Fantastic experience: Great service, Ive had alot of onlays and dental work over the years. One onlay took almost 5 hours once… I found Dr Mimi through a family member after cracking an old onlay, she cleaned a cavity under the onlay and got me setup for my new onlay in under 60 minutes. Very impressed and very comfortable with everyone here. Would highly recommend. My wife is going here now as well!

Fantastic experience: Very professional but very nice Dr and staff. Wanting u to be satisfied, they make ever attempt. I was unsure walking in the first time, about costs and prepayments? Then i realized any prepayment is for diagnostics being done that day-and makes sense. I walked in for cosmetics on front teeth and walked out just a few weeks later with a much improved and pretty smile. They also offer no interest loans on dental for up to 2 years. Also have this cool program where u can buy a "policy" (that's my word) of dental hygiene, exams, emergency exams and discounts on future dental needs. Makes me feel more protected for the year since I am a cash patient. What a cool place and a bunch of dog lovers work there! Pam M.

Fantastic experience: Best dental office all time. I haven’t been to the dentist in a very long time. I don’t even remember when the last time I went. There was no judgment only explanation of what I need to do with high tech scans, x-rays and education on the steps to take care of my teeth. From the moment I called to be a new patient to just getting my deep cleaning to get my teeth and mouth health back to semi-normal has been a phenomenal experience. Fantastic experience: It felt like someone booked me a first class ticket to the dentist. Water, blankets, Netflix… constantly checking on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was a bit nervous about letting someone new in my mouth. I had a great first experience at SMILE. My old dentist retired (Dr. Chapin) he was the man, and I was left fending for myself like the new kid at school. The cleaning was great and Dr. Mimi is very kind and explained what’s going on in the deep corners of my mouth. I will be back. Oh yeah, And Lindsay is the greatest of all time!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Miimi and her team are amazing! I've been going to them for several years, since I moved to the area. In particular, I'd like to note that Kamilla is by far the best hygienist who has ever worked on my teeth (and I'm a pretty old guy). Not only is she extremely thorough, she's quite careful too. Let's face it, most of us have experienced teeth cleaning where you leave the office feeling as though it was Nurse Ratched who had just worked on you (old movie reference from One Few Over the Cuckoo's Nest). That is simply never the case with Kamilla. Most importantly, she is passionate about healthcare in general and oral health specifically, like no other hygienist I've ever gone to. We spend time discussing daily teeth and gum care, including what time of the day to do each step. She has helped me get my gum issues on a very positive path forward. I can't thank her enough!

My dental hygienist, Kamila, always leaves my teeth incredibly clean, and she is very knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain everything in a way I can easily understand, which I really appreciate. They truly pay attention to every detail — they offer you a blanket if you’re cold and even make sure your lips don’t crack by applying Vaseline throughout any procedure. I’ve never had a dentist do that before, and it made such a difference. After the visit, they give you a warm, moist cloth to wipe your face, which is such a thoughtful touch. Dr. Mimi is also excellent. I genuinely feel like my teeth are well taken care of here. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My kids and I have been coming here for a few months now. I feel spoiled every time I go. The best part is being able to watch Netflix with headphones while I'm in the chair. It takes my mind off of the dental experience. Everyone is so nice! Dr. B did a filling for me yesterday, and I love her! She was so gentle and kind and explained everything as she went and checked in with me regularly. She even gave me a device to hold my mouth open since my jaw was getting tired. Mimi and Team are the best dentist squad I've worked with, don't take my word for it; take the fact that I'm willing to drive from Burbank to Thousand Oaks for a cleaning 4 times a year. I came in for a cleaning with Priscilla who got me in and out in record time, then the front desk team that worked with me (Josh and Kayla) took care of the follow-ups, billing, consents and more! Fantastic experience: As someone who has had a lot of PTSD associated with the dentist, I’ve been going to Dr. Mimi for almost 5 years now. The longest I’ve ever seen a dentist in my life. I’ve never felt safer actually discussing my issues and finally formulating a plan to fix everything that’s been done wrong to me or I’ve neglected out of straight fear of what needed to be done. (And who would do it!) Through root canals, deep cleanings, broken crowns… I had a fuzzy blanket and Netflix Not only is Dr. Mimi extremely kind and understanding, but her entire team is part of what makes this office such a great place to come to. Priscilla did a super job on my deep cleaning, which I was terrified of as I'd never had one (only heard horror stories) and in the end I was seriously grateful for such a positive experience, and ultimately left wondering why I had put off going to the dentist for so long. Kayla is a fabulous dental assistant who makes sure you are always comfortable, not in pain, and able to watch your favorite Netflix on screen for a pleasant distraction. I am so relieved that I got caught up on all my dental work and will find staying on top of things easy with such a great doctor, staff and office. Grateful. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Several members of my family love Dr. Mimi Theerathada in Westlake. Her office is beautiful and serene, the amenities are much appreciated, and she is so kind and gentle. I'm the world's biggest chicken (think: projectile tears as my butt lands in the dental chair) but her entire staff does their level best to put me at ease. For our family, she's done little maintenance things, to two whole mouth restorations that are gorgeous.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Mimi & Kayla have been absolutely amazing, they have honestly changed my life. This is coming from a man who disgustingly hates being at the dentist and gets anxiety due to my prior dentist. I came in originally to get a root canal done and shortly after jumped into getting porcelain veneers. I am so happy with my decision in going to them. They have walked me through the entire Veneer process, which was nearly painless and I now have a different outlook on going to the dentist as a whole! I had several procedures done by Dr. Mimi including multiple onlays, fillings, and a crown and all went very smoothly and Dr. Mimi was available after my appointment for following up on how I was doing. The office is also very accommodating with scheduling and got me in very promptly multiple times and worked with my busy schedule as well. I would highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I love this office. The last dentist I had seen prior was fear mongering and made the experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. It took a while for me to schedule another dental appointment, but I’m so happy I did! I found Dr. Mimi and her hygienist Lindsay, both were wonderful. I was in need of a deep cleaning as I had inflammation and bleeding around one of my wisdom teeth. Lindsay was sweet and took great care of me. She explained the procedure thoroughly and did an excellent job. She called the following day to see how I was doing. It’s a beautiful, clean, state of the art office and everyone is kind and welcoming. I could not recommend them more highly. I’m so relieved that going to the dentist now does not instill me with anxiety anymore. I look forward to getting my teeth taken care of with this stellar team!
