Negative experience: Awful, horrible bedside manner firstly, then did a terrible job on a root canal for me, and my wife. My wife's was re-treatable by an endodontist. Mine looks to be unsalvageable. Dentists like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. He rushes to complete every dental operation to usher the next patient in. More patients seen = more money made. This does not make for quality lasting work.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee doesn't seem much for small talk, but in all he is QUICK. I didn't expect to be in and out of that office as fast as I was and in a good way. Not rushed to get out. X-ray was very different than my other experiences and front desk receptionist Josie was friendly and very helpful. Will be coming back for an extraction.

Fantastic experience: I found the staff to be courteous and professional. I found Dr. Lee to be cordial. He listened to what my problem was. And he took care of it, and he made sure that I was numb before he started procedure, most dentists have a hard time getting numb. Because I have deep roots and with hell mother's numbing a matter of minutes and I was out of there in 20 minutes they had me in the back when I first arrived within 5 minutes I will return to dr.Lee in the future!

Negative experience: I have never had a problem with any of the staff or Dds Lee. They have always been professional and very quick work. Unil this last visit. The two numbing shots shot pain up thru my nose, traveling up to the lower eyelid. I told them it hurt really bad, the pain was intense each time he injected there. Then when the drilling came I kept raising my hand, the pain was so severe. I kept saying it was painful. All I got was "it's almost done" and then the doc drilled again. From the sharp pain of the drill, to the end where the resin/filling was uv cured and the intense heat that was painful I have never been in so much pain from getting fillings. My tear ducts watered for hours, and my nose kept draining with it. The next day my soft tissue around my eyes were so swollen. I can only open my right eye partially as the swelling is so intense. Not a happy visit.

Fantastic experience: Went in due to wisdom teeth pain, they got me a referral and without me even asking they wanted to fix my front tooth for me that was chipped! It was so nice to have them complete my smile without me having to say anything. They got me in a week later for my front tooth filling and now I feel confident again! Positive experience: I do like Dr. Lee and his staff is pleasant. And I did just find out ( I didn’t know this information previously, so I thought probably like most, that aren’t able to get private insurance; you are just being pushed aside) that when you have partnership or delta dental or whatever the insurance is called when you can’t get insurance through work; a lot of procedures aren’t covered until a tooth or teeth are falling out of your mouth or you have a severe infection! I could “feel” his frustration with being unable to help until it was an emergency…. It really isn’t the individual dentist fault. It is the system! They tell us how important our dental health is and how it affects our overall health, yet we can’t get the resources to take care of them until it’s too late…

The office and billing staff are friendly and efficient, and the office is clean with convenient, accessible parking. Dr. Lee goes above and beyond to support his patients, and he’s one of the few doctors in the area who accepts Partnership insurance. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I don’t usually write reviews, but unless you have private insurance, they absolutely hate treating you. I heard one of the ladies trash talking a lady who came in with medi-cal, then proceeded to say “don’t get the free ones, just get private insurance” how extremely disgusting, disrespectful, and inconsiderate with the financial struggles this country faces today. I also heard him talking about giving someone a root canal, later when he looked at my teeth he said he could only do one extraction and that’s it, that they didn’t do root canals and caps there. absolute liar. He just doesn’t do it for you unless you have private insurance, so i hope he has fun on his high horse. absolute gross human beings work here. Mind you, my tooth was pulled in under 6 minutes, he went in carelessly with the needle, and then just yanked it. It felt very careless.

Fantastic experience: I came here on a recommendation of a friend (she thinks the dentist is the devil) But she loves Dr Lee! So I came in with a cracked tooth from a year ago. —>(Corn Nuts are the devil!) It never hurt so I just left it. I assumed he was going to pull it but he reconstructed the molar. I also assumed I would be feeling it after yesterday’s dental work but I feel nothing! Dr Lee is a man of few words so if you’re looking for a best friend, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for a great dentist that knows what he is doing, call them. Now, call them now! Don’t procrastinate like I did.

Fantastic experience: Phobic of dental work I usually get sedated and knocked out to get my teeth cleaned. But not having the money I went to dr Lee this morning. Fast. Quick. Helpful. The staff was great also. If I have to go back I might.

Negative experience: If I could give them no Stars I would, I had a family emergency and missed my first appointment and apparently the rules there are. If you missed your first appointment you don't get to have another another appointment made after that so don't call here if you're in pain or I need your teeth fixed if you're going to accidentally miss your appointment. Otherwise you're screwed and you can get charged $100.. so ridiculous,can't get any proper care!!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and efficient. They all were very prompt and got to me quickly and gave and great assessment and answered all my questions as well. Going back next week for my first extraction!

Negative experience: So… the one star is for the nice office staff …. It all goes south from there… I had the hardest time trying to find a dentist in the area that accepted Delta dental - I called around and came across Dr. Lee. For my first visit, I apparently came in a day before I was supposed to for a cleaning. The nice person at the front desk advised me they could still fit me in even though it was a day early. I advised them I was new to the area so they took a couple of x-rays. The hygienist took a quick look at my teeth and said “your teeth are very clean.”, which I thought was odd. Then Dr. Lee came in - No hello, just opened up and looked around for about a minute and then left….. The hygienist then proceeded to put fluoride on my teeth and then said “ we are done!” I am 58 years old and have NEVER been in a dentist chair for less than 30 minutes for a “cleaning” . I’ve written three different letters to Delta dental advising them of this visit and asked for them to cancel it as I had to go somewhere else for a real cleaning that involves scraping as a normal dentist/hygienist would have done. Delta denied my request and I had to pay out of pocket for the REAL cleaning. I see some people that love this office - I don’t know if I caught them on an off day or not but hopefully this does not happen to anyone else as this should be done properly to prevent any issues. Delta dental will also be hearing from me - I’ve been with them since I was on my parents plan and never sent a single complaint to them until now. I will never go back here due to the time and money I have wasted!

Fantastic experience: Dr Lee is a very efficient and knowledgeable man. His assistants are friendly and also help to get you settled in for some work to be done. Great team of skilled human beings. The receptionist is amazing. She helped me create an account on the partnership website and printed me up a card so I had one on me at all times. Restroom was immaculate with plenty of hand towels and soap. Thank you Dr Lee and staff!

Fantastic experience: The Lady In the front did an amazing job. She was extramly helpful and I felt super welcomed to be there. This was the first dentist that the x-rays did not take far too long and drawn out, they got all of their imaging perfect first try. Lee David was straight to the point of what issues are present and solutions on how to fix them, he did not try to up sell anything or talk down to me about my situation. Very pleasant visit and very quick. The whole appointment was done within 45 minutes of me arriving.

Negative experience: The office assistant specifically asked me while making my appointment if I lived in Shasta county and I said “No, I live in Red Bluff. This office was listed as taking Med-i-cal and I have a dental emergency”. She said “ Oh, Red Bluff is fine”. We arrive at the office and she takes my ID and says “Oh, we only take Shasta county residents. Just a second, I think the doctor will see you if I put in a different address”. But by the time the doctor said “ no we can’t treat him” they had already taken X-rays. So now we’ll see if I get billed for x-rays even though it was the incompetent office staffs fault. Waste of time.

Fantastic experience: I was in pain for 5 days straight. I couldn't find a dentist that would accept new patients. I called them, seen me same day, gave me what I needed, and scheduled me for more appointments. Top service!

Negative experience: First off, the hygienists here are absolutely amazing and sweet and great at their jobs (I’m not sure how they put up with working for this horrible dentist)! I went to this dentist because I had a broken tooth, which they weren’t even able to help with because are not equipped for any kind of oral surgical procedures. I was given a polish on my teeth, nothing more. I was then scheduled for four fillings, two on my top right and two on my top left. I am not sure how he missed the tooth on the bottom right that was causing the most pain, or the cavity I’ve had on my bottom left for over two years (haven’t had dental insurance to take care of these issues). I have Partnership California and Dr Lee told me I would have to go all the way to Chico which is 1 1/2 hours away from my house. I called to schedule an appointment but they told me I would have to come in two separate visits because Medicaid won’t allow them to perform a procedure of either extraction or root canal on the same visit as the X-rays and exam. I have three special needs children so there’s no way I could work around this. Dr Lee was brutally rough with the needle for numbing, and didn’t even hit the right area! I had to receive 6 injections to get numb! I am still dealing with a broken tooth and horrible mouth pain until I find a dentist I can afford and that will treat me like a human being. DO NOT LET THIS HACK OF A DENTIST TOUCH YOUR TEETH IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE PAIN!!

Fantastic experience: I arrived early so I could fill out paperwork then I was called in at my exact appointment time, got x rays, right after that the dentist came in, did the examination, then I got a quick cleaning and I was done, it was amazing, the office is so clean ,well organized and professional with kind and helpful employees, this is my go-to dentist now

Negative experience: Dental assistants and reception are wonderful ... 5 stars! But this office is a representation of the Dr, and he deserves five red flags as far as dentistry goes Dr Lee - if I must call him that - created the least comfortable environment of any medical professional I've encountered. With the cleaning, He doesn't check your gums, and no scaling. He asked which teeth are bothering me, and those are the only thing on the treatment plan. He didn't spend time looking at the x-rays, or even in my mouth. Just polish and floss by a friendly dental assistant. Dr Lee failed to communicate, and to offer any sort of comfort. He still does silver fillings, and I had to insist on white. He blamed me for not being numb, when he was the one rushing to give the shot. I started to get numb, then it went away and he was going to just give me another one until I stopped him and asked for the numbing gel again. He was also extremely rough to an unnecessary extent. I would never recommend him to anyone, and would even prefer Western Dental to this.

Positive experience: I'm new in town and called the office. Explain my situation with a broken front tooth. She said I'll see you in an hour. I was floored. I went in there after an issue with my insurance. I just paid $300 cash and if my insurance kicks in she said she would reimburse me? But it was done and I got to hold my head up high when I walked out of there. Because as you know girls and the way we look means everything receptionist lady was the best in the world. I swear I've never met such a kinder person ever. The rest of the crew , not so much. But the dentist did do a good job and I was in and out in an hour and a half and I got same-day service. So if that accounts for anything there you have it

Fantastic experience: Actually seems to care. Western dental refused to tell me anything was wrong with my teeth. Lee was fast to tell me that I needed help and referred me to a nice doctor in Chico. Lee was kind and his nurses were gentle and helpful and made me feel better. As someone with Anxiety and Autism, it made me feel safe.

Positive experience: No long wait times. Receptionist is awesome. But he doesn't do root canals or extractions, so they sent me to a dentist in Chico. I tried to come back to Dr lee after my Chico experience,I had alot of concerns, and Dr lee wouldn't even talk to me. They said they aren't seeing me anymore, and my new dentist is the Chico guy,who gave me no treatment plan, and didn't wipe the blood off my face when I left after a bunch of extractions...But any dentist that is grinning and says "Are you ready for the brutality?" as he starts the novacain shots with no warning....is most likely not a good dentist.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience for me and my whole family! We called to get registered as new patients (all 6 of us) and they were able to get us in same day for exams and cleaning. The process was quick and smooth, and the hygienists were kind and professional. My daughter needed a filling too, and they found an appointment for us the very next day. The only bad thing is I got sick and now I have to wait another 30 days to be seen again but to be fair that's still faster then my last dentist.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is not only very good at what he does but he is also kind and caring. When I started to have a panic attack while having a mold taken he stood next to me and held my hand and talked to me the entire time. I also had a front tooth Crown fall out and other dentists did not have a solution for me except a partial. Dr. Lee put in a longer post and gave me a brand new crown. His staff is wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone.

Positive experience: The office staff is friendly and helpful and very conscious of your financial decisions as well as making sure you have a quality dental experience. Dr. Lee does not have the same social skills. I understand he is busy and also trying to accommodate many people, but in my 4 visits over 2 years he has not really spoken to me or seemed genuinely concerned about my experience. This would all be fine if he were the best dentist in the world. I am not saying he is a bad dentist, but to say he is the kind of dentist that can ignore his patients and rush from room to room...he isn't top quality enough to do that. The recent conversation I did have with him, he accused me of taking medication or Marijuana as a reason why I wasn't numb after 3 novocain shots. (I wasn't taking either) After leaving the office my whole head was numb for 7 hours. I think he is a little impatient and should understand that if he gives me a shot near my upper lip, then wonders why I am not numb near my lower back teeth in 10 minutes, maybe he should be more patient or hit the right spot better. The work being done on my last visit was to repair a filling he had done the year prior. It did not feel like a top quality job when I left the first time...maybe it was, maybe it wasn't...I am not a dentist, but it felt like it wasn't filled all the way. Well, it broke, and then he made me feel it was my fault for it breaking. This second job does feel better. I am not sure how many other dentists take my insurance in the area. He is very quick, so that is a plus, but I wouldn't want him to do more than a filling.

Fantastic experience: This place is a very nice place the staff is amazing. I needed a tooth taken out. They took it out in one day. Unlike a nowhere place that sed my medical didn't cover it. And sed that it was going to cost a lot of money. If you read this then you are tying to find some one that is not trying to up sell you on somthing that you don't want or need. This is the place

Positive experience: This location is NOT excepting new patients, don't bother calling if you are not a current patient. I saw Dr Lee about 10 years ago, at the time he did a decent job.

Fantastic experience: They were great. I did not wait long to be seen. They explained why I was having a pain with some fillings that another dentist did. They also took care of my tooth that was broken. Very polite and informative.
