Fantastic experience: Dr. Tyson is quick and thorough in checking my dental health. His assistant does a great job of cleaning my teeth. They are always happy to answer my questions and address any concerns that I sometimes have.

Fantastic experience: This was another good visit to Tyson Dental. The technician took a 3D image of my teeth and informed me everything looked good and that Dr Tryson would look at the image later. Rarely do you find consistent, courteous and friendly staffing throughout an entire establishment, but this office has just that. Negative experience: After looking at various Dentists in the area, I chose to schedule with Tyson Dental largely because they mentioned being Christians. After waiting months for my husbands cleaning appointment today, he was texted yesterday about trying to obtain copies of his previous x-rays. By the time he called our old dentist, they had already closed. This morning Tyson Dental refused to see him for his cleaning without a copy of the old x-rays, or being charged out of pocket for a whole new set. They even CHARGED him to reschedule. He had to reschedule other things to make time his appointment this morning and he was only supposed to have a simple cleaning and has no known dental issues. When I called back to cancel his new appointment and spoke to a very unapologetic, rude lady. We have lived in many states and worked with quite a number of dentists office and have never experienced this kind of thing, to be so incredible unworkable and unkind, how ironic that it's the first place I've ever booked because their bio says "Our goal is to glorify God in everything we do." I just switched to a new dentist myself and they me sign a form when I came in for my cleaning to get my old records sent, but gladly saw me and didn't require new x-rays since I'd just had them. I will update to say that someone from billing did call back and refunded the fee they charged my husband, but still not even an apology as to anything that happened. Needless to say, we will definitely be going elsewhere even if it requires a longer drive.

Fantastic experience: I’m new to AL and need a dentist, so took a chance on Tyson Dental. I came in for a general cleaning. By the time I left, I felt like I had a new best friend with my hygienist Kim. Kim was super friendly and sweet and did a great job on my teeth. I really enjoyed the experience. I already set up my next appointment and made sure Kim will be my hygienist. Thank you Kim for your kindness and making me feel welcomed.

Negative experience: This review is for the front desk/customer service. I received a phone call this morning regarding my appointment. I was advised that due to my insurance strict 6 month cleaning policy I would need to pay out of pocket. When I made this appointment 5 months ago during my 1st cleaning, I asked if this would be an issue and they said no. Here we are 5 months later and I get a phone call saying, “Yeah, it is an issue.” (My appointment being on Monday) I even told them I have a second coverage for cleanings on my main insurance…… she didn’t even bother to acknowledge it or even look into it. My last office would use both insurance’s no problem. My biggest issue here is the LACK of customer service. Next time, at least pretend to care. As far as the dentist and staff on the other side, FANTASTIC. No complaints from my last cleaning, was one of the better experiences I’ve had. Would recommend based off that, just avoid the front counter when they aren’t in the mood to assist.

Fantastic experience: Tyson Dental staff shows how much they care about you having healthy and clean teeth. They are the best when it comes to clean teeth!!

Negative experience: This has been, by far, one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a dental office. The customer service is particularly poor. When calling to inquire about pricing for a procedure, I received brief, dismissive answers delivered with a very nonchalant attitude. Most recently, I attempted to schedule an appointment for this Friday and was told, simply, “We’re closed this Friday,” with no further explanation. When I asked why, the response I received was, “Because he took off this Friday,” without clarifying who “he” referred to. This level of communication and professionalism is unacceptable, and it does not instill confidence in the care provided. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Tyson Dental. Fantastic experience: Had a temporary bridge break while I was out of town and i was only anle to get home for 4 hours before i had to depart again. Dr. Tyson worked me and and fixed everything. I've been seeing him for many years and he always does a great job!

Fantastic experience: Tyson Dental has been amazing! My family and I love the dental staff. Everyone is kind, patient and they explain everything very well. You don’t go in blind or come out spending a bunch of money. You can tell they value their customers and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 or 10mins for my appointment.

Fantastic experience: First time customer with a 7:40am appointment filled out paperwork and was called back a little after 8:00am. I was pleased with their professionalism and friendliness of Dr. East and staff. Not thrilled with the thought of having more dental work done I know it must be done to stop the cavities from getting larger.

Fantastic experience: Excellent services, I had a toothache all weekend long. As I was coming up to the office while on the way to work, I. called and asked if I could get seen that day. After a brief pause, "Sure, can you come in now?". I was so relieved since I was already almost there and Dr. Tyson confirmed I had a cracked tooth and infection setting in. Prescriptions filled and appointment made for next week for my tooth extraction relieved me of all the stress I had associated with the cracked tooth. I recommend Tyson Dental to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Dr. Tyson and his team since he first opened next to Kroger on 72 in Madison. I instantly loved him as my dentist. He does superb work, and gives great attention to detail. Appointments have always been on time, and I have never had a dentist more efficient or expeditious! Not careless! Just quick. The anesthesia is super fast now days, even for this redhead of mine! (We require a little more) So, I’m always in and out faster than I expect. All I have are years of compliments to Dr. Tyson and his kind staff. They are a true blessing to have in my corner.
