Fantastic experience: Dr. Ruben has been my dentist since I was a kid—probably since I was 5 or 6. I’m 24 now. I haven’t been to the dentist in a while, but I reached out to him since he’s the only one I trust to get my molar taken out. He always goes above and beyond to make me and my family feel like more than just patients. Him and his team really made sure I was pain free while getting the teeth out, and can tell that they truly care. If you’re looking for a dentist in the DMV area definitely reach out to him

I have gone to him for yearly check ups and with a cracked molar which he fixed perfectly. I highly recommend Dr. Cuellar for his skill and honesty. A bonus is that he speaks fluent Spanish. Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for about 5 years now. Before coming here I didn't go to a dentist for 7 years. Due to a previous awful experience I could never shake the anxiety of going to the dentist. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found this dentistry. Negative experience: DR. CUELLAR IS DISGUSTING AND HIS TEAM ARE RACIST TOWARDS BLACK/ MEDICAID PATIENTS. He is having bad reviews of him removed!! What kind of censorship is it that I, a black patient have a horrible experience with this man and it gets taken off Google the next day??!! He will insinuate you have HIV if you are black, I do not have HIV or AIDS, I filled it out on the patient medical form, and he still gave me this nasty look the entire appointment and asked repeatedly if I had any "blood disease s!!" No matter how many times you ask me the answer is No!!!!!! The point of a dentist is to fix your teeth, I went in for a cleaning because of dental pain and I'm on Medicaid. Most of his patients like him are Hispanic and also on Medicaid, but he "wasn't aware" of if Medicaid would cover a cleaning even though that's what 99% of his patients use!!! So he never cleaned my teeth!!! I waited 11 days to hear about whether Medicaid would cover a basic tooth cleaning and they never contacted me. I called the office, he said his secretary would reach out, never did which is honestly fine because I don't like racists and especially not hypocrites!!! Next time my review gets taken down, I'm taking it to the BBB or the NAACP. DR. cuellar Stop silencing your patients you've done wrong!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a high number of metal dental crowns, more than 20 and silver amalgam fillings. Dr. Ruben is exactly the right dentist to help patients with every kind of treatment, replacement strategy, for continuity, and for me, it was an advancement in level and complexity of tools to provide care 1) He and staff are using the best tech with near instant results imaging of X Rays, extreme close in photo probes, and 3D scans of all tooth / teeth surfaces, interior structure, and bite profile - to track and show you exactly what is going on. 2) he and his talented staff as well coordinated as you could find anywhere in the world, part of it is improved science & chemistry, and they have mastered application and teamwork timing very well 3) relaxing videos and music of your choice 4) When I start Medicare this fall, I plan to keep separate Delta Dental Insurance account, and Dr Ruben Cuellar as separate provider going forward, for preventative care, which you can get included in some Medicare Advantage Plans, but maybe more importantly to me : separately restorative work; that is where the big expenses are, and the skill of the dentist is crucial. There is no sense going back down from best care. Restorative dentistry focuses on restoring function and structure to teeth that are missing, damaged, or infected. Dental crowns are the most common restorative dentistry treatment. Another restorative treatment is a root canal to remove infection from a tooth. Dental implants and dentures also fall into this category since they are designed to replace missing teeth to restore the function and appearance of a patient’s mouth.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually write reviews and I don’t like going to the dentist, they scare me. Found relaxed dentistry online and Was thinking to myself I will give it a try. Thank god I did! They made me so comfortable and relax in every visit, Dr. Cuellar and the staffs are so nice. I like that Dr. C give you a few options depending on your budget. He is not pushy in to getting you to pick the expensive route not like the other dentist does. It’s a small practice and I like that. I must say, I have found my permanent dentist!

Dr.C could have said we have to just pull them all, like I had been told from two other dentists I consulted before him, but he was determined from the start to keep that from happening.
