Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and excellent service! Great job cleaning!

Negative experience: I have honestly never walked out of a place so sudden before. When I first came in, I was greeted but had trouble finding my appointment but they squeezed me in anyway, I was called back to get and exam and my x-rays done, I have a very bad gag reflex when it comes to x-rays, the assistant didn’t bother to help much, when it came to breathing or finding another solution to take the x-rays, she then took the x-rays another way, so I thought everything was going to be good, she took me to the doctor and she came over and said she wouldn’t be able to look at my teeth because I need the full x-ray (where I was gagging a lot) the way it came off was kind of like it was making it sound like I wasn’t willing to do the traditional x-ray but that wasn’t the case, I just needed assistance. I then went back to do the x-rays once again, and I was gagging once again, the assistant then said “Do you just want to go to another dentist?” I was caught off guard. I understand if she meant it in a way where I could go somewhere with better technology, but it was just so sudden, and it just came off like there was no other solution and it was inconvenient for them.

Fantastic experience: Had a filling. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I’ll go back for the crown I need.

Negative experience: Watch out for hidden fees here. They tried to spring a surprise 2.8% credit card fee on me at the front desk that was completely left off my written financial estimate. When I refused to pay it, they waived it—proving it’s a junk fee. To make it worse, the office manager completely ignored my emails regarding the issue and offered nothing but excuses when called out. Incredibly unprofessional management.

Negative experience: I have not had any work done at this office. However I was considering it. I must say after reading several detailed 1 star reviews the response from the office should scare all future patients away. A generic response to all asking the patient to call and give more feedback is disingenuous to some of the patients being in severe pain for days and weeks. This place if they care should change that generic response. No thanks

Fantastic experience: Edit: 1/9/26 It's been a while since I've been there due to all my teeth have been taken care of, I went in for a cleaning and Jen was the person who had to deal with me lol. As always she is fabulous and she likes to joke with you. She actually talks to you and isn't just digging around there. And then Dr Foster shows up to poke around and what's amazing too is that, I'm remembered!! It's been probably 6 months since and I'm still remembered. Not only was this place extremely clean, the staff is amazing. The dentists let me know I needed to have root canal and a good amount of work. They recommended a dentist that will pay attention to me. I have another dentist that I was using but they didn't pay attention to what I have. I knew I had cavities but unless I told them, they didn't seem to care enough to look at them. So I highly recommend this location to you.

Negative experience: I am gravely disappointed in Castle Dental. So, in the past, I would see a dentist who could diagnose a Root Canal & then I'd see a specialist who would do the procedure on the same day. At Castle, I paid $98 twice to get the diagnosis. Also, Castle couldn't do the procedure until a month away. I don't know anyone with a Root Canal who can wait that long. I had to take 2 half days off from teaching. Plus another day for the procedure that Austin Endodontic is able to complete this week.

Negative experience: This place is a scam… they scheduled me for a “ROOT CANAL PROCEDURE” a month ago just to tell me yesterday that I only I’m scheduled for an appointment with a doctor and then schedule my procedure for next year… after a good back and forth the charged me for the “appointment” offering me to do the procedure later yesterday just to make me leave after taking my money and money from my insurance and not even care to call me after that… long story short a month of planning with days off of work and everything just to waste my time in the most disrespectful way, thanks for the call and for scheduling my procedure like you offered while taking my money.! Very unprofessional!!

Negative experience: I gave my review only one star, not five stars. Someone was changing to 5 star. My root canal service I paid out of cost $1,200 after discount price and it was done @ Georgetown, TX couple years ago. They told me they are in network and reduced the price. My root canal still bothers me and touch to hurt. A doc told me “ a new way to treat he doesn’t need to clean up inside so much.” I went back to the doc because it pain back. He treated it again but still hurt some time to touch. But about six months later they billed me an additional charge without explanation. But I didn't pay it. The doc didn’t do right. Called Castle again after year, they told me I have to pay as a new treatment again. I will never go back again to @ Castle in Georgetown TX.

Fantastic experience: I had my permanent dental bridge seated. It looks good and works very well. As usual, Castle Dental Georgetown did a wonderful job.

Negative experience: I wanted to like this place. The office is clean and the staff are friendly. However, I was supposed to have a simple crown done for a chipped molar. I had the prep and temporary crown done to await my permanent crown, and after a few days I reported back for moderate-severe pain (especially when eating). The hygienist simply looked in my mouth and said "it looks good". The Dr didn't come see me at all. No suggestion of an X-ray to see how the temporary crown was sitting or if there was something more going on; Just sent me on my way. I called back early this week to report that I was still having pain and am concerned about the upcoming permanent crown appt. They said that I would need to see their specialist because it "sounded" like I needed a root canal, despite that not being any concern with several previous X-rays spanning over the last 4-5 months (throughout having other dental work done). Fast forward to today. I called back to report that I'm still having pain and can't eat on that side because the pressure brings too much pain, and I also have constant dull pain in the jaw at that area. I expressed concern in waiting to see the specialist, for fear of an infection. I was put on hold for 30 minutes to be told that "the Dr said we can prescribe a med for pain so that you can sleep" when I again asked about the concern of infection, I was told "pain is not a symptom of infection". Now I don't know where these people went to school, but that alone paired with the sudden need for a root canal after a simple crown seems wild. To be honest, the severe pain that I was in following the prep for the crown had me very concerned that she may have shaved the tooth down too far. After the "pain is not a symptom of infection" comment, I'm convinced they very well could have done something wrong; whether it be the tooth prep itself, or the temporary crown mold/placement. To top it off. I called the pharmacy at 7:00pm this evening to see if the med was filled. The pharmacist said that they had in fact heard from Castle Dental and made the hygienist aware that they needed to follow a specific procedure to "call in" the med, but that whoever called to do so in the first place never called back!! So now I've made them very aware on at least 3 occasions that I've been in pain for the last 3 weeks, and they couldn't even send a prescription. ETA: The morning of the crown prep appt, they said the were short a hygienist and I (very patiently) waited almost an hour to get back to be seen. In retrospect, they all seemed in a hurry, something that simply shouldn't be tolerated. I really feel like I'm paying the price for their poorly run offices -- I was previously being seen in Round Rock before the crown disaster, and I left that office because they were poorly run, lacked any empathy, and didn't clearly communicate my care/scheduling needs with me. Thanks, Castle.

Negative experience: Castle Dental Georgetown is a Terrible place to go for your dental need, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. The Dentist was very unprofessional… she yelled at me asking for how much for an implant . My husband ordered and paid for temporary partial more than $700. that was awfully very small to fit in… no return or refund . I cancelled my appt the next day and found a new dental office … did an amazing implant job. Afterwards I heard and ppl telling us Do not go to Castle Dental they are terrible.

Negative experience: So the only problem I have with this place is the opening time and early morning appts. Why schedule an appointment at 7am if you don’t physically open the doors until 7am?! If an appointment starts at 7am a person should be checked in at minimum 10min prior right? So my 7am appointment is not really 7am because I have to wait for the doors to open then for the front desk to get it together and by the time I’m seated in the back to begin my appoint 30mins have gone by! Sooo if staff isn’t ready to start at 7am why schedule that early?!?!? What happened to business etiquette?!

Fantastic experience: Very high skill level. The practice is quite large and very busy. I have been exceedingly pleased with Ester who is excellent at fitting both the temporary and finally the permanent crown.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I showed up and was told they were having trouble with there suction machine and they would reschedule me for the next day. A couple of hours later, they called and said they had double booked that appt. and would call me back to reschedule me again. When they called me back, again, a couple of hours later, it was basically to ask me if I wanted to have my payment refunded to me. It really wasn't to reschedule me. I'm not sure why they really didn't want to deal with me. Maybe because I'm hispanic, or maybe because I'm older. I'm really not sure. I'm hoping that when they see this review, someone from their office will call me about this series of events.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience! Don’t go here. I scheduled an appointment then the morning of my two daughters appointments I got a text message not a phone call but a text saying they had to cancel the appointments don’t emergency. Gave them a second chance this summer then they could only do a eval no cleaning because their hygienist had an emergency and needed to leave so they only half asses my kids appointment. The front desk women talk to patients as if we’re the inconvenience to their jobs. Please find another place and don’t waste your time here. No wonder they have immediate appointments openings. This place sucks run!

Negative experience: Awful service. Waited OVER an hour to be told I cannot get a cleaning today, just a "quote for a cleaning". Again we waited OVER an hour for this "service" I contacted Castle Dental about my concerns, they stated that their appointments scheduled online do NOT go to there hygienist but instead goes to the doctors. This did not explain why we waited for over an hour to see a patient care coordinator. Additionally I asked to speak with the patient care coordinator at 12:26p. And the front office staff stated that "she had gone home for the day, because they close at 1pm today. Unhelpful.

Negative experience: Welp I wish I would’ve read the yelp reviews before booking either this place! But they definitely deserve less than 1 star! The girl in the front is like a deer in headlights and doesn’t seem to know what is going on! Completely wasted my time coming for my NEW PATIENT appointment and not getting anything done! They called me a day before to confirm my appointment and I told her at that time I was declining xrays being that I was 8 months pregnant, get to my appointment and the tech calls me for xrays and it was all downhill from there! I won’t go into anymore details! But beware of this place for your own sake and peace of mind!

Negative experience: I booked a new patient consultation, which includes, per their website: X-rays, cleaning, and consultation. The x-rays went fine, then the hygienist came to examine my teeth etc. they told me the doctor would be with me shortly, and then I waited, and waited, and waited and waited…..they told me they were short a person today….until, finally, Dr. Foster showed up. She referred me to a periodontist, which I accepted. When I asked about my cleaning, however, because that’s what I came there for, she told me that a cleaning is “just a polish” and I could get that done when I see the specialist, when I insisted I wanted a cleaning and I understood they can’t clean my gums, only my teeth, she just repeated that “you don’t want a polishing, you want to see a specialist.” So, basically, I paid for some x-rays and a giant 2 hour waste of time!! I even got a babysitter for that! I called around and found someone else, and yes, I CAN get my teeth cleaned “polished” while I look for an affordable periodontist because the one she referred me to would cost me one of my kidneys to see. I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where to begin with my experience. Anything and everything that you could imagine, was EXCELLENT. The staff…and I mean EVERYONE in the staff were so sweet and nice. The facility was clean and sanitary. The prices were fair (for a dentist) and then they even worked with me on the prices as well and discounted what they could. The treatments that I received would’ve been well over $5,000 and ended up paying $2300. Also, the fact that I am scared of going to the dentist myself and yet, she made me feel so comfortable. I highly highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: At my initial new patient visit, the entire staff was a delight to be serviced by. The appointment process was super easy online, as well as filling out the online forms. Future appointments were available in a timely fashion, not having to wait weeks to be seen. The location is perfect for both my husband and I. The front office staff were friendly and inviting, and even checked for a toothbrush for me, by request, since I had just eaten lunch with onions and I didn't want to be THAT patient. The X-ray tech was super fun and handled my stupid gag reflex like a champ. The hygienist was polite, communicative and friendly and performed her job well. The dentist did a very thorough inspection in a manner unlike any other dentist ever has, not just my teeth and gums, but checking all portions of my jaw, and under my tongue, as well. I will definitely be making this my permanent dentist, hopefully for many years to come, as long as the staff continues with their awesome customer service. What an enjoyable visit to the dentist, which I have always been so apprehensive about.

Positive experience: I was being worked in so my appointment time was off by at least an 1 1/2 hours. However once I got back to my chair everything went pretty quick. Doctor was very confident. He talked pretty fast but I think I caught most of it.

Negative experience: this was the worst experience I’ve had at a Dental clinic. waited there for two hours in total for a five minute conversation about how they’re going to extract my Wisdom teeth and they want to charge Over $1500 after Making me wait two hours like that I’m definitely not going there for my extraction. I don’t get why they’re Leander location is so good but yet The Georgetown one is absolutely terrible I paid $60 for that consultation. By the way, so $60 just to wait for two hours. My appointment was at 11 o’clock finally got home at 1:30 pm Just felt defeated after that experience.

Negative experience: Go anywhere else. Every year they change the age for minimum age requirements. Have to bring our youngest son to a pediatric dentist that we don't have insurance for because these people keep moving the goal posts. Every year they change the age disqualifying our son.

Fantastic experience: This time I needed an Oral Surgeon. Dr Beltran was so kind and understanding. When it gets to this point it just can’t be fun but he was so reassuring and respectful, it eased much of my anxiety. If ever I need another Oral Surgeon, you best believe, he will be my first choice. A few extras, he had already called in my prescriptions beforehand. So no waiting. He had to give me extra numbing shots because of the infection and took time to make sure that everything was a go before he started. He even said I was the one calling the shots. (No pun only). He is really good and really cares Be blessed sir.

Fantastic experience: Single best dental experience I've ever had. And im 59. Dr Foster is a gem. Friendly, kind, understanding and great at what the does. Her assistant Tyler is wonderful too. Friendly and explained what was happening each step of the way. Castle Dental exceeded every expectation.

Negative experience: Although the staff and dentists were friendly, I won't be returning. I told the first dentist that I saw that I wanted to be sedated when they removed my tooth. I have a major dental phobia and preferred to do it that way. When I arrived for the extraction several days later, the oral surgeon knew nothing about this and since I had eaten that day (I hadn't been sedated for a tooth extraction before and wasn't sure of procedure), he had to use gas. The procedure went fine and he said he would prescribe me pain pills. My husband went to pick them up and there was no prescription. And since it was done on late Friday afternoon and they close at 3 pm and don't re-open until Monday, I went without pain pills. They also should have given me pain pills on my first visit knowing that it would be a few days until the actual procedure (they had recommended a root canal & crown but I couldn't afford that and choose to have it extracted) and they knew I was in pain. Total incompetence as far as communication and patient compassion. The dentists were competent, nice, and qualified but the total lack of patient concern & communication will keep me from returning.

Positive experience: The service is great if you can get in. I often have experienced cancelations and rescheduled appts.i know they are short staffed.

Positive experience: Your cooperate office has dropped the ball on the lack of hygienist at the Castle Dentist office on Williams Drive Georgetown TX . I have had my appointment canceled three times without contacting me about another location. I Have no problem with the staff but this is unacceptable. We have been with you for ten years we will be looking for a new dentist at the end of this year.

Negative experience: They overprice services they overcharge and put in fraudulent claims. Despite several request to speak to a supervisor and multiple emails there is no follow up, which makes a very frustrating experience. The only communication that you will get is from the billing office about claims that need to be corrected and never are. The different departments do not communicate, and collaborate with one another. Would not recommend.
