Fantastic experience: Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry has been wonderful for our family. Both of my boys absolutely love coming here and they are so patient and caring with both of my children. My oldest is autistic and my youngest has ADHD.

Fantastic experience: This was our son’s (1 yo) first experience at a dentist office. He is terrified of going to the doctor, so I was a bit worried going into it. The first thing we noticed was the environment and ambience. Dr. Floyd has decorated her office space so well, to the point that it feels like a children’s play space. There are books, toys, and wall-mounted busy boards in every room. My son was instantly distracted and happy playing with the provided toys. For his dental exam, Dr. Floyd introduced herself with such a soft-spoken nature. She was so calm and kind, and my son instantly warmed up to her. With other doctors, he usually shrinks in fear. She was gentle and kind, and provided good advice for what our next steps should be. The dental assistant gave our son a balloon after the appointment was over, and he has been playing with it all day! We will be coming back!

It’s rare to find a practice that makes a dental appointment such a pleasant and unique experience. Our daughter had such a great time and adjusted so well to the very sweet and gentle tech — it truly put us at ease. Dr. Floyd continues to amaze us with her dedication and the care she pours into her growing practice. We have been seeing her for more than three years, ever since the office opened in the area, and our experience has consistently been excellent. She is highly professional, patient, and great with children, which makes a huge difference when it comes to pediatric dental care. The entire team is also very organized and welcoming, which helps the kids feel comfortable from the moment we walk in. One of the biggest advantages of this office is that they offer sedation services on-site, so there is no need to go to another facility. That convenience, combined with the quality of care, has been a game changer for our family. Overall, we’ve had a consistently positive experience and would highly recommend Dr. Floyd to any family looking for a skilled and caring dentist.

Dr. Floyd is super thorough and patient which I personally appreciate since my child is a talker and sometimes its hard to get him to stop, but she listened through and engaged with him so well (shout out to the dental assistant that helped us too, she was equally as fantastic!!) Overall just an amazing experience! My child on the way out was even saying he rates this office 100 stars (hes picky on his ratings, so this means something )

I like how she and her team address questions to my almost 11 year old son about his dental hygiene because it gives him a level of responsibility for himself. The front desk team is organized, welcoming, and incredibly patient with the chaotic energy that often comes with a lobby full of children. They handle scheduling and insurance hurdles with a smile, making the administrative side of things completely stress-free for parents. We look forward to returning to our next 6 month appt for our 7 year old daughter.

Fantastic experience: Finding a new dentist for an 11-year-old can be a headache to deal with, but Pumpkin pediatric Dentistry nailed it. They spoke directly to my child, explaining the cleaning process in a way that was respectful and easy to understand. It really helped take the anxiety out of the transition! Scheduling our appointment was seamless and the coordinator was incredibly flexible when we had a last-minute change the week prior. When we arrived, the staff checked us in immediately and we were seen by the hygienist very promptly, despite arriving early. Anaan was nothing short of amazing to our 6.5 year old daughter who was coming here for her first ever dental appointment. He was incredibly professional, fun, engaging, and sweet towards our daughter. The office was pristinely clean - everything looked brand new. It was comfortable and decorated so nicely. Dr. Floyd was incredible as well - everything you would desire in a pediatric dentist. My daughter left with a bag of dental goodies, stickers, a temporary (princess) tattoo, balloon, and a "First Dentist Appointment Ever" certificate! Great for our keepsakes :) After having too many negative experiences with medical establishments, this place was a complete breath of fresh air. We felt truly cared for. Sadly, we will be moving states in the new year and will only be able to have one more appointment here before relocating, but we'll be recommending this practice to all. Thank you.

Positive experience: In response to Dr. Floyd’s reply: Dr. Floyd, thank you for replying. I need to clarify that the only documented conversation regarding finances prior to my child’s appointment was on 10/29/25, which is not one month prior to the appointment, and there was no follow-up after that to update me on the associated costs. You’re implying otherwise and that is false. During that conversation the same amount that was discussed in person was reiterated over the phone. There should have been another conversation well before the day before my child’s appointment to update me on all fees associated with my child’s treatment. Additionally the conversation should have been initiated by your office. Instead it was initiated by me, I called following up on an unreturned call from 11/25/25. Also, I did not make any changes to the treatment plan. Another false implication from your response. And even if changes had occurred, a clear explanation and updated estimate should have been communicated to me weeks in advance, not the day before. It is concerning to me that your response frames my experience as a misunderstanding on my part rather than a breakdown in communication on you and your staff. I will be following up directly with you, but I want to ensure that the record is accurately reflected here. ———— I want to start by acknowledging the positive: Dr. Floyd is wonderful. She is kind, patient, and gentle with my children, and I truly appreciate the care she provides. When she personally called to explain the treatment plan, it was extremely helpful and reassured me. I only wish that level of clarity had come much earlier in the process. My main concern with this office is communication, especially around financial obligations and treatment planning. On two separate occasions, the information I received about costs was unclear or inconsistent. I was told that a deposit would be applied toward the appointment fee, which led me to prepare for a certain amount. However, the day before the appointment, I was informed that the fee was higher than what had originally been discussed. Additionally, the treatment plan itself wasn’t clearly explained until the very last minute. I called the office twice seeking clarification, but didn’t receive accurate or updated information until the day before the appointment. For families budgeting and planning ahead—this is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Suggestions for improvement: • Provide parents with a clear reference sheet or short explanation video at the time the appointment is scheduled. This helps families understand the full process well in advance. • Ensure the front office follows up regarding financial updates or changes to estimates at least two weeks before the appointment. • Offer consistent, proactive communication instead of last-minute updates. Dr. Floyd’s care is excellent, but the communication practices need significant improvement. With clearer processes and earlier follow-up, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience I brought my 11 month old daughter in for her first check up she only has two teeth but the care Dr. Floyd & Monique had for my little one was amazing. They were both very patient and helped ease my nervous mom nerves. Dr. Floyd answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. I am so glad to have found a place that makes me feel comfortable and safe to bring my daughter. I definitely will be recommending this place to more friends and family.

I was a bit nervous about dental visits before, especially with a special needs child, but the way Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry has been treating and caring my daughter has completely eased my worries. Fortunately, we haven’t had any major issues during our visits and check-ups. My daughter has also been cooperative under their care. The staff are always gentle and patient. I truly appreciate the entire Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry team for their excellent work. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Floyd and her team are wonderful. I’ve been bringing my 2 year old son since he was 8 months old. He is very shy around new people. At his most recent visit Dr. Floyd explained all the tools she was going to use and showed them to my son before using them on him. I couldn’t believe how well he did for his cleaning! All thanks to the patience and care Dr. Floyd shows her patients.

Dr. Floyd, Monique, and her entire team were amazing with my 6-year-old son; patient, kind, and incredibly professional from start to finish. The office is spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, which immediately put us both at ease. The staff were welcoming, efficient, and so great with kids. My son was especially thrilled about the TV above the dental chair-such a brilliant idea! It kept him calm and entertained during his cleaning, which made the whole visit go so smoothly. Fantastic experience: Dr. Floyd is an excellent doctor. She was very gentle with my children teeth cleaning. Took her time in analyzing their oral health. Dr Floyed than explained next steps to deal with the cavities my daughter had in her teeth. She provided various options and explained the pros and cons in detail. Fantastic experience: Dr Floyd is wonderful with our children! She’s knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They LOVE coming to the dentist. She has all types of fun treats (different every time). I also love the ambiance of the office. You can tell she selected each item from the light fixtures to the wall plug ins. Very welcoming and comfortable!

Fantastic experience: Second time visiting this office with my twins and was overwhelmingly pleased and happy with the first time around just as much with this visit too. Every member from front desk to back and checkout is amazing and super friendly. The dentist herself is very kind and very friendly. Super close to home and even if I were to move away I would still make the drive. By the way! Lots of points for the interior and decorations!
