I’ve been going to Lake Nona dental group for years and now it’s just few miles away from my house and a great hygienist. The staff is friendly Professional and the office is beautiful. I’ll be recommending to all my family and friend!

Fantastic experience: Had a filling replaced this am. Efficient, respectful, caring staff. I am very pleased with the treatment I received. Anesthetic was pretty much localized to the affected tooth, and three hours later barely notice any effects.

Negative experience: The dentist drilled my tooth way too hard and now I have nearly constant tooth pain. And I also have a very sharp edge on that side. Every time I eat and hit it I really have a sharp pain in my mouth. It has gotten worse over time. I will have to seek a new dentist. I do not recommend them due to the intense pain from an excessive drill. I had no problem with that tooth before. The staff are a little standoffish. There is a nice refrigerator fully stocked with water.

I will say, my experience has been great. I haven’t had any issues with my teeth so far. In addition, you can text the office any time especially when you’re busy at work. I schedule my appointments or ask questions via text. I referred my immediate family to this location.

Fantastic experience: As a walk-in due to a crown which had fallen off, I knew I was in the perfect place to address my crown when I stated my case. I was given an appt time for the next day. When I arrived for my appt I felt comfortable. The dental assistant and Dr. Coughlin and hygienist were so encouraging and kind. Not pushy in any way. I moved to Saint Cloud from Texas and feared finding a new dentist. I felt at home in this office. I am happy I walked in and very pleased with the treatment I received.

Fantastic experience: I went to my old dental practice Thursday after I had a filling come out. When I got there I found out my old dentist, Dr. Patel, was no longer there. The new dentist told me the tooth, which is the last molar on the top right of my mouth, could not be saved and I would need an extraction. I’m 45 yrs old and have all my natural teeth. I found out Dr. Patel, who I trusted very much, was now working in Lake Nona. I called his new office and they scheduled me the very next day. When Dr. Patel looked at the tooth, his recommendation was to have a crown done which was done at that same time! Needless to say, I have all my teeth still and I couldn’t be happier with the work Dr. Patel did which cost half of what the extraction would have. I’ll be transferring all my records to Lake Nona and seeing Dr. Patel from now on. I also would like to add that I’m not a fan of too many doctors out there because of my last primary care doctor who should not be practicing medicine for animals let alone people. For me to leave an outstanding review for a Dr like this is rare and it means not only do I trust this Dr, I have respect for him as a person. I believe he truly cares about his patients and I hope I can be lucky enough to have him be my dentist for the rest of my life. Dr. Patel is knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to talk to. Another thing I love about his office is the permanent crown was done that day! I’ve really been treated badly by some in the medical field and I would also like to add to everyone out there, trust your gut. If something is telling you that something may not be right, for me that feeling has always been 100% correct. The one time I didn’t listen to myself was with the primary care Dr that ended up being a complete psychopath so never will I again go to a Dr I have a bad feeling about. If I could give Dr. Patel 10 stars I would. I’m so thankful and appreciative that I have a good dentist and that’s why I’m writing this review to tell the public this dentist is an outstanding, very professional dentist. Thank you Dr. Patel and Lake Nona Dental Group for an amazing experience and for fixing my molar all the way in the back. Btw - I also have a condition where I have extra bone in my mouth on the bottom so this was probably not the easiest crown for him to do and he couldn’t have done a better job! Thanks again for a pain free dentist visit and for my new tooth!!!

Negative experience: It is with my deepest regret to inform St. Cloud of the lack of billing transparency I have experience at Lake Nona Dental Group. Everyone at the dental center is pleasant but for the past three appointments the quoted pricing was not honored and changed after receiving respective treatments. The quotes are only handwritten without authorization from the licensed Dental professional or customer. The business is poorly operated due to inefficient systems.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Patel and the staff at Lake Nona Dental Group on Jack Brack! I knew I needed a root canal but was really nervous about it. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel comfortable, and my experience here has been the best I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. Dr. Patel truly cares—he didn’t make me feel bad for not getting the work done sooner and took the time to ensure I was at ease throughout the process. This was actually my second visit within a few days because of the root canal (thank you to the cancellation waiting list!), and I’m so grateful they were able to get me in quickly. After a bad experience at another dental office in the area, where I left in pain and felt more like a dollar sign than a patient, I was hesitant to go anywhere else. But Lake Nona Dental Group completely changed that for me. The level of care, kindness, and professionalism here is unmatched. Although I still have more work to do, I’m glad I’ll be getting it done at Lake Nona Dental Group. Bonus points for being less than half a mile from my house!

Fantastic experience: So there are a million and one dentist on Narcoossee alone stretching from lee vista to 192 so it was hard to choose. Ultimately this place had some of the best reviews so i had to see it for myself. Right when i walked in i noticed the place was beautiful and clean. The girls at the front welcomed me and were super sweet. My dental hygienist Jaime was so nice and knowledgeable. Made my daunting dental experience into a really pleasant one. Dr. Patel was also really nice and informative. Even though my insurance will cover most of my expenses for the future the prices didn’t seem all that bad. I was expecting a lot more. Overall this was one of the best experiences I’ve had going to dentist.

Fantastic experience: The only reason a family wouldn't use this group is because they've never visited. Have just 1 appointment here and you will have found your favorite Dental group. My wife and daughters love them like they've never loved any medical practice. And, it's not a one shot fluke thing. They've been going here for years and every staff member is friendly. I've been derelict in taking care of my teeth and when I had to go somewhere, finally, I was extremely apprehensive because I knew it would be a monumental task to take me on. From Annette to Jennifer to Dr Van de Water, I was treated wonderfully, with dignity. I'm guessing my cleaning was one of the most difficult tasks they've faced in quite some time and I was anxious/ashamed as a result. They could not have treated me better, nor been kinder. Jennifer is highly skilled, an artist of a hygienist. Given the work I needed, I expected a lot of pain. There was NONE, just a little discomfort. Today I had my 2nd appointment, this time a deep clean at the Jack Brack office (my 1st visit was Nona). That's the one that can really hurt because the gums are involved. Well, Jennifer "the artist" did it again. She got me through it with little discomfort. As I was checking out and smiling while paying my bill another man and his wife came behind me and he said to his wife "I think that's the 1st time I've left a dentist office smiling". He's much older and possibly won't write a review so please believe me when I say he was also "5 star happy" My family tells me that all the Hygienists are wonderful. That doesn't surprise me when you read the flood of great reviews. We're happy to support a practice that cares about excellence, that cares how they treat patients.

Fantastic experience: Nice facility, state of the art equipment. However what makes it a 5 star rating is the people, they're always professional, polite and pleasant to deal with. I like the fact that they don't try to oversell me on services. I've never felt pressured to have work accomplished, unlike some other places I've been to.

Fantastic experience: Here in town from out of state with dental pain. The office staff got me in that morning to their gorgeous office and I was seen right away. I needed antibiotics and pain meds and was soon on my way. Everyone was super nice, friendly and very professional. My experience was just the best.

Positive experience: Great dental staff however very questionable billing practices. They will mark up the patient’s portion due not covered by insurance and also not advise if you are out of network for a certain location until after a claim is filed. Cigna Dental is out of network for the Dowden location because they won’t simply update the correct paperwork. So I’m forced to drive to the Saint Cloud location which marked up my uncovered portion almost 30%. Had I not checked my claim this margin would have been collected unethically.

Negative experience: Took my mother to get her molar tooth removed and dr. Coughlin recommended to add some extra services like bone graft for my mother and we did. My mother has dental insurance and we still end up paying $1000+ as out of pockets. Then 4 weeks later we return to office for stitches remove. Doctor didn’t even have time to remove the stitches so she had one of her assistants to do it. And just stop by briefly to take a look at my mom and said everything looks good. We went home, 2 weeks later after stitches had been removed the wound is still not healing and my mother is still complaining about pain/discomfort where she can’t even touch area. I called the office again today and was told Dr. Coughlin went on maternal leave and if we want to be seen by another dentist for follow up we have to pay $47 again. I feel like this office ripping us off and trying to bill the pts for every little thing. Never ever going back there.
