Fantastic experience: I had my crown placed on my implant yesterday by Dr. Andrew Martin. It was a great experience from start to finish. Andrew is a very knowledgeable and well-experienced dentist. He was very gentle and also explained to me the various stages of the process thereby building up my confidence in him. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending him to anyone who needs an implant.

Fantastic experience: So, it's been quite a few months since I was last at Comprehensive Dental Care and there are some new faces but everyone is just as warm and professional as in the past. I had a crown come off which I saved and Dr Bhatt examined me, identified another issue and replaced the crown carefully and in a cost effective way. This was mostly due to the membership that the office offers. I highly recommend checking in to it especially if you are looking at a lot of dental work without good coverage. Once again I feel this is the best dental practice I've ever been to.

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my very positive experience with this dental clinic. I visited several times, and each appointment left only great impressions. From the very first visit, you can feel how attentive and professional the team is. I would especially like to thank Dr. B — during the initial exam, she was extremely thorough and created a well-structured treatment plan. I was particularly impressed that she identified hidden cavities in three areas that had been missed by other clinics. Most of my treatment was done by Dr. Martin. He is not only highly professional but also has a great sense of humor, which really helps you feel more relaxed during the procedures. All the work — including cavity treatment, implant placement, and crowns — was done very carefully and comfortably. I would also like to mention Dr. Jose, who performed my dental cleaning — a very pleasant and attentive specialist. It was a great experience as well. Overall, the entire staff is very friendly, welcoming, and caring. You truly feel that you are in good hands here. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had a couple teeth pulled recently, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Martin was incredible — calm, professional, and very reassuring throughout the entire procedure. He explained everything clearly beforehand and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The extractions were much smoother and less stressful than I expected. Tracie, my hygienist, was also wonderful. She was kind, attentive, and made me feel at ease from the moment I sat down. You can really tell she cares about her patients. The whole office was welcoming, organized, and professional. Fantastic experience: Dr. Bhati, Jose, Tracy and Julianne were all amazing, compassionate, thorough and great communicators. My roommate is neurodivergent and gets uncomfortable as well as overwhelmed and overstimulated easily making comprehension and processing challenging.. They were very patient, kind and accommodating. The office is super clean and the colors are very soothing and calming. 10 out of 10 would recommend. If you need a dentist now, they are running an awesome promotion which includes a lot X-rays and cleaning for approximately $160.

Negative experience: For a place that has 5 star rating, they certainly weren't very helpful. There "emergency" dental doesn't even take patients on Friday, and they wouldn't even let me finish talking on the phone. Those reviews sound like a bunch of bots to me.

Fantastic experience: This year was the year of catching up on dental care after neglecting my own health for quite a few years. My first appointment, they unfortunately found several cavities, but Dr. Rojas did her best to make sure that it was the most pain free experience I have ever had. Fast forward to some tooth pain that popped up, Dr. Martin quickly assesed the tooth and we were able to come up with a plan for a crown and I didn't even need a root canal Thanks everyone for fitting me in early! Overall, the clinic is super clean, the staff has been very nice/helpful/welcoming, and I've never had less stress at a dental clinic. Good seeing you again Tracy! Sorry I keep having you fix things

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Dental Care with Heart and Expertise I've been a patient at Comprehensive Dental Care for nearly two decades-- since before Dr. Loyce Jones retired and passed her practice to Dr. Andrew Martin. The seamless transition spoke volumes about both doctors' commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care, and Dr. Martin has continued that legacy beautifully (I get a bit nostalgic when hearing the same playlists from time to time). In 2016, Dr. Martin crowned my entire upper arch, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The work has held up exceptionally well, and the aesthetic outcome exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was his meticulous attention to detail and genuine care throughout the extensive process. Dani, their office manager, is truly the heart of the practice. She handles everything from scheduling to insurance coordination with such warmth and efficiency. Her follow-up is impeccable, and she always makes you feel like your care is her top priority. For many years, both Tee & Tracey were the amazing Dental Assistants. Tee retired a few years ago and so now I get to see Tracey each visit. She brings both skill and compassion to every appointment. She anticipates Dr. Martin's needs seamlessly while ensuring I'm comfortable and well cared for throughout my entire visit. Since becoming immunocompromised, the entire team has gone above and beyond to ensure my safety during visits. They've implemented additional protocols, coordinate timing to minimize exposure, escorting me directly to the treatment room that doesn't share air with other rooms, helping to setup an extra airfilter in the treatment room, and wearing N-95 masks. Their thoughtfulness in adapting their procedures while maintaining excellent care has been remarkable. Dr. Martin and his entire staff combine technical expertise with genuine concern for his patients' wellbeing. He takes time to explain procedures, discuss options thoroughly, and ensures you're comfortable with the treatment plan. The practice maintains personal treatment where you feel like every staff person really cares while also delivering state of the art care with the latest technology and techniques (as Dr. Martin also teaches in the Dental School at UF). For anyone seeking comprehensive dental care with a team that truly cares about both your oral health and overall wellbeing, I cannot recommend Dr. Martin and his team more highly. Their commitment to going above and beyond for their patients makes every visit a positive experience. ☺️

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but the best experiences at Comprehensive Dental Care. From the warm welcome given by the front desk staff, Theresa’s attention to detail during my cleanings and Dr. Martins expertise during exams-I could not recommend this practice enough!

Negative experience: Well… I chose this place because of the rating and reviews but was very let down. I am a college girl who was looking for a quick fix to a small tiny chip on the corner of my tooth. I am from another state so I just needed a quick fix to smooth it out. However, when I came in I was told many things I have never heard regarding my teeth which I find odd since I go every 6 months. I didn’t feel listened to enough, that I had to call in support to get my needs across. I was told the only way to truly fix it was to shave down my bottom teeth fill in my top teeth, nothing I have heard before when this has happened prior. When I said I wouldn’t be comfortable with Dr. Martin filling across all of my front teeth and just asked if he could smooth out the rigged corner chip, he then proceeded to “pass” me the drill and say “would you like to do it yourself!” I immediately felt very uncomfortable. He claimed he couldn’t smooth it out without a visible length discrepancy between my two front teeth? After a phone call with my parents he finally just smoothed out the corner like I asked just so nothing is sharp. My visit ended with “I’m sorry I feel like I made you upset.”

Fantastic experience: Love Comprehensive Dental! I've been going to them for a little over 2 years and the experience has been amazing. Theresa is always great with my cleanings-- very detail oriented and gentle. I've never felt rushed with any of my appointments. Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin and his staff are phenomenal. I had my first visit today and they welcomed me with a gift bag. Dr. Martin sat down with me for over 15 minutes at the very beginning and did a full medical history on me and asked me a lot of relevant questions. His staff then proceeded to spend over half an hour taking dozens of pictures and x-rays to get a baseline of my overall dental health. Dr. Martin went over each and every tooth to give me a prioritized list of recommendations. The hygienist then gave me a great cleaning. Everything was very professional from start to finish and at no point did I ever feel like I was being rushed along like a “number” so they could get to their next patient. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and getting to know me personally was unmatched by any prior experience I’ve had with a dental practice, and I have been to many, both when I lived in the Midwest and since moving to Florida a little over 2 years ago. I think you’d be very hard-pressed to find a better dentist in north central Florida.

Fantastic experience: This is a great practice! I've been seen by Drs. Martin and Pan and loved the degree to which they were honest about treatment options and incredibly patient - I have never felt like my care is being rushed or that I have been unable to ask all of my questions. The practice is clean and modern and the office staff are kind and always able to find appointments when needed. Given that most medical facilities no longer have mask requirements, I also cannot say how much I appreciate that the hygienists and doctors remembered me and my preference that practitioners wear masks - it meant a lot when I came in for my last appointment and masks had already been donned! Updating my review in Aug. 2025 to say that Comprehensive Dental Care continues to go above and beyond! Jose is a fantastic, thorough hygienist and Dr. Rojas is always kind and patient, in addition to being an excellent dentist. Dani and the front desk staff are efficient and continue to impress me with their ability to schedule last-minute appointments. And, as in my previous review, I remain INCREDIBLY grateful that the team continues to recall my preference for masks to be worn during care. This attention to patient comfort combined with the excellent care I receive makes me very happy to be a patient at Comprehensive Dental!

Fantastic experience: My journey with Comprehensive Dental began almost a year ago. I had major issues with old implants and bridges that were failing and bone loss. From the moment I walked in they were very patient and cared about my future smile. I'm happy to say that I'm finishing my procedures and I couldn't be happier. The whole experience has been great. Each visit and procedure I always felt cared for and never rushed when asking questions and voicing concerns about the next steps. Every procedure has been state of the art technology. It amazing what is available today and Dr Martin is on the cutting edge of the latest procedures and techniques. The staff always friendly and caring, and the office very clean. I will be finished with my journey in a month, but they have a patient for life to make sure my smile remains beautiful. Thank you Dr. Martin and all!

Fantastic experience: My first visit with Dr. Lewis’ practice was a warm experience. I came in as a new patient looking for high quality dental health care driven by a dentist with a professional medical team. New to Gainesville, I wanted to expand my scope beyond Shands and shed the impression that health care can only come from Shands and its faculty dental practice. Believe me, far better care can be found elsewhere, and Dr. Lewis’ office was exceptional. From start to finish, the dental care was professional and delivered in a model that focused on creating a trusting relationship between the patient and dentist. There was no upselling of services and no push to consider medically unwarranted care. Instead of a disregard to quality patient care, I received excellent treatment that kept unfolding in transparent ways from the intake to the evaluation to the development of a treatment plan, then to a dental cleaning, and along the way each of the medical team members delivered care professionally. The delivery model of health care practiced at this office is of a superior quality. Establishing a patient-dentist relationship in a new town can be scary, but clearly, I struck gold. Dental care is primary care, and I have found a valuable and beneficial opportunity in becoming a patient at Comprehensive Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rojas is the most kind and gentle person, I truly love how she cares for me. I love the check in staff, they are so relatable, vibrant, and helpful. The way the techs or dental Assistants clean and floss my teeth was extremely thorough and relaxing. The office is very neat and tidy with up to date equipment and free water & coffee ☺️

Negative experience: This practice started me on Perio gel X.After the second treatment I had adverse reaction.I stopped by the office on the way to hospital asking them for assistance with a swollen tongue throat and lips.They never followed up leaving me with no answers.They don't return calls.I continue to suffer leaving me to find resolve on my own.It should have never been used on my age group.I have no insurance leaving me with large amounts of debt.They are grossly incompetent and uncaring.I am deeply concerned for my health.I suggest future patients to avoid this practice.Its disgraceful the way I have been treated.I immediatly discontinued after second use.I immediately went to my Doctor had two weeks of prednisone.The third and forth weeks I was advised to try benadryl. I stopped by your office on way to hospital,I was never contacted about your research.To implie I waited a month for treatment is disingenuous at best. A web search on this product clearly states in rare instances lip swelling and older patients should not use this product. Fluoride and hydrogen peroxide are not natural occurring chemicals. The gums are a direct conduit to central nervous system. Yes I was refunded 500.00 dollars is a drop in the bucket considering I still am suffering side effects. I am still under my doctors care. I am under a new dentist care trying to get resolve,from your incompetence.You can't hide the fact that this products side affects are clinical research,implieing that I continued use and waited a month is disgusting.Nice spin and rinse tactics.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Martin for an initial visit and then I received a cleaning. That was the most comprehensive dental appointment I have ever had! He made sure to show me pictures of every tooth and and explained various things to be about my teeth/gums and jaw. The cleaning was exceptional and the hygienist was very patient with me during the cleaning. It was a very pleasant dental experience and I can't say that I have had many of those in my life.

Fantastic experience: They do very thorough exams and xrays. Dr. Martin is very friendly and professional. He answered any questions I had and gave options to fix a problem. The hygienists are all very nice and do a good job and very little discomfort. I'm on Medicare and they even have their own dental plan for about $35 a month. So glad they have that option! February 2025 I'm adding to my previous review from a few of years ago. I had chipped my front tooth and the other tooth beside it had always been slightly longer. Just had them fixed today. WOWWW! My front teeth are now even and the color perfectly matches my other teeth. I'd never know there was a problem. Thank you Dr. Martin!!!

Fantastic experience: Needed a dentist in Northern FL to extract a fractured crowned molar with a root canal. Got in right away. Dr. Rojas did a thorough and professional job on a tough tooth while making me feel as relaxed as possible for this elderly patient.

Fantastic experience: Quick and easy to deal with, super experienced and it shows. Had wisdom tooth extracted and he had pain control at the ready based on my previous experience. Was done and I felt no pain just the pressure. Prescriptions were called in so that by the time I got to Publix they were ready. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: This was an effortless visit on my part...all I had to do was show up...my dental team today was Dani, Dr. Martin, and Tracey. My visit was a crown for tooth #14 (an important burger chomper)...everybody was friendly and fun and as someone who has had a complicated dental history this was a perfect job on every level. This was followed up with a discussion on my needs and why certain procedures should be done along with a time line for these. Said costs were also considered. Fantastic experience: Dr. Rojas and Tracey helped me at my appointment for what turned out to be a cracked tooth. They were very competent and caring as they explained the process since this was a first for me. Fantastic experience: Great experience with my crown. This was the first time I had a temporary crown that did not come off! When Dr. Martin placed the permanent crown he patiently took extra time to make sure my bite was correct!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for going on five years, and I have received nothing but top notch dentistry service. The membership fee is very reasonable, and includes several cleanings a year. Both Dr. Martin, and more recently Dr. Rojas have performed dental surgeries on me, and I have always been comfortable and treated with care. I must include the front desk staff, because they are wonderful, as well. I definitely recommend Comprehensive Dental Care to anyone searching for dentists in North Central Florida.

Negative experience: The care we received there was generally fine, and the staff are friendly. However, I want to caution anyone who has dental insurance that requires patients to pay upfront and be reimbursed after the office submits paperwork. Comprehensive Dental Care submitted our claims well over 4 months after our visits, past the window required by our insurance. Our insurance thus denied these claims, and we ended up having to pay fully for these visits. The office staff seem surprised and disappointed with the insurance company, and normally I can empathize regarding insurance companies - but submitting claims well over 4 months after a visit is unacceptable. We should have been more proactive as patients, but we also trusted Comprehensive Dental Care to take care of this for us, and they did not.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best private practice I have ever been to. Every single employee is extremely pleasant. It truly feels like a family and every time I walk in, multiple employees remember my name and ask me about life updates that I have mentioned during a prior visit. Most importantly, the dental care I have received and continue to receive is spectacular. Special shoutout to Dr. Martin and Dr. Rojas for being so proficient at their work. They take the time to explain the process in layman terms annd very happily annswer questions. Also shoutout to Trae and Tracey for being great assistants who thoroughly walk us through every step of the way. Fantastic experience: These guys are the best place that I have ever been to a dentist. Hands down! They go above and beyond their duties to help you out in any way they can. They will even text you times and dates for different appointments to help you fit it in your schedule and they also are a great staff to be around.

My hygienist is Theresa and she is very knowledgeable and careful, I don’t dread going to the dentist. Front desk staff (especially Danielle) are all super friendly and efficient. Fantastic experience: Dr Martin and his staff are very nice and highly competent. They really care about their patients. All the dental work I have done at Comprehensive has been of great quality. Dr Martin uses excellent technology and equipment. What I like best is that Dr Martin takes the time to explain issues and educate the patient. He is also a very good communicator. When I have a dental issue I feel at ease going to see Dr Martin.

Fantastic experience: I am getting Invisalign through them and so far everything has gone very smoothly. The staff is very friendly and the lady at the front desk knew my name without me even checking in after my first appointment. Would definitely recommend seeing them for any aesthetic work!

Negative experience: We trusted Doctor Andrew Martin at first. He he appeared to be Indian ethnicity, cordial, kind and most of all their office manager had book our appointment on very next day when my husband had a tooth infection. We thought we were in good hands. But on our second visit we had discovered that we were not in good hand. He gave us a treatment plan, which was around forty five hundred dollar plan. We did not know him. So, we have completed about three tooth on first visit, to see his work, which was about $1500, and if we were comfortable then return for the next. What Doctor Andrew did was while he put the filling for one damage tooth, he 'unnecessarily' scrapped off the good part. All he needed to do was fill up the filling a little higher, to match up the level, but he chose not to fill up the gap, instead, he scrapped off / down the good part of the teeth to match to the lower level of the filling. That was an willful act to damaged the tooth. Probably to make sure we continue to visit for repair. This action I did not find as part of 'care.' It appeared as 'greed.' Mr. Martin wanted us to use the red wash to timid the sensation, and assured us that it will go away in a week. His office manager did call us about a week later, but not for follow up, not for patient's well being, for to set up the next appointment. The number on your file is my number, not the patient who cannot speak English because I am his emergency contact. And do you have any doubt that I cannot speak 'English,' and misunderstanding on our part !? It was first week of October 2023, when we spoke with the office manager, she took note, but as of today, May 14, 2024, we have never heard back from Mr. Martin, and or his office manager. We waited about a month but that sensation did not go away, called the office but the manager did not pick up my call. The receptionist assured that she will call us back, but she did not. Patient cannot eat anything on that side, forget about chewing. Even room temperature water bother him, and this never was any problem before we visited Mr. Martin's office. The Patient cannot eat, chew anything by tooth ever since. January 23, 2024, I stopped by the office to pick up the record, and the manager startled to see me. When I told her that you guys did not call us back, and she was ashamed to hear that the doctor did not follow up with us. Tooth is not like hair, or nail that it will re-grow. This damage is unrepairable, and he will have to live with it. When you see people in ethnic cloths, means still rusty, have not seen what a good dentist should be like, so, just manipulate the game. In short, according to our experience, 'not trust worthy.'

Fantastic experience: Last week I took my 90 year old mother for a denture repair & cleaning. The entire staff was friendly & amazing with her from the moment we walked in. The office is very impressive with the latest technology. Assistant Trae & Dr Liz Rojas were kind, professional, gentle, careful & effective. My mother was thrilled at the results.
