Harmony Pediatric Dentistry

Negative experience: This review is a billing review, nothing to do with the service they provided to my children. Beware of the cost and make sure you ask as many questions begore they provide any service. My son had to get cavities filled and we were going to go the route of sedation and because the Dr was so far out we had to put this stuff on my son's teeth to slow the progression of the cavity, until the Dr was available to see my son. It wasn't till after they had already done this procedure they told me that that Dr was not covered and the only coverage that would cover it was OHP. This would have been nice to know ahead of time as we would have just went with the normal route and not sedation. Because of their blunder they cost us 1500. They were nice and wrote half of it off but they should be paying all of it because they said it would be covered 100 percent by insurance.

Fantastic experience: Both my kiddos love it here! They are so good with the kids and make them feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Anna is the BEST pediatric dentist we’ve ever worked with. She is kind. She doesn’t make you feel rushed or dismissed. She is down-to-earth and just super cool. The staff at Harmony are all friendly as well.

Positive experience: Harmony has done a great job for our family for years now. Unfortunately, on 5/17/26, they decided to stop accepting PPO plans. This is going to negatively affect a lot of families who cannot afford to pay for a Premier plan. Receptionist claims they "sent an email to everyone", but I believe more is needed here. When a business decides to discontinue an insurance plan that has been accepted for years, more effective communication is needed than just an email. Contacting the families directly who are on a PPO plan, informing them of the change would be much more appropriate. Hoping this review serves to get some attention for Harmony to reconsider their decision to stop accepting PPO plans. Anyone else tired of local businesses caving to health insurance companies' attempt to price families out of quality health care?

Positive experience: Graded this office a 4 star. The dental technician Kimmy was great! The Doctor was nice, friendly and informative. The front desk gal with thick red hair seemed irritated, not cheerful and no smiles. I called ahead of time to let them know I was running late and I hope that wasn't the reason of her irritability. I also work for an Ortho office and I believe that the first people we see when entering a pediatric office (or any office) should be smiling, very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter went in for surgery today. The team from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Shout to Tabatha for everything she did to make it comfortable for our daughter and us. Hands down the best peds office!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was nice and slow. Explaining things as they went, letting him feel, examine, try stuff on his own, so he wouldn’t be scared or anxious. Accommodated when needed, the way they had to do something if he refused or got scared, anxious. A movie going above helped for distraction more than you guys know. I wish I had known about this dentist from the get go.

Fantastic experience: Took my autistic son for his first appointment. Took forever to find a place that was willing to be patient and not just want to put him under for a check up. They were super sweet, and had lots of into. Explained everything to us and our son before they did it. It was a great experience. After we left he was really excited about the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I took my 1.5 year old in today for his routine check up. The staff was so friendly and our appointment with the dentist went great. I would highly recommend this location for parents with young kids, they have an area to play in the lobby and the staff is great with kids.

Fantastic experience: It’s very hard to find a good dentist that actual cares about your kids these people absolutely do. I drive from Beaverton just cause they are so wonderful. Tabitha at the front desk is truly kind and so helpful. Dr.Anna and her team are the best and the anesthesiologist Dr. Eric is excellent.

Fantastic experience: For some reason my daughter was feeling nervous about her routine cleaning. When I expressed this to the hygienist she was very understanding and patient explaining the steps as she went even though this was not our first appt. The hygienist explained the nerves to the dentist who also went step by step through the process. I was just so thankful that they both took the time to make sure she was comfortable.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more then 5 stars I would! Dr. Anna Yoo is AMAZING! She is kind, compassion and does A+ quality work. My son had to be sedated for some work and from Dr.Yoo to the anesthesiologist to the front desk staff everyone was amazing! Everyone made my son feel safe and comfortable. If your child needs dental work I whole heartily trust this office! I couldn't be more please with not only my sons experience and mine, but also the work she did made a huge difference in my sons health for the better. We will definitely be coming back to see Dr. Yoo for all our future cleanings and check ups. Know that with Dr.Yoo and harmony dental are in good hands!

Fantastic experience: I have 3 boys, 2 with high functioning autism, that go here for their dental needs. We uave been patients for a few years now. The staff is so kind, courteous and so understanding. They really work with you and your kids to get everything taken care of promptly. If you are looking for some amazing pediatric dentists in the Gresham area, this is definitely a good place to choose!

Negative experience: Every time I took my daughter here I immediately got annoyed right when I walked in the door. The 2 front people are not friendly or professional at all imo. Especially that girl with the red curly hair. But really both weren’t friendly or welcoming at all. When you’re at the front of the office you are the face of the company and clearly I couldn’t stand how rude unwelcoming they were each time. No welcome hellos, nasty tones and clearly just plain rude and definitely do not know how to greet or communicate with people. I do agree with some other reviews they were very fast cleaning my daughters teeth as well as If rushed. At least they were a little nicer staff in the back I guess. Those 2 people in the front need to be trained again..

Still new to the place, but so far I gotta say their staffs here are amazing and very helpful with each appointments I’ve booked via phone & email. They are very professional and prompt with replying back. I now have all four of my kiddos going here and the place it self is very beautiful!! Positive experience: My daughter had a cleaning done here a few weeks ago. The person cleaning took less than 5 minutes. My daughter has good teeth, but i felt like that was way to fast. I was surprised how fast the appointment was, it took longer just waiting for the dentist to come check her teeth. We've been coming here for years and always been satisfied but now i feel like the new staff does not take their time throughly cleaning. I'm thinking of taking my kids elsewhere.

Negative experience: Canceled my daughters as patients after a few missed appts. Would have been very kind if someone had reminded me of the "policy" after the first missed appt that a patient can be removed as patients after so many missed appts. K signed a form over 5 years ago about this policy and not once did someone remind me of this. I work at a chiropractic office and we go above and beyond for our patients to help them keep and reschedule their appts and we would never remove a person as a patient. Highly unprofessional and seems they're looking out for themselves and not the patient.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best dentist office. The staff is kind and understanding with all of their patients of all ages. They make sure that kids feel cared for and comfortable. They also do not do unnecessary procedures. An added bonus is that the office shared with the orthodontist.

Negative experience: Well first of all they didn't let me go back there with my daughter and they did 8 silver In my daughter's mouth that shouldn't have been done The only reason they was doing it is because it was covered by insurance I would like to know somebody else's opinion about this

Fantastic experience: Amazing and patient staff who took their time to for our children to feel comfortable before preforming the exam. We’ve worked our way up to X-rays and electronic instruments which was originally a struggle for both my kids. They are very comfortable with Dr Patel and his staff!

Positive experience: I like taking my daughter here because they are so nice and understanding with the little ones who are scared. The only think I greatly dislike is the amount of calls and text you get to confirm your appointment. it is excessive and annoying for people like me who work all day and cannot be on the phone. I appreciate the reminders and all but one is enough. Other than that, this place is a great choice.

Fantastic experience: Showed us great flexibility as we happened to be 50 minutes early. They were short staffed but the dentist stepped in and offered to do the cleaning as he was free. Wonderful agile mindset and that kind of work flow is visible everywhere in the clinic. Kiddos and parents pick up that vibe.

Fantastic experience: We’ve lived in the Portland area for 4 years and during that time have been trying to find a good dentist for our kiddos. All 4 have dentist anxiety and unfortunately none of the dentists that we previously tried worked out. About a year ago we finally found Harmony and we will never leave!!! Dr Patel has been nothing but amazing with our kids. You can tell everyone at this office really cares about what they do and getting the best outcomes for our kids.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr. Patel after a less than ideal experience at another dentist. From the front office to the hygienists, assistants, and the dentist were all amazing!! They listened to our concerns, took a proactive approach and had a few treatment plans to choose from and alternatives if our child didn’t react well to the first plan. It was a huge relief & a wonderful experience to be heard as a parent. We ended up not needing general anesthesia. Our kiddo did fantastic and that is a testament to the incredible staff & Dr. Patel with their approach to care. Amazing!

Fantastic experience: 2020 My kids have loved visiting HPD since they were 2 years old. All of the staff members are so inviting and knowledgeable, the environment is kid approved, just a great experience overall. 2022 Today I told the kids they had dentist appointments and they were jumping up and down so excited. Love Harmony PD! 2024 My kids love getting entered into the No Cavity Club Drawings.

Fantastic experience: Always greeted with a smiling face, my girls always look forward to going.

Positive experience: The hygienists here are all excellent - they are patient with kids, kind, and take their time to make kids comfortable. Our most recent appointments were with Dr. Patel, who is absolutely wonderful. He’s quiet and gentle and works hard to engage the kids. My 7yo has a lot of anxiety around doctor appointments, and Dr. Patel took extra time to chat with him and make him comfortable. He has a great bedside manner with kids. We’ve also had great appointments with Dr. Shirley, so you can’t really go wrong. One star off for some issues we’ve had with scheduling - namely, we were scheduled for an appointment for both kids last year and showed up to find the office closed. We had received multiple text reminders to confirm the appointment. When I called and spoke to the front desk staff and manager, the claimed they had left me a voicemail to reschedule prior to the appointment - but I most definitely never received a call from them, let alone a voicemail. They didn’t take responsibility for the error, and it was a very frustrating experience with a kid who has severe anxiety about doctors to begin with. Aside from that, however, we’ve been happy with Harmony.

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old child had 2 teeth extracted for ortho treatment. Dr. Dusayant Patel and the dental assistant was very patient and calm with my scared child. They didn't show any sign of annoyance in their face or demeanor in their body language and tone of voice when my child was crying. They were able to calm her down and get the job done. I had experienced with unpleasant behaviors with other dentist and ortho offices. I recommend Harmony Pediatric Dentistry to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: My kids had a great experience at the dentist. They get to watch TV while getting a cleaning. The staff is friendly and gentle. After the visit they get a goody bag with a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Fantastic experience: I called for a new patient visit and they were able to get my child in the next day. On top of that, being a busy mom and juggling life, I wrote my appt time down wrong and they called within 10 mins of being late and were able to accommodate me for a later afternoon visit the same day. The staff members are very professional and kind and seem very knowledgeable. Made me feel like my dumb questions weren’t dumb at all. Will definitely be recommending this clinic to people I know looking for pediatric dentists.

Fantastic experience: I’ve experienced many dental offices, and this was one of the bests visits for my little boy! Maritza (not sure if I spelled that right) was amazing! She adapts well with kiddos, I felt like she treated my little boy as if she would treat her own kiddo☺️ The doctor was pleasant as well, answered all my questions and listened to my concerns so kindly! He gave me options as far as treatment needed, and supported me in any decision I would make! Overall, I’d recommend this office to my friends and family! Fantastic experience: It was our first trip to the dentist since we moved here. I've done review searching for a looooong time and also procrastinating it. My son has had previous bad experiences to the dentist... let me say, HE DID SO GOOD TODAY! I told him how proud I was that he did great. Why did he do great?! Because the staff there were fantastic. I observed how they talked with patience and explained everything they were doing with such kindness to him. My son's a talker, especially when nervous .. their patience there was top notch. Thank you!!!! So happy I listened to the reviews to come here for my kids.

Fantastic experience: We love Harmony Pediatric Dentistry! Even just from the waiting room you feel a sense of welcoming. The outdoorsy/nature theme is super cute. Water and coffee station, phone charging station, and a book and toy area for the kids is amazing. Back in the patient care area you'll see hopscotch on the floor, lots of bright, eye catching colors throughout and the same nature elements from the waiting room to tie it all together. The station we were sitting at had a tv above the chair that my little ones could watch and stay entertained while the amazing staff did the cleaning. All the staff that i have interacted with were great and really engaged well with my kids. We are very happy that we found this office!
