Kathy Is a one of a kind, Dentist. She jokes with me and always gives me five star service. They will work with you on payment plans if money is tight. Give this office a try you won’t be disappointed.

Mira the girl who cleaned my teeth was very thorough. Trudy did an amazing job explaining the whitening procedure! It was absolutely pain free! The front desk girls Katie and Sabrina were very friendly and greeted me with a smile! Andrea, also made me feel fabulous about my new gorgeous white smile! I love my results! It was a concern to try to find a dentist who is good with kids that have anxiety and gentle with treatment and not out to upcharge. We found all this and more with Dr. Jacobsen and staff. We have found our new lifelong family dentist and couldn’t be happier! From checking in to checking out and everything in between, the staff is courteous, thorough and kind. Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years before my first visit to Contemporary Dentistry with Dr. Kathy Jacobsen. From the moment I walked in, everything felt welcoming and professional. I had X‑rays done, then Kathy came in to introduce herself and discuss the work I needed. After that, I was sent for cleaning. I was able to schedule follow‑up appointments based on what I could realistically manage financially, and Samantha at the front desk helped me arrange a plan that worked with my budget. When I returned for three fillings recently, the appointment was extremely quick! Samantha, who assisted Dr. Kathy, was sweet and friendly — we chatted before, during, and after the procedure, which made it feel much more relaxed and personal. Dr. Kathy made the entire experience as easy and pleasant as a dentist appointment could possibly be. It’s clear that she and her staff genuinely love what they do. They’re professional, and attentive — and to top it off, they serve freshly baked cookies every day, which is such a cute and thoughtful touch! Fantastic experience: I recently completed 2 sessions of whitening! Zero gum irritation or tooth pain from the new product they are using. I learned that not all whitening products fit all patients. My bridge I got from the office broke after 2 years and her staff got me in the next day. Dr Jacobsen took care of me and did not charge me a dime for the work! Who does that nowadays? Fantastic experience: Since childhood, I have always had bad experiences going to the dentist. So much so, that as an adult, my anxiety about going to the dentist was so high, that I found myself avoiding the dentist unless and until I had a dental emergency where I had no choice but to go. Just such an incident recently occurred and I dreaded having to find a dentist and then undergo the treatment. I spent several hours searching and reading reviews. I eventually decided to make an appointment with Dr. Jacobsen's office. To date, I've now completed four visits with her office. When I arrived the first time, I told them about my past experiences and of the anxiety I had about going to the dentist. She and her staff listened to my concerns and have since done a fantastic job of alleviating my fears. Dr. Jacobsen and her staff are competent and professional, but beyond that, they have treated me with compassion and kindness. I am so grateful to no longer have this dread I have felt my whole life about going to the dentist. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Fantastic experience: Contemporary Dentistry has redeemed my belief that dental work does not have to be scary or painful. Dr. Jacobsen and her staff showed me such compassion and genuine care and concern. The amount of restoration work that my mouth required has been a several years journey, i have been encouraged through the whole process not to get discouraged and now the results are just tremendous. I am so impressed with Dr. Jacobsen and her team and the amazing results that i received.

I feel like Dr Jacobson has magical powers when it comes to dental implants and any kind of prosthetics. This is a for real, genuine, review and I promise you I am in no way being reimbursed for the good review. Lol. I now have my bottom implants and my partial on the top for my back teeth on both sides, and I literally could not be happier! I promise you you will not be disappointed if you choose Dr Jacobson to restore your smile, and your confidence, of course. At this point I feel like they are family, and I can assure you that if any final tweaks or adjustments need to be made to the finished product, Dr Jacobson will take care of you. That's my money back guarantee, although I really don't have much money to spare so... Lmao. The cliff note version is that her and her staff are amazing and I would not recommend them if I truly do not believe in their talent an expertise with restoring your smile. And that's the honest to God's truth. :)

Negative experience: Once I was no longer a patient I started getting billed for prior services. Overcharged twice for retainers. Advised to keep your receipts, due to the encounter, I had with them. I would never suggest them to anyone in the future.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying, I’ve been terrified of the dentist my whole life.. Dr. Jacobsen came into the exam room and made me feel at ease and comfortable within seconds!! By the end of my appointment, we were sharing pictures of our dogs, talking weekend plans and it felt like I had known her my whole life! Her staff was amazing and dealt with my fears by talking me through every step of the appointment. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I went to my first visit today with extreme anxiety about what I needed. I’m always afraid of the cost, time and pain dental work will take but had convinced myself I needed to start the process. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so pleasant and made me feel comfortable. The doctor didn’t make me feel judged, she made me feel comfortable. Upon review of the plan (with cost) I was surprised that the work that needed to be done was not only affordable but seemed very minor considering I thought my entire mouth needed to be replaced I definitely recommend this office. They are welcoming and affordable. They are also willing to work at your pace!

Negative experience: I love Dr. Jacobsen and the staff. They are always so professional and personable. Very organized set up when it comes to appointment reminders, arrival, and next appointment setup. If any dental works needs to be done, I always get an estimate during my appointment so there aren’t ever any surprises. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist :-) Update: this is such a challenging review to leave because I still think Kathy is such a sweet and kind person. However, I do need to leave my review based on my oral health. I had to change my dentist due to moving out of state and getting different opinions has made me unsure of my experience at contemporary dentistry. My back molar was showing wear and tear back in 2021 and it was recommended to get a crown, which I ended up doing. In 3 years of having this crown, it has fallen off about 4 times which leads my to my new dentist in my new state. The dentist appreciated the conservative approach Kathy did, however, the crown was not going down to my gumline on either side. It caused plaque buildup as my tooth was not fully covered and allowed bacteria to enter. If this was not caught, this could've been bad. Anyway, a whole new cap had to be done. I wish this was done correctly the first time and not putting my tooth in jeopardy. Secondly, I had clear correct done at this office (clear aligners). I wish Kathy recommended me to an orthodontist. The clear aligners actually made my teeth worse. The focus was on getting my front teeth straight, but that meant purposely making my back teeth crooked. This resulted in a cross bite in the back and an open bite. Now I’m on to new aligners that need to be on for over a year by an orthodontist. Lastly, for my annual cleaning I had an x-ray done that showed a cavity under my filling. The new dentist did not say anything, but implied that the cavity has had to of been there at least a year (around my last x ray). I’m not sure if this was missed at my time of visit. Just really sad that a needed a new cap and new aligners, costing me extra money that could’ve been prevented. I recommend 2nd opinions if you visit this office.

Fantastic experience: I have been to a lot of dentist’s in my lifetime. Me having braces for four years I’ve had my fair share of experiences. This is by far the BEST dentist I have been to. Kathy is fast efficient and amazing! I have never got a cavity filled so fast and so well and felt no pain. I 10/10 recommend contemporary dentist to anyone. Great people great service! For once I can say I am happy to go to a dentist!

Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and I'm always able to get in quickly—I'm typically in and out within 20 minutes with no wait time at all. The level of care and attention from the staff is top-notch, and I couldn't recommend them more highly!

As soon as I spoke to Skylar I knew I would be in good hands. It still took a broken tooth to get me in but I was met with so much kindness. Fantastic experience: I had my first cleaning and exam this week. The girls in the office are all amazing!! I didn't understand the technicalities of the health insurance process when I walked in. They took the time to walk me through the entire twisted, convaluted process without any signs of being annoyed by my lack of knowledge. The hygienist was equally as amazing. I could tell she really cared about her job and her patients. Another spectacular thing was everyone seemed to love their job! Let's face it... that's just not common these days! BUT it absolutely shows in the employees attitude and the amount of effort they put in each patient they meet. I'm going in for teeth whitening tomorrow and I've recommended two other friends already! Btw, I loved the doctor. She is by far the most knowledgeable Dentist I've come across in the state of Arizona. Mind you I moved here in 2003 and go every 6 -7 months... so happy I decided to look else where.

Fantastic experience: I want to Thank Contemporary Dentistry. My dentist that I had been going to for 20 years retired and I was looking for a new dentist office. I found it!! They hygienist Norhan was wonderful, friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I learned something new from her. The dentist, Cathy Jacobson came in and did her follow up. She is was friendly and personable. I felt comfortable from the time I walked in the door and sat in the chair. Thank you all for a great first visit. See you all in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: The staff were very nice and made me feel very comfortable during my appointment! Although I haven't been to a dentist in 10 years, they never made me feel embarrassed! The hygienist was able to fit me in for an hour deep clean on my bottom teeth and I was so happy with the results!!! To be honest, I had a spot on my bottom front teeth I suspected to be rotting, but the hygienist was able to remove it! I can see and feel the amazing difference in my bottom teeth and cannot wait to continue on my dental treatment goals! Highly recommend this dentist office to anyone!!!

I used to be anxious at my dentist appointments but Dr. Jacobsen and her staff have turned my stress into a pleasant experience. I love the staff at Dr. Jacobsen’s office.
