Dr. Haley was also exceptional. She took the time to explain everything clearly, recommended only what was truly necessary, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the visit. Her calm, professional approach and high standard of care were very reassuring. Overall, the entire staff was warm, professional, and clearly committed to providing top quality care. The office was spotless and equipped with state of the art technology which further reinforced my confidence in their practice. I cannot recommend Media Hometown Dental highly enough and am extremely glad I found them!

The assistant Mary was very helpful from the minute I walked in the door to help me on the elevator, take x-rays, and all the way through to meeting with the doctor. Dr. Haley was very thorough and answered questions and understood my concerns. All of the staff are friendly and genuinely interested in their patients. This is a dentist you would love to visit over and over!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic service. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I brought our 4 year old daughter in for a checkup, and at first she was afraid and was hiding in a corner. The two women at the front desk were extremely nice and got some sticker books for her to play with, which got her to come out from hiding. Once we were brought back, they had a welcome sign for my daughter, a stuffed animal for her, and Bluey on the TV. They did everything possible to make her comfortable, but my daughter was not in a good mood, and frankly was being a bit of a brat. The dentist, and a fellow dentist from across the hall did everything they could to get her to cooperate, but she wouldn't, so we had to reschedule. I'm very disappointed with my daughter, but the staff here was phenomenal, and I feel bad for complicating their day.

Negative experience: Do not use their website. It has you downloading a script to install malware onto your PC. Not sure if this is intentional or if they just have poor IT, but if you want viruses follow the cloudfare recommendation to install the malicious script onto your computer.

Fantastic experience: Signed up to become a first time patient online. Gave them a call due to discomfort and to see if they could fit me in sooner, they had me out the next day with more appointments lined up.

They focus on making your experience as relaxing and stress-free as possible. They explain everything step by step, so you always know what's happening. I was really impressed with how advanced their technology is—they take detailed dental images and clearly show you what they're seeing. They also go over what treatment you need and help you understand which things are the highest priority for your dental health. They even have TVs you can watch during your appointment to help calm your nerves, along with refreshments before and after your visit. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and professional. They truly make you feel like family. If you've been putting off going to the dentist like I did, I highly recommend Media Hometown Dental. They made what I thought would be a stressful experience feel easy and reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Absolute BEST dental office I’ve ever been to. I am your typical 230lb guy with a beard who is seriously afraid of the dentist. I went in for an extraction and almost immediately my fears were put to the wayside. Painless, and actually a great time! Laughs were had, nitrous was flowing, all in all great experience!

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient. My experience was wonderful! The office setting is beautiful and clean. The staff member, who checked me in, greeted me with a warm smile. I arrived very early, yet was taken into the x-ray room in no time, with the dental hygienist, Hallie. Hallie was very friendly and professional. She clearly explained every step as we went along, followed by additional x-rays and some measurements in another room, as I was in the dental chair. She really made me feel relaxed. She then said Dr. Haley was with a patient but would review my x-rays and be in shortly, which she was. Dr. Haley was a delight! She is very pleasant and extremely professional. She carefully examined my teeth and gums and further explained my results, as she showed me the x-rays on a large screen, in the examining room. She recommended a game plan to get my teeth and gums back to health. After very patiently answering all of my questions, she really put my mind at ease. She is very compassionate and caring. Dr. Haley and the nice scheduler booked the follow up appointments for the near future and accommodated my schedule. I have to say I feel confident my dental care is in the best hands with Dr. Haley and her staff. I highly recommend Media Hometown Dental!

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. Today most people do not know whether a review is genuine or Ai, but I am pretty sure whoever reads this will know it’s from a true-blue patient. I started with Dr. Sha when he was in the Havertown office and after my initial visit I said to him, you better not ever leave! Once you find a dentist that is caring, patient, skilled beyond measure and makes you feel so comfortable, of course you don’t want to go anywhere else. Hence my dilemma when he moved his practice to Media because we were already traveling a bit of a distance to see him. My husband and son continued with Dr. Sha in his new location, I was hesitant but finally relented because I was way overdue. All the way to the office I complained about the distance, couldn’t believe we were traveling almost an hour away while passing at least 20+ dental offices along the way but on we went. The office is absolutely beautiful with state of the art equipment with an amazing and personable staff. Even with all my fussing and complaining, completed dental work, guess what……the appointment for my next cleaning has already been made and yes at MHD! I figured I can travel a little distance twice a year for such exceptional service that I had yet to find elsewhere!!! Thank you for making all of my previous horrendous dental experiences a thing of the past!!

First from Cynthia who got me in to see Dr Sha the very next day as a new patient in terrible pain , to the kindest , most gentlest Dr Sha. Fantastic experience: Can I just say WOW! The best dentist appointment I’ve ever had! Super professional and VERY caring. I absolutely have dentist fear and trauma and the fact that they actually cared was big for me. First of all the waiting room is beautiful, but most importantly calming. The lady at the front desk offered me water; like what dentist office offers you water?! It was great, they were super awesome with taking my X-rays and they took them gently unlike other offices where they literally shove the tooth plate into your mouth. When I entered the dental room, they had my name of a big screen; that made me feel super special! At the end of my appt they gave me a WARM TOWEL! It smelled of some essential oil which was really amazing! They really care about you here and they didn’t force any type of treatment I didn’t want to do like MANY other offices do! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Fantastic experience: The whole entire staff was wonderful the front desk, exam, tech, x-ray, tech, dental hygienist, and doctors were all excellent. I felt no pain when I had my teeth cleaned. The hygienist was very gentle and professional. Everyone was great.

As someone who really does not like going to the dentist, they’ve made it an easy process, with a beautiful new facility and a knowledgeable team. The doctors have also worked to thoroughly explain what’s happening with my teeth and helped me navigate and understand the complicated dental insurance process in a way that is most cost-effective and beneficial for me. Would recommend Media Hometown Dental to anyone, especially those who have had trouble going to the dentist in the past.

Negative experience: I went for a tooth extraction and they chraged me for an exam and X-ray they NEVER performed. I was there recently and already had my X-ray on file. Beware of this dentist. They will charge you for things they never did.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was last week and I can’t recommend Media Hometown Dental enough!! Beautiful and clean space and everyone is very friendly. Leticia was my hygienist and she was extremely thorough. She took the time to explain every step and her findings to me, constantly checking to see if I was comfortable. Dr. Sha is very personable and continued to make the entire experience comfortable, explaining in detail what he saw and his recommendations. If you’re looking for a dentist in Media, give this team a shot!
