Fantastic experience: THE SERVICE I RECEIVE FROM THE DENTIST ON DUTY TODAY INCLUDING THE STAFF IS BEYOND EXCELLENT. THEY ARE SO WILLING TO LISTEN, BE HELPFUL AND EXPLAIN WHAT IS NEEDED FOR MY SLEEP APNEA NEEDS. DR. Z WAS ON VACATION FOR MY APPT TODAY. SHE IS ALWAYS EXCELLELNT AND LISTENS TO MY NEEDS.

Negative experience: After being referred to “Dimples Dental Suite” by my neighbor, I never anticipated being treated so poorly. When I arrived for my first appointment with Dr. Presson, I checked in and completed some paperwork that I had missed online. I then waited to be called for my X-rays and cleaning. After some time, I needed to use the restroom, but there was a sign on the bathroom door stating “Out of Order.” I asked the receptionist if there was another restroom available, and she said no. I told her I would be right back, then walked to the supermarket on H Street where my friend is a manager to use their restroom before returning for my appointment. When I came back, I had to wait outside for quite a while because the receptionist was away from the front desk. I understand the need for a security buzzer for safety purposes, but I was left standing outside in the cold for several minutes and was not let back in until I knocked loudly on the door. When the receptionist finally let me inside, Dr. Presson came out, removed her mask, and said, “Please don’t bang on my door. If it breaks, it’s expensive to fix.” I attempted to explain that I had needed to use the restroom and had walked all the way to H Street, but she put her mask back on and did not appear interested in hearing my explanation. The following month, I returned for another appointment for fillings. The same “Out of Order” sign was still on the bathroom door, which concerned me. I asked the receptionist why the restroom had still not been repaired. She laughed and said, “The doctor has a phobia of germs. She keeps that sign there so no one will use it, but if you really have to go, we’ll let you.” I told her I wished I had known that during my first visit because I had walked all the way to H Street to use a public restroom and then had to wait outside in the freezing rain to be buzzed back inside. I did not find the situation amusing at all. Since I am studying law, I asked one of my professors whether this conduct was legal. He told me that a medical or dental practice is generally expected to maintain a clean, fully functioning restroom for patients, including a working toilet and sink for handwashing, and that the circumstances I described could potentially raise health code concerns. When I mentioned the receptionist’s statement about the doctor’s germ phobia, my professor looked up the business and noted that it appeared to be a single-provider practice. He commented that if the owner and sole practitioner has a severe germ-related phobia that interferes with normal patient accommodations, it may be inappropriate for that individual to operate a patient-care practice in that manner.

Fantastic experience: I visited today to start the process of getting two crowns. Genesis & Dr. Z were great. I'd highly recommend this practice. They are professional and up on the latest dental technology. Two thumbs up.

Fantastic experience: This office is personable and makes checkups comfortable. The hygienists and the dentists suggest ways to minimize tooth wear and, of course, there are the invisible parrots chanting "brush and floss". After an involuntary forced missing of a couple of cleanings, the hygienist working as carefully as able was very, very picky to make the cleaning and treatment go without issues. The dentist also had an appropriate suggestion for treatment that I could follow.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility other than some limited space in treatment rooms. Been going to this dentistry office for 35+ years with wife and daughter. The original dentist owner retired a few years ago and some staff members moved on to other life pursuits. The new owners are a husband-wife dental team with superb modern dental skills and academia background. Great hygienists and technicians for special dental needs. Entire staff works well together.

Fantastic experience: My dentist, who I was very happy with, retired a few years back. She came highly recommended to me by one of her patients that knew me and my history of bad dentists. I needed a reputable dentist to perform extensive work to repair/replace what had been done by my previous dentist. She was in Virginia, and I live in Maryland, an hour and a half away, but it was worth the travel. She retired before we could get to most of the repair work, but she had to address all the newer issues the bad dental work created, and it was a lot. Plus...we were all dealing with the pandemic She was a wonderful dentist for me and I'll never forget her or her kindness. I feel so very blessed that Dr. Zaynab and Dr. Saleem took her practice over in 2021. They are so caring, gentle and friendly, you're immediately put at ease. They are an incredible team with an amazing, enthusiastic professional staff who truly care about their patients. Kirsten has been the dental assistant taking care of me most of my visits and she's the absolute best...an angel. Heather handles the billing and insurance claims like no one I've ever encountered. "Amazing" doesn't begin to describe her skills. Everyone I've encountered has been super helpful and friendly. These doctors know how to pick great people to assist them. I'm so very impressed with the knowledge and experience, the cutting edge technology, and the many more modern uogrades, changes and improvements they've brought to this practice. They instill confidence and I'm calm and relaxed (as relaxed as u can be at the dentist!) no matter the procedure. They explain everything and make you feel so comfortable. I drive an hour and a half to see them and am grateful for the opportunity to do so...I can't say enough good things about them. I love this practice and all the people in it that endeavor to make my experience as pleasant as it can possibly be. This is coming from someone who has always feared going to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Z and Dr. S at Dental House in Manassas, Virginia. I know you will love them, too.
