Fantastic experience: After almost a year of dental work including 8 amalgam restorations, 2 old and cracked crowns replaced, 2 root canal therapy and 2 dental implants I am happy to say my teeth are everything I could hope for, pretty with a perfect bite! Fantastic experience: My teeth cleaning was a great experience. Friendly staff, well-informed and comfortable environment.

Positive experience: They have a very nice facility (though it is very close to some large power lines) and the staff are nice and and welcoming and informative in person. I love that they have a cone beam CT scan machine, which is somewhat rare to find. I like that they use ozone as a disinfectant and generally use less toxic ingredients than standard practice requires. The technology they use to identify recession is AI based - not making a judgement, just never encountered that before. They are generally more tech focused than any other practice I've visited, making it a point of pride to show the patient detailed scans and images of their mouth on a screen, which is considerate and somewhat rare. It's great that they take the whole throat health and function into consideration of oral issues (and just general health and wellness issues) and bring up the possibility of sleep apnea being a factor (they even offer sleep tests), which most dentists don't address further than recommending a retainer. The fact that they offer nutrition counseling and IV therapy speaks to the focus on holistic health, which is great. During the doctor's "exam" (more like a consultation) he never actually looked inside my mouth with his own eyes or put his hands inside to inspect in person, just analyzed the images taken. I guess he didn't want to inspect the tongue or other tissues in motion for some reason? Maybe they believe the image analysis alone is sufficient. (I hope they are able to adequately screen for oral cancer through images alone.) I was disappointed by the teeth clean I received (admittedly it was a substitute and not a regular hygienist). The polish was too abrasive for my taste (kind of felt like being sand blasted by that polishing machine). And the hygienist's touch was less delicate and precise than I prefer. I also had an issue with a receptionist not cancelling an appointment as directed over the phone. I wish they had a public facing email address, as I find that some things seem to get lost over the phone and I would prefer a record of correspondence. Overall, very pricey (but that's to be expected for a boutique, boujee practice). Some of the unique, specialist services probably justify the price but for regular oral hygiene maintenance I'll be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This clinic use time and resources very efficiently. I got a dental cleaning along a vitamin infusion while still in the examining dentistry chair and a bite adjustment all done in less than an hour.

Fantastic experience: Wow - this is the first time ever i walked into dental office and felt peace, energy of happiness and an experience that changed how i feel about the importance of health from the mouth first. The place is not just beautiful, it is cutting edge in quality, superior care and the complete systems for covering complete health needs. Fantastic experience: 5 Stars!!! ⭐ From the moment of arriving for my exam I knew I had found, what has been the best dental experience of my life thus far. I found got diagnosed with cavitations as they use a Cone Scan, which id been looking for a dentist who had this for years!! Although not exciting to learn i have 4 cavitations to correct, I felt gratified to finally find out! Plus the dentist and all of the staff were simply fantastic! The first leg of my Smile Body Journey back to health, began today, they let me know i had three major cavities to remove, in the root. I postponed my appointment for 3 months having to finally get a TFT tapping session from my partner to finally clear very deep fear. Thank you to him! I finally got through today to go through with the operation. From the moment I met the oral surgeon I knew I was great hands! The dental assistant was also wonderful, I felt so held, safe and supported, and cared for. Getting teeth out is not easy, but the three of us worked together as an amazing team, and since I'd cleared a lot of fear before hand with my partners TFT tapping, I was ready!! We got the teeth out!! And I have to say I feel vicortous, with the Stem cells from my blood placed over the healing patch a x the Ozone, this has bee. NEXT LEVEL dental experience!! They are able to pick up undetected infections with the Cone beam scan & are specialist in sleep apnea. Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic. The manager, Brenda, was extremely unprofessional and rude during my visit, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. On top of that, the clinic itself was noticeably dirty and poorly maintained — not what you’d expect from a healthcare facility I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements in both customer service and cleanliness. Patients deserve to feel respected and safe in a clean, welcoming environment.

Fantastic experience: Today, I had another amazing experience at Smilebody. I went in to fix my broken tooth, and Dr. Shawn took me to their IV center and gave me an ozone therapy, and afterwards took me to the red light therapy bed and I took advantage of all the benefits of their holistic treatments. Fantastic experience: I have had a traumatic experience while in the Military at a dental visit. Ever since then, I was reluctant to go. Several years later, I decided to finally do something about my missing teeth. Mainly due to the fact that I couldn't eat a lot of my favorite foods. Also the embarrassment of not being able to smile. I searched many different dental facilities including south of the border. Weighed the pros and cons. I made my decision and it was the perfect choice. Dr Ben is am awesome dentist and did a terrific job. He made me feel comfortable and thoroughly explained the entire process of the dental implant procedure. Today was my second follow up and everything is perfect. I have had nothing but compliments about my new smile and that is a wonderful feeling. Dr. Ben also has a great staff who always make me feel welcome. Looking forward to the third follow up. Good evening , I would like to enter a comment regarding my visit to Promenade Dentistry that I had today . My permanent set of dental implants have arrived and they were fitted this afternoon. It was completed in about an hour with no pain whatsoever. Awake the whole time. They look amazing. But the best part is now I can eat anything I like. I can not thank Dr. Ben and his remarkable staff enough. From the reception crew, the dental assistants who helped with the various procedures and of course the man himself Dr. Ben. I am and will be forever grateful for Promenade Dentistry changing my life and overall well being . Everything had to be just right. From the initial evaluation, the imaging, the preparation of the mouth and gums , the actual surgery, the healing process and finally the actual installment of the perfect permanent set of teeth. Fantastic experience: I had two root canal teeth that were both infected. One only had radiographic changes of infection. Silent. The other one had progressed to the point of having a gum boil. Dr, Ben extracted both diseased teeth. Today, four months later, he placed two zirconia implants. Both Melissa and Dr. Ben treated me well. They were continuing making sure I was okay and not uncomfortable. I elected to have only a local anesthetic. Dr. Ben said he thought I would be fine and he was right. I took two Advil on the drive home and really feel only a tiny bit of discomfort. I am grateful to have been cared for so well.

Fantastic experience: I love my visits to SmileBody! They take such good care of me and always take the time to do additional tests and examinations to rule things out and get to the root cause. I initially came to see Dr Ben because I had infected root canals that my conventional dentist was not addressing at all. After my first consult with Dr Ben, we had a treatment plan and extracted all infected teeth. Since then I’ve have many visits and have been treated by Dr Lindsey and many hygienists. They’re all amazing and well informed. You can tell the company culture is strong and everyone is on the same page about health. The new clinic is beyond what you’d imagine a dentists clinic to be. It’s full of state of the art equipment and its beautiful, serene environment. Can’t praise them enough!

Negative experience: I don't understand why I was made an appointment with a doctor that was not Dr. Shawn. The whole reason I even go to Promenade is solely to see him. Fantastic experience: When I came to see Dr Ben, it was after years of fear if dentists. From the age of 18, I had dental issues. I went to see dentists that had wine in their little fridge in the waiting room, laughing gas, novocaine and headphones. None of these things took the pain away. It got to a point that novocaine didn't take affect for hours after given. So I had teeth pulled and root canals done with no medication as it hadn't taken affect in time for the procedure. A couple hours later I was numb. I hated going to the dentist. I was terrified everytime I had to go. I ended up putting off going to the dentist till I had such a severe toothache, I had no choice. I also hated being upsold when I walked in. I had a toothache and I was put in a room to sell me on all the procedures I needed. I only wanted them pull the tooth as it was easier and I didn't have to pay for a root canal that caused my teeth to break into pieces anyway. I got to a point that I didn't go to the dentist at all and I had a mouth full of broken teeth. I finally got into Dr Ben and told him right off the bat, don't sell me or I'll leave and not come back. He couldn't have been nicer or more reassuring. I still didn't trust him because he is a dentist. He HEARD me. He didn't try to upsell me. He looked in my mouth and saw me shaking and understood. Rhis was just for an exam. He paused and just spoke to me to calm me down a bit. He didn't rush me or ever make me feel like I was only a means to an end, him making money. He took his time with me. I was terrified every time I went in. He set me up for removal of my broken teeth and remaining teeth, I had 7 teeth left. He promised no pain. I basically thought he was full of beans. He promised not to hurt me. I have to say I was amazed. Not only didn't he hurt me, I didn't hurt after having those teeth pulled. I couldn't understand how he did that, and if he could, why did I have to suffer for so many years. Every move he made I gripped the seat expecting pain. There was NONE. The staff is amazing and reassuring as well. They remember to ask about my Grandbabies so I can show them off. The back office is kind and funny and as comforting as they could get. So grateful for those that I met and took care of me. I adore them all. The best news of all is I have beautiful teeth and have made wonderful friends along the way. I'm not afraid anymore! Thank you Dr Ben and Staff.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ben! After years of dental issues and misdiagnosis.. I finally found someone who is getting to the root of the problem. He is also the only dentist to properly diagnose my husband. He has suffered the last 20+ years with horrible sinus problems along with the inability to sleep. He is about a month or so out of treatment and he has never slept better! Even the snoring is gone. Thanks again Dr. Ben for all you’ve done.

Fantastic experience: First visit to Smilebody. The place is very nice and the people were great, very helpful and friendly. The CT and X-rays were explained well so I could understand and ask questions. The dentist took his time to answer any questions and show me on the CT pictures what all the concerns were. Afterwards we sit down and discussed a plan for treatment. I look forward to getting things taken care of. Since I have no dental insurance I was offered several plans to cover the cost.

Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! I specifically went here to get this “3D cone” test they promoted. Yea it doesn’t exist, it’s just a CT scan and the ONLY reason they do it is to check for sinus infection. That’s what you are paying $300 for, a scan of your sinuses and a tour of their facility so they can tell you about their other scam services to take your money. Not to mention they ran 30 mins late after I had a 3+ hr drive to get there. They don’t take insurance and all they wanted to do during my appointment time was tell me that root canals are evil and they believe that teeth are organs. Which is 1) complete BS and 2) their alternative are MUCH more expensive implants. This place is designed to sell you bs pie, at extortionate prices, and not give a crap about you or your actual teeth along the way. Pick a REAL dentist and if you think you have a sinus infection go to your Dr and pay a fraction of the price for someone in network.

Fantastic experience: All the staff that I encountered during my first visit were very friendly and answered all my questions I felt very welcomed. The dental clinic was clean and orderly, the cone beam technician explained every rooms function which helped me understand some possibilities for my own dental treatment plan. Dr. Ben explained all scenarios regarding what my scans showed which in my case was a lot but after my consultation I felt confident that I was going to be in capable and professional hands . Negative experience: I purchased Invisaligns through this dentist. I checked in every four weeks but I had to point out to them that my teeth were not moving fast enough. They scanned me again and gave me new trays which just extended my time wearing Invisaligns but still didn’t work. My teeth are still quite crowded and when I called them to ask for resolution the receptionist said she would contact the doctor and billing specialist but I never heard back. I paid full price but got half results so I feel scammed. This dentist does not care about the quality of your treatment or their work they only care about getting your money.

Fantastic experience: Just had cavitation surgery. Dr. Shawn Javid and staff were great. No pain during surgery because of their oral sedation and nitrous oxide protocol. No pain next day. Except that first night, but no pain meds. We'll worth it. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Great place to receive dental care. Recently I had teeth extractions and implants done. Their 3D crown scanner is amazing. Dr. Lindsay is incredibly, she explained every step as she was preping the tooth for the crown. Worked very quickly with minimal discomfort. Good communication with assistant. Dr Shawn, Jose, and his team are very knowledgeable and work well together to make every procedure as comfortable as possible. They use the state of the art technology....the use of laser for teeth extraction and ozone helps to minimize swelling and pain. Hence, less medication to take after the procedures. I'm grateful that I found this Smilebody.

Negative experience: I’m appalled to hear that y’all didn’t pay your vendor, Liz Dean at your opening event for her charcuterie boards. Not only did she shop, prep, prepare and perform, whoever this Lindsey girl is at your office has treated Liz with massive disrespect… saying y’all were only going to pay her $200? It’s $20pp for charcuterie boards at a 200+ person event like that. Liz’s charcuterie boards were a big part of your event that I remember most. I had just met Liz at your event, she was super kind and very helpful bartending and keeping the food looking nice…. The word is out about how scrupulous your company has been in not paying her, gaslighting her, sending back and forth emails and not being good humans by paying the vendors especially Liz who showed up and supported you and your new establishment I remember also your staff not being that friendly or welcoming either. I was just shocked to hear this news about not paying Liz on Facebook. The truth will always set you free. I definitely won’t be a new customer here, based on multiple things I experienced on your opening day. And, knowing you don’t take care of your vendors in a respectable way.

Negative experience: ⭐ I was begged by Smilebody’s Marketing Manager, Lindsey, to create a charcuterie table and bartend for Smilebody’s grand opening event—with just one day’s notice. Shockingly, they had not ordered or confirmed any food for their 200-guest event scheduled for the following day at noon. Despite the impossible timeline, I went above and beyond, even creating a custom chalkboard sign for the grazing table that read, “Thank you for coming! Love, @mysmilebody.” Despite delivering more than what was agreed upon, I was never paid for my products or services. When I followed up, Lindsey repeatedly changed her story and ultimately failed to ensure I was compensated. It has now been three months of frustrating emails with no resolution. To make matters worse, during the event, I was accosted by Dr. Ben—whom I did not know at the time—who abruptly and aggressively asked, “Aren’t you supposed to be working? People are pouring their own drinks.” His tone was threatening and accusatory. I was shocked but remained professional, calmly explaining that I was managing both the bar and the grazing table and had just finished replenishing and refreshing the food. Without another word, he scoffed and walked away. Despite this unprofessional behavior, I stayed until the end of the event to avoid causing a scene by packing up my catering platters and table decor mid-event. Lindsey assured me I would be paid the following day, yet three months later, I have received nothing but excuses. They say the true measure of a person is how they treat ‘the help’—it reveals their real character. And if this is how they handle business transactions, I’d be seriously concerned about their ethical standards in patient care—especially after witnessing Dr. Ben repeatedly communicate with staff through scoffing, sarcasm, and storming off. Included are photos I took of the charcuterie table I created and maintained in pristine condition for the entire event from 12-5 PM.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and caring facility. Staff members are pleasant, polite and very proficient. Since my first visit they remember what time of day I prefer my appointments and follow up accordingly. The dentist spends a good amount of time going over the condition of all teeth, not only the one that is the visit for. Explains everything without rushing. It is a good place to be.

Negative experience: The Facility is clean and nice, however, the team there oversell procedures not covered by insurance. They also only accept one insurance company and all others are 'out of network'. My Fillings came out within 5 years and then I had to have a root canal (I mentioned pain but was told nothing was wrong) the tooth was rotting from under the filling.

Fantastic experience: Took my son (4yrs) in for the first time yesterday. Everyone from the front desk girls, to the dental assistant, the dentist, and the lady that talks about treatment plans was very kind and welcoming. My son was not scared at all and he loved the dentist after he was done! They were great with him. It feels really good to be able to take my son somewhere with holistic practices included. now I’ll be next to visit for myself!

Fantastic experience: This was probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had! And, the first time I’ve had, my dental health explained to me in relation to my entire body health and how they affect each other. Everyone here is so friendly, but even more important-so passionate about it, and love what they do! Every treatment is done with relation to how it affects your entire body, and much better ways to help you heal than typical antibiotics typically prescribed. Fantastic experience: Best Holistic Dentist in So Cal. When I first decided to remove my root canal and search out a holistic dentist that believed root canals were bad for you I first tried two more local practices. Couldn’t get thru at all to one doctor and then they canceled the appointment I walked in and made and never called me back to reschedule. The other was super rude when they finally responded after weeks of calling and emailing. They didn’t want to answer questions in a consult and told me to do my own research before I made an appointment. So I finally broke down and called the office that was an hour drive from me. The new patient receptionist (Grace?) was the sweetest most helpful woman and her service alone got me to make the drive. After that Dr Javid was very knowledgeable and has been super awesome and kind throughout the removal of my root canal w an implant and another implant from removing a mercury filled baby tooth. Honestly the whole staff is fabulous. The coordinator was very helpful with financing. I could not be more happy with the work and staff. AND the best part is after removing my root canal I feel so much better. I have tried many things in the years since my health started to deteriorate and this was finally IT. It was my root cause 100%. They basically saved my life and I will be forever grateful ❤️

Fantastic experience: I was just as impressed with the facility as I was with Dr. Ben and Dr. Shawn Javid's lecture at the 2024 Healthspan Summit in Palos Altos. Both Doctors are extremely passionate and committed to healing peoples' illnesses that arise from their dental issues. Their stand for educating everyone on the benefits of holistic whole person dental care in beyond inspiring. It is well worth the 2-hour drive to be a patient here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shawn is the finest surgeon I have ever encountered for any procedures. I have been his patient for a considerable time and will always make the effort to travel, regardless of my location, to ensure that he is the only one who handles any of my dental business. Lynda is undoubtedly the best at coordinating appointments and possesses extensive knowledge. She is incredibly attentive, very compassionate, and consistently thorough in everything she does. This practice is not typical; it is what I would describe as world-class.

Positive experience: I’ve been going for years. The new offices are nice and the people were pleasant. But the quality of care has gone down and the price has gone way up. It might be time to find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe how fortunate I am to have found Smilebody! I have learned so much about oral health and feel like I’m in incredibly good hands with the entire staff. They are all so pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I searched for a holistic dentist to remove a root canal that two “regular” dentists refused to remove because “we don’t extract healthy teeth!” Since when is a root canal considered a healthy tooth? Anyway, I had it for less than a year and it had been bothering me since day one. Dr. Shawn did not hesitate to not only remove it but to teach me why root canals are terrible. I was so relieved to find out my discomfort wasn’t just in my head. The day of the procedure I was sedated, the root canal was removed, an implant was placed, and the procedure was absolutely painless. Today, (about 4 months later) I had the crown inserted which was another painless procedure, not to mention the tooth is a perfect match to my own teeth! They also just opened a new office and it is beautiful! I am now a customer for life!

Fantastic experience: The new location is awesome. It’s spacious and inviting. It has an open floor plan with bright lighting throughout the facility. The front staff and accounting staff is polite and friendly. The waiting area is very comfortable. Multiple same-day, on-site dental services are provided with state-of-the-art equipment. The new dental treatment chair was most comfortable. The dental hygienists are professional and good at their job. For almost a decade I have received excellent care and service from Dr Ben and Dr Shawn, so I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: The new facility is gorgeous! Unfortunately, more focus was spent on showing me the new facility than caring for me as a customer…with no explanation concerning the lengthy delay, nor checking me out after finally being seen. UPDATE: I received a call explaining the issue and offering an apology. Step 1 to fixing a problem. I am much appreciative and hope this negative truly can be turned into a glowing positive success story.

Fantastic experience: Overall good experience. If you need complex work, they work with other companies to provide payment assistance. Update 9/20-Always the strongest customer service I've seen. Kind of contemplating switching dentists permanently. Always a pleasure. The dental hygienist that worked on me was efficient with lighting precision.

Fantastic experience: I was scared because of some bad reviews that were posted, but the whole staff and Dr Ben were all very professional and courteous. Although the experience of having a tooth extracted wasn’t fun at all. I’m glad I chose promenade/smilebody Holistic to do the work. I would recommend them to my friends and family any day.

Negative experience: I recently visited this holistic dental office and was quite disappointed with some aspects of my experience. While the dentist and most of the staff were friendly and professional, there were a few things that didn’t align with the holistic approach they promote. Firstly, I was surprised to see candy and donuts available in the front office. Now, it wasn’t available to patients as it was behind the front desk counter but both times I have visited the office, they were there. It seems quite contradictory to offer sugary treats in a place where patients are encouraged to make healthy, holistic changes to their lives. Additionally, the front desk lady, Rita, was very condescending and unpleasant. Her attitude made the visit uncomfortable and left a bad impression. I also called the office several times and Rita told me that someone named Estele would get back to me to schedule my treatment, it has been several weeks now and 3 calls yet no one has returned my call. It's a shame that these issues overshadowed what could have been a great experience, especially considering how wonderful the dentist was. I hope they can address these inconsistencies and improve their front desk service to better align with their holistic philosophy.

Fantastic experience: I'm a believer in the holistic approach to my dental health. Dr ben and his staff were incredible today. His assistant, ashley, is extremely intuitive and skilled at her job. A very calming presence today while my tooth was getting extracted. Dr. Ben is one of a kind and very passionate about helping people. Fantastic experience: July 2024: I went to Smilebody Dental (formerly Promenade) for my amalgam replacements. Here's how it went: I checked in, I sat in the exam room chair, I was given a powder under the tongue, I talked to Dr. Lindsey who was to perform the procedure, I was dressed with protective materials, I went to sleep, I woke up with my amalgams replaced. NO PAIN, NO DISCOMFORT. It was like a visit to the spa. Dr. Lindsey was thorough with her answers to my questions, very friendly, very professional. I recommend Smilebody highly. Feb. 2024: I found Promenade Dental by searching for a mercury-safe dentist. I am going to have my mercury fillings replaced and went there for a consultation. The staff was very friendly and attentive to me, both in the waiting room, and in the exam rooms. Dr. Shawn was friendly, professional, an obvious expert in my dental issues. They were to be the first dental office that I interviewed for the amalgam replacements, but they are now the only office. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience.

I feel better already after an initial visit, and feel grateful Holistic Dentistry-Promenade is in Santa Clarita Valley. It took me awhile to find an awesome dentist after my dentist of 33 years retired. I'm glad I found this dental practice. The dental staff, as well, is pleasant, helpful, and the lobby or waiting room is very comfortable. There is a coffee station. Very wonderful dentist because my smile is even improving with invisaligners from this office.

Fantastic experience: I took my grandmother here for an appointment recently and was highly impressed. The office is gorgeous and well kept. The front desk people were wonderful and knew exactly who she was when she walked in. The Dentist and his assistants were all wonderful to her and I appreciated that he introduced himself to me as well. They all knew her by name and were genuinely caring about her recent health with her surgery. Could not say enough good things about this place. I’m very happy she is in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I hate the dentist... Although I'm glad I have them, I hate teeth. I don't like the sound, I don't know what they're made of or how they grow from my head. But what I love are the people at this dentist office! Always kind and helpful with scheduling. Rose always wants to know how she can brighten my smile and Linda let's me text her directly for help! If the office staff is any indication of how the doctors are, let it be said that this holistic (as natural as possible) service that the dentists practice is more than caring, comforting and kind. These doctors are doing what is best for our health at a cost that is manageable. I think they see that caring for more patients at a good price is more helpful than less customers at higher prices. Truly helpful.

Negative experience: Formerly known as Promenade Dentistry has not changed, though they have changed its name. They only accept one insurance carrier, want to over-subscribe services, and bill for services that should be covered by Insurance. They overcharge for services and bill you for the difference the insurance does not cover. I had 4 fillings which 'popped out' when cleaning my teeth at home. Two had to go to a root canal. I feel they did not clean the infection well enough and put the filling on top which my tooth then rotted from within. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the most beautiful and amazing dental experience of my life! Literally! From the initial call with Grace to the front desk, the initial overview with Jose the tech to the consult with Dr.Ben, the entire team was very nice and well informed. Dr. Ben was literally speaking my language. Taking care of your teeth is taking care of your body because everything is connected and that was the approach I was looking for. Dr. Ben provided insight on a few concerns I had and he literally addressed one while I was there for the consultation, keeping in mind that it was free. To me they represent modern dentistry with a team that is engaging and innovative while maintaining a holistic approach to dentistry. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Holistic Dentistry by a friend who is very particular about her health care. I completely trust her judgment as I know she is one to do research on something so important as her health. From the moment I called to see if they could help me, they showed me nothing but kindness. I have been avoiding the dentist as the reality of my situation seemed too much for me. It was easier to just ignore it. Making the call was difficult and going to the appointment was even more difficult. They were so understanding and explained everything very well. I would recommend this place to anyone who is having teeth issues. I’m loosing bone in my jaw and I was told dentures would be my only option by another dentist office. This place has given me hope that is not the only option for me. Can’t wait to start my journey for implants and being able to smile again!
