took things slow. She let me use my noise-cancelling earphones (which I highly recommend) to fade into the music, which really helped! Fantastic experience: COVID precautions in place, staff is warm and welcoming, Dr. Pavlushkin is kind, considerate and current on her scope of practice. I will definitely be returning.

Negative experience: Stay away unless you want to leave with an asymmetric face with lumps at weird places. The worst job I’ve ever received.
