Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this office since I was about 10 years old, and I truly regret ever trying other places after having several negative experiences elsewhere. I finally decided to return to Dr. B, and I’m so glad I did. I still remember as a teen, another physician once told me I had several cavities. When Dr. B examined me, he said I only had one very small cavity and that he didn’t want to drill unnecessarily—he’d just keep an eye on it. That moment showed me that Dr. B is honest and not someone who performs unnecessary procedures just to bill insurance. When he recommends treatment, it’s because he genuinely wants to preserve your teeth. Recently, I had a root canal done and was extremely nervous about the pain. I can honestly say that Dr. B has perfected his technique—I didn’t feel any pain at all during the procedure. He truly cares about his patients, consistently checking in to make sure you’re comfortable and not in pain. The cleaning I received was also exceptional—thorough, gentle, and far better than experiences I’ve had elsewhere. In the past, inadequate cleanings left me more prone to cavities, but this visit was done with real care and precision. Overall, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of care and professionalism from Dr. B and his team. Their integrity, skill, and compassion set a high standard for dental care. I highly recommend this office to anyone seeking trustworthy and exceptional service.

Negative experience: I recently came in for a cleaning and want to start by saying Brooke, the hygienist, was wonderful. She was kind, and did a great job. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was very disappointing. Before I left, the receptionist (Mary) asked about scheduling my cavity treatments. I explained that I have an appointment scheduled with an endodontist for a tooth that needs a root canal and that I prefer to wait until I know my April work schedule before booking my fillings. I clearly stated that I would call back to schedule once I had that information. Despite repeating this several times because she kept trying to push scheduling an appointment for the next day, I felt pressured and uncomfortable. I was also told that if I “waited longer I would need root canals”. That statement felt alarming and inappropriate, especially coming from someone who is not the dentist. It came across as her trying to scare me and it seems like they are really just wanting your money. That is so wild to say to a patient as a receptionist. Does Mary treat everyone like this? I understand offices encourage patients to schedule treatment, but repeatedly pushing after I had already said no felt dismissive and disrespectful of my schedule and personal circumstances. Patients should feel listened to, not pressured.

Fantastic experience: I recently underwent a dental cleaning by Brooke, an exceptional dental hygienist. I consistently received exceptional care from this office. The staff is both courteous and professional. Dr. Bui is an outstanding dentist.

Fantastic experience: Well first off Kylee was my hygienist and did an amazing job during my cleaning. Made me laugh during the entire time, talking about how we thought about the dentist office from childhood to adulthood. It really was to tier of an experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. After that I had gotten a crown on a tooth I had damaged some weeks ago, and Dr Bui was the gentleman who did stellar work. Any time he was about to do anything, he calmly told me to give any signal if something was hurting or just uncomfortable. I had zero feelings of that whatsoever. I went in and seemed like I was out in an instant. I highly recommend sequoia dental to anyone who has any needs, and furthermore I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for the hospitality and kind nature that facility provides. Negative experience: Very unhappy went just cause I had a chip filling they advised they had to put a crown on then talked me into getting their insurance which only covers their clinic for 1400 . So they took exrays said I needed 2 more possible crowns . Had another filling redone because when I went back for uncomfortable feeling and pain not to mention biting the sides of my cheeks because of bite be off with crown. They told me I had another chipped tooth , I really feel the dentist chipped it the first time. Since then I have had problems with pain cold and bitting cheeks told to wait 6 mo to see if it get better if not will need a root canal more money. No saving with insurance very unhappy didn’t have these problems before .

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist but this was a very positive experience. I’ve never had such a pain free filling, Dr. Burgess did the numbing injection and I didn’t even feel it. Everyone was very kind and helpful! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Great dental cleanings but they will try to sell you on an Invisalign-like product for $6,000+ that widens your lower jaw to solve sleep disorder, snoring, stress, anxiety, and more. The dentist tells you it works with certainty. Don't fall for it. Here are the facts: It is NOT a scientifically validated treatment approach. If you’re already in dental/sleep medicine and looking to expand your toolset, it might be of interest—but not as a replacement for evidence-backed methods like CPAP and MADs. For $6,000, you’re buying a chance at future innovation, not a currently certified gold-standard method.

Negative experience: Had been coming to them for over 3 years in the beginning they were really good. Recently not so much. Long wait times and even waiting for them to start work took long. The last time I went in for a cavity filling and it took 30+ minutes I was waiting for the dentist. Each time even for just cleanings all the appointments are too long over 1-1 1/2 hours. Ridiculous! Had to switch providers due to this.

Positive experience: I use to love this place! Unfortunately todays visit was not the best. The receptionist told me to come back when I am financially prepared. When I was told I would not pay anything of my next cleaning.I waited and did not even get a cleaning done because the hygienist stated not enough time she took her time to check my insurance provider and scheduled me for another day for a cleaning So I basically waisted 40 min of time….

Fantastic experience: I Have an implant procedures done. I felt no pain even the injection of anaesthesia . It can be stressful and nervous times that they will placed a titanium in your gums . But Dr Bui made me feel at ease that it will be ok . I have an amazing experience with my implant. I recommend dr bui as the best dentist and Sequioa dental for all dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I've had numerous procedures done with Sequoia Dental, each one just as pleasant as the last. The techs are always very friendly, scheduling is a worry-free experience and always done in a timely manner. The doctors always want to make sure I'm numb before starting and continue to check as the procedures continue. The longest I've had to wait is 20 minutes in the lobby with a scheduled appointment, but in their defense, this was during covid. Don't get comfy in the lobby, you'll be getting called back before you do. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: When I was in 5th grade I started feeling what I called an electrical shock when my front top teeth touched the bottom teeth. The pain was intense and went from my bottom tooth up my face. The dentist did an exam and told my mom my teeth were perfect except for the slight slant of my bottom tooth that gave me pain. The pain stopped briefly, but returned two months later and a swollen dark bump appeared by that bottom tooth. The dentist then told my mom I needed a root canal. I was in 5th grade! He could not numb my mouth, but continued working on the root canal for an hour. I was held down and in so much pain, it felt as if I were being tortured. He finally decided to finish it the next day. I was sent home without pain medication. The next day he still couldn’t numb my mouth, but worked another hour on my tooth before deciding he had to pull it. I was traumatized by this experience. So, any time I need to go to a dentist gives me terrible anxiety. I met with Dr. Stanic yesterday. What a wonderful dentist and person he is. He and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. They came up with a dental plan that I’m happy with and I left feeling that I would be taken care of. My husband and daughter also go to Sequoia Dental Office. They encouraged me to make an appointment and I’m so happy I gave them a chance.

Negative experience: Absolute worst service I have ever received from the front desk of a medical office. Not to mention the actual dental care was mediocre at best.

Positive experience: When they take X-rays they can't do it right the first time and kept doing it over and over and they won't let you refuse them. It is was not the first time. Twice the dose at half the price. The rest of the place was OK. Went in for a gum infection it was overlooked and got worse..

Fantastic experience: I was having a lot of pain on my right side, was told by another dentist I had gum issues, I was referred to a periodontist but couldn’t be seen for over a month. I knew something was wrong, I was having way too much pain, I looked up other dentists and found sequoia dental, they got me in that day and found that I needed a root canal. I saw Dr. Bui and he is an excellent dentist, he made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole process, he made it so easy to get through. I’m very thankful but I will say I wish they offered some kind payment plan, financially it was a hardship to pay my out of pocket portion but I am so very thankful for the help! THANK YOU DR. BUI

Fantastic experience: I recommend this office to everyone! I have a horrible gag reflex, especially during taking X-rays. Of course I had a hard time at first, but everyone was very patient with me and even gave me tissues when I teared up. After the X-rays were done, the doctor joked around with me, made me feel comfortable, and we came to a solution very fast. Not to mention the staff was very quick with the numbers and costs and even scheduling for my next appointment. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bui is an amazing dentist who tirelessly works on my teeth. His only concern during my procedures is that I'm not feeling any pain. He constantly checks in with me to see if I an in pain. He has been my dentist for more than 5 years. I have a deteriorating bone disease and need a lot of work done on a regular basis. Dr. Bui never judges me or chastises me for needing more work done. In fact, he praises me for how well I am caring for my teeth and gums despite my medical condition. I drive 4 hours round trip to have Dr. Bui work on my teeth and I will continue to do so. The office staff is excellent, everyone knows me and I'm always greeted with a smile. I would recommend Sequoia Dental to everyone I know.
