Negative experience: Bad experience and staff not knowledgeable. First called to see if they provided the service that I needed, which was referred by another dentist. Staff didn't know what teeth bonding was and ended up asking the dentist if they did the service. Dentist said yes, so I scheduled the appt. Once I got there, I specifically asked again if they covered teeth bonding and staff at the desk didn't know what i was talking about. I requested to speak with the dentist before having xrays done, so I (nor insurance) would have to pay for xrays and the place not even provide the service needed. Then the most disappointing things happen, the dentist wouldn't even come talk to me personally and relayed the message through staff that I would need to get xrays done before they would even see me. Now this is very concerning because 1, so I have to pay (xrays) to even see you, to ask questions on your services that obviously your staff don't even know anything about. That is terrible Customer service and seems like you are only out for money. 2, staff stated that they do fillings and if it's anything like a filling, then they do it. Teeth bonding and fillings are similar, but they are different procedures. I would think the actual dentist at the least could have come to speak with me and give their explanation. Why would I even want to give my money to someone unprofessional in this type situation. BEWARE and make sure this place provides you with the correct information and a member of the staff does not try to add their 2 cent. And if you have to pay before even seeing the physician, do like I did and walk the you know what, out!! I'm sure someone at their office will respond to this, but under no circumstance can you explain this Customer service and the dentist not even speaking with me to acknowledge my questions while in your office. Unacceptable.

Any dental procedure—including cosmetic bonding—requires a proper clinical examination and diagnostic X-rays before a dentist can ethically and legally provide recommendations or treatment. This is not about cost; it is a standard of care requirement to ensure patient safety, accuracy of diagnosis, and appropriate treatment planning.
While dental bonding and fillings can be similar in materials, the indication for either cannot be determined without an exam. For that reason, our dentists do not provide clinical consultations or treatment recommendations without first reviewing diagnostic information. This policy is consistent across reputable dental practices.
Regarding communication, we regret that this was not explained clearly or confidently at the front desk, and we will use this feedback as a coaching opportunity to ensure our team is better equipped to explain services and protocols moving forward.
We respect your decision to decline X-rays and leave the office, and we wish you the best in finding a provider that meets your expectations. Our intent is never to pressure patients, but to practice dentistry safely, ethically, and in accordance with professional standards.

Fantastic experience: Thorough cleaning, with goggles against the spray; lead shielding for both dental X-ray and panorex; kind and friendly staff out front and in back; short wait time. Update 1/2/2026: all the above is still true, BUT the online check-in app is terrible: taking 2 pictures of my insurance card, then uploading them, clears every laboriously-completed field in the preceding page. After 4 tries, and 25 wasted minutes, I gave up and completed a manual check-in. Why I had to re-enter so much information anyway, when nothing whatsoever has changed since my last appointment 6 months ago, was not explained.

Fantastic experience: Started out as a long shot. Not sure if I was able to get in as fast as I wished my tooth was aching and I needed help, so I called. They were able to get me in ASAP within the first hour of my office visit.They already had me in the chair committed. They drilled and filled all my cavities unfortunately one tooth was unable to salvage needed to be extracted but it was not a problem Dr Kuvella and Nancy Pop that tooth out I was never as excited to get that pain in the a*' tooth out now. I'm booked for wisdom tooth extraction what a great experience. Never walked out of the dentist office with a smile this day. Fantastic experience: This is easily the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I’d gone without dental care for nearly a decade if not more, because I’m prone to cavities and was always quoted $10k+ to fix everything… so I just never fixed anything. I came here out of desperation because of the worst toothache of my life, and I’m so happy I did. My teeth are completely fixed for less than half of what every other office quoted me. It’s one of the biggest reliefs I’ve felt in years—I can finally drink ice water without pain :) The dentist and staff are all so kind. Everything from booking appointments, to the care from the dentist himself, is top notch. I have literally nothing but amazing things to say.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental offices I have been to. The staff and doctor are all wonderful, always nice and courteous. They were even able to help with my son one time when I was going to have to cancel an appt due to not having a sitter for him. They always have appointments available which is very convenient for a busy mom of two. They have a small play area for the kids which they love. Fantastic experience: Came in today wait was a bit long but once you’re back it doesn’t take long. Ladies are nice office smells great. I hope the work in the long run is as great as my experience. Did schedule to come back 6 Months .

Fantastic experience: My experience with perla dental in Grand Prairie is always the best! I been going since i was little with my siblings and my cousins. They are so nice and professional. Negative experience: The bad build Hispanic girl at the front desk (Nancy) was very rude her body language and sarcastic grin said alot about her stank attitude. Seems as though she didn't want to be at work she half ass explained to me the treatment that I was in need of. And they wonder why it took me 5 years to come back I'm never coming back so please do not call my phone number asking about setting up an appointment. The bad thing is I have brought my kids to Perla dental since they were babies that's 30 something years ago. The young lady that did my x-ray was very nice and patient with me thanks.
