Negative experience: Thought this place was ok at first. Most of the staff was pretty nice, told me my teeth looked nice, so I liked it well enough. Until I had actual dental work done. I needed a cavity replaced and it was the worst pain of my life. They had a hygienist numb me and all the numbing went to the back of my throat and tongue, but I felt everything in the tooth. My numb throat/tongue gagged me and choked me the entire procedure, meanwhile my tooth pain was out of this world. I couldn’t control the leg thrashing as I tried to keep my head still. I have had a root canal, my wisdom teeth removed, and a subsequent abscess i&d and none of it was as truly horrific as this. More painful than my unmedicated childbirth. Which I tolerated in silence, by the way, according to my doula, so I am not a dramatic person when in pain. I could not recommend this place LESS. The dentist also was very visibly irritated with me and casting glances at her assistant the whole time. We have also experienced the hygienists discouraging us from seeing the dentist during cleanings. I have never not seen a dentist at a cleaning before. At my husband’s cleaning, he was dismissed without seeing the dentist. When he asked if he was going to get to see one, the hygienist’s response was “well, I’m not sure if she has time. But I will see.” It’s crazy!! I’ve never seen an office run like this. I will be on the hunt for a new dentist.

Negative experience: Worst dentist experience i have ever went to i had a tooth removed today they didnt numb me right and felt the whole think then they send me home with toradol and said good luck.. i have a very low pain tolerance , I was literally screaming in the chair , begging them to stop because it hurt so bad and then they tell me to go home and take tylenol with it you will be fine... Thanks alot DR. Mendez. AS a high functioning autistic I can still tell when mal practice yes Happening , especially when you're yelling , stop seven times and they don't stop. NOT Right

Fantastic experience: I found Parklane Dentistry at the Mall on a Saturday morning when I had a dental emergency. I was calling around to try to find an emergency dentist and discovered that Parklane is open one Saturday a month and I happened to call on that Saturday. I got my problem resolved and have been a patient there since. Dr. Kris and his hygienist, Amber, are wonderful people and I always enjoy the visit as well as the service. The whole staff make a patient feel very comfortable. I will continue to go to Parklane as long as I am able and highly recommend them to others.
