Fantastic experience: "My experience getting dental work done with Dr. Schof has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the incredibly talented and welcoming staff to the highest quality dental work I have ever received, the entire process was seamless. I highly recommend Dr. Schof—he is easily the best dentist I have ever worked with."

Fantastic experience: ALWAYS on time for scheduled appointments, cleanings are thorough, employees help put the ‘gentle in dental’ for those of us who may feel anxious!

Negative experience: The staff and Dr. Schof are very friendly and personable, but I had a really disappointing experience. I was told I went from 0 to 8 cavities in 6 months and was pressured to spend about $3,000 on treatment, with worst-case scenarios presented to me. I got a second opinion and found out I only had one cavity. Maybe it was a mistake but I’m glad I trusted my gut and got that second opinion

Fantastic experience: It was with some trepidation that I arrived at Dr. Schof's office this morning. When I entered the two young ladies at the desk immediately made me feel welcome. They were very friendly and professional. After being shown to a room I met Dr. Schof. He quickly put me at ease with his caring, confident manner. After a thorough exam he explained all of my options in detail so we could together devise a plan of action. The entire staff were really proficient and seemed happy to be helping me. This was a great experience which allayed my longtime dental phobia. I am now looking forward to completing this journey with Dr. Scof and staff. 09/19/23 Finished product today! Dr. Schof delivered as promised! I can't say enough about my experience from start to finish. The entire process was painless as he had assured me at the beginning. His expertise and attention to detail showed in the end. He and his staff made me feel like family and shared my happiness with the final result. From the business side (Sadie, Marti) to his staff, especially Courtney, Madison and Becca as well as the entire staff, who welcomed and took care of me, I can only say thank you!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr. Schof and his staff. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dental care.

Fantastic experience: Saw me promptly for a problem! Excellent, professional, congenial staff from the front door to check out! Love my dentist family!

Fantastic experience: I saw this dentist for the first time today and was incredibly impressed by both the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff. All my questions were answered and my dental situation was not downplayed with vague assurances. I was given a clear understanding of what my potential outcomes are and I very much appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: I recently became a new patient at Mandeville Center for Dental Excellence. The whole staff was very pleasant and welcoming. They are high-tech! They used 3D technology and displayed an image of my teeth right in front of me on the monitor. The staff also wear headphone/mic headsets so they can direct other staff to help with such things like getting your insurance information, request any equipment needed, etc. I also filled out the pre-paperwork online before my visit, and I did not have to do any paperwork when I arrived or give them copies of my driver's license or insurance cards. It was very organized; their check-in process had a good flow, and I did not wait long at any one point throughout my visit. I was in an out in my lunch hour. The dentist, Dr. Schof, was nice, full of smiles, thorough, informative, and also very welcoming. I did not feel embarrassed or pressured. I have made my follow-up appointment to return. Although less important, I thought the office decor was very tastefully done and inviting. Each patient chair has a big window to look out of. You can see the walking path with frequent foot traffic, and woods with birds and butterflies about. Parking was not an issue, and their office was easy to get to. They are off of Hwy 22 on the same street that the Rouses, Walgreens, and Ponchartrain Poboys are located.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice here they were constantly asking me if I was OK or doing OK. If you have issues with going to a dentist, I strongly recommend going to this place.. The faces are friendly. The voices are soft and comforting in the office. What a view.!!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency situation and needed a wisdom tooth extracted the day before the office was set to close for the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff was very understanding and friendly. Everyone made the entire process as seamless as possible. I can't recommend this office enough.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful place that I have been coming to for many years. Everyone is always delightful and attentive. Dr. Schof is always professional and up to date with the best care. I know I am in the best hands.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist and staff. I have had extensive work with an extraction and no pain, just briefest twinges but nothing.. it is crazy the injections didn't hurt, a all.. Amazing, especially since dentists have usually hurt me,,a lot. Far above average, excellent work...heroic even. He saved me teeth when I was sure I'd need dentures. He has done this for decades yet keeps up with and uses advanced techniques and state-of-the-art materials. My teeth have never looked so good. I highly recommend Dr Schof

Fantastic experience: So very pleased to experience a pain free appointment today! Had a tooth extracted and implant placed in the same day instead of having to do multiple appointments. Dr. Schof explained everything well and made me feel at ease with the process! 2nd review: Thankful to have found Mandeville Center for Dental Excellence! Every appointment I have felt at ease and comfortable with everything explained well and even after hours check up phone calls! Dr. Schof and his staff have made dental experiences so much better for me!!

Fantastic experience: I have serious dental anxiety. Dr Schof and his staff are very caring and supportive. Sedation is available which I was very grateful for. I had an upper dental implant done in March and very pleased with how it turned out and I get many compliments. From general dentistry to various dental procedures, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and the staff was not only professional but also genuinely kind. The doctor made it a point to reassure me that I was in good hands. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a dentist's office.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday my boyfriend and I were at laser tag and ran into each other & his front tooth cracked and I called and we got it fixed in the same day

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Schof’s dental office! From the moment I approach the door, the staff’s warmth and attentiveness make every visit a pleasure. The entire team is consistently kind and genuinely cares about my comfort and well-being. They take the time to know me by name, which adds a personal touch that’s hard to find these days. Dr. Schof, in particular, stands out for his exceptional care. He’s an attentive listener, always addressing my dental concerns with patience and ensuring I feel heard. Whether I have questions or specific issues, he takes the time to explain things clearly and makes sure I’m comfortable with the plan moving forward. The level of care and professionalism here is top-notch, and I always leave feeling confident in my dental health. If you’re looking for a dentist who combines expertise with a caring, personalized approach, Dr. Schof’s office is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very thorough and professional. Nice window to watch hummingbirds in the exam room.

Fantastic experience: It was an emergency & Dr Schof’s office handled the situation very pleasantly and Professionally & quickly! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Great service, took me as soon as I arrived. Told me what was happening throughout process. An enjoyable experience!

Fantastic experience: Doc was fantastic. His whole team made me feel right at home. Could not have had better service anywhere. They took their time with my fear. Simply wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Dr. Schof and his staff today. I had a bit of a dental emergency and although my regular dentist was out of town, Dr. Schof was able to work me in and correct my issue. This included removing an old crown, getting a root canal, and then customizing a new crown for me, all in one visit. The staff was very friendly and professional, and Dr. Schof was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the options to me. I was very impressed and look forward to visiting them in the future. I sincerely thank you all and highly recommend their services. David Cutrer

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Chuck Schof's since he went into practice in 1995, and he is the best. I wouild not entrust my dentistry to anyone else!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot express how happy I am with my new smile! Dr. Schof takes quite a bit of pride in his work and it is obvious that he cares about his patients’ satisfaction. The office staff is extremely personable and professional. They are understanding of my very busy schedule. I was nervous about getting veneers because I wanted a natural look. I did not like the shape of my teeth and I wanted a more feminine smile. The reaction that I am receiving to the finished product is one where people know that something has changed but they can’t pinpoint what it is. Instead, they ask me if I changed my hair or skin care or makeup - or even comment that I look happy and well-rested.

Fantastic experience: My last visit was for a cleaning. Everything well well. The entire staff was wonderful, accommodating, and professional as usual.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schof and his team are very friendly and professional. I’m so glad I chose this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable and friendly, made you feel at ease. Well run office. Attentive to my concerns. Plan of care was done right away. Impressive.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schof and staff continuously deliver exceptional service in a caring patient-centered environment.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly and helpful, and Dr Schof is amazing!!!! He has been our family dentist for over 20 years!! Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Schof has been working with me for 15 years. His continuous excellence and growth with new technology has continually amazed me. I am a Karen and definitely pay very close attention to detail. Dr Schof delivers both excellent dentistry and a great experience in the dental office. His staff (like him) is constantly positive, kind and professional.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Schof and his staff are the best!

Fantastic experience: Always friendly staff and they really care that you are comfortable and happy with your exam.

Fantastic experience: First class practice. He caters to the Mandeville Carriage Trade…

Fantastic experience: Immediately the staff were very attentive then Dr Schof put me completely at ease. He was so Confident, Comforting and Knowledgeable. Grade A for me!

Fantastic experience: Dr Schof is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. Whether it’s just a cleaning, or a major dental procedure, Doctor Schof is absolutely painless. You don’t even feel the numbing injections! He has all of the latest dental equipment to ensure you are thrilled with your results. The quality of his work is unsurpassed. He is absolutely amazing and I would never consider going to any other Dentist, EVER!

Fantastic experience: The continued dental relationship with Dr. Schof and staff for well over a decade has proven to be one of true professionalism and care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schof and his team are incredible at what they do. Over the past 6 months, I have been in and out of that office getting major work done. I couldn't be happier with the results. He is the best at what he does. Thank you!

Negative experience: I had called before making an appointment and asked them about what my dental insurance would cover. The lady who answered took my plan and group info and told me my insurance would pay 90%. She did not say it was an estimate or give any indication that this was not 100% true. I went ahead with the appointment after being told that. Month or two my visit I get the bill for my visit with my insurance not covering anything. I spoke to the billing specialist and she said there was nothing they could do. They said everything is an estimate. I told her no one told me that and she said there is nothing they are willing to do to make this right. Do not trust the dental office with anything. The dentist had even told me I had a tooth infection when I was there so I went to get two other opinions and was told that I was lied to. There was no tooth infection present. This is a dishonest dental office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schof does quality dental work and his staff are all wonderful to work with. Yes, it is expensive but the work speaks for itself.

Fantastic experience: I got a beautiful SMILE!! Thank you Dr Schof, Courtney, Jenna, Nydia, Patrice, Jessica, Madison, Ericka, Christian, Rachelle, & You~Lovely new Staffers!! AND to YOU~ whom I mistakenly left out!!....YOU guys ROCK!! Call them~You will LOVE these folks!!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into Mandeville Center for Dental Excellence, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very efficient, and Dr. Schof was incredibly gentle and thorough during my checkup. I appreciate how Dr. Schof took the time to explain everything in a way that I understood, and I felt confident in his recommendations. The office itself is clean, modern, and well-organized with cutting edge dental technology, making the whole experience stress-free. I highly recommend MCD to anyone looking for a great dentist

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was so nice and informative. Dr. Schof is the best! I had an implant emergency and he addressed and fixed the issue in under an hour. TOP NOTCH DENTIST AND STAFF! I will be definitely be driving an hour to see them from now on!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone on staff is wonderful. From the moment they answered my phone call I felt welcomed. I need some extensive work done, and I’ve been putting it off due to fear and embarrassment. When I called to make my initial appointment I was a wreck but the person who answered assured me I was in good hands and eased my fear. When I arrived, everyone in the front office was friendly and welcoming. (I wish I remembered names, I’m so sorry that I don’t) The hygienist who prepped me for the doctor could sense my stress, and they made sure I was comfortable - super friendly and understanding. Dr Shoaf came in and assured me that there this was a “no-judgement” zone and that he, with the whole team would help me restore my smile. Victoria (I think, so sorry if I’m getting the name wrong) walked me through the finances. They were so kind and understanding of my needs, because this was going to be a huge purchase for me. They walked me through everything and explained all my options… they were SO nice and welcoming. Eased all my fears. On my second visit, I met a wonderful person who took my X-rays and scans - being sure to care for my sensitivities. I was very uncomfortable, but everyone involved eased my fears and did their best to make the process as comfortable as possible. They gave me a temporary fix for a broken tooth that honestly looked so great. I will have a bunch of procedures coming up to restore everything, but this team has made me feel so at-ease that I have no fear or apprehension. I’m actually very excited to start this process, and that’s coming from someone who’s avoided dental work for over 15 years because I’ve been so scared. Thanks to everyone involved!

Fantastic experience: The whole staff are always so welcoming. Always feel comfortable and at ease no matter what the visit was for, from a cleaning to root canal. My kids actually looked forward to going,

Fantastic experience: Dr Schof is a one of a kind. In my 68 years I have had multiple problems with my teeth. He and his staff are caring, friendly, supportive, and above all knowledgeable. He walked me through the needed procedures. He was able to fit all the procedures within my salary. If you have any dental needs you would be a fool not to contact him. The best dentist I’ve ever met. He and his staff, Top Shelf.

Fantastic experience: They were welcoming, straight to the point and didn’t waste time, and the Doc was EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE. I value experience over even the cost factor, so it was a great experience. This will be my dentistry office for the time to come.

Fantastic experience: This was by far the best experience I have had at the dentist. The staff made you feel as though you had been going there forever. From the time you checked in until the moment you left. A very relaxing atmosphere and pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: THE BEST EVER!! I am just starting out here to get my smile back, I’m so happy and excited to see the outcome. Front office, techs, the entire staff go over and beyond to make this experience pleasurable. Now Dr Schof is wonderful, he cares for his patients, takes his time with you and is all about your smile, can’t say enough about this practice. Stay tuned for final review 1 MONTH UPDATE I couldn’t be happier! I love my new teeth but when they are permanent and don’t come out I will be a new me! I have had no problems at all and when I had questions the staff was always available to answer without delay. Like I said in previous review that I can’t say enough about the entire staff here and the Dr himself is the BEST!

Fantastic experience: If you suffer from TMJ, PLEASE READ. I went to see Dr. Schof after a horrible 6 months of migraines, dizziness, occipital pain, jaw pain, and muscular issues. Months of PT and dry needling wasn’t working. I was on multiple medications for migraines and vestibular issues. Dr. Schof listened and explained how TMJ can contribute and cause all of the symptoms. He also had an understanding having dealt with TMJ issues himself. His knowledge of TMJ exceeded other dentists or specialists I had seen. He provided me with a temporary splint to wear (I went home with it that day) and fitted me for a permanent custom splint. The relief I got from the temporary splint was almost immediate. I was shocked! My jaw and shoulders relaxed and my whole body started to feel normal again. The permanent splint was more comfortable than any other prior one I had ever used. It is very low profile and he was very skilled at fitting it to my mouth. If you are suffering and have seen other providers, please take a chance and go see Dr. Schof. I had recently done Invisalign and didn’t want to spend more money, but I needed relief and his approach was different. It was really worth the money. I hope this helps someone out there who is suffering from this!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the most comfortable dental experience ever! The Staff are all very Attentive, Genuine & Proficient. I felt very safe and confident with Dr Schof's care, Professional Assessment, Demeanor & Resolution. He is very knowledgeable & Resourceful in his pain free Artistry. I Highly Recommend! Fantastic experience: There’s no room for improvement in your service when everything has been perfect! I have been treated with kindness care and professionalism from the moment I stepped in and sat in your chair. It’s been a pleasure to have you for my Dentist as well as working with your excellent team members..

Fantastic experience: I have been incredibly pleased with the services provided, the staff I interact with at each visit and the professional quality of services provided. Unfortunately I have had to undergo extensive dental work which has required multiple visits to Dr. Schoff and his staff. Each and every time I have been well received and treated with kindness and respect. We even have a few giggles as we have come to know each other better! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schof has been my dentist for many years. He is an excellent dentist . He and his staff are very professional and caring. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Dr Schoff is an excellent dentist very detail oriented!! I also can’t say enough enough the hygienist Tara she is vet personable and thorough!! The staff is also very friendly!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Schof and his team restored my smile and renewed my spirit in just 3 visits. If you’re reading this—STOP—and make an appointment. Tell Nadia and Courtney that Nikki sent you!

Fantastic experience: The staff is so nice, comforting and capable. I don’t see myself going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful renovation of office. Loved meeting Erica and Courtney. Miss my Marti, Donna and Cathy.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Fantastic! I feel like I have finally found a dentist that gets me! Dr. Schof is kind and doesn’t mind my dentist anxiety and Nadia was so nice and took great care to make me feel comfortable. A+++

Fantastic experience: By far Dr. Charles and his staff are the best and most professional dental office I've experienced in over 30 yrs. The receptionists are extremely helpful and friendly. I doubt that I would spend anytime or money with any other dental office on the Northshore. I had my veneers of 16 yrs replaced and the experience was beyond my expectations Sam

Fantastic experience: First visit to this office, and it was great. Dr. Schoff and his staff are top notch. Up to date technology, made things very simple. Everyone was very gentle, always asking if you were ok, very thorough, while explaining, each step of the way. The chair side manners were fantastic and everyone was so very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: It's difficult to describe a dental visit as a 'great experience', however, aside from sticker shock, the experience was very pleasant and pain-free. ( I have come to realize that dental insurance is a waste of money as not much is covered.) Dr. Schoff has established a professional and caring staff to compliment his awesome dental practice. I am a fan!
