Negative experience: I am a minor, and I had a very upsetting experience at this dental office. I arrived exactly 9 minutes late for a cleaning, x-rays, and an evaluation on a painful tooth due to a major freeway accident. Instead of showing empathy for a patient in pain, the staff treated me with total hostility. Stephanie at the front desk immediately demanded a $75 late fee, condescendingly repeating that I was “lucky” it was being waived. Instead of trying to accommodate a patient who was only a few minutes late and already in pain, Jessica, the office manager, escalated the situation into an argument. She kept focusing on the passing minutes during the argument and used that as justification for why I supposedly could not be seen, rather than making any effort to actually get me in for care. It felt like the priority was arguing about timing instead of treating a patient in need. Jessica also told me I was being “aggressive,” even though I am a minor and was simply trying to explain the situation and advocate for myself while in pain. Being labeled that way in this context felt extremely unnecessary Then they told me I had to reschedule as an emergency appointment for another $75 fee. Charging that much over a 9-minute delay when someone is in pain is completely exploitative. I also want to note that, during my previous cleaning, the exam felt incredibly rushed and surface-level, lacking the thoroughness you would expect from a professional practice. This office cares way more about tracking minutes and collecting fees than actual patient care. The entire interaction lacked empathy and basic respect. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a dental practice that actually values its patients.

Negative experience: 1st i want to say I had only visited once, my mom twice, and this review is honest. The first time I went I had a very basic cleaning and by very I mean quick and almost felt like it was not thorough cleaning just lightly passed over my teeth. The second time that I TRIED to go I had to reschedule my appointment because I had to work. So I called about 2 weeks in advanced to change the date. Then I received a $50 cancellation fee because the staff at the front desk had not removed my appointment or updated anything. I called and the receptionist said they would have to check the call recording history to see if it was true that I was not lying about having changed my appointment. She said it would take about a 5-7 days. After 7 days I called back since no one there followed up with me. The receptionist gave me sass saying no one followed up with me because we are a really busy dental office. I checked with her if my upcoming ACTUAL appointment was still on file she said no I dont see anything here. So i said I was not surprised since they did not even mark down the appointment change. I said just forget it do not make me an appointment I would rather find a new dentist. For my moms experience she had gotten a crown done at the location. She was expecting to get it fixed but the receptionist with multicolored highlights told her she could not be seen and that she was not allowed to request an appointment unless she paid an additional $50 for the crown to be fixed. Normally that is a dentist procedure error so we should not have to pay for their mistake. My mom was in pain and when she asked for a supervisor the same receptionist did not call for the supervisor she just gave my mom attitude and refused to assist her and her chief complaint. I am definitely disappointed that I wasted time and effort switching over to this dental office. It is regretful but the front staff absolutely needs to be coached on their behavior and trained to be less sassy and rude with the patients. Maybe there are some good dentists working there but we will never know since they did not even follow through with making the appointments. Maybe they cannot use computers or the software. They should also not be afraid to have a supervisor step in to make sure things are operating smoothly, since people only avoid letting you talk to a supervisor if they know they are in the wrong.

Fantastic experience: Had my wisdom teeth removed and it was painless and quick experience. The staff and the oral surgeon (who preformed my extraction) were very kind and professional.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist I've ever been to. She only offers you the most expensive treatment options. But on 2nd opinion was offered a very different path. And don't get me started on her unbelievably awful "bedside" manner!!! STAY AWAY!

Negative experience: Before I come I asked especially for endodontist, they said: yes, we will make an appointment for the consultation with endodontist (I have a referral), they asked to send me a picture of referral from my dentist, which I sent, but when I come they said: "if you want a consultation with endodontic you have to pay $350 for CT scan first. After that you need to make an appointment for endodontist". I have a CT scan on my hands, but they said "for the consultation with endodontist you have to pay $350 for our CT scan". So, don't spend your time here, they will try to charge you money when you already come, because they understand, that you already spent time and the time is very important about the health.

Negative experience: Don't spend You time to waiting for appointment. They will tell you by the phone "of course let's make an appointment, come and we will do our best to help you", but they will try to charge you as much as that can without any guarantee of the result!

Negative experience: I tested positive for COVID the day of my appointment and immediately called Baywood Dental Group to cancel. I was told their $50 cancellation fee would not be waived, despite explaining that I was COVID-positive and had just recovered from walking pneumonia. I explained that I could not afford to simply lose $50 due to ongoing medical expenses and asked whether they would really prefer I come in sick rather than make a reasonable exception. After being placed on hold, I was again told the fee would not be waived. I felt financially pressured to come in despite being COVID-positive, which should never happen in a healthcare setting. The dental technician was kind and visibly surprised and said she would make sure Dr. Fatahi was informed. When I spoke directly with Dr. Fatahi, I explained that I was upset I had been put in this position. Her response was that I should have “just eaten the $50.” There was no acknowledgment of the public health risk or the fact that this policy forced a sick patient into the office. A medical practice should not put patients in a position where they must choose between financial strain and protecting the health of others. If you are considering Baywood Dental Group, especially if you expect flexibility or compassion during unexpected illness, proceed with caution.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Angel and Dr. Kim always do a great job and make it a pleasant visit. Thanks Baywood and staff!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience coming from horror stories of dentist my first time here had to get an extraction and bone grafting the surgeon literally walked me through everything before he even proceeded with his work informed me on every thing every time he was going in painless and fast I was shocked on how quick this procedure took that’s skill I have found my permanent dentist thank you guys

Fantastic experience: Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Liu. He is awesome. 10/10 I was so dreading getting them removed since my teeth were difficult extractions due to proximity to nerves and angles...but he made the experience easy and seem effortless.

Negative experience: This is the third time I’ve come to this establishment and they do not see me. They have told me they need my insurance to send them a pre authorization which takes 3 weeks, however I was told by them I would be able to be seen for my CT scan yesterday and for my work up this Friday. I arrive yesterday and they tell me there are no more appointments on Friday and that they would wait for my authorization to arrive. It is frustrating that they make me drive out there and do not communicate with me in advance. I call frequently and they never respond to my calls and they do not call back which is inconvenient as well.

Fantastic experience: I drive 50 minutes to come to Baywood Dental and it is worth it. Angel, Allyson and Dr. Kim are amazing! They are very friendly. It’s been a positive experience for my Daughter having her braces. I highly recommend Baywood dental.

Negative experience: My whole family goes to this dental office. A year ago my daughter got braces and they asked me to pay $4,500 in which I did. A few months later they called and told me to pay another $500 as my insurance did not reimburse, again I did right away. They advised that if I have issues with the additional payment, I should reach out to my Dental insurance to get reimbused. After calling and emailing my insurance for 8 months, they finally agreed to reimburse but they can only send it to the dental office approximately $200-300 and advised that the dental office should automatically refund me that amount since it's already paid. To my surprise the dental office refused to reimburse me for the extra amount Overpaid. Dishonest office, is it worth losing a whole family of client and another child already intended to get braces? It's not the money as I've already paid $5000, what's another $200? it's the dishonesty and misinformation. They got a great Coffee machine if you like $5000 coffees.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a tooth extracted. Dr Liu was simply amazing. Empathetic, kind, and professional. Most of all he made a very difficult extraction seem like a piece of cake. I would highly recommend Baywood Dental for anyone looking for dentist. From the moment you walk in they make you feel welcome.

Negative experience: I have been going here for about 6 years but was told today they would no longer perform any more procedures for my family. It works because they made the decision for me I was contemplating anyways. They said this after I asked for paperwork and dental codes submitted to my insurance after a cavity was filled on my daughter. Long store short, when the doctor said she needed a filling it sounded like a normal filling. After they send me the estimate I asked for with codes so I could double check with my insurance on copay amounts (learned the hard way you should always do this) I saw the filling was $150. I called my insurance and they said the code was not something my insurance covered. When I called back Baywood and asked the receptionist, shr said it was due to the filling not being a standard filling but a peice that needed to be adhered to her tooth and that they needed to use special tools to receed her gum from her tooth. I asked what other options there were and they said a silver tooth for $200. I also asked why the doctor didn't mention this and they said I should have asked him. This all seemed crazy but at the end of the day this was a permanent tooth and I wanted my daughter to not be scared so I was convinced to also give her nitrous if it was such a "hard procedure", words the receptionist used. While sitting through the procedure they did not adhere anything to her tooth, no special receding process of the gums, was 5 minutes and not even a shot to numb due to it being a very simple and shallow cavity. This does definitely not align with the orginal statement and I know things do change once they are doing procedures but I would expect the codes of work done to then change just as they would if any additional work had to be done. When I asked for this breakdown this is when they said they would refund the $150 (not $250 they charged for nitrous) and would no longer work with my family. This seems very shady and makes me think there's other things like this happening to many. Honestly speaking a couple of the doctors are great as well as a couple of hygienists but the office admin and management allowing this to happen are going to definitely loose them business. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Liu at Baywood Dental Group took such great care of my son when he had all four of his wisdom teeth removed. As a mom, I was so impressed with his knowledge and expertise, but even more with the care and follow-up he provided. He made sure my son was comfortable and supported through the whole process and recovery, which gave me real peace of mind. Truly top-notch care — I highly recommend Dr. Liu!

Positive experience: Edit: I spoke with Jessica (Office Manager) we are working to address my concerns. I will update when/if we can get things resolved. She says that there appointment notification system is glitching, so getting an appointment card is helpful at this time. If you need/want a full accounting of what is happening with your mouth, go to Jessica. She emailed me a list an hour after we spoke, so I finally have an answer about my 6th concern listed in my original review. She also said that they have separate dentists to do the treatment plan and the actual procedure to cut down on wait times when you arrive to your appointment. I hope that things will actually work out well. Original review: I would not suggest this dental office to anyone. 1st they constantly get the appointment dates and times wrong. I have gone there twice and they had the information wrong. If you use them, ask for a note for your employer or an appointment card, so that you will have something in writing for when they ultimately mess up the schedule. 2nd They get your payments wrong, so if you choose to come here make sure that you keep track of everything. 3rd The front desk staff gaslight you even when you prove that they are wrong about the payments, appointment dates/times, and treatment plans. 4th You have to remind the dentist and their assistants to wear their masks and gloves. 5th The dentist that checks your mouth and makes the treatment plan is not the same dentist that does the work, eventhough they both are "General Dentists". They do not tell you this until you are sitting in the chair waiting for them to start doing the work. 6th When you need dental work done that is more complex than a filling they may have you see a specialist, just for that specialist to tell you a general dentist can/should do it. When you see the general dentist again, they can't give you an answer about how/who will do the work. Please do not go here if you want to protect your peace, they will definitely stomp on your last nerve!

Fantastic experience: Got all of my wisdom teeth removed in sedation by Dr. Lui, the oral surgeon, and his assistant, Mrs. Montes. Dr. Lui and Assistant Mrs. Montes were very nice, quick and straightforward about the process, they were very gentle and careful with me afterwards. I’m very pleased that the aftercare went very well!! The care guide is very easy to understand, and I’m grateful for the reminders the dental office has for patients. I definitely recommend Dr. Lui, Assistant Mrs. Montes, and the dental office. : )

Fantastic experience: My son and I recently came in for an inital exam and cleaning. We had to go back in for the minor issues we were complaining about and Dr Fatahi and her staff from start to finish were absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and honest. My son had a gentle experience with his extractions either! Can go back without pulling teeth. Hopefully. Side note* I like that you can see the team work and strong communication within the office and the little family they have building there. Its a great environment to be in. No complaints. Fantastic experience: I recently had a major dental surgery done with Dr. Liu, and it was truly the best experience I could have hoped for. From start to finish, Dr. Liu and the entire staff were professional, caring, and incredibly attentive. They made me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. The level of skill and compassion they showed was outstanding. I can confidently say this is the best dental team I’ve ever been to, and I 100% recommend Dr. Liu to anyone in need of dental care.

Fantastic experience: I have 3 kids (11, 8, 3) and they are all super happy with their dentist experience. All staff is super nice, modern equipment and beautiful aquarium on the reception make every visit smooth. Special thanks to Dr. Aeen - he is just great!

Fantastic experience: The Oral Surgeon, Dr. Liu was the best dentist I have seen since I was a kid. Very gentle (as gentle as a dentist can be), kind and considerate. He would let me know what was going to happen each step of the way. He even called and asked how I was recovering, my whole adult life I’ve never had a dentist check to see how I was recovering. Dr. Liu is one in a million. Baywood offices are very chic and clean and friendly staff.

Negative experience: The doctors are rude and the staff is very good at arguing to their convenience. I will not be going back to this place and no I do not recommend it to anybody.

Negative experience: Is there any dentist out there who genuinely cares about patients in pain? I’m dealing with unbearable tooth pain and was told I need a root canal. I have two insurances—an HMO through my job and Denti-Cal—and still, I’m being asked to pay hundreds, even thousands, out-of-pocket just to get relief. The office I went to told me I needed a $500 CT scan before they’d even consider doing the root canal. The only other option they gave me was extraction, but that also required a $450 bone graft. No matter what insurance you have, they seem to find a way to make you pay out-of-pocket. It felt like I was being upsold at every turn. I asked for a doctor’s note to excuse me from work until I could get treatment—I’m a bus operator and physically cannot work like this—but it felt like unless I agreed to one of their treatment plans on the spot, they’d only excuse me for one day. I’m in pain, and they made me feel like I had to choose a $3,300 extraction and bridge or a $1,500 root canal and crown (yes, even with both insurances). And to top it off, they didn’t even have availability for an extraction for several days—and the root canal would take weeks to schedule. As a first-time patient, they only took one X-ray of the painful tooth, never actually examined it, and quickly handed me a treatment plan. I was given barely any time to ask questions before they walked off, came back with “options,” and tried to push procedures not covered by my insurance. I’m in pain, I’m insured, and I’m being left with impossible choices. This doesn’t feel like healthcare—it feels like I’m just a dollar sign to them.

Negative experience: I want to share my recent experience with Baywood Dental Group, which was very disappointing. I received a call from a lady at the office to confirm my dental cleaning appointment. From the beginning, her attitude was very rude and dismissive. She asked me if I was going to show up for my cleaning, and I said yes. Then she told me that if I also wanted to see the dentist, it would be $200: $100 for the cleaning and $100 just to talk to the dentist. I simply asked how their system works because I’m a new patient and this was only my second visit. I have Medi-Cal, which covers one cleaning per year, and I was aware that I had to pay for the second one. What I didn’t understand was the $100 charge just to speak with the dentist, especially because at my previous dental office near my workplace, I was never charged for a consultation or regular checkup. That was the only thing I wanted to clarify. The lady was extremely rude and refused to explain anything. She just told me, “It is what it is. If you don’t like it, you can go back to your previous dentist.” I felt completely disrespected and discriminated against. When I told my wife what happened, she told me she had a similar experience. One time, when she asked to speak in Spanish at the front desk, she overheard the same lady whisper, “Oh, here comes the one who doesn’t speak English.” My wife replied that she also speaks English, To me, this is racism. What made it even worse is that I was also planning to ask about veneers, because I’m interested in getting them soon. My wife is also waiting to finish paying off her current treatment so she can get some implants. But after this experience, I’m left with doubt, distrust, and a very negative impression of the way they treat their patients. It’s unfortunate because I came to this clinic based on my wife’s recommendation — she and my daughter are currently in treatment there. But after what happened, I don’t plan to return. I’ll be closely monitoring the service they provide to my family until their treatments are completed. A dental office should treat all patients with empathy, respect, and professionalism — especially Hispanic patients, who also deserve to be treated with dignity.

Recommendation: Excellent dental care, but potential patients should be prepared for a challenging front desk interaction. This is not just about us. Sitting there observing how they treat other patients and also phone etiquette. Not sure what happened. Wife was happy to always return, but these lastcouple of time and today were really bad. Something changed and I know that most patient to keep the peace just stay quiet and never say aything. We have been coming for 8 years. This pushed us away.

Negative experience: Avoid this place for save time. They will try to scam you. They’re first dental office which I went from many of them and they are first which asked your SSN and you’re not able don’t provide it to them. I scheduled appointment with them and they didn’t tell me anything about social security number but then I got form which they asked to filled out and there is no possibility to don’t filling out SSN which is weird cause i don’t think that it safe and it’s for 100% not necessary to ask about it and don’t have possibility to skip it. They lied that they need social for billing to insurance company but then they confirmed that it required for THEIR office. I was able to provide insurance, DL, etc but not social and they told that they cancel my appointment. Second of all they told that CT scan is $500 per tooth which is scam as well cause i did two CT scans in different places and usually it costs $200-350 for whole mouth. It’s their business of course and they can put any price but this kind of thing show how they treat their customers and only thing they care it’s not your health obviously. But this is not main thing. The main thing is they asked SSN and don’t give you choice. The only choice “give us SSN or we will cancel your appointment » Avoid them for save time.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM BAYWOOD DENTAL – INCOMPETENT, DISHONEST, AND MONEY-HUNGRY If you value your teeth, your money, and your sanity—do yourself a favor and avoid Baywood Dental at all costs. I went in for two root canals and crowns, and while the first one was fine, the second turned into an absolute disaster. Immediately after the procedure, I was in constant pain. The dentist assured me it was "normal" and that the nerves around my gums needed time to heal. Months passed, and the pain never went away. During a routine cleaning, I brought it up again, and after taking X-rays, they casually informed me that the tooth they had worked on was now broken below the gum line—something that was NEVER an issue before. Suddenly, they were quick to push me into paying thousands for an implant or a bridge. Instead of taking responsibility, they immediately blamed me for the broken tooth, insisting that I must have chewed on something hard or that I grind my teeth at night. That makes absolutely no sense—why would I chew on something hard when I was already in pain? In reality, I had been avoiding chewing on that side completely due to the pain from the root canal. I also sleep with a mouthguard every night to prevent grinding, so their excuses didn’t hold up. Yet, Jessica, the office manager, wouldn’t hear a word of it. When I explained why their reasoning was impossible, she rolled her eyes and had the nerve to say, “Yeah, that’s what they all say.” Unbelievable. Then came Jessica’s aggressive sales pitch, where she immediately pushed for an extraction. She ignored my concerns, dismissed my questions, and kept trying to rush me into a costly procedure. Even worse, she directly contradicted the dentist’s medical advice, telling me not to take antibiotics—just minutes after the doctor had prescribed them. When I pointed out the contradiction, she got defensive, rude, and stormed out of the room. I spoke with the owner of the practice, hoping for some accountability, but instead, she smirked and said, “That’s just how Jessica is.” So, being rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional is just part of the Baywood Dental experience? Noted. To top it all off, three minutes after I left, they called to say the doctor had "thought about it" and would extract my tooth for free—as if they were doing me a favor by covering up their mistake and leaving me with a giant gap in my mouth. Insulting. Baywood Dental is a money-hungry scam that will wreck your teeth, dodge responsibility, and try to squeeze every last dollar out of you. If you want honesty, competence, or even basic respect, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Fantastic experience: I want to acknowledge the dental hygienist, Angel. He is always so patient and caring explaining to my daughter and myself about the procedures that are taking place. He is welcoming and really makes the dental appointment extremely comfortable.

Negative experience: Not going back! I went for cleaning and asked them specifically for not doing anything extra. They still did extra fluoride which is not covered. The doctor charged my insurance for "oral evaluation" but she DID NOT even examine my teeth. They have very strict cancellation policies and they will charge you extra for any cancellation after 72 hours for general and 1 week for specialty. No one need extra pressure thinking that their $400 root canal deposit would be gone if they cancel their appointment later than one week before their appointment! The worst experience with this place is the arrogant and self absorbed Dr F!

Fantastic experience: I want to very specifically highlight both Angel and Dr. Kim. I recently started my braces journey a few months ago and they both have made my experience beyond wonderful. Angel is very friendly, mindful of his patients' time, and has a nose for amazing colognes :) He handles the application of the braces bars and rubber bands extremely efficiently. Dr. Kim is very thorough with every visit. She ensures to explain to me the rationale behind the updates made to my braces equipment throughout my journey. Her approach is very inclusive and helps me feel confident with the changes my teeth are making. They are two stars there at Baywood Dental Group!!!

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome experience. Everyone was really sweet and made me feel really comfortable. I love how they have their tvs on the ceiling so when you’re getting work done you have something to ease your mind. When leaving I was offered a goodie bag and I thought that was really sweet. I love the thought they put into these things. Would definitely recommend this dentist office. They were also fast and efficient.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for a cavity extraction. I come in they charge me $50.00 co-pay . This place is really slick about how they use there codes and stick it to the patient's. Then they wanted me to pay a $400.00 deposit for my extraction. I said why, it's covered. They can't extract the tooth today and there afraid of my sinus. I said I'll sign a waiver . I live on a fixed income and don't have that kind of money. They said we can refer you to orthodontist. I said that's fine. So in the mean time I am suffering with a cavity that flaring up. This place wasn't very busy when I walked in and I can understand why now.

The office is kid-friendly, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. We are so happy with the amazing results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an orthodontist for their child.

Negative experience: this place seemed like a nice place at first but it really isn’t . it’s a scam for your money. they try to find any little thing to charge you more money for their services. i wouldn’t recommend coming here if it’s your first choice. even with my insurance they try to charge for “x-rays” i was recommended this dentist through my insurance but this place still tried to charge me 400$ out of pocket for “ct scans” when it wasn’t even needed. my husband needed the same service but went to a different dentist and wasn’t charged a dime(we have the same insurance). i also needed wisdom teeth extractions and everything was fine up until it got closer to my appointment date & that’s when i get a call saying that i need to give them $250 for another “ct scan” when i came here for my first appointment, they charged me 50$ for my first set of “x-rays” so i dont understand why they want to much for x-rays& scans. it’s all just a scam for money. now i understand why this place looks so “bougie”

Negative experience: I had a very negative experience at Baywood Dental regarding their charges and policies. I visited on a Friday for a severe toothache, and after a brief examination and X-rays, the dentist immediately recommended a wisdom tooth extraction and root canal. Despite my pain, I was presented with a treatment plan that included an unnecessary CT scan and a bone graft—neither covered by my insurance, meaning I’d have to pay out of pocket. The details of the costs were barely explained, and I felt pressured to agree to these procedures just to get pain relief. After paying for the first phase, which included the scan and bone graft, I was booked for the extraction for the very next Tuesday. AND only after they collected funds was when they proceeded to perform the CT scan. I left feeling uneasy, I knew something felt off but had zero energy to question it or research any of it. Why would one need CT images to confirm a treatment that was clear as day with X-rays? Over the weekend, while managing significant pain, I realized I needed to review the treatment plan and the associated costs. I was started to feel some relief after 2.5 days of medication. I called their office on Monday morning, I tried to cancel my appointment and request a refund for the treatment that I had paid in advance. I was informed that I would lose my $400 deposit if I did so without a 48-business hour notice. This was impossible since my next appointment was booked just 48 hours in advance. Of course I was left with no choice then to move forward with the appointment. This was better than forfeiting $400. The lack of transparency and consideration for my situation made me feel exploited. I do appreciate their promptness in taking me in as quickly as they could. However, I see now that there was definitely an ulterior motive to that. My issue was taken care of but now I am out nearly $600 plus my co-pay of the other services rendered. Please pay full attention to their breakdown of cost and question everything. Of course it states that by signing you agree that the costs have been explained to you. DO BETTER BAYWOOD DENTAL!!!

Negative experience: Had a poor experience. Drove 2.5 hrs to hear what could’ve been a phone call. Management needs to take account for people travelling from afar and review their cases beforehand. This is not acceptable and should be improved. Otherwise, nice facilities, quite crowded and friendly staff

Fantastic experience: Baywood Dental is a very efficient and kind office. I received a lot of help in my process to get my wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Liu was very professional with the surgery making sure I was comfortable and safe the whole time.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best dental office I've ever been to. It's shocking they accept dentical. It's absolutely immaculately clean in there, I feel like you could eat off the floor. They have a fish tank, real plants in there, a Starbucks coffee dispenser, tea, fancy good smelling hand sanitizer, free nail files, mints, ect ect all in the Lobby. I swear I've never been to such a fancy dentist's office before. The staff are great too. The receptionists are professional and nice, they don't mess up your paperwork like most places do, and the assistants and the dentist were great as well. Very friendly people always willing to answer my questions. The surgeon was a bit rigid which made my anxiety about getting my wisdom teeth removed a bit worse, however, he was still professional, answered any question I had, and made sure I was okay. Absolute amazing place with amazing staff that I recommend to anyone!! ❤

Fantastic experience: Had another amazing visit at Baywood Dental with Angel and Dr Kim. They are so good at what they do. My son's teeth look absolutely wonderful. They are friendly and patient and take extra care to make sure they are gentle. Love the work here and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: So far, so good! I recently switched over my dentist to Baywood Dental and it is so much better than my previous. The front desk communication, the well decorated and clean office environment, and then of course the care (hygienist and dentist) - everything was better than expected. They even give you goodie bags at the end and appear to be very kid-friendly. I'm glad I found this office!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! If you miss your appointment due to sickness or serious injury they will not return your deposit, which is a significant amount. They don’t even care if you provide proof. The receptionist literally told me that they don’t care if you are in the hospital, if you don’t let them know about missing your appointment 48hrs ahead of time then you lose your deposit. They even went on to insist I go in for my treatment even though I had bronchitis. How is that safe?! They are drilling away at my teeth then I suddenly cough. What happens then?! This place has ridiculous policies. They only care about the money. I wish I would have recorded this conversation because it was ridiculous and probably hard to believe. Please be aware of this place and stay away.

Fantastic experience: Decided to switch to this office because of the good reviews they have and being the only high rated office in SCV and I can say I was extremely satisfied with the experience at this office. Everyone is very nice and professional. The Dr. Gives you her professional recommendation WITHOUT trying to upsell you like every other place in scv does. This is also the cleanest and nicest office I've been to. Looking forward to my future needs at this office.

Fantastic experience: I went to have my wisdom teeth removed about two weeks ago. I was very nervous about it. It turned out I was nervous for nothing. Dr. Liu was great. He told me what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and what kind of sounds I'd be hearing (if you've had your teeth removed, you know what I'm talking about). As he was performing the procedure he gave me an education about teeth. It was fun. Before I knew it, it was over. The man has skills. As always, the rest of the staff was flawless in attitude and performance; from the front office to the dental technicians. Thank you all. UPDATE: 11/21/23 I had my teeth cleaned today and I almost fell asleep. Let me explain. Izzy was so skilled and talented, that the cleaning was relaxing. She was so nice too. She answered my questions and gave me advice in a friendly manner. Kudos to Baywood Dental for hiring top notch talent. As always, the front office staff was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to see Dr. Sepi and her orthodontist team for 5 years! They have straightened out my smile and healed my dental anxiety. All of the staff members are kind and the waiting area is cute and equipped with a cappuccino maker. I highly recommend to people who get anxiety going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: So I came here to get a root canal and RAYMOND GRIGORIAN the Endodontist did a great job when he came in the office .very gentle and very understanding. Unfortunately I couldn't get the rest of the work done for a misunderstanding in the office with billing but in the end When I could finally get a hold of the dentist and owner Dr. Sepi Fatahi she resolved the billing issues that happened and explained thoroughly how they do there procedures and billing at their establishment. She took care of me and was very understanding and listened to my concerns. When I first came into the office to get examined she was very thorough and took the time to explain what was going on with my tooth. She's very knowledgeable.

Negative experience: I booked and an appointment for treatment at 9:00AM three weeks early and paid their stupid $200 deposit to book (no other offices does this practice). Fast forward two days prior to my appointment, they tell me the treatment is at 10 AM now. I told them I can't do it because I have another appointment at 11:00 AM (they told me treatment takes 1-1.5 hours). But they had the nerve to tell me I'll lose my $200 deposit then if I can't do the procedure at 10 AM. ...You guys push my appointment time back and want to force me to make a time I can't make? No thanks. I had to talk with a manager who gave me a refund but we could've just rescheduled and you guys could've kept my business. But instead, your staff REALLY wanted that $200 deposit?

Fantastic experience: Update: Dr.Sepi reached out to me regarding my first experience at Baywood and honestly returning to Baywood the second time was a completely different experience. They were so accommodating and really made an effort to keep my little one entertained. Dr.Sepi was also very informative and took the time to make sure I knew what to do at home as well. I will definitely be returning. I couldn't even make an appointment there without submitting full insurance information, which I did do. The day before my appointment I received multiple calls regarding submitting my patient forms and insurance in order for them to verify my insurance information which I did. The day of my appointment they spent almost an hour just going back and forth about my insurance which I've never had an issue with, I have pretty good insurance. I was just going for a cleaning, dental exam and X-rays, nothing that complicated but they asked me to pay in full while they figure out if the insurance covers cleanings(which they do). I found it unacceptable for them to be so insistent on verifying coverage prior to my appointment and then spend an hour going back and forth with the insurance only to ask me to pay in full upon arrival.

Positive experience: Best dentist office we have been to. I go here with my three children. Dr. Fatahi runs a very efficient practice. Show up at your scheduled appointment, check in, wait a few minutes and then you are called to get xrays and be placed in a room. Watch TV while you get your teeth cleaned or braces adjusted or whatever else you may be there for. In and out so you can still have a life. Can't say enough good things about this dental office.

Negative experience: A front office staff member called me multiple times in one day. The front office person was very unprofessional on each phone call. So I wrote a negative review on google because of her. Later that day, I received a voicemail from the same office staff person asking me "if I was interested in keeping my appointment based on my google review". So instead of addressing the unprofessional behavior of the staff member, you call the client and feel the need to confront them? I would not dare let anyone work in my mouth, that has front office staff that are that unprofessional.

Positive experience: Coming from a patient who did not like going to the dentist, I have to say how much I was put at ease. I needed a deep cleaning and what I thought would be painful wasn't. My dentist took her time to assure I was comfortable and relaxed, for that I am grateful. My teeth look better and the day after the cleaning there is no discomfort.

Positive experience: This is the first and only place I’ve taken my two year old. I can’t say not a good thing about the front office staff, but the dental assistants and dentists have been amazing! They are so sweet and professional. I cannot say the same for the unfriendly ladies they have in the front. Customer service is so big in my book, that a simple hello when patients came in would go such a long way for this place. For the back staff I give you guys 5 stars.

We went for my 5 year old autistic daughters checkup and both the dentist & assistant were so friendly, caring, and patient. I’m not one to post reviews or boast about businesses unless I actually mean it, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the care my daughter is receiving. But they were amazing.

Positive experience: I like this place so far, it’s been a year. I don’t feel like I’m being upsold too much, just a little bit. As someone who has seen firsthand the upsell at other offices and seen all those investigative journalism shows of dentists having a large variety of opinions on what to do about a problem that may or may not exist, I have a strong distrust for dentists. So it’s hard for me to love them, but so far I think it’s been reasonable. They are efficient, the office is a nice environment and Dr. Fatahi and the periodontist were both personable and reasonable in their recommendations. The hygienist I had is amazing, she is very thorough even if I am the last patient of the day. I appreciate you! Minus one star because every time I do have to do a dental procedure it costs so much I get depressed for the next couple months.

Fantastic experience: So happy I found Baywood Dental Group If Canyon Dental Group of Valencia hadn’t been the most unprofessional, rude, and unclean office I would not have found the most professional, kind, patient and clean dental office. I highly recommend Baywood Dental Group next to Panera Bread on McBean. The Dr. took the time to actually explain in detail what is recommended and found out that unlike Canyon Dental Grp wanting to extract 4 teeth and having me pay $900 for perio protect (which come to find out I did not need spend money on in the first place) Baywood Dental Group has scheduled me for one extraction with No sedation necessary. Baywood Dental Group has core values that every business should have, and so far they have met with one visit the following values that Canyon Dental Grp of Valencia lacks which are: HONESTY-RESPECT-LEADERSHIP-EXCELLENCE If you are looking for these key values you will Not find them at Canyon Dental Grp of Valencia. You will however find them at Baywood Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the office waiting for a cleaning and check up staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hygienist Christina did a wonderful job and very gentle but thorough cleaning. Took time to explain areas of concern and needed attention. Dr Fahtai gave me a thorough examination, unfortunately an X-ray showed some decay and will require a root canal and will need to get a crown. All in all the staff was excellent and very thorough and was so nice to feel a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Dr Aflaatuni was incredible with my 8 year old daughter. She needed fillings and a few teeth pulled. The whole time he was communicating with her and encouraging her. All the staff has been great every time I’ve come. I think staff and reception don’t get enough credit for setting the tone on how an office is received.
