Negative experience: Sorry but this place was weird. The receptionists were not very helpful at all and the dentist didnt seem nice at all. My husband seriously needed work done because we were going on vacation and they wouldnt pull his tooth or offer him any kind of comfort whatsoever. Then he was suppose to go back the next week and they sent him a message canceling his appointment just out the blue. Im sorry but I do not recommend this business at all. I dont believe we will be going back anymore.

Positive experience: First..I went for extractions and ended up with a broke tooth during extractions and it was fixed very quickly..not sure how long it'll last though 2nd..I was getting first 3 feelings and over a month later I still have a numbed lip, a swollen mouth, and pain from being given numbing medication 3 times. UNACCEPTABLE!!! MY TEETH BETTER BE GREAT AFTERWARDS AND A WHITENING FOR MY PAIN AND SWELLING. COULD BE ALOT WORSE! AND, NO MORE PROBLEMS!!!!! UPDATE: DR. GRAHAM IS AMAZING AND I'M GRATEFUL TO FINALLY HAVE THE RIGHT DOCTOR NOW DOING MY FEELINGS.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice and very professional. All my questions were answered promplty and even provided with payment plan options. I felt very welcomed and no judgment whatsoever. They were also very time efficient. Definitely recommending to my friends and family. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Not only does this location have the absolute friendliest staff, but the doctors that are at this here are truly wonderful!! If you are looking for a dentist, I highly suggest giving this office a call and scheduling an appointment.

Negative experience: The dentist I had was extremely rude everytime I went. I always felt uncomfortable. But what really crossed the line for me was lying to my face for profit. I was bit into a jolly rancher like an idiot and it broke part of my tooth. So I went back to them even though I wasn’t comfortable because my tooth was exposed. The dentist told me I would either need a root canal or extraction. I had just been to them a few months prior and none of this had been mentioned. He said that it can happen that quick. I decided to get a second opinion since I had just started my job and have better insurance. I didn’t need a root canal, and i definitely didn’t need an extraction. I was given the option of a filling or crown because my X-rays showed that my cavity wasn’t anywhere near the root. Not to mention this second opinion was 2 months later. My tooth was completely exposed all that time and I still did not need a root canal or extraction!! As someone who works in the medical field, I’m shocked that a facility meant to help people would lie so easily just for profit. Recommending unnecessary procedures is not only ethically wrong, but it’s pushing malpractice. I was told by your doctor I needed the root canal as soon as possible or I would have no choice but to extract. Again, I actually only needed a filling but was given the option to get a crown since I will eventually need one most likely. Pushing and pressuring people into procedures as quickly as possibly is not okay, but to lie and make someone think they need a major procedure that they actually don’t need is just disgusting. The only people I want in charge of my health are people who care about the people, not the money. How can you sleep at night knowing you lie to your patients faces about their health?? Patients that trust you and your professional opinion. That’s wrong and I suggest everyone think long and hard about that before coming here.

Fantastic experience: Weeks ago, I completed the process of getting partials with Friendly Dental Group of West Gastonia. I cannot express just how impressed I am with my experience. Staff excellent from front door all through process! I'm very happy with end result and held off for a few weeks before posting, so I could include how the fit sits with me over a little time. Good quality, partials are precise and comfortable. Thanks to everyone in the office your professionalism and care is a blessing!

Fantastic experience: I'm terrified of the dentist from a bad experience as a child, from the minute they called me Keke was amazing understanding and very compassionate Dr Bishop was great they explained all my options and helped me get the rest of my appointments scheduled to help me fix my teeth and smile!!

Negative experience: Today. I went to get a bite adjustment for fillings, because I felt the side where the fillings are were shorter. I thought they could adjust it like that, I didn’t know shaving it was the only way. Mind you, I’m the patient, that’s my thought process, I’m not the doctor. Anyway, he started the procedure and shaved down my teeth, I felt the pain and moved. Upon him doing that, he didn’t add any numbing until he saw me move. Never since I’ve been coming here have I had any fillings without numbing. He places the numbing, sits me there, and comes back to ask what exactly makes me feel I need a bite adjustment. I told him, and he said well it’s nothing he can do about that. I said I didn’t know I thought you could put something to make both sides of my teeth clench together, however, one side clenches, the other is cut very short. He left out of the room without saying anything but he couldn’t do anything about it. My back was turnt, I thought he just went silent, until I turned around, and he was gone. Very rude to walk away like that. Not even a suggestion. Since it hurts to eat and the teeth are cut shorter than before, it’s possible it was cut to close to the nerve. Even the assistant said while he was in the room that the fillings may need to be redone, but of course he left out of the room after that this and I was sent home with a numb mouth and face. Mind you, the doctor gave no suggestion or advice about nothing. The medical assistant was more nicer and suggested the feelings should be redone, but of course it’s not up to her. But she is the type of person who is more fit to be a doctor. She didn’t act nasty or like she doesn’t want to help. If you don’t like your job, stop wasting your time in medical fields, we come here for help, and here you are acting like you don’t even want to help, and just rush every appointment. I had a filling done a long time ago, it hurt to eat on, doctor said floss, I did that for months, still hurt. That was probably 2 years ago, it still hurt, but there’s no doctor to go to that cares.

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient here at this location on Myrtle School Road, on and off for 8 years. While Dr. Muhmud and Dr. Duval was there. I was in dental heaven. While the office help and staff are wonderful. The new lady doctor is still wearing diapers. I was just there on 12/1/25 . I knew I had a tooth infection in one the teeth in my bridge. It felt to me, it was the back tooth but, the lady doctor told me it was the front tooth. So, I went to Dr. Sunny on Garrison Boulevard to get a second opinion and it is definitely the back tooth. While I did have 2 prior root canals in this bridge and both of these root canals done at this location. Now I’m having to have one of the root canals done over because , it wasn’t done correctly. And while I understand that the preschoolers can not do a root canal in a bridge. I feel like she didn’t know what she was talking about. And sent me out the door as quickly as I came in. So my advice please don’t get attached to any of these doctors. They are coming in straight out from dental school. No telling how many classes they missed while in dental school. So they have no experience and I feel are unexperienced and uneducated to be doing this type of work without a more experienced doctor above them and watching their every move. Negative experience: This is the worst location ever. I’ve had to go to 2 different dentist to fix their problems. They(officer manager here) literally called me in to fix their problems, where they messed up several fillings, like around 12 to be exact. Not 1 or 2. I get there, everyone but the manager is giving me the death stare. When the girl called my name, my partner walked outside, he knew from the look on her face it was going to go bad. They hook me up to nitrous, I ask the girl who brought me back and hooked me up why she was being so rude, she blew up like a 8 year old, told them she would not assist in treating me. She said nitrous was not sedating and I’d be fine to drive. I could barely feel my legs when I left. Do you really want these people anesthetizing you or your children, when they think anesthesia doesn’t make you inebriated? Not to mention they never kept their word and fixed their screw up. Which has cost me $3000 to repair so far, and there’s still more the new dentist has to repair. So from the general manager who gave me her word to fix my teeth, and didn’t, to the very dangerous “lady” they have administering their non-anesthetic nitrous, wow-o-wow.shame on yall! I’ll pray for yall, I know how much karma can suck. Update, the manager reached out to me today, 8 months later because I posted this review, to apologize. She knew the circumstances way before this review was posted, now I don’t like her. She says that “lady” is no longer with them, nor the dentist. That shows I was right and they were incompetent. The damage has already been done however. Take it for what it’s worth. So far about $3000 and counting. It’s so funny all of these new 5 star reviews. I can’t wait to come back in 6 months and see what these 1st time new “patients” have to say. I went there for years. They were nice to me as long as I played their game and paid a lot of money. They didn’t go crazy and get sideways until they had to start fixing things they broke. That’s when they all changed. They suck! Not professional. Not even sure they have real dentist there. And will NOT correct their mistakes! Very expensive mistakes. It was very obvious they could care less what they did to me, until I posted this review! They(the office manager) flat out lied to my face, twice! I can’t stress enough, you have one set of teeth. Don’t let some strip mall dollar store dentist screw them up!

Negative experience: Imagine paying thousands of dollars on dental care just to have to go to another dentist for the mistakes that one place made. This place is horrible. Come to find out from other dentist this is where they go right when they get out of school It is two years later and I’m still trying to fix the mistakes that this place made.

I chose to try the West Gastonia office and Jennifer and Lisa were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The dentist also made me feel much more comfortable. If the Gaston Mall location scares you, the West Gastonia office is a much better choice for you!

Fantastic experience: I had 22 teeth pulled and never felt a thing. I had them pulled for various reasons. When I say I never felt a thing I can't stress that enough. Extremely super nice staff from the front to the back. Melissa and Edith and all the girls at the desk make you feel like you matter. Dante is funny, professional and makes you feel important. I was disappointed at first because I was having abscess after abscess and went in there and the dentist who is there all the time doesn't pull teeth, he only does cleaning and things like that. However after they told me to start calling a surgeon to have all the teeth pulled, they called me back 2 days later and asked if I could come in the next day which was a Saturday. Their old surgeon was going to be there and wanted to take a look at my mouth. He told me he wanted to pull them but understood if I wasn't comfortable about having that many pulled and me not being put to sleep? I said no, I just wanted them out. He said you do realize that your entire mouth will be numb and it will require loads of shots to numb it. I didn't care,I just wanted them out. I had been in pain for so long with swollen jaws and face. Also numbness and infection. I couldn't take it anymore. So they got to work (Dr Mahmoud) I believe that's his name got to work on me and couldn't believe how well I was doing. I never ever felt one thing. Not one twinge of pain or sting or anything. He does this wiggle technique to do the shots and it's amazing how well it works. They kept my mind off of everything that was going on. If I ever have more issues I will be going back to them. Thank you guys and thanks ladies at the desk. I will post some pictures later. I feel like I need to go back in for an adjustment. But that's all ok. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome experience at Friendly Dental from start to finish. The receptionists were super friendly and great at keeping in touch. I had Dr. Trivedi he is such a great guy, you can really tell he loves what he does. He’s super patient, has a great vibe, and made me feel totally at ease. Plus, their prices are affordable if you need any major dental work done. Definitely a 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited friendly dental group and was seen by Dr Duval; my experience was exceptional. As someone who's had a lot of dental issues and tends to get very nervous at dentist offices I usually don't have much positive to say. However, this office was unlike the rest of the dentists I've been to in the past, from the moment I stepped in the front door I felt welcomed. Everyone was so sweet and understanding and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. The front desk was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful especially with my insurance benefits that I sometimes get confused with. The Dr was gentle, caring, and knew instantly what needed to be done. I've never felt so comfortable in a dentist office in my life, nor so satisfied when I left. I will be returning for all my future dental needs. I highly recommend this office of Friendly Dental Group to anyone needing any dental work done.

I've transferred my 2 granddaughters to this practice so they can have great dental experiences. They will not fear dentists as I have all my life. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place, they give me reminders of my appointments, the front desk staff is friendly and professional, the place is clean, I was in and out in a short period of time, did not have to wait in line, the dentist is professional and he went over my treatment plan with me and the front desk did the same at the end and let me know what was covered with my insurance. I would give 100 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist got scans at 8 am they worked with my insurance and asked when I wanted to start and I said now. They said come back at 11 and got a double root canal in less than an hour! No pain
