Negative experience: My friend had a crown with overhang put on her by another dentist. They knew he did her wrong. Why didn't they fix it. A undererupted tooth put out of position with force and crowned. Her jaw was inflamed, several of us saw it. You should have been a real man and stood up for her. Shame on you.

Negative experience: Hygienist was great easy to talk to did a great job Front desk gal, not up front on who they are in network with. They will just take your info, send you back, and leave you the bill of remaining balance. Anything for a buck!!

Fantastic experience: This practice is amazing! My former dentist tried to upsell me on so many unnecessary procedures. Working on perfectly healthy teeth. This practice is taking care of all my needs and is professional. Not to mention at my former dentist we would pay in full when we would check iut only to recieve a bill the following month. Complete night and day between the two offices. I highly recommend oil city dental!

Negative experience: I went first time great experience used my insurance that the billing lady in the glass cube in The front office . She got the approval, I went back a month later and same issue different place, I go in talk to her ,she was already real crabby ,she went in back to talk to Dr.Baur and I was talking about the candle actually probably annoying them . And thie lady came back said dentist said cant fix have to replace with new I asked how much she said $400 she was not happy with me as she stated your insurance still has not paid since last visit, she was not happy bout this , when I asked to use my insurance, I said I cant come with that right now. She said we'll if you didn't use glue. So I left a week later I believe my church was loaning me money, they even called to verify work and how much ,gave them a check number mind you I called two days in arrow .Tuesday and Wednesday, they said they never called yet, when I arrived on Thursday to give them the check they took it looked me up made an appointment, and I left they called and said wrong amount they couldn't do work, I adked for Dr.Baur to call me they should honor there quote. So all of a sudden I the co fused obe,but I guess your calling my church a liar to.. God will pass judgement... Be warned!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I didn’t have to wait for my name to be called, Dr. Bauer gives a good a shot to numb my mouth. I had an implant installed with no pain and was on my way it seemed within minutes. Maybe because I slept through it.

Negative experience: They do good work but the price has gotta be the highest in Casper. Never had a dentist charge for the numbing gel before the novacaine, never had a dentist charge $880 for a ten minute extraction on a tooth that practically fell out my head. They quoted me $24,000 for a set of dentures and no thats not even for implants. I found an affordable dentist who charges half the amount for more work and free numbing gel. I felt like I was taken advantage of because I was in pain and needed help. I will never go back and they have been my dentist for about 4 years. Not anymore. Seems like they want to cater to the rich only. Go right ahead then. I'm done with them.

Fantastic experience: My interations with dentists can be hurtful (ie alot of pain for me), but the team at Oil City was so accomodating. They were able to provide the care that my teeth needed, dispite my teeth's uber sensativity. Their diligence, compassion, and skills made the entire process manageable.

Negative experience: I am super disappointed in my level of service this past year after believing I found the "right dentist" for myself and my husband's needs. Our first 1-3 visits things went smooth and seemed fine, no over the top care to rave about just yet. BUT, that is no longer the case. It speaks volumes when a medical facility in any form can immediately get you onto the schedule no matter what your service may be as it shows they do not have the business that requires further scheduling out to begin with. I have TWO huge factors to address in my choice to now be in search of new dental care. My first concern being the unprofessionalism, and lack of communication, and scheduling issues after I went in for a scheduled appt to be left to wait for over an HOUR being the only one in the waiting room after only two clients had already left right as I arrived. The office gals sit there and take their time to tend to you as is with no greeting, or care as to why you are there. After over an hour wait and me being on the verge of losing my wits (due to needing to be with my grandma whom was just admitted into hospice and I was wasting precious time to not be seen for a scheduled appt), my husband asked what's going on as we have other emergent issues to tend to, and this is not ok to be kept waiting for so long being THE ONLY patients in the facility. After 5 mins of going back to "check" on what's taking so long, we were told it would be ANOTHER 30-45 mins wait as they're just now prepping for me. WHAT!? If I was truly scheduled and expected to be seen at said time, why wasn't I already being prepared to be seen for my time of appt?? Mind you, 30 mins into waiting, we heard a dentist mention he's going to run some errands and he'd be back. Cool, probably not the dentist I needed to see right? Due to the additional time stated it would take before being seen, we said absolutely not and we'd reschedule later. They acted like it was no big deal that we were just dismissed and kept waiting for so long!! So, nope, I didn't even reschedule. We assume I was completely forgotten about and they had NOBODY there to assist me for my appt, so of course that explains the additional ridiculous amount of time added to WAIT for them to "prep for my appt." Now RANT number two, due to already deciding we'd be looking for a new dentist due to this experience, fast forward to a month or two later where I send in BOTH my husband and I's final payments to pay off our accounts. The checks had not been cashed for OVER A MONTH AND A HALF since they'd been sent... FINALLY on the day they were we FINALLY CASHED, the SAME DAY a new statement for myself had been printed and mailed to my surprise with NO PAYMENT reflecting on my account. In my check payments, they were made out in two SEPERATE checks with DIFFERENT descriptions on EACH explaining which account each payment went towards. When I call to address this, they decided to add BOTH to my husband's claiming he "actually" owed the EXACT amount the two of ours combined added up to (WEIRD RIGHT) so they were both added to his, and the way their "billing statements print out messes their entire system up, not reflecting the actual amount due." MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE!? I said absolutely not because how would his billing statement now supposedly show the exact amount matching the two of ours combined, be written in two separate checks with two completely different accounts addressed on them??? I was told I would be called right back after they looked into it. It has now been TWO DAYS, with me calling daily and refusal to return my call. So next step will be having to take time out of MY PERSONAL schedule to go address this in person and demand THEY fix their mess up, even though I was not the one who created this mess in the first place. As I have years of experience in a medical office setting, everything about either of these instances is NOT OK nor excusable. And I would HIGHLY suggest looking into elsewhere for honest, trustworthy, and professional dental care needs!

Negative experience: Had my appointment scheduled a week prior and I got there today at the time I was supposed to and ended up waiting there for nearly an hour and a half while they only had 3 patients and told me I had to reschedule because they were closing. No communication whatsoever and terrible customer service. Would NOT recommend.

Negative experience: Very disappointed, made an appointment to have a tooth looked at that was giving me pain. They suggested I have a full inspection done, I asked if this was covered by my insurance and was told yes so I scheduled it, when they did the inspection they suggested I get a saliva test done and again I asked if insurance would cover it and again was told yes. While I waited for the results I never heard back from them until I received a bill for $600 for the one visit that no work has been done, and of course insurance did not cover it all, had a balance just over $200 and still no call from there office. In fact I purposely waited to pay the bill and no call for months later. And the call I got wasn't about getting the work I needed done just hey you owe us money. I got the work done at a different dentist office that was up front about what insurance covered and didn't. I have done business with this company for years for me and my family, never had issues like this. Sorry to have to write a bad review but now I know what they care about, it's not the patient. Fantastic experience: This is the BEST dentist I have been to with my child! They are kind, they are caring. Hygentist Niki is the best explaining everything thoroughly and having realistic expectations! Dr. Gallup Is the BEST dentist I have had the pleasure of working with!!

Negative experience: The dental hygienists are great and very friendly. The office staff and practice administration are unethical and challenging to work with. Every time we go, we are billed an incorrect amount, and insurance is not appropriately billed. We were told to bring our toddler in for practice so she could get used to the dentist's office, and we were told this would be free as it is covered by insurance. We were then charged for items that weren't even provided, and when we called the admin was not friendly or helpful. It felt like items were added in hopes they could slip this by insurance or trick people into paying. This has happened several times and then we are threatened with collection! Due to the headaches and terrible customer service we will be looking for other options in Casper. If you continue to use this practice, check your bill!

Negative experience: While the dentist is excellent, the billing staff continue to engage in illegal billing practices despite repeatedly being advised that they can NOT charge more than what their contract with dental insurance stipulates.

Fantastic experience: Feeling fell out before Christmas. All the dental clinics were closed was able to get in to Oil City Dental on January 4. Staff was very courteous and professional. Dr. Trent was awesome. Remove the old leftover filling and replaced all with new. No insurance no problem was able to pay cash and they gave me a discount with cash payment. I was pleased to get the tooth fixed in such an expedient manner. Awesome job all around would recommend in a heartbeat Thank you all at Oil City Dental.

Negative experience: I’ve never actually made it here to an appointment because they give you no way to know when the appointment is no reminders no text no email Nada. You have to schedule out a month plus to get in then it’s complete Silence they dont even call and tell you that you missed the appointment.

The staff, and Dr went out of their way to make sure I didn't experience any discomfort. I am originally from California, the dentist's there are very different then here in Casper Wyoming. I am truly grateful to have found the best Dentist in Casper Wyoming. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: I've had dental issues all my life (major dental traumatic accident at 15yo) and been to multiple dentists all over the country and this is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. Everyone who works here is so down to earth and non judgemental. After 4 visits I can say this is my dentist for life! I especially love being well informed and I've learned so much about my mouth. Definitely recommend!

Positive experience: Dentist is GREAT. No complaints for the dentist or hygienist. They were great with me and my daughter. Front desk receptionist is awful. Good luck trying to ask account questions. She plays defense to the biller and has absolutely no idea what she is talking about. When presented with an EOB she gave WRONG information when it was right in front of her face. Her manner and facial expressions for customer service are severely lacking. I was "dismissed" as a patient because I was "rude." Sorry for wanting my over $100 contract adjustment. That's a lot of money for most people. Maybe next time this happens she can get you to the expert on billing. Especially since I had called ahead of time to speak with the biller and not the receptionist. Yes, people are human and make mistakes and miss things. But it's all about how it's handled. At least own up to your mistakes. And especially do not lie to my face.
