Negative experience: Terrible. Do not go here. I visited a few years ago. The dentist was not from Texas and just looking to make quick money. Told me I had 10 teeth that needed worked on, immediately. I decided to get a second opinion because my teeth looked great and were not bothering me. 10 TEETH!!! I have not had 1 filling since being at the new dentist. No root canals, crowns. This dentist office is money hungry and predatory. They only care about being able to bill to drill your teeth away.

I’ve always passed by this place and it was in network and i am so glad that I changed dentists. Dr. Johnston and his team are amazing. You can tell they all really enjoy what they do and work together very well. Definitely give off close family vibes. Dr. Johnston answered all my questions and concerns. Was very thorough in his explanations of things and worded them in ways the average Joe could understand. Best of all he didn’t sell me any snake oil. I have definitely found my new dentist. Positive experience: Our son has been going to Total Dental & Orthodontics in Taylor for about a year for braces. The staff has been great and the Doctor and his staff visit from base location out of Coppers Cove have been just as accommodating. We knew upfront they visit this location on specific days and setting appointments is really easy knowing that. The office staff has been great with any questions. Dr. is efficient and pretty quick at each appointment, we have seen or been treated by 3 hygienist on Dr. L's team, all very nice. We found them through our insurance data base and it was a great find. We highly recommend going to Taylor Total Dental and Orthodontic for braces. The Orthodontist and our regular dentist have been able to work well so the braces have progressed smoothly for our son. That fifth star will be there on last visit for sure at the rate we recieve such great service. By far one of best offices to call and get questions answered when we started the braces process. Hollis for the win.

Positive experience: Well it took an hour and all I got was X-rays and a quick exam. Then I was told I had to make another appointment to get my teeth cleaned. WHAT? So it's going to take 2 hours, not including drive time, for my annual. Seems like that's something you should tell people before they arrive.
