Negative experience: Took my daughter last week went into this office, and the person checking us out giving me my treatment plan, I believe her name was Michelle, smelled like marijuana and I could tell she was incoherent. Other than that staff is very friendly, but they need to do something about that employee, because it is very unprofessional.

Alina, my hygienist was very informative and thorough in my cleaning that she explained my pain and made sure I got thru without a hitch. Fantastic experience: I came in today for a cleaning at Lancaster total dentistry. I was greeted by Donna and Alex at the front desk who checked me in and checked to make sure all my documents were in order. Then I was called in by Cindy, the hygienist who proceeded to do my cleaning. I would give her a solid 10 for the cleaning she provided for me. Then I saw Dr. E who gave me a great exam and told me to keep up the good work.. I would recommend this office to anyone in the area looking for a great place to see a good dentist..

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a new dentist and found this place. I was expecting the same mean dentist that I always get, but that was not the case. They are very nice here. I got a cleaning done by Alina; she was very knowledgeable and kind. She made sure I understood everything and was not judgmental. I am very grateful to her and the rest of the staff here.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency treatment for a rear tooth while visiting the area on vacation. A filling I’d had done overseas came loose and needed to be removed. I called the practice, and they were able to give me an appointment the same day. The dentist did an excellent job—everything was quick, professional, and pain-free. The price was very reasonable, and payment by credit card was no problem at all. The whole team was very friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated how efficiently they handled my situation. Fantastic experience: I wanted to share my recent experience with Lancaster Total Dentistry in Lancaster, between Ave L & M, which a friend recommended to me. From my initial call to schedule my new patient exam, Claudia was very professional and friendly, and I appreciated that she was able to book my appointment for the same week. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the office. Carol handled my paperwork with care and made me feel very welcome. My dental assistant, Gisselle, was professional and gentle, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my visit. I must say, Alina, my hygienist, provided the best cleaning I have ever had. She was gentle, knowledgeable, and gave me helpful at-home care suggestions, showing genuine concern for my dental health. I definitely intend to continue seeing her for my hygiene appointments. I also love Dr. Gibbs! She is amazing, personable, and listens to my needs. I didn't feel like she was recommending treatment that I didn't need. I would also like to thank Kelly for being so caring and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Kelly is so pleasant and helpful, and she always brings a smile to my face. Fantastic experience: I had a visit to Lancaster Total Dentistry and it was the best dental visit! I came in a little hesitant to start my dental treatment but after speaking to Carol about my dental options I decided to stay and start my crown and see the hygienist right after! Dr. E and Erin took great care of me. It was pain free :)

Fantastic experience: First time going to Total Dentistry and they were such sweethearts and made me feel comfortable. Will definitely come here again.

Negative experience: The staff are all very kind, I'll give them that. However, kind does not make up for horrible dentistry. My husband and I have beautiful teeth and we came here only to have them absolutely ruined by Dr. Saidara, who ended up doing 4 small fillings on my husband and 2 on me. The fillings were left extremely rough, he never filed/smoothed the composites, never tried threading floss between our teeth, didn't polish or check his work. It's hard to tell when you're super numb but as soon as we got home we knew it was all wrong, and when my husband flossed that night a filling popped out. My husband couldn't even get floss between his teeth without it threading and snapping! He has tooth pain in every place Dr. Saidara worked and so do I. We had to go back and have Dr. Tuki redo the fillings. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later, one of my fillings that was even redone popped out [pic]. This warranted a THIRD dental visit in 5 weeks. Absolutely insane. Since having my filling done for the THIRD time (twice by Dr. Tuki who is extremely kind and well-practiced), unfortunately, I'm certain my tooth has been ruined. I have extreme tooth pain that has not gone away--so much that I cannot even chew on my right side. I can't bite a potato chip. I am scared to floss between two of my teeth. I am terrified to go back to these people and have them do a routine filling, as I'm pretty sure the next step is going to be an entire cosmetic tooth replacement for the damage that's been done.

Negative experience: Several months ago I had an appointment, and the office canceled me a week prior. Then trying to reschedule it is not a priority to get the customer back in, it is whenever they can schedule you several weeks to a couple of months. Here I was on a 6 month schedule, when I was told that my appointment was canceled. The customer service has changed since the new company bought it from Dr Scott. But you can get on a list so if someone cancels.

Negative experience: I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this dental office. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by three older ladies who were shockingly rude and unprofessional. They made me feel unwelcome and acted like I was an inconvenience to them. The customer service was absolutely horrible. They were dismissive of my questions and seemed completely uninterested in helping me. I expected better care from a professional dental office, but instead, I was met with condescending attitudes and an overall lack of respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service.

Negative experience: Worse practice I have ever been to. Appointment was for 8am. Never got a text msg as a reminder until 8am on the same day. The msg said my Appt is at 8:30am. Should have got the msg at least 1 day prior. Previous Dentist sold his practice to Lancaster dental. First visit with this practice was not much better as I had to wait after the cleaning to see the doctor for over 15 minutes. Guess it is time to find a new dentist as these guys have no respect for you yime

Positive experience: Transferred by retiring dentist, so have high expectations. Staff was friendly, facility is esthetically pleasant. Environment is loud not calming. Not run as efficiently as what I'm accustomed to - had to wait some time for the dentist to come to see me. Not sure if it's worth the drive anymore.

Fantastic experience: My first time at this dental office was amazing! They got me right in with no wait. Cindy the hygienist was very nice, gentle but detailed. Dr Tookey is as always gentle, thorough and not to mention has a great knowledge and communication of everything going on in dentistry. Fantastic experience: This place is fabulous! I HATE the dentist! From the minute I called this morning, after a painful tooth night, to when I got there to my appointment 2 hours later my experience was nothing short of amazing! The front office staff was so very nice and then Kellie, Dr. Tookey's assistant, took her time to do the xray that was needef and explained everything to me. Dr. Tookey showed up and was so caring and patient! He had a very gentle manner. He even called in the evening to make sure I was alright. In all my years going to the dentist I finally hit the jackpot in this office. I wish that I would have found them years sooner! I will never fear going to the dentist again, or dentist hop again. I finally found the best!!

Positive experience: Even though I was 15 minutes early, I was still called back promptly. Everyone was polite and courteous. Staff is completely competent and professional.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience. I have high anxiety about the dentist and they were really great people. I took my 6yr old and she left super happy as well. Definitely can’t recommend them enough!

Negative experience: I normally have a great experience with Dr Boyle, but this visit was the exception. My tongue was accidentally hurt by Dr Boyle during the removal of a tooth for a crown, which I understand happens but Dr Boyle did not say anything. I did not know anything about it until the tech told me at the end of my visit. I was Numb so I didn’t know any different. When the numbness wore off, I was in a lot of pain and I also found out they had left a huge piece of cotton underneath my tongue. It was very gross and uncomfortable to find it. My tech was wonderful, but I’m a little disappointed in Dr Boyle for his lack of honesty and attention to detail. He’s retiring so I guess it really doesn’t matter. I am a big fan of Dr Boyle because he did amazing things to fix my smile. However, this was not a good visit.

Fantastic experience: Every time I have a visit with Dr Tookey, it’s a great experience. The ladies at the front desk made the transition here great. Very warm. Very friendly. As a new patient to this dental office, I look forward to every visit. And yes. They all made me smile.

We have been seeing them for many years now, and even though there have been a number of dentists coming in and out, the service has always been great. Tiffany is an awesome dental assistant and she is always great with the kids! Adrianne is one of the nicest dental hygienists and we are getting to know some of the others who have joined. The front desk staff are friendly and always super helpful! We really love Dr. E and are getting to know the rest of the providers who have joined the practice.

Update: 10/13/2022 Cindy is a wonderful hygienist, she screened me for oral cancer which made me feel very safe. No one has ever done that before, that I'm aware of. The staff here in general is wonderful as always.
