Fantastic experience: Dr. Christy and his staff are extremely welcoming and professional. Dr. Christy explained his concerns to me quite clearly and my questions were answered. His staff handled my insurance claims promptly and even communicated with my dental office in New York to access my records without me having to be directly involved. This made my initial emergency appointment that less stressful. I really appreciated that.

Fantastic experience: I was pleased with my experience at River Oak Dental for my biannual visit to the Hygienist. Temis took extra care & was enjoyable to converse with during the exam. Note, I was impressed because this was the first time in my life, I'm a senior, whereby the Hygienist (Temis) wore the same type magnifying glasses the Dentist utilizes. She noticed new issues others may have not observed. I also met with new owner Dr. Marc, which I can only describe as outstanding. Fantastic experience: Dr. Christy is amazing! He is attentive, personable, and does great work. Every dental hygienist that has worked with me there (and there have been three) have been wonderful. They are all very accommodating and ensure you feel as comfortable as possible. The front office staff are always so kind and welcoming. Billing is even pleasant and is very thorough so no one leaves unsure of cost of care. I moved from TX about 9 months ago and the cost for a root canal and crown was 50% of the cost at River Oak Dental than my last dentist, with much better quality of work. As someone who has a lot of anxiety regarding the dentist due to past experiences, I am so grateful for River Oak Dental’s staff as a whole!

Fantastic experience: AMAZING experience. I was a new patient and was treated with the most incredible care. From the initial phone call with April, I was immediately put at ease. Kate was fantastic with following up on my insurance. The efficiency, teamwork and amazing attention to detail resulted in an extremely pleasant and smooth check in process at my first visit. When I first arrived, I was greeted warmly by Kate and April. They are such a joy and a great example of great patient concierge care. I was immediately taken back by the hygienist, Temis, where I received probably the best cleaning I’ve had in my life. Temis has wonderful bedside manner. She’s extremely educated in oral health and did an excellent job with educating me. I learned a lot from her during my time with her. She’s engaging and truly passionate about her patients. Magali, the dental assistant was a gem as well. She was personable, friendly and knowledgeable at her profession. I felt very comfortable and at ease. Dr Christy was fantastic. You can see how much he cares for his patients within seconds. He is honest, extremely knowledgeable and a great educator on oral health. He explained the treatment needed in great detail and took the time to ensure that I fully understood what was needed. His bed side manner was excellent, his friendly personality immediately put me at ease and I am fully confident and comfortable in his care. April was thorough and efficient with reviewing and explaining my treatment plan estimated out of pocket and estimated insurance payment. She ensured I fully understood which provided me with great financial clarity. Kate was very thorough and pleasant at checkout and ensured I had all the info I needed for my next appointments. The office was beautiful, extremely clean and well kept. You can really see how much of a great job they do here with providing excellent care in a state of the art office. Overall, I am extremely lucky to have found this office. Although I work in the dental field, I am still a nervous patient. However, after my first visit today I am excited for my upcoming appointments. I was truly amazed by the efficiency of the team. This is the office to go to for your dental needs. :)

Fantastic experience: I have been going to River Oak Dental for over 4 years. I go twice to three times a year. The staff is very profressional, they listen and adjust your treatment especially sensitivity during cleanings. I get regular x-rays and we monitor all the trouble spots I have. If you pay for car washes you should be maintaining your teeth. The new owner is fantastic as well, as you get to work with many folks on your overall teeth health for the long term.

Fantastic experience: This has to be the best dentist office I have ever been to!! I arrived as a walk in new patient with a dental emergency and they got me right in. The whole staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. Dr. Christy took the time to go over my issues (I had a root canal) and explained everything in detail as well as made sure i was comfortable and not experiencing any pain during the procedure. I Would highly recommend this facility to anyone, even worth the drive if you're not in Palm Bay!

Fantastic experience: Updated 10/26/2024 Dr. Christy is now the dentist at River Oak Dental. He is friendly and checked my me out after the cleaning. The office is still very friendly and punctual. I continue to receive the same good care that I have grown used to. Updated 11/4/2023 Dr. Marshall has been my Dentist for two years now. I continue to be very impressed with the thoroughness of the cleanings and attention to my dental condition. The entire office is very friendly and knowledgeable about my history. I see the Dr. Marshall every visit and she reviews my progress since my previous visit and monitors my oral health. I continue to be very impressed with the care I receive here. I had my initial visit with Dr. Marshall at River Oak Dental yesterday. This is a great friendly office for through comforting dental care. My initial visit was 1.5 hours with Dr. Marshall and her assistant Khadijah getting to know me and my full medical and dental backgrounds. They both made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They explained everything they observed to me very clearly so that I always knew what it meant to my dental health. After we were finished Dina gave me a written report of the recommended treatment plan that included the cost associated with each item. There was no pressure to schedule anything and they seemed willing to do things when I was ready. Krista cleaned my teeth. She was very friendly and gentile. She also told what was coming next and made sure I was comfortable and ready to go on with the next step. They have a nice attractive office, and everything is very clean, neat and comfortable. I’m sure that I will be returning to them for my dental care for many years.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with the modern Dental technology that was used on me it was painless effective. The dental insurance worked out for me and saved me some money. The new dental assistant did an excellent job, it was obvious to me that she has a lot of previous experienc, you are lucky to have her on your team.

Negative experience: First time I’ve been to River Oaks since Dr. L. Marshall sold it. I had my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist was okay. I had no X-rays since I had them in January, nor did the dentist come in which I thought rather odd since the dentists always checked my teeth after they were cleaned. I was charged $165.00 plus they wanted me back in four months even though my teeth and gums are in excellent shape. I feel that the $165.00 was excessive for a simple teeth cleaning. Needless to say, I will be finding another dentist.

He came and stood behind me the entire visit. It is important to me to have an initial face to face introduction. I spoke with another patient who had the same concerns. Fantastic experience: I recently needed minor oral surgery inside my cheek and assumed I'd need an oral surgeon. However, I was thrilled to learn that Dr Marshall was highly skilled in this area of dental health, too. The entire procedure took less than 10 minutes, and never felt any pain. Fantastic experience: I saw our new dentist, Marc A. Christy, for a dental emergency this past week (07/11/24), before the office had fully transitioned, and staff were on holiday. I needed a great deal of work and it’s been done in a totally pain-free environment today. I went to several dentists in SC, and I have gone to a few dentists around Malabar and Palm Bay before I found Dr. Marshall, and I am so glad I did find her. EDIT: I have been seeing Dr. Marshall for almost four years now, and she is still the best dentist ever, and I have seen many dentist in my life due to my many dental problems. She is the sweetest, most caring and patient person I have ever met.

Fantastic experience: It is always a pleasant visit at Dr. Marshall’s office. All the staff is so friendly. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Negative experience: I feel extremely misled by this dental office. My husband and I received estimates for our expected amount to be paid by us prior to work performed. The estimates were completely inaccurate. Now we have an unexpected 1.2k bill from what delta dental insurance didn't cover. In addition to the amount we already paid its close to 2k. The work performed was 5 routine fillings total.

Fantastic experience: They got me in right away and I had pretty much zero discomfort. No more than from a cleaning. And they had to put in a filling so big they had to drill out two old fillings and the cavity! I'm surprised I still have a tooth, but they managed to save it.
