Vanessa the hygienist was informative and Dr. Patel and Crystal the assistant was very efficient and knowledgeable when I had questions. Will continue going here. Highly recommend

Positive experience: First time back in 7 years. Lots of remodels with new spaces and changed spaces. Limited adult seating, but lots of kid space. Attentive technicians, familiar with the latest developments in dental technology, who take their time with you. Dr Castillo is very friendly and knowledgeable about what services you actually need vs what can wait. The wait time took away a star.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place to take your children. The staff are patient and kind. They have seating for parents so you can be with your children. The doctors are knowledgeable and helpful. I've never had a bad experience! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a really bad toothache and needed to see someone asap. They were sensitive to my problem and got me scheduled immediately. I m very nervous about going to the dentist. Phobic… Being in pain encouraged me to sit the anxiety to the side. Everyone in the entire office did their part to make me comfortable. Very great bedside manner here. They are definitely a five star facility.

I had an appointment at the same time and they made sure to watch over and help my 4 year old be comfortable and confident in her appointment! ( and keep me updated) She was able to do her full visit ( xrays, cleaning, and exam)with ease and comfort. Ty Annah, Ari, Vanessa, Crystal, and Dr. Castillo for making sure my girl had an amazing visit. Ty to my Hygienist Martha and Dr. Patel my visit for treatment and cleaning went smooth with no discomfort. Great Team ! Front was very friendly as well. Office is very welcoming. They went out of their way to make the visit comfortable for not just myself but also my tag along toddler. They had excellent team work, and made my visit quick and easy.

Fantastic experience: I had been trying to find a good dentist for the last month that could pull two abscessed teeth that I had. I tried 12 different dentist in Beaumont area. Several of them had said I needed to go to an oral surgeon and that they wouldn't attempt it without a full face x-ray. I am so happy that I went here instead. They did a fantastic job and made me feel more than comfortable. I would recommend them over all the dentist that I've seen in the Beaumont area. The office staff was more than helpful also. I will be going here from now on.

Fantastic experience: Very comfortable, dental assistant (Crystal) was spectacular, the Dentist Dr. Patel was very knowledgeable and coached me through my experience! Well I had a bad experience with this same dentist on 12/02/2025, I was accidentally stabbed at the top of my mouth during an extraction, she never documented it nor would she take accountability for it. Instead she’s calling it a scratch and trying to make it seem like I developed an ulcer due to the so called scratch. I don’t get ulcers and have never had an ulcer, it was literally a hole I’ve since switched dentist but still in that same office and my new dentist is Dr. Castillo, he’s very patient and explains everything he does. Overall the dental office is a great dental office!!!!!

Fantastic experience: So far, I have found this place to be God sent. From the staff being kind and patient with my daughter and me, and doing their best to make us comfortable. Dr. Alexander Castillo was a great listener to my questions and concerns. My daughter had her first tooth pulled and a filling, so I had to leave her room which I was worried about to make my appointment. Thank God one of my sister in the Lord worked there (Pleasant surprise) and she took good care of her which made me comfortable and found out my daughter had a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care! Southern Oaks has always given the best care. I was sad when my insurance changed and I had to switch dentist. Thankfully my new insurance plan has them as a provider. Dr Patel has been at Southern Oaks for years and I was so happy she is my dentist again. She took the time and corrected recent dental work that was done at another dental practice. Minor adjustments made a world of difference in my bite. Southern Oaks is the top tier dental provider in this area. Don’t waste your time, money, and oral hygiene going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Went today with my three children, appt was at 2, they had us out by 2:45. They were thorough, completed cleaning & sealants, very informative and patient. Each person we encountered seemed to live their job & we’re glad to be helpful. Very team spirited environment. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I love going to this dental office which says a lot when I am super NERVOUS to go to the dentist. Today was my second visit there and all went well with me and my appointment. The front desk ladies are so helpful with their big smiles and dental knowledge. The billing person was very good at explaining charges and etc. Martha is absolutely incredible. She was my dental hygienist last time. She was so warm and cleaned my teeth perfectly. She was also quite gentle which I certainly appreciated. Today Bailey served as my dental hygienist, and she was so very sweet. I was nervous again as I mention but she allowed me to be my chatty self while keep me calm while waiting on Dr. Patel to my filling and to measure me for a night guard for my TMJ. Even with the laughing gas I cannot say I was 100% relaxed but Dr. Patel assured me I would be fine. She told me if I felt any pain to raise my left hand and she would immediately stop…She did just that. I was grateful for her attentiveness, kindness, and level of expertise. I loved that the office is super clean and all equipment seems cleaned and sterilized as well. Thanks, Southern Oaks dental office I will always highly recommend you guys.

My son was afraid about getting a shot, but the dentist had such a great technique in administering the shot without him even noticing that it was being done. I'm so thankful for the patience he & the dental assistant had with my son who also has ADHD & has a hard time sitting still for very long. We would definitely recommend Southern Oaks Dental Care.
