Villalobos Dental Care

Positive experience: Experience has been ok, but every time I have gone for my scheduled appointment I don’t see the dentist till 30 mins after my scheduled appointment, ( I’m sitting in the dental chair during my appointment for 30-50 mins sometimes waiting to be seen) I even was scheduled for 9am the first appointment and wasn’t seen till at least 9:30 which is a bit frustrating since I had to take off part of my work day for the appointment. I’ve only been a client for 2 months so far, I originally thought all my appointments would be with Dr. Vivian since I have her as my selected provider/ physician on my insurance card but every time I ask to see her I’m told she’s not taking any appointments or is retiring soon…. And I saw her in the office this morning taking a patient… anyways I have been seeing Dr. Laura S… experience has been alright but I prefer to see Dr. Vivian since this is her practice and she’s the one on my insurance card but the office basically has refused to give me her availability any time I have asked.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Villalobos’s dental office is amazing regarding their professional services, premises, schedules, customer care and treatments. I’m so glad for having found them and seriously recommend her and her team. Way to go!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Vivian Villalobos for more 25 years as a patients. Many times that Dr. Villalobos was able to find time for emergencies to fit my teeth. In addition, she does implant too. I had 5 implants from her.

You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and wants everything done just right. Those gentle hands are a blessing, especially for someone sitting in a dental chair! I wish her and her husband, who is also a dentist, so much success as they begin this exciting new chapter with the practice. They are such a wonderful addition, and I know the office is in amazing hands. The entire reception staff is always friendly and welcoming, especially Maria, who is an absolute sweetheart. And Belkys, my dental hygienist, is simply THE BEST! She is thorough, caring, and always makes me feel comfortable. I’m so happy I found this dental office and highly recommend them! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: I came in for my six-month checkup with no pain and was told I needed two filling, which was performed by Dr. Sulovari. After the filling, I returned due to pain when biting. On my second visit, I was told the fillings were too high. By my third visit, Dr. Sulovari had already filed the tooth twice, yet the pain continued, and I was dismissively told to “wait.” On my fourth visit, I was seen by Dr. Villalobos, who could not resolve the issue and again told me to wait another two weeks, providing only desensitizing gel to apply at home. It was during this visit that I was informed the office charted the wrong tooth — the tooth listed in my records as having been filled was not the tooth that was actually worked on or the one causing pain. It’s also important to confirm which doctor you are being scheduled with when booking, as I believed I was booking with Dr. Villalobos but initially arrived to be seen by a different provider. After four visits, months of pain, change in my bite, incorrect charting disclosed only at the fourth visit, and no resolution, I am now seeking care elsewhere. Sharing so others know to confirm provider, tooth number, and documentation if issues persist

Fantastic experience: I have always loved Dr. V. Villalobos care and consideration. I have recommended her to my friends. Especially since the Coronavirus her environment is safe and exceptional! Over the weekend I heard a crack in one of my molars. I called Monday morning and was able to see Dr V the very same day! I was very thankful that they were able to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment. Dr Villalobos & staff go the extra mile with extra personal protective wear: shoe covers, body covers, hair covers, masks, & gloves. All of their dental rooms are exceptionally clean. Everyone is kind and helpful to understand when we're in pain and need their help for our dental needs. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☺️ Top notch service!

Negative experience: Despite her kindness, I wanted to go for an annual dental check-up to see what she suggested for my teeth. When I got there, she asked why I came. I mentioned wanted to fix my teeth (perhaps getting braces); she did mention it would be $4k. She just checked my teeth with her fingers and the dental mirror and took one x-ray. She mentioned she couldn't work on my tooth because it had been incomplete procedure. My plan was to fix my teeth, but she ended up not helping. Before going in, I checked the review and I liked it.

Positive experience: The service was great, and the professionals were phenomenal. They were all very kind, respectful, and informative. The only negative was that there were a lot of emergencies the day I had my appointment so it took them extremely longer to tend to me. This is not their fault, they cannot control how many emergency walk-in’s they have. My appointment was for around 3 PM. They did not finish my routine cleaning until around 6 PM.

Positive experience: When it comes to basic dental care, Villalobos Dental is great. However, when asked if they performed orthodontic repair work (loose retainer), the receptionist said yes only to discover once we arrived, they do not.
