Fantastic experience: Office staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Dr is very good and thorough and thoughtful. Informed me every step of the way. Highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Had a crown done, the dentist and the assistant to the event, we both very rough. They were pressing too hard on my lips and gums. It hurt where it didn’t need to hurt.

Fantastic experience: I was so scared to go when I haven't been to the dentist in years. The receptionist staff was wonderful and were very welcoming when I came in. I noticed that the other patients in the waiting room seemed to have a great relationship with them, so that was nice to see. I was taken back promptly. Everyone who worked on me were so nice. They even were able to fit me in for a deep cleaning right afterwards! I had been quoted thousands of dollars of work from the last two dentist offices, and I was quoted much lower. I cried because I can afford to get my teeth fixed now. My teeth already look so good after my cleaning and what they taught me. Im not embarrassed to smile and its only been one visit! I cant wait to go back to see the changes to my teeth! Who ever would have thought you'd be excited to go back to the dentist! They were very catering to me when I let them know I have anxiety. Thank you so much !

Negative experience: Service members or those using TRICARE dental, stay away! My experience with this practice has been absolutely awful. Take your business elsewhere, they can’t even bill you correctly. Their billing department’s unprofessional manner is baffling. If you take your business here you run the risk of them improperly billing your insurance, trying to get you to foot the bill, then threatening to stop pursuing the claim to force you to collections, despite the issues all stemming from their office’s incompetence lol. Do yourself a favor and find another provider. I’m sure the doctors are great here but the people running their billing department will waste hours of your time, improperly charge you after their own mistakes and be uncooperative and combative through the process. Not worth the time, they don’t value your business, take it somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: I had my dental visit for a cleaning Dec 30, 2025. As usual, Jessica performed my cleaning and as usual she did a great job cleaning my teeth. I had my dental visit Thursday Aug 21st and my review is Jessica is the best hygienist around. I had a 3rd visit on Nov 21st to replace an old silver filling. This time I met Dr Marcus and his dental assistant. His dental assistant is a pleasure to speak with and is very experienced. Dr Marcus is the best. He totally cares about your comfort and ensured I was comfortable. He has a great bedside manner. I only have the nicest compliments for this dental practice. I had my 2nd visit on Oct 2 2023 this place is great. very friendly and well organized. I had my 2nd appointment on Oct 2 2023 and I still maintain this dental practice is #1! Jessica took care of me today cleaning my teeth and Dr Morris is great too. Dr Morris will be refilling a 30 year old filling that cracked. If you need to see a dentist or get your teeth cleaned this practice is the one you should go to! The people who work here are tremendously skilled and very nice. Monique (hygentist) and Song Mao, DDS took care of me today, 2/16/2023. I spent 90% of the time with Monique who did a tremendous job cleaning my teeth, taking, x-rays, etc. Monique is excellent but I heard all their staff is excellent. You can't go wrong here. Make an appointment. You'll be happy you did.

Negative experience: Didn’t ask permission to give and bill services on my child while I was in another room for my appointment. Didn’t check medical history on my child first. Gave fluoride without asking. Won’t produce the ingredients list as requested. When I discovered that they gave fluoride to my child in an other room, without asking me first, the front desk said they would not bill insurance but they did anyhow. Refused to give me their line item charges, have not given us X-rays as requested now 6 times. Each time I’ve requested, Front desk Says they will do it the same day and never does.

Negative experience: Dr. Morris and the dental staff at River Breeze are great. They are not a full service dental provider, as I had to go elsewhere for a root canal but they did do the crown for me. It’s a clean facility and well staffed. However, the administrative side of the business has a lot to be desired. In short, they lie to their patients. In February (it’s now October) I had several things done to my teeth at River Beeeze, including the crown. I have two insurance policies from major, well known insurers. My primary insurance was billed and they paid the practice. However, River Breeze refuses to contact my secondary insurance to resolve an issue concerning payment. We are at our wits end. We have called River Breeze numerous times and visited just as many, trying to get them to contact the insurer. We asked for and received a copy of my charges and will most likely have to file the claim ourselves. We found errors on the supplied documents (policy # and group# both wrong) and pointed these out by phone to River Breeze, to which they said “well, that’s probably the issue”. Our insurer logs and records all phone calls from patients and providers. Each time this practice has said they would mail or phone my insurance company, they apparently did not. I know as of my last conversation with the insurer, they have not received any contact from River Breeze, even though they have said numerous times that would handle this. Therefore, the office staff of this practice has earned this one star review. Please note, it’s now been 8 months and still, no claim has been filed. During the last conversation with my insurance company, I asked them the best way to resolve this, to which they said the provider simply needs to call them. The procedures I had done are indeed covered as verified by phone. We are not blasting names on this review because everyone has a boss and I’m unsure where the fault lies, but we have a log of everyone we’ve discussed this with. If you have insurance and need dental work ….. go someplace that will take care of you after the sale, so to speak. That’s not River Breeze Dental.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mao is great. She's very gentle. I hate getting dental work done but I must give Nicki, the assistant, credit for making my crown procedure much better than I feared it would be. She's very caring and great at making sure I didn't struggle with the water flow during the procedure. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I truly enjoyed River Breeze Dental Care today 10/25/23. It was bitter sweet to see all the old faces have gone however the new faces were sweet and kind. There customer service was awesome, easy, and friendly! The dental hygienist Monique was top the line friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough! You would have thought Monique and I knew each other forever because she was real and forthcoming about the things I needed. I truly love this dental office! It's been 15 years at the same place. Yes, we meet new people but the service never depreciate they only further elevate!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I had an appointment with River Breeze Dental on Babcock Street. The office staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The Hygienist Angie was just awesome took a gazillion pictures of the inside of my mouth with all kinds of new gadgets . She was gentle in the cleaning of my teeth . Dr. Mao found a couple issues but we can fix or repair. I recommend this office for dental work .

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. The office manager is a LIAR. Just know that if you go here and they say they are going to do some extra x-rays for them to have at no charge that they WILL CHARGE YOU. They then act like you are the crazy one for thinking there was no charge. Do not listen to the hygienists as they are the ones telling you this and then the manager who thinks she is all high and mighty talks nasty to you. I am going to comment this information on every platform I can :) I hope they enjoy the money I paid them because I am not TRASH and they obviously needed it more than I did.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Song Mao, is truly a good and caring dentist, she has worked on my lower denture, fitting it perfectly with my bite and gum lines, this may seem normal, however when you wanna chew and eat. Positive experience: This is my third visit to this location. I had my care diagnostic and my deep cleaning services done in February. Both visits were pretty good. Monique was my hygienist and she was pretty good. Professional and to the point. I had a visit on Thursday. I came in I was asked if there were any changes with my insurance. I said not. The office was empty. I was the only one there. I was taken care of by another hygienist. Who was sweet but would not stop talking throughout the entire cleaning. Kept trying to tell me about some other preventive work. I explained that I had paid $250 for my deep cleaning in February. I can't afford another $500. Once I was done and went to pay my co-pay. The lady said $164??? My insurance covers cleaning.. why $164. Oh you have insurance . Yes is in my records. You asked me when I came in. After doing whatever needed to be done my copay was $32. So you were trying to overcharge me by $132??

Fantastic experience: Dr. Morris is the ⭐️BEST⭐️ doctor I have ever gone to in my life! He is kind and patient and really cares about meeting the needs of his patients. I travel almost an hour to see him! Also, I would like to recognize his staff who is top notch and super friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Both doctor and other medical staff great. I was upset with them not using nitrous gas when asked and next time they will do that. I get very anxious when have a root canal. It cost more, but I don't care. The checkout staff is my main issue. They don't apply your insurance correctly. An example is a night guard is $500 and my insurance pays for 80 percent of it and they charged me $500 and said if insurance pays it can remain on my account as a credit. I don't like that policy.

Fantastic experience: I have seen 3 others doctors about my teeth and all they could tell me was you are going to be in a lot of pain here in the near future due to having very little enamel left on your teeth from grinding all these years. Not one came forth with an affordable solution. Then i met Dr. Mao here at River Breeze and she verified the same thing the other doctors did with the exception of offering a very affordable solution of filling all of my teeth. This has lasted me for 2 -3 years. Now she has giving me a way to have all of my teeth caped and partials made both upper and lower for a very affordable price considering dental prices these days. I can now relax knowing i will be pain free and able to chew for the rest of my life.

Negative experience: The staff was friendly both in the front and in the back. But Dr Mao was not gentle at all. She hurt when she gave the shot of novacain and definitely hurt when she pulled the tooth.

Fantastic experience: Hello RBDC! I just had my first appt. for a good cleaning. I met with Angie, she did all the work yesterday. I have a MAJOR fear of the dentist. Bad experiences in the past. I can't believe I'm writing this. Angie explained how much thinks have changed in Dentistry. She was totally right! I HAD NO PAIN AT ALL!! Also I was wide awake. Fantastic experience: I lost a crown on Wednesday. Went to office next morning. Got me in later that day, (could have seen me immediately) but I had another appointment. Saw me , took impression and will have new crown by Tuesday. Impressive

Negative experience: I was a new patient who made an appointment at 9:30 in the morning. I was called a few days before my appointment to ask me to come in between eight and 830 to ensure that I get a cleaning since I was a new patient. I said I have to go to work for a short meeting, and I’ll be right over after, probably before 8:30. I showed up at 8:20am. for my 930am appointment. The front desk who I spoke to originally acted irritated as if we didn’t have the conversation on what time I was coming in. Then proceeded to roll her eyes at me because I didn’t fill out the paperwork online and told me it was going to take me 30 minutes, which took me seven minutes to fill it out by the way. And to be quite frank, the only one that should’ve been rolling their eyes was me at her for giving me an attitude at a place of business that she works at. As far as my hygienist, she was great. The dentist was great, so I will be back. And I did mention my irritation to the situation because I deal with the public all day, and it was stated she was new. So my feedback would be maybe retraining, the new girl on customer service.

Negative experience: Insurance covers routine cleanings and fillings. They did a periodontal disease check and said i need a deep cleaning. I also had cavities that needed to be filled but they disregarded that and focused on periodontal. I went elsewhere and was told that is a common scam and my gums weren't bad. Bill was >$1000 with insurance.

Fantastic experience: Just left the office. Have got to say that I am quite pleased with the level of care and attention to detail I receive here. I just had my new crown installed. In previous experiences with other dentists, the new tooth installed fits and feels like a misaligned brick in my mouth. Generally I can count the replacement being placed in and taken out in what seems like 13 times before it feels even marginally passable. Not so with Dr. Mao's people! It dropped in perfectly the first time without any need for grinding and polishing! The good doctor and her staff are very accommodating and friendly. I will be telling all of my friends.

Dr. Morris and his staff are caring, informative, efficient, provide options, and don't push for the extreme treatments and unnecessary upsells that have become so common in dentistry. They seem genuinely focused on my dental health and longevity as a client. The work they've done so far is superb. Very happy.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous, but the dental hygienist Ashley was very gentle. She explained the different tool she will be using. When everything was completed she told me how to brush & floss correctly. The visit was not as bad as I expected

Negative experience: I went to River breeze dental as I got a card in the mail saying for $129 you get a CLEANING and exam and x-rays which I thought was really good price. The main reason I wanted to go was to get a cleaning done as I hadn't in a while. Well they took the x-rays and then had the hygienist come in and poke anbout 40x at my gums, calling out numbers and said she had an opening for a cleaning later in the day. So I said I would come back. However when I got to the check out. They told me if I were to get the cleaning that it would be about $700+ because they had to do scaling and other things prior to it. I told them I just wanted a regular cleaning and they said they couldn't do it without the other things being done. At that time I knew I was scammed. I didn't get the cleaning and all I got was an itemized write up telling me I had to have about $6000 worth of work done. What a racket… . So although the staff was nice, the card I got was absolutely totally misleading and I got scammed and I will not go back there again. I’m hoping this will save others from going there and wasting two hours of time just for them to tell you they aren’t going to do the cleaning unless you pay them an outrageous amount of money. I wonder how many people actually get a cleaning, my guess is not many. Oh, on a positive note, they did takeoff $19 from the bill for the price of the cleaning. $19 for cleaning? Sounds pretty fishy to me….

Negative experience: Made an appointment 6 months ago, and because I did not confirm within 24 hours of my appointment, they replaced my visit without telling me. If you go here and have an appointment just know you will likely be turned down or given a snarky response as to why your appointment is no longer valid. I have been going here and can say the office has gone downhill, I pulled my records today and would not recommend going here. From past visits I will say, Marah the hygienist at the office is an absolute delight and should run from this place!

Fantastic experience: I have been extremely happy with Dr. Moa and hygienist Monique.. I believe they have been giving me the best dental care I’ve ever had in all my years. I always request them both on all my visits. Great team.

Fantastic experience: I’m new to this practice and pleasantly surprised. Both times I’ve been here I haven’t waited more than a few minutes to be seen. I feel that the hygienists and Dr Morris as well as all other staff work together well and seem very efficient. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Has been years since my last dental visit. Have had some really bad experiences in past. After reading other reviews decided to give River Dental a try. I am so happy I did. My experience was great. In past I needed to be sedated, did not need this time.

Fantastic experience: Kudos to Dr. Morris for having the most amazing team!! I finally decided to fix my front teeth and have a nice smile for the first time in my life! Feeling nervous and insecure, I went to Dr. Morris at River Breeze and he and Nikki immediately made me feel comfortable and like I was in capable hands. They spent a significant amount of time going over options with me and putting together a treatment plan that I was happy with. Karyn was awesome and went over everything in detail with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and could afford! Jessica is such a pleasure to have as a hygienist, even with that scraping and picking, she made me laugh! Chanley helped a few times re-doing the cost of my treatment plan and was pleasant every time. Pablo is amazing, always polite and concerned about making an appointment that works for me. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Morris and his crew, they are professional, polite, patient, accommodating and respectful! If you are looking for a great Dental Care group, check these guy's out! I feel like I hit the jackpot! I can't wait to post my before and after pictures!
