Fantastic experience: We love Smile Academy! They have been our pediatric dental clinic for almost 9 years. From the front desk to the hygienists and the dentist everyone is amazing.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wold always makes my daughter feel comfortable. She is a teen and he always makes her laugh and want to take care of her teeth! Love him and his team!!!

The open floor plan so you can see what it going on , the comfy benches to sit on in between chairs which makes it SO easy to watch my older two at the same time and be there for both of them ! 10/10 DO recommend

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always amazing! From the moment you walk in the door till you leave! Dr Wold is phenomenal with the kiddos, and makes them all feel comfortable. There is a fairly “New” assistant there and her name is Amber, she is absolutely amazing and was so patient with my kiddo. He has texture and sensory issues and they needed to get some impressions of his teeth and the first time we tried he did all the normal, gagging, refusing, etc. We went back and tried once more, she very gently, calmly and patiently talked him through the process and she was successful in getting it done!!! Amber, you are a saint and soooooo amazing!!!! Hope you’re there to stay!! Amber and Dr Wold, are both saints!!!

When another dentist said that they would need to pull multiple of my son’s teeth. Dr. Wold saved them all! We are so thankful for him and all his team.

Fantastic experience: We love Smile Academy. The staff is so kind and patient . They always set it up to get my 5 kids in and out in less then an hour. Dr Wold is amazing. I’ve never seen a person so perfectly suit for his profession. He always puts my kids at ease and talks to them at their level.

Fantastic experience: Third time going with my toddler; all three times they are fast and get us in and out within 30-45 minutes. Even when one of those times was an emergency visit after a harsh fall that left him bleeding. They’re very friendly with my kiddo and I even get a good job when there’s no cavities! I’m very impressed with the care and effort they put into checking his teeth even when he was screaming his head off because he was scared. I didn’t have to ask about scheduling little sister as her and dad sat in the waiting room and they offered to schedule her in at the next appointment for my toddler. Highly recommend taking in your babies!

Fantastic experience: My kids have been going here after a terrible experience with another office in town. Dr Wold is incredibly kind, personable, and my kids are always happy to return. The front desk gal is SO sweet and patient. The other staff is always on it, looks like they have a great routine & it’s cool to watch them always ready for their next step. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Moving to a new area is stressful enough, but when I had to make the decision to A. Drive 2 hours 1 way to continue taking my (now) 4 year old to a dentist really liked or B. Finding a new dentist in our area, was HARD. I enjoyed the dentist we were at, and finding new pediatric drs can be scary. Smile academy was definitely a great decision. They were so kind and very helpful keeping my 4 year old son comfortable and happy during his visit. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: At first, I had no complaints. However when it came to a dental emergency, 3 rounds of antibiotics, a whole tooth root being left after an extraction, and not a word said about it, it makes me question the reality. Then to be told after calling and confronting that its my child's fault for being unmanageable?! She was on day 2 of antibiotics, still full of infection, which will NOT numb, of course she is going to scream. She felt every bit of that! I would scream too! To be told to be quite, while feeling a whole tooth being pulled at a young age just is unexceptable. To say I am livid would be an understatement of the whole past 4-5months.

Positive experience: The ladies at the front are friendly and welcoming. All of the dental assistants and hygienists were great with my kids. The doctor himself seems like a great guy, was very friendly, great with the kids, and very informative about the condition of their teeth. The kids loved their prizes and can't wait to go back! We definitely recommend! Update: my oldest son also had a great experience here. They didn't baulk at my request for a thyroid guard for my teenagers and had no problem with me not wanting to use a flouride treatment. We will definitely keep coming! 1/22/26 update My daughter came in for a small filling and they sealed her molars in the same appt. The problem is, no one communicated that to me or gave me a printed treatment plan. We thought they ended up doing extra fillings because her retainer no longer fit her teeth. I was pretty upset, but the doctor explained what happened when we went in and they filed her filling down and some of the sealant so that her aligners would actually fit right. I went down to four stars because of the lack of communication, but I'd probably put it at 4.5 if that were an option. Overall, still a great place and we still recommend it!

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best pediatric dentist in casper wyoming he might just be one of the best pediatric dentists ever my kids and i have been to all the pediatric dentists in town and he is by far the most caring and patient dentist there is and he know what hes doing he is fast and very very good at what he does my son is a very difficult patient and he does so well with him my son actually likes him and my son hasnt liked dentist since we went to the dentist at casper childrens dentist that denstist did not like my 3 year old son and was very mean made me and my 6 year old daughter cry then later on ended up ripping almost all my sons teeth out and tried blaming me saying it was my fault cause i didnt schedule him right away i did schedule him right away same day in office and they called me and pushed my sons dental surgery off another 3 month cause he was going on vacation which resulted in my son losing most his teeth instead of getting them fixed

Fantastic experience: Absolute rave to smile academy!!! Our 2 year old decided she was gonna eat the counter at work today. They got us in in just a couple hours. When we were there they made a scary situation so much easier to handle. They gave her a little bunnie stuffy, sunglasses, a plastic dentist tool and let her pick a big prize for being so brave. I seriously cant get over how amazing they all are. Now if they could accept an adult child as a patient (myself) that would amazing! Again absolute rave!!!! Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: My youngest has dental anxiety and struggles with brushing his teeth. Smile Academy has been with us every step of the way. They make him feel comfortable and walk him through every step. Not only that, but they make him feel brave about it all and praise him throughout it all. I couldn’t have picked a better place to take my son to. They have never made me feel guilty or ashamed of how my son may act. They have only said great things and made me feel better about the situation. I'm always told “good job mom!” or “you are doing great!” We drive in total round trip four hours to be seen because of how caring and great they are.

Negative experience: Took my kids in for a routine check up. Was extremely disappointed with how one of my kids was treated. He is 4 years old and on the spectrum. The dentist continued to rip my sons prize out of his hand he got for not having cavities while he was looking at my other child’s teeth just for being “too loud” and obviously upset him even more and made him louder. He only targeted my autistic child and never said a word to my other child who was being louder. I got a text directly after leaving from the dentist to “apologize” for his behavior and it was just excuses and not a real apology. Steer clear of this place if you have a special needs kid because the dentist clearly doesn’t know how to properly handle them. All around the standard for patient care was not met. We will never be returning. If I could give zero stars I would.

His gentle approach helps kids feel safe and comfortable, and he always takes the time to explain things and make sure everyone feels at ease. Dr. Wold truly has a heart for what he does. You can see his passion in every interaction, and it makes all the difference. It’s rare to find someone so skilled and so compassionate at the same time. Fantastic experience: I wouldn't take my kiddos anywhere else for dentistry in Casper. This place is gold! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. We've been customers for many years and run the gambit on care received from dental cleanings to needing help after-hours due to trauma. Dr. Wold is incredible with the kids and professional at explaining what's going on to the parents while putting their minds at ease. He also makes himself available should you have needs outside of business hours, which has been a literal tooth-saver for us. The staff always remembers us and makes us feel special and they really take time to listen to concerns and suggestions from parents on how kiddos will handle care/any special considerations needed. My children LOVE going to the dentist.
