Fantastic experience: When we moved from Idaho to Indiana we went searching for a new family dentist. We really loved our dentist and hygienists in Idaho so we were really hoping to find the same here and we have! The office staff, hygienists and dentists are all just wonderful. It is always a very positive and pain free experience and we are happy to have found our new dental office on the first try!!

Negative experience: Horrible overall experience. Horrible staff and service. I could not get my bill for 2 weeks but they kept sending review texts. Then when I get the bill I send it to my insurance and it gets sent to them and then on a SUNDAY they tell me it’s just going to go back to the original payment. No phone call, a text on a Sunday. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: I was seen on same day by Dr. Todd. I had lots of mouth pain and he immediately gave treatment for quick relief. Dr Todd and entire staff at Harrison Dental could not have been more accommodating and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great dental services.

Fantastic experience: My dentist anxiety is 15 out of 10, and pain tolerance nil. The folks at the Winchester Road office were super understanding and empathetic. Their kindness was a Godsend. Dr. Cole saw my discomfort, and was able to use gentler, rubber tipped tools, so that the pain level was tolerable. I cannot thank them enough.

Negative experience: I have many friends that come here so I decided to give them a try but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to new patients. My first appointment felt more like a sales pitch, they spent quite a few minutes trying to sell me a Waterpik. Later they told me I urgently needed a deep cleaning done in 2 seperate sessions with numbing. They also told me I had 4 cavities that needed to be taken care of soon. They said they couldn't get started on anything that day so when I tried to make an appointment to get all my dental work done, they didn't have any openings with the dental hygienist soon. With all this, my plan was gonna be pricey even with my insurance and since they told me a I urgently needed to get this taken care of I went with another dentist. This other dental office did my cleaning in my first visit in one session and no numbing and they also told me I had no cavities. Was very confused why Harrison dental had told me all thoses things, months passed and my teeth are fine so I'm glad I decided to get a second opinion

Positive experience: The tech and doctor could have been a bit more personable. Introductions are always great when being so intimately close to someone’s face. X-rays were the most efficient of the three locations we’ve visited thus far. Front desk staff was the friendliest by far of the three locations we’ve visited this summer.

Dr. Harrison and his staff have always treated me with respect and they always try to make my appointments a pleasant experience. The office staff members are well trained and professional. They have always treated me like a family member.

She made sure I was comfortable and was really good at explaining things she saw that I could improve upon and how I could do it. When I left, they were quick to find appointments for cavity fillings that worked with my schedule. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend this group.

Negative experience: They tried to move my appointment out another 3 months after they made the mistake of scheduling it at the wrong location which I also waited several months for even though I had been going there for many years. Started going there when Dr. Argus was there. I just loved Dr.Argus! The place has gone downhill so I found a new place that actually has time for my appointments and will admit when they have made a mistake!

Negative experience: They asked me to remove my comment on their other office, but they didn't resolve the issue on why I've been black listed to see them, I asked why they I needed to be numb to do a cleaning then they asked me to leave. Where is the professional in the dentist? How was I wrong that I asked a question? I recommend taking your family elsewhere

Negative experience: This practice has really gone downhill the last few years. Now it’s more of a money grab that doesn’t care about the wellbeing of their patients. After 17 years it’s time to find a new dentist. I got a filing 2 weeks ago and it fell out. I have severe pain and sensitivity. The girl scheduling finally called back but claims there are no appointments at any location at any time with any dentist for 3 weeks. I got online and looked and found and earlier one under “new patient/emergency care” but you have to call to make the appointment and I got the same girl. Absolutely ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Jessica did the most gentle and the most thorough cleaning that I’ve had in a long time! Very pleasant and helpful. Met the new Dentist, very friendly and calming. Clean, efficient facility.

Fantastic experience: This lady Jessica who does my teeth cleaning, it’s peaceful and quiet for her since I don’t talk while she cleans my teeth, she is so friendly and understanding. All questions I asked and answered, I’m keeping her my go to for now on and out! Normally I hated going to dentist appointments because most don’t really interact and hurried for next one. I’m glad I have patience for finding the right one who can do my teeth. It’s her, Jessica. She’s awesome. :)

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice office, clean, helpful staff and our doctors have been great. I really need to praise Melanie, she helped us with an insurance issue and spent countless hours documenting and sending in claims that kept getting rejected by no fault of hers. Anthem would not help out at all and she made several follow up calls and sent in countless documents they required. In the end after all the work she finally was able to get our claim covered. We appreciate her so much. Thanks Melanie you are a rock star employee and Harrison is very lucky to have someone like you there looking out for their clients. I would give her 6 stars if I could!

Positive experience: The path getting to the appointment was rocky but once I made it to the appointment itself, the experience was great. I scheduled online and filled out paperwork online. Before I even set foot in the office I was called three times. The first time they left a message telling me they needed me to fill out paperwork and to reschedule because the online calendar I scheduled on was incorrect. My thought process with this is why offer this option if it’s not working correctly and requires front desk to reach out to reschedule? I called back and spoke to someone which was call two. During this call I was told that I needed to clarify what the appointment was for and I also confirmed they had my documents I had filled out online. They confirmed, they confirmed the day and time of the appointment and didn’t even mention the scheduling issue and then told me to go to the wrong location. I called back and confirmed that the location was actually the one I wanted and they confirmed and apologized for the mix up. Then I get another call a day before the appointment asking me to reschedule because the calendar online was incorrect. I chose a time and moved my day around to make it work. Day of the appointment I get another call asking me if I wanted to come in half an hour earlier than had just been agreed upon the day prior. This was a voicemail left on my phone because I was getting ready to attend the appointment at the new time I had changed it to. So much back and forth but I got to the appointment. The front desk was kind, attentive, and made sure to make the check in easy. The hygienist was very nice too. I have a very anxious kid (the patient) so to have a hygienist that was so soft spoken and patient was helpful. My child didn’t seem to get super anxious for once which is a huge win because usually the dentist is a very high anxiety/stress situation. The dentist himself was great too. He seemed to just be himself and was attentive and kind. He too, didn’t seem to alarm my kid which again, HUGE WIN. Overall the in person experience made it worth it and caused me to decide to make an appointment for myself. Maybe the lead up was a fluke but the experience overall was positive. They redeemed themselves well!

Negative experience: I have been to 2 of Harrison Dentals offices and they are just as rude and unpersonable at both locations as if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to be served by them. The estimate is a total joke, they said that I had to do things in a certain order for my insurance to pay for everything, that didnt happen at all, something that was billed a month or 2 before and the second thing was paid by the insurance first and they told me they cant control when the insurance will bill something, so then because of this ever so mysterious payment taking place it made me have to pay a few hundred dollars and I was left right there. No help, just a problem for me to figure out. I also got a $300 teeth whitening, that literally did nothing, told the girl up front and she said it is still working and I needed to give it time, I gave it time, I may as well of thrown money out the window in that time.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at this Dentist for many years, always kept my appointment. I had an appointment in October, went to appointment and it was canceled without me knowing. Due to short staffing, no called was made. I made another appointment in same month. Arrived again and was not on schedule. This time they used that I did not confirm appointment. The incompetent workers did not show any concern , only Excuses and Lies. Getting into the Dentist to fit your schedule is hard and someone cancels your appointment like you are there CHILD. NO notice is given to you when they are running behind. And to top that off, why did the incompetent worker. Want me to make appointment for the Third time. My Time was wasted and Gas. No body gives a Dame. Just remember without Patients, you have no Business. I would not suggest any one to use this office NEVER.

Fantastic experience: I have 2 previous times coming here and I failed to get through the dental cleaning because of my hyper sensitivity in my gag reflex. Ended up throwing up both times. I decided to go back one more time to determine if it was me or the dentist. I was happy to find they assigned me to a different hygienist to do the cleaning. Her name was Susan. She kept me distracted from my reflexes, made sure she gave me breaks and kept encouraging me that it was mind over matter affecting me. Little by little she worked with me to get through it. I'm so happy I finally could get my teeth cleaned fully no insides spewed out this time. Shout out to Susan who made my experience a good one!

Positive experience: This hygienist today was very helpful offered great advice. Did well on todays cleaning..On my previous visit a different hygienist knocked a filling out, cracking a wisdom tooth and yet it comes out of my pocket to fix it. Not even an apology.

Negative experience: This place (Winchester Rd location) is THE most unprofessional dental office our family has ever been to. This is the THIRD time they have rescheduled/canceled a member of our family and not told us. I have once again showed up at 8am for an appointment that I’ve had for months and the gal at the desk told me I wasn’t on the schedule because I hadn’t confirmed my appointment. I never received a call/text/email about the appointment at all. The best she could offer was to mess up my WHOLE day and have me come back at 11am. The previous appointment the gal rushed through my mouth and was messy and huffy the whole time. They canceled my daughter’s appointment previously and when I tried to reschedule it the soonest they could “fit her in” after missing her 6 month cleaning was in 4 more months!!!!!! Don’t waste your time with this office like we have. Nice location, nice looking office, that’s about it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care! Dr. Orman and Maria took wonderful care of my 6 year old who was very nervous for his dental procedure. They took the time to explain the instruments to him and asked if there was any pain often. They works together with ease at a quick pace while passing the instruments out of view of my son. I was very impressed and thankful for for this team that gave exceptional care. My son was surprised when everything was complete because he did not feel anything!

Negative experience: Excellent space with relatable, friendly people, and quality dental care. 10/10. Edit: I arrived for my 2:00pm appointment, and waited until 2:30 pm while other patients went in and out. When i went to the recieptionist to reschedule (for time issues), So asked her if there was a reason why i couldnt be seen at 2 today. She asked me if i had checked in, and i said no. She said that i had to check in always. I mentioned that out of all my previous visits, probably 10 give or take, i never checked in. She said that shes been there for a year and its always been checking in. I asked her to cancel my appointment instead, and ill make a new one when i need a dentist, and she did. She was very polite, and professional, her tone was soft, she wasnt rude at all....but she had zero customer service skills, lack of empathy, and didnt aknowledge at all that all my previous visits i didnt need to check in, she was just on autopilot. The interaction made sure that i knew it was 100% my fault, even if absolutely all my visits before i just went in, didnt check in, and someone called my name. Maybe my previous times, the other receptionists had people skills and awareness enough to notice me waiting, or recognized me and checked me in, or made eye contact and were super efficient with their job, and i never had to check in. For new customers: Excellent dental services. Just make sure you check in always so you dont waste your day.

Fantastic experience: These front ladies at the south location off of winchester road were so amazing! They were so kind and fun! I had my baby and my friends baby with me. The girls loved the babies and were so friendly. They also gave me a Starbucks coffee cause they had an extra one and insisted I take it because I had 2 babies and the boys!! They were absolutely great!! Made the visit so fun!! My son had a cleaning and the lady who cleaned his teeth was also very kind and attentive. She explained everything so well and made sure I also understood the care plan. Thanks all!!

Fantastic experience: First off let me just say that at 68 years old, I have never been to a dentist that I’d call COMPLETELY pain free. That just doesn’t exist (unless you’re completely under sedation)! But I’d say this one comes pretty darn close. I have been with them for about a year now. Have had a couple of cleanings and just lately two teeth extracted. It was about as comfortable as possible! Plenty of aftercare instructions. Cost after my insurance was reasonable. Unfortunately due to what I don’t consider anyone’s fault, the second on resulted in a dry socket. Like a typical man I tried to manage the pain, but it became too much and it was not healing. So first thing on a Monday morning I stopped in unannounced and within an hour I was in the chair! They cleaned it throughly, packed it and gave me pain gel to take home! And surprisingly no charge! It is 5 days later and pain is almost none existent and I am satisfied! So Harrison Dental Group checks all the boxes for me. Quality work, good aftercare, great office staff and follow up if needed!
