Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience, she’s been a patient here for 3 years and staff are wonderful with her, kind and supportive to her needs. Being a mother whose daughter is with Autism is very difficult at times for her to feel comfortable in her environment and they handled her with so much care and attention. Negative experience: Very very small wait room women and children are standing up with no room. Been waiting over and hour and had an appt. Makes no sense why the wait time is so long when appt was made. Do NOT recommend this place at alllll

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is wonderful! The front desk ladies are kind and professional and the back staff, dentist, and nurse were all incredibly kind and informative! I appreciate that they all took time to really answer my questions and make my daughter feel safe and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Its calming place and they get you in in a few minutes and they are great with kids. They make sure the kids are good before doing anything. 100% I recommend this place for your littles.

The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and made a wonderful first impression the moment we walked in. The nurses and doctors were incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. They took the time to reassure my nervous child and made him feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. The procedure was quick and efficient, and before we knew it, we were back home recovering. Everything went smoothly, and we couldn’t be happier with the care we received. We truly appreciate everyone at Visalia Children’s Surgery Center for making what could have been a stressful experience so positive and seamless. I highly recommend this facility to any parent whose child needs dental treatment under sedation or sleep dentistry. The team is exceptional, and your child will be in great hands!

Fantastic experience: My son was referred for Endo treatment and from the moment he walked in until the very end of his visit, he was made felt welcomed and was treated as an actual person not an appointment or number. He had everything explained and had all his questions and concerns addressed. He feels really great and confident for his GA appointment and he knows he is in great hands first and foremost. Fantastic experience: I drove all the way from Bakersfield for a consultation, I was a few minutes late but the staff was so understanding and polite and worked me in to the schedule, the doctor was patient cause I had a lot of questions. The assistant was wonderful and was so nice to my daughter, thank you everyone for explaining everything.

Fantastic experience: This is a nice place. Staff is friendly, very nice and they get straight to the point. I arrived early so I expected to have a wait but as soon as I was in the back the surgeon came in very quickly to meet with us. All in all a very nice place.

Fantastic experience: The first exam consultation was great and they made my son and I feel comfortable especially with him on the spectrum they had so much patience with him and kept him comfortable. Than he recieved work 2 weeks later and staff was amazing everything went great it was pretty quick

Fantastic experience: They took the time to ask all the necessary questions about my daughter’s medical history and treated us very nicely and was willing to work with us. My daughter was turned away from multiple dental facilities due to her medical history. So the refusals I understood, but my daughter needed to be seen and the fact that they’re more than willing to work with us to get her the dental care she needs makes my heart very happy. I wish there were more places like this. Highly recommend if you have a child with serious medical history.

Positive experience: Initial exam was great. They were very friendly, the entire staff was throughout the visit honestly. They were detailed in explaining the process and possible outcome of the actual procedure date. The wait time to see the actual dentist was a bit long though but still, not as bad as other visits I’ve had at other dentist/doctor offices. Will be returning for the procedure but for now, as a first time visitor, good experience.

Fantastic experience: The staff are always willing to help, Hannah goes the xtra mile to help with treating and shes always so nice, respectful and friendly. Shes very knowledgeable, shes always available when needed.

Negative experience: This place is a joke… came in for a consultation for my daughter I waited for about 3hrs for the Dr to go in with her..Then came back for her actual procedure, I waited for 2hrs in the lobby and then got taken in to the “pre op room” Waited in there for another 1hr and when I asked how much longer of a wait it would be they would say “about 20minutes more” waited about half an hr more, asked one of the ladys in the front if it would be a while still she then responded to me “She should be up shortly there was 2 patients infront of her and usually when we call to confirm we let you know it could be a 3-6hr WAIT, no where in there do they say the WAIT time is 3-6hrs long they tell you “Expect to be here any where from 3-6hrs” they don’t emphasize that the WAIT TIME its self can be any where from 3-6hrs … Mind you we got there at 8am for her appt time and there was no other patient in there… Had 2 children arrive maybe 30min to 1hr after her who got taken back before her… Never coming back I decided to give them a 2nd chance after the first appt but it didn’t work out

Negative experience: I scheduled my son here through a referral because he has a disability. I gave them my info and even got a reminder text message about his appointment a few days beforehand and his appointment still got canceled without my knowledge. I wasted my time showing up which is frustrating... they said they called a different number which was not even mine (how do they not call my # when i got an appointment reminder text?) Hopefully the next time we come back it's a better experience.

Negative experience: Not sure how the procedure itself is going to go. Wait time is ridiculous though, appointment for 1130, hour wait in the waiting room. Finally called in the back, another 1hr wait in pre opp nurse office. No "sorry we are running late" or anything even close. Not professional.

Fantastic experience: I would like to share our experience with our 4 year old getting surgery. The Anesthesiologist, Dentist, Nurse and Assistant were so nice and comforting. Knowing that the parents come in scared and ask about 1000 questions, they are completely understandable and make us feel comfortable and less worried throughout the whole process. They speak to you calmly and show you pictures and give examples as to how the whole process goes. The anesthesiologist you can already tell is good with kids and very friendly, if only I remembered his name but he was so kind to my curly haired son calling him mini Justin Timberlake This whole experience as a first time mom went so great! By the end of the day my son was walking and acting normal. He also calls and checks up before the day ends which is very appreciated. I wouldn’t want to go through this again with my child, but I can assure your child will be in good hands! Nothing but kind words to these lovely people.

Negative experience: My child had an apt this morning, showed up to find out we had been canceled. They did not have my correct number to begin with and would not accommodate us after driving from out of town. The receptionist was being rude & had a smirk on her face. Morning ruined !

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old daughter had her surgery here and staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was so scared to put my daughter under anesthesia just for dental work, but she needed a lot of teeth worked on. Her dentist was Dr. Sara Alhabli and she was fantastic. Even the anesthesiologist (wish I had his name) made me feel so at ease and he made the process fun for my daughter. Something to consider, this is not a hospital so if an emergency were to arise then they would call an ambulance and transport to Kaweah Hospital. Also, inquire about silver caps and if they will be visible from the front, we did not catch along the way that our daughters silver caps would be placed on some front teeth. We would have requested to pay extra for white if we realized this beforehand. This is a cosmetic complaint and may not be a concern to you. Overall, we had a great experience and I’m so thankful they took such good care of my baby girl.

Negative experience: Wait time is ridiculous. They set an appt time and don’t call you until 4 horas + after your set appt. Went to check in at 8:50 appt was set at 9:30 still 1pm and have not been called yet to have my child in for treatment.

Fantastic experience: We went for my daughter’s initial appointment to discuss her procedure that she may receive. Front desk were nice and patient. Dentist assistant and dentist were very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. Still nervous for the actual procedure appointment but they made me feel more comfortable about it.

Fantastic experience: Actually seen at the time of my appointment it seems that never happens at most dental offices I’ve been to. So far my son has only done his exam but let me tell u……. The assistant. Was awesome!!! She Explained what to expect upon return. She was super smooth with X-rays Which is usually not so great of an experience for my son. The dentist was able to c him quickly and took time to explain the work to be done. Great experience good atmosphere.

Negative experience: I am beyond devastated by the treatment my child received at this dental office. We came in for what should have been a routine procedure to cap a few teeth. X-rays showed ONE cavity on the bottom row. Instead, they capped 19 teeth and performed 7 unnecessary root canals on my child. The trauma my daughter has experienced from this unnecessary, aggressive work is something no child should go through. Every dentist we’ve seen since has been shocked and disgusted by the work they did. Also multiple dental office we have seen stated they will no longer be referring ANYONE here and cut ties with them. This was not only medically unjustified, but it also reeks of insurance fraud. I cannot believe they would look at a child and do something so harmful. Parents, please beware of this office. What they did to my daughter is unforgivable, and they deserve to be held accountable for the pain they caused.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely hesitant to bring my daughter here after the multiple negative reviews, but in the end, I was beyond pleased with our experience. Her check-in time was scheduled for 1 o'clock, and they actually called me and were able to get my daughter in sooner than that, which was a plus because I know the fasting time worries a lot of parents. Upon arrival, there was no waiting. We went met with the nurse and answered basic medical questions, and she answered all the questions that I had. After that, the dentist who would be performing the surgery met with me and explained all the work that he would be doing and also said that they were going to take new xrays to see if any changes to the treatment plan needed to be made and that I would have to sign off on any of the changes. He also took the time to show me products to get for my daughter to help maintain optimal oral hygiene post operation and after. Then, I met with the anesthesiologist, and he explained everything that he was going to be doing and answered any questions and also gave me a heads up of what to look out for post anesthesia should a problem arise. Then my daughter was brought back, and I signed off on the changes after I was shown the new xrays, and an hour after that, we were on our way home. I also can not say enough good things about the nursing staff, recovery staff, and front office staff. The next day, the office called to check on my child and also has sent multiple messages checking on her as well. Don't hesitate to bring your babies here they are in the best hands and will be well taken care of. You won't regret it!! Thanks again to The Children's Dental Surgery Center of Visalia. You guys have made a stressful event as positive of an experience as it can be.

Negative experience: They made me pay completely out of pocket for my daughter's surgery and told me I would be reimbursed once the insurance paid. Needless to say its been a year and I cannot get ahold of anyone or get any information regarding any sort of reimbursement.

Fantastic experience: Went in for our first visit (consultation) and it was super quick! Filled out paperwork on iPad, within 5min of filling out my information for my child I was called to the back, assistant and Dr were very friendly and explained everything to me & answered all my questions. Will return soon for the treatment appt.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about this place! My 4 year old had an emergency tooth situation and not only did they get him the next morning but the Dr. called that evening and had us prep for an emergency procedure if necessary. The day of, everyone was very accommodating, helpful, and comforting of my son. It did take a while to get his procedure done due to him being squeezed it but that was expected and we prepared for since we were informed of the wait the night before. The procedure was quick and everything was explained to me prior to the start of it. Overall very very happy and would highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old had her procedure done last week, 3 extractions, 2 baby root canals, and 7 crowns. I was dreading having her put to sleep etc, this was her first time. The staff and doctors were amazing! Treated us very well, went through the process with us making sure we understood everything, and helped us feel comfortable. The surgery went great! I'm very pleased with how well they treated my daughter as well as myself and husband.

Negative experience: I was told to come in at 12:30 my sons appt was 1:00 didn’t get called until close to 3:00pm how long do you expect a kid to go without eating or drinking? Come on people

Negative experience: Very unprofessional,disrespectful and rude. My son had an appointment we were 11 minutes late due to my son has another appointment prior to follow up dental appointment. I confirm the appointment the day before and informed the person we will be 10-15 minutes late due to his two appointments back to back. She said we have grace period you will be fine. The day of appointments got there at 11:11 the receptionist Samatha said need to reschedule the appointment because I am 11 minutes late and the grace period is 10 minutes. Samantha stated that they are running behind so appointment has to be rescheduled. There were 4 patients waiting in the waiting room. Every time my son goes there we are waiting room minimum 30-40 minutes. I never complained that why I have to wait. First time we were late 11 minutes and they refused to see my son. My son has autism he got very upset why he didn’t see his dentist. When you have a special kid then you will realize how hard it is to explain why the dentist didn’t see him. Asked to speak with manager. The rude receptionist stated my manager Stephanie is not here she will call you whenever she will have chance. Now I will wait for manager see I will get a call. My son is going there for almost couple year never had this kind of incident. Felt like she was just discriminating. I wish I never have to deal with that rude, unprofessional receptionist again.

Negative experience: Poor service my son had smashed in his front 4 teeth and they said the we’re going to push this to get him fixed fast and told me to call them ASAP to see a cancel when I got the cancellation appointment through a call, they didn’t respect it and said I didn’t have one. Now my son has to wait until 17th October to start eating solid food and is getting weak due to not being able to eat. Thank you for your help and understanding. I don’t know if you have kids but I would think that you will do anything to help you’re son. My son has full coverage and can be seen any time don’t need approval I called my insurance they said they did know why they wouldn’t help him.

Negative experience: If your only other option is the end of the Earth go there instead! They will lie to you, talk down to you, say one thing and do another~change the treatment plan while your child’s asleep! I think a lot of these positive reviews are probably fake. RUN. Go ANYwhere else but here!

Negative experience: Confirmed my sons appointment my phone the day before, and while at the office the day of appointment they cancelled it and told me he would only be seen if others didnt come in. Completely unprofessional office

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and unorganized! I made the appointment a month in advanced and called to CONFIRM my appointment day before. When I got there the day of on time, they said my appointment was set for an earlier time. I asked to speak to a manager and didn’t speak to no one! Only the lady in the front that informed me that if the doctors two upcoming appointments didn’t show we will be seen. 40 mins later of waiting she proceeded to phone call one of the upcoming appointment if they were on their way. Not to mention a teenager took in their sibling and they just asked for the parents name! That’s when I got up and left!!! Never recommending!! This place needs to be looked into.

Positive experience: 3 stars because the doctors and nursing staff were fantastic. Your billing practices are deceitful. You overcharged us for the procedure on the date of service of our daughter’s procedure, and are now withholding the discount promised to us for paying in full on the date of service. The facility also couldn’t give me a price on the zirconia caps they asked me if I wanted when my daughter was already sedated, and said they’d bill me for the difference if I wanted them. The providers were great but steer clear if you want straightforward and honest billing practices

Negative experience: Rescheduled 2 times on the day of the appointment because they get backed up each reschedule was over a month away . When I finally got my son’s appointment check in time was 10:30 am . Couldn’t eat all day and was finally attended at 3:00 pm . Almost 5 hours later. And reminder he couldn’t after 11pm the day before his appointment so a 6 years old with no eating for over 15 hours. I say look for a more organized place.

Negative experience: Bad Customer. They refused my son for treatment because I refused to pull his tooth out. So they won’t see him again. So if you decided not to pull your kids I don’t recommend to take them there.

Positive experience: If you bring your kids here just make sure to call them everyday because they change appointments without any notification and expect you to just know.

Fantastic experience: Great experience from start to finish. Due to how busy they are, my sons first appt was scheduled about a month out but they told me if there was any cancellations they would call me to get him in sooner and sure enough I was able to have him seen the following week. He just had his procedure done yesterday and the staff was very professional. I liked that I was able to meet the anesthesiologist and dentist who was going to be performing the surgery. Definitely recommend them for any oral surgery your child may need.

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my 5yo and 6yo foster children here for extensive dental work. The staff was amazing at working with the necessary paperwork and social workers to get it set up. Upon arrival, every person was welcoming. They were extremely kind and were patient with my kids and this nervous mom! I feel like I asked a hundred questions and the nurse was very patient in answering. The follow up call for both kids the next day was appreciated. The facility was clean and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others who need it!
