Negative experience: Been opened since 9 am it’s 9:40 am and no one will answer the damn phone
Negative experience: Under 'Value Dental' it specifies: "Perth Amboy. Dentures, Crowns, Root Canals, Fillings, Veneers, Extractions, Bridges & More" My friend Maria, needed a filling or root canal. I called for her, made the appointment (she speaks Spanish). Explained she is in alot of pain. Monday they said. I was polite and very thankful. Day of the appointment? They suddenly closed early, right before she arrived. As she was in the taxi. My friend went for nothing. I had left polite calls and email: "She is on her way. She will not be late. Thanks alot. Thanks so much" Quite strange. They did not bother to return an email or quick call, in order to reschedule. I thought they would call Tuesday. When contacting the Secretary on Wednesday? I was nice, as always. I thought she'd immediately offer to reschedule, on the next opening. Her tone went from polite to bizarre. Instead, she says "ahhh yesss, we closed early". (Very creepy vibe). Secretary closes with "Anythingggg... else?" I got such an odd feeling, I merely replied "Uh, we'll call back to reschedule. Thanks" (Never intending to go there). They could not be bothered to say "We have an opening on this day" THANKFULLY we listened to a friend, who said to schedule at a different Dentist, and not cancel it. He said "Value is a big 'No way' for him".

Fantastic experience: I came in office July 10th @ 3:40 pm and got seen very fast , most offices you wait for a long time.this was my first visit. they were very kind . It was a very comfortable environment , I’m not sure what her name is but the medical assistant who worked that day alongside of the doctor was very very kind . And made me super comfortable. The lady at the front desk was kind to me and explained things in the paperwork I did not understand and she did not seem annoyed with me at all. The doctor seems like a really nice guy and gave me a referral to see an oral surgeon. And also wrote me a script for Motrin and antibiotics. I’m terrified of the dentist but being there made me think why haven’t I done this sooner. I will be back for a cleaning every 6 month to maintain my oral health

Negative experience: Realmente fue una experiencia muy desagradable ya que cuando me puso la anestesia enseguida me hizo una pelota como de béisbol en mi cachete esta foto que estoy poniendo es después de dos días todavía no se baja hay un poco de esa pelota que me hizo la anestesia nunca llegó al lugar correcto sentía tanto dolor cuando la estaba sacando le dije y no me hizo caso continuó sacándola como si yo fuera un animal no recomiendo este lugar a nadie es un salvaje el dentista

He does mostly everything himself, where others send you to a specialist, costing you an arm and a leg! Love him and his staff! Very helpful! So glad I found him! Negative experience: TERRIBLE DENIST!! His staff was very sweet and nice and seemed apologetic for his nasty attitude. He called my pharmacist a liar and me sensitive when I had to drive all the way back there to get info on my prescription. He argued with me when i mentioned the pharmacy calling 2 hours ago. No wonder the office was empty. He told me to leave him alone then said he never said that. DO NOT GO HERE. He rushes through visit & gives wrong info.

We brought you in and gave you same day service on a Saturday, a very busy day. You were not one of our patients and your own dentist would not see you. You were treated in a timely fashion and given the correct information about the large carious lesion in your wisdom tooth, that needed to be extracted by a specialist and given a referral and emailed a copy of your x ray. You gave me your pharmacy information and the problem with your pharmacy was it did not come up on the search engine to send your prescriptions electronically . So, prescriptions were phoned in to your pharmacy right away. You pharmacy did not have a prompt to speak to the pharmacist which providers like to give the prescriptions verbally to the pharmacist. I left a message for the prescriptions with the pharmacy. Your pharmacist had a question on the antibiotic NOT the pain medicine.
unfortunately the person who answers the phones had to leave due to a family emergency. Your pharmacist could have filled the one prescription for pain while he was waiting to hear back from me. I was busy with patients and you came back to the office unnecessarily extremely agitated and disruptive demanding attention while I was in the middle of a procedure with a patient. I did not have time to listen to my messages while I was working on a patient, but I would have listened to the messages once I was done with my patients. You also stated you have spaces between your front teeth due to the removal of your upper right wisdom tooth. Which i then informed you about that not being accurate, a wisdom tooth will not cause front teeth to shift, you were not satisfied with my answer which is based on years of study and years of experience. I hope you find what you are looking for in another provider and wish you well.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Likakis is an amazing attentive Dentist. Extremely skilled. Even when you haven't been to the dentist in some time, you are never judged. He makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Look we all get anxious going right? He cares, and you can feel it. He never rushes through until you are numb enough and ready. He's got a great down to earth personality. The staff is professional and so kind. Best dentist in the area! Update: I have continued to be a patient at Value Dental. I recently have had extensive dental work which I needed. I can say that it has been completely pain free. The office called that evening to assure I was doing well. Trust me, the value Dental team is Top Notch!

Fantastic experience: Omg Value Dental in Perth Amboy! Guys, Dr. Likakis got me in right away and so empathetic, kind, and, accommodating. He prioritized my comfort over time or convenience. He would stop any time I winced or furrowed my brow. He (or his assistant!) rubbed my forehead to soothe me when I was in pain. It was so sweet! The entire staff was so amazing. The receptionist was very compassionate and helped me figure out how I could handle this, both emotionally, physically, and financially. The assistant was very kind and soothing. I have medical anxiety, especially with dental procedures and this was the best dental experience I ever had. Oh, and I must tell you that he plays funny animal videos as you wait in the room. 10/10 for me. This seems like a paid review or that I know the guy, but honestly, I've been in intense dental pain for 6 days and he was the only one to listen to me and recognize the urgency of my situation. Thank you all! I added photos to show that how I went from in total pain with no one helping me, to me being masked before the exam, to me being scared about the procedure, to me watching the funny dog videos, to me with the numbing shots working, to me tonight! I can't wait to sleep soundly tonight.

Fantastic experience: This place is Great Doctor George and the people that work here is Amazing . The young lady that picked up the phone was so nice. She put me in right away. Literally, I was driving in my car as she tells me to come in I was in So much pain. They took me in quick and fast and took care of me I feel great. Everybody there was so nice and I am very picky. To me, he is the top dentist in New Jersey. I am so happy that I came here and I will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr.Likakis for years. He is very professional and friendly. He puts you at ease immediately. He always works with your dental insurance and gives you top notch care. I am a nurse and make my appointments before work or after my shift. His staff always accommodates my schedule and best of all you never have a long wait. His hygienist is wonderful as well as all of his staff. If you want a great dentist go to Dr. Likakis. He does great work and makes sure you have little or no discomfort during your procedure.

Fantastic experience: I love coming here because they are so quick and efficient with the cleanings. When it came to cavity fillings, the doctor never made me feel self-conscious about my teeth and was also very fast. He’s very aware of any pain and likes to engage in great conversation here and there. If you want people who are all about getting the work done and won’t judge, this is the place.

Negative experience: I only put one star because I couldn't put it any lower. I arrive today at the dentist 42 that was in pain. I explained to the doctor that there was a bonding around my tooth that protected from any type of sensitivity. I recently went to another doctor and had my teeth cleaned. Where's he pulled all the bonding off? So I went to him looking for help. Because I couldn't stand the pain anymore. As soon as he walked in, he just made comments about me smoking. He looked at me tooth for 2 point seconds through his hands up in the air and said. I cannot help you go somewhere else. And cut me off and walled out of the room. I started bursting in tears because he was so rude that the 2 nurses and to come in and apologized for him I've never in my 36 years of livng been treated so wrong and been made so uncomfortable. Please do not come here if you care about your teeth and feeling comfortable. Do not come here, he should definitely not even have a license to be a dentist. His bedside manner is completely terrible.

Negative experience: Dentist was super rude and mean! Spent less than 10 minutes in the room. Told me he couldn’t help me and gave me a referral to go somewhere else. He also told me my tooth couldn’t be saved and referred me to his friend for his friend to pull it out. Thank God I got a second opinion!!!

Fantastic experience: The people there are so professional and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this dental facility . They kept me well informed, asked if I was comfortable throughout my teeth getting filled, etc. Edit: Hi, I just went there again for my second filling and I just have to say this, they are amazing. Especially the dentist there. He is a cool guy, amazing to talk to but most importantly, he did an amazing job with my teeth! Again, highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Sent me to a specialist to remove to teeth. Refered me to this doctor. It was the most worse experience. They left pieces. When returned to value. Dentist. After. Schilling me. I was his client. He refused to see me. When one of his assistant. Repeated to him. What had happened. They took me out of room. At front desk I was told. That to. Go back to that butcher. He sent me. And he refused to see me. And. That. To go to another. Dentist. But my problem. Was not. We're. Extracted. It was bottom. And ended up getting a route canal. Couldn't take pain.
