Fantastic experience: Was kind of nervous going to a new practice but Monica, the hygienist, was wonderful and the front desk and Dr. Anthony were kind. The only slight negative was that I was used to a totally modern, light and updated place and the waiting area sure was not. Beyond that - great practice.

Negative experience: I usually don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to for this- I switched dentists when I moved to Exton so I went here. Almost every time I went, they told me I had a cavity. I got one filled, but when I went back again they said I had another. Something in my gut told me this didn’t feel right so I went to another dentist that a family friend goes to. They confirmed that I in fact do NOT have a cavity. Be careful if you choose here. Update: They will claim you are at the 'wrong' office, however this is THE office.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy this family dentistry practice environment. The dental hygenists are always very nice, and so is Dr. Shayegan! I have zero complaints after being a patient for over 3 years.

Negative experience: I would give this place zero stars if I could. The medical care might be fine, but the front office staff—specifically the receptionist—is completely incompetent, dishonest, and explicitly discriminatory. Our experience was a disaster from start to finish due to a total lack of transparency and unprofessionalism regarding payments: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: We were explicitly told that the total would be $119 for both my wife and me. Instead, we were charged $119 each. When confronted, the receptionist casually dismissed it as a "mistake" on her part, offering no accountability for the misinformation. Terrible Record-Keeping: I paid the $119, yet they failed to update their system. Now, their records falsely show that I still owe them money. Hidden Insurance Fees: They completely failed to communicate that our insurance limits were exceeded, resulting in an unexpected $240 out-of-pocket charge. When asked for clarity, the receptionist told me I had to contact my insurance myself, without even being able to explain the exact breakdown of the charges they were hitting me with. Harassment and Xenophobia: To make matters worse, when I tried to get clarification on these billing discrepancies, the receptionist resorted to personal and cultural attacks. She harassed me about my background, making the xenophobic comment, "How do you people talk to women in your country?" Banned for Complaining: When we tried to resolve these issues, the management and doctors completely failed us. Instead of apologizing for the blatant discrimination and financial errors, the doctors told us we were no longer welcome to show up at the practice. They retaliated against us for standing up against their front desk's mistreatment. This is hands down the worst front office staff I have ever encountered. Being disorganized with billing is one thing, but weaponizing someone's nationality because you cannot handle a standard billing inquiry is completely unacceptable. Avoid Exton Family Dentistry if you expect honest pricing, proper accounting, and basic human respect.

Negative experience: I called to make appt. Young ladies not experienced working at desk. Wanted implants on bottom teeth. At my age was pushed around like these two inexperienced techs wanted and I told them get lost. Dr do yourself a favor and get talented skilled at your front desk . You deserve a better rep then this review . In addition after I gave this review the marketing manager Kayla called me only to be mad because I gave this review and she got angry cause I won’t delete the review so she had the local police do a wellness check on me, I am 81 years old and deserved respect from her not her disappointment that she did a poor job. .Please google don’t allow a senior citizen to be threatened.

Even though I was only there for a cleaning, they set the tone for the future and I will be going back! I finally found a great one!

Negative experience: Be careful- every time I went, they said I had a cavity. Went to a different dentist who was recommended by a family member and they confirmed I didn’t have cavities. My gut told me something was off and I’m glad I listened.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here a few years for cleanings, cavities, and a crown. They do good work. I used to go to a place in KOP, and their cleanings were not thorough. Much better here. One dentist here not several like the KOP place. I like that too. Dr. Anthony Is great. He does best to make sure you're comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Monica is an amazing thorough and gentle hygienist. She keeps a positive demeanor while giving education in a manner that applies to the everyday personal life. I would highly recommend going if anyone is afraid of the dentist or had a terrible experience in the past. I literally laughed so much at my appointment. The dentist is very caring and listened to my concerns and alleviated any anxiety I had about my concerns. The front desk lady is always optimistic and positive when I come in. Even when you visibly see that the office is very busy she stops and takes the time to answer all your questions and doesn't rush. This is hands down the best dental office I have been to.

Negative experience: Felt compelled to write this after reading other reviews. Every time I went to get my teeth cleaned, they found a cavity with minimal explanation or insights. Additionally, there was little to no effort by the doctor to establish patient care. I felt like a business transaction every time walking in there so I switched dentists. If you are looking for a personable dentist, this is not the place for you. Note for Exton Family Dentistry: Yes, this is the correct office & location for which I am leaving a google review.

Negative experience: I didn’t have a chance to fill out my intake forms prior to my appointment! I had been in a lot of pain physically and the day before my appointment I buried my uncle! As I’m checking in one lady with blonde hair is giving me my forms, the brunette woman from behind the desk states that she didn’t care how much pain I was in! That it should’ve been done & if I was in that much pain I would’ve had the paper work filled out prior! As if they don’t have paper copies to fill out in the building! I let her know that I heard her & how unprofessional it was because it’s posted no where that I have to complete the forms online only to be seen! They then turn around after she was extremely rude to me and let her take my x rays as tears roll down my eyes. I have a woman who stated she didn’t care how much pain I was in working in my mouth! I was extremely uncomfortable. The other lady at the desk with the blonde hair seen how rude she was being and said she understands some people prefer to fill it out when they get there! I was also there 15 mins early to my appointment to fill the paper work out. I’ve never heard of a dental tech or whatever getting as personal as to say she didn’t care about my pain level due to some intake forms. I also gave my insurance info over for the phone prior so I’m not sure why I was treated like that! I did like the Dentist he was patient and explained everything!

Fantastic experience: I will soon b 70, and I’ve been to more dental offices than I can count. For the last 10 years, I’ve been going 3x per year cause I seem to need cleaning more often. Dr Anthony is very professional and he runs a well-prganized office. They work with you and your insurance to make sure you understand what you need and avoid unexpected cost surprises. This was my 3rd cleaning appointment with Mikeala. Until I began seeing her for cleaning, I always hated getting that ultrasound spray to remove tartar. And I always experienced great discomfort, evern severe sharp pain 4-6 times with every cleaning. But I have to say, I have not experienced a single episode of this since I started going to Mikeala. Today, for my first time ever, I was actually so relaxed I almosr gell asleep.

Negative experience: I switched dentists because of my insurance and started going here. Immediately they said I have 5 cavities (I've only had 1 as a Kid) and all my family members needed work done too (cavities, root canals, etc.). When working on a "cavity" with a drill in my sister's mouth, he said "oops!" We didn't trust it so we went back to our old dentist and they said we were all fine.
