Fantastic experience: I’m not saying that I was in a life or death situation, but the pain made it feel like I was! Called the evening before and the front desk scheduled an appointment for first thing the next morning. I had to have a tooth extracted from under my bridge and a crown replaced. Dr Goldtrap and his team went into full action mode, no reschedule after initial exam, all about getting the problem solved! Very thankful for their professionalism and willingness to get me taken care of immediately

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit! I absolutely loved my hygienist! She Rocked! She cleaned my teeth so well and explained everything! I think this was the best my teeth have ever been cleaned! The dentist was great too and so was the whole office staff! If you’re looking for a dentist I would definitely recommend Artistic Smiles!

Negative experience: I spent almost $3000 for new dentures in the beginning of 2025. Not even a year later multiple teeth began falling out of the dentures and Artistic smiles told me “no warranty and I’ll have to pay out of pocket for any repairs. DO NOT USE. WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. PERIOD. I have to use WALMART REPAIR CEMENT ON NEW DENTURES BECAUSE THIS PLACE HAS NO MORALS OR ETHICS. There’s no good response to this in their defense but I can’t wait to see what it is Dentures should last more than a year!! I Update: CALLED THEM BACK AND THEY WANT A $50 OFFICE VISIT to “see” if they would fix them. SERIOUSLY want to charge me $50 to see if they will even help me. No thanks. I truly thought a local grown and raised doctor would do better. Shame. Perhaps it’s just the office help. Either way.

Fantastic experience: I've had problems with my teeth for as long as I can remember. I have seen countless dentists. I have never had as good of an experience with a dentist office as I have with Dr. Goldtrap. There has never been a single time where Dr. Goldtrap or one of his great dental assistants have made me feel ashamed for the condition my teeth are in. I've never had a dentist that made me feel like they genuinely care about me. I recommend this office to everybody I know that are experiencing dental problems, and he will be my dentist for as long as he continues his practice. I cant put into words how appreciative I am for Dr. Goldtrap and his assistants. They do an amazing job and they genuinely care about their patients. Im very happy that I found this office. Fantastic experience: Only the best dentist I've ever been to. Ive always hated the dentist which has led me to the problems i have with my teeth. If this was the only dentist Id been to I'd never be where I am. Staff from start to finish is hand down gold. Welcoming atmosphere. Sweet and kind front desk. Dental assistants are pure perfection. The dentist himself listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I felt no pain. I literally cried from the joy I felt with the outcome. If youre looking for an amazing dental experience THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. not a 5 star. They surpass that.

Fantastic experience: I could sum up my experience with two words: A Godsend! - but that wouldn’t do this practice enough justice or praise. I have suffered with periodontal disease over two decades, underwent painful, and expensive procedures from Santa Fe to Memphis to NWA; still losing many teeth along the way. After breaking a canine, we found Dr. Goldtrap at Artistic Smiles to be one of the VERY few dentists to still take adult Medicaid. After this extraction, Dr. Goldtrap quoted a reasonable price on full dentures. Mind you this is NOT one of those “Denture Mills”. I got very good quality plates made to my specifications to match my original shape and bite. Everyone there from Marrianne at the desk, Diana, the tech, and especially the Good Doctor went above and beyond to work with Medicaid to cover the extractions which were medically necessary in my case. Diana and Dr. Goldtrap put my anxiety to ease and made a potential nightmare into a dream. Come true! He really cares about his patients. The aftercare is amazing also. I am truly blessed to be treated by them. This is a very thorough, professional practice with an excellent team, pleasant facility, and the best care I’ve had in NWA. Fantastic experience: The gratitude we have for Artistic Smiles is beyond expression, much like the new one they gave my partner. If you are looking for a place that goes above and beyond for you, look no further! We went through over a year long nightmare to find a provider that would accept my partner as a patient. One that was willing to work through a system issue after Medicaid transitioned its dental benefits program to a fee-for-service model. This change made it difficult for providers to verify my partners specific dental coverage and we were repeatedly turned down. We struck gold when I reached out to Artistic Smiles and spoke with Office Manager, Marianne. She continued to work with me and Medicaid until we were assured that the extractions for my partners dentures were covered. It’s wild to think that the grueling journey we went through could have been prevented over something that was resolved by Marianne’s willingness. She is a prime example of how every single person who holds her title should perform. She took the severity of the condition of his mouth serious and understood the critical risks to his health if action wasn’t taken. Because of Marianne and her diligence and patience, we can now breathe and my partner can smile confidently. She is gem in her field! As for Dr Goldtrap and my partners denture adventures, I’ve been through it with him and am blown away by the extra miles he goes to ensure the best outcome through healing and long term success. I have already booked my appointment to get established as a patient myself. He is EXTRAORDINARY! With the deepest gratitude, thank you Dr Goldtrap and team for putting “miles” into his Smile”!

Fantastic experience: Claire is amazing! All the staff is great. Dr. Goldtrap is very personable and knowledgeable. They make you feel very comfortable and help you and educate you on current and preventable issues. Their quality of care is top notch!

Negative experience: Stay away from this dentist office if they make a mistake, they will not take responsibility. I had a simple root canal done and a crown on one tooth first I’ve ever had of my life and because of that I couldn’t eat on that side for three months, and I guess because I grind my teeth and all the chewing on that one side caused another problem that they refuse to even look at.Then they send me this letter, even though I never once threatened anybody it’s all just their excuse to drop me as a patient. Worst experience ever at a dentist.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Artistic Smiles are very knowledgeable and helpful. They do a great job of giving you the information about your teeth and your treatment options, but giving you the choice about when and how you want to take care of everything. They are kind and make the visits as comfortable as possible. I have no hesitations in recommending them.

Negative experience: My dtr went in for consult for her wisdom teeth for a xray and talk about what next steps would be 6.26.25. Dr Goldtrap said she has two wisdom and he could excise them right then 1 was emerged one was impacted. She tried to voice her questions ( what is the recovery time. what does the procedure look like, etc) but they were all discounted and downplayed by Dr, Goldtrap. She wanted to call her boyfriend to ask his opinion and the Dentist just brushed it off and said " No you will be fine.". She explained she had classes that night and next day and a double shift in two days. He again discounted it saying he did the same procedure on his 16 yo dtr and she was fine and went to swim practice after( which is contraindicated when you have impacted teeth removed). She finally felt so much pressure to get it done but she explained she is very anxious with dental work and a bad experience she had under laughing gas and drove home one time not remembering the drive. He told her that was incorrect that is not how that worked. During the extraction she was crying and shaking and he stopped one time to tell her " to stop ..you will be fine". Needless to say he was a bully and it was very traumatzing. No call to check on her she bleed all night. I called left a message to talk to the dr the next day. No call back. I called the following day talked to the office secretary and left a message for him to call back no call back. Now no one picks the phone up to answer. We filed a complaint with the Arkansas Dentist board. Wish we would of seen these google reviews. Please do not go here. My dtr lives out of state going to college went here trying to find an empathetic and good provider. He is not one.

Fantastic experience: Grateful for Dr. Goldtrap and his office. Came here as referral from my son’s dentist to get his root canal taken care of. My son, who can have dental anxiety, had a positive experience. While I was waiting, I shared my need for a root canal and they squeezed me in (my dentist was not responding to my messages to get it taken care of and the pain was continuing). Plan to transfer to this office even though it’s a drive for me; it’s been the best and most thorough experience I’ve had. Hygienist was kind too. Trusting they are working well with my insurance and hope to continue having a great experience in the future.

Fantastic experience: This dentistry office changed my opinion of the field. I deal with dental anxiety and they took care of me expertly. They offered multiple care/health plan options, they created a space of low anxiety and thoughtful explanations, heck they even had a massaging dentists chair! When I walked in, it was the first time I stepped foot in a dental office in almost 20 years. They calmed all my fears and I now consider them my new regular dentist. Also major thanks to the hygienist Claire, who was the one able to get me calmed down and well taken care of!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Carlson is very good at what he does, these guys will take great care of you and get you back feeling better than you ever could have imagined.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this dentist. I paid out of pocket for three fillings and an inlay. I was told the inlay would save me from needing a crown. Not only was it the most painful experience of my life but I paid before the visit. Then, they called me back and said they underestimated and needed me to pay more so I did. Now they are saying I still owe and sending it to collections. AND the inlay they did is having to be taken out and redone by my new dentist because it’s cracked and causing me extreme pain. To top it all off, my new dentist said the inlay just needed a filling to begin with. The dentist himself and the staff are very kind but I highly recommend avoiding this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Hands-down, the best deep cleaning I’ve ever had. My hygienist was very friendly, thorough and accurate with her placement with the Instruments used. Very clean environment in the office along with perks like, natural teas, coffee, & massages chairs. Fantastic experience!

Fantastic experience: Cleaning appointment on the books today and a reported tooth ache turned in to an abscess tooth finding that was a necessary root canal and crown replacement. I love that it was able to all be done ‘today’ and in one doctor visit. Thank you sooo much! Work by this team feels so thorough! Before, that would have been a dentist and endodontist!

Negative experience: Was told my business was not welcomed. When I showed up for an appointment I made that was cancelled without my knowledge then when I try to reschedule they want to charge a $50 fee when it was their mistake in the first place. I took time from work to show up and be turned away. A health care business that does not put their patients first is not something anyone should want to be associated with. I have been going to this place for 4 years but since new ownership, loyalty is not rewarded. *Edit to Reply*: I asked multiple times to reschedule and on the third attempt was told "I can tell this will be hassle" and refused my business. I have never missed an appointment and have paid thousands of dollars through the years. They mention that their own employees time is valuable, but my time the customer is not even considered. I called multiple times to move my appointment the day of as I didnt have time to move otherwise. Again I have never missed an appointment or even heard of said policy until I arrive to a cancelled appointment with my time from work to travel there not even considered.

Fantastic experience: Originally, I came to Artistic Smiles because of its convenient location, but I stayed for the wonderful care. Formerly Lifestyle and now Artistic Smiles is the same great place. Dr. Hubbs left us in awesome hands with Dr. Goldtrap. Their hygienists are the best. I don’t ever dread going. They are very thorough and gentle. Not to mention all their chairs are massage chairs! Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Goldtrap at Artistic Smiles if you need a dentist. I get a lot of anxiety at the dentist due to past experience, but he did a crown for me today, and truthfully, it was painless!!! The numbing shots did not hurt like in the past! He is very gentle and he also makes his own crowns so you don’t have to wait with a temporary crown to deal with. He does it all in one visit. Best dentist ever!!!

Fantastic experience: Life Style Dentistry truly caters to those like myself who are anxious about going to the dentist. I had not gone to a dentist for years out of fear. Dr. Goldtrap and staff took the time to alleviate my fears and set up a treatment that worked for me. It was amazing! I loved that he made my crowns on site and put them in the same day. Fantastic experience: We are new to the area, and after one visit with another dentist, was searching for a better fit. Found Life Style Dentistry, and the first test was how they did with my impatient 11 year old - they handled him so well, the x-rays were super easy and fast, and he had a great cleaning (cried at the last dentist visit). Then I was next, super quick and easy, apparently i had a cavity that needed treatment (Missed by the other dentist 6mos ago?) - filled right there in about 3 min. Didn't need another trip, or take more time off from work. The office space is clean and pleasant, and the staff is friendly and competent. The front desk was so patient with me and my families schedule when trying to get the rest of the family an appt.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing, Had a crown come off, didn’t have a local dentist so looked up one close with great ratings and they did not disappoint. Went in and Dr. Goldtrap (no joke) took great care of me cleaned up my old crown put it back on gave me a truthful explanation that it might stay on 3 days or 3 years but didn’t try and tell me this one is no good and better just do a new one. He was extremely thorough, extremely pleasant the facility is immaculate the music playing in office was right up my ally and the staff was nothing but top notch, from the front desk checking you in to the hygienist that was equally nice and conversational to the person checking you out and scheduling your next appointment. I can say I wasn’t having a very pleasant day up to that point and after leaving there it had changed my mood drastically for the better. We tend to take the time to complain about life’s little things but rarely give praise to people that truly deserve it, so that’s why I had to take the time and do what I felt was deserved for all there efforts, if all businesses conducted themselves this way it would be such a blessing. I am definitely going back and sending family and friends their way. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Since Dr. Goldtrap took over from Dr. Hubbs the upgrading of equipment and service has been proceeding at a wonderful rate! The latest? Hand-held digital x-ray! More precise and you don't have to buried under a heavy lead blanket for simple x-rays! Fantastic experience: I just had to have a root canal. Dr. Goldtrap did several tests to determine what needed to be done to solve my problem before doing the root canal. He Also worked me in today which was great so I didn’t have to have any more pain from the tooth. He is very patient & very thorough! The dentist is not my favorite place but Life Style dentistry is outstanding!!! The staff is also friendly & helpful.

Negative experience: My daughter had work done here 2 years ago that was then denied by insurance. They said it didn't need to be done and each appeal was denied. So, the dentist sent me the full bill and after calling and talking with them, they said that I didn't need to worry about it. Now, the office denies this and has sent the bill to collections. To make matters worse, I had to get that same tooth repaired by a different dentist who agreed with the insurance company that it shouldn't have been messed with originally. Beware of this dentist office. They have shady billing policies, push procedures that don't need to be done, and have no issue being dishonest. Update: The new owner called and told me to take this review down. I refused because it's 100% accurate. We haven't been to the new dentist so my review is on the previous dentist and their policies. However, the new dentist sent this to collections instead of honoring what I was told previously. I feel as though it's a shakedown for additional money, two years after the procedure.

Negative experience: I'm rating this place a one star.. took my daughter in to have some work done, before we could even get started I had to tell them what all was suppose to been done even though they had been sent over a referral that explains what she needed and to have someone not be prepared. I still told him and to be rudely cut off ever time in mid way of trying to explain what she needed.. I could go on but I will never come back here.

Fantastic experience: I was scheduled quickly to deal with quite a list of issues. Hygienist & dentist were very thorough treating my entire mouth. This included identification of a badly done crown that was causing bone loss and would have wreaked havoc on my mouth if left any longer.

Negative experience: The dentist is always a scary place for me but lifestyle as made it such a pleasant experience each visit. Would HIGHLY recommend them. Updated review: Long story short I originally came in because I had a crown that was broken and it was pretty bad. Not to mention I had a filling that was never treated the entire time I was going. They don’t do what needs to be done and now I am having to go to a new dentist and have everything redone. Not to mention they never helped my gum disease instead they made it worse.

Negative experience: Run away…. do not go here if you want to want to keep a sense a self worth. This place ESPECIALLY front workers were AWFUL!!! They treated me as if I were dumb, clueless, and not worth any of their time or work. When I had a conversation with one worker, the other girls would stare and listen then turn they’re back and talk in such an UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER. They are supposed to do THEIR job, wether it be a financial consultant, or receptionist, and the lady wasn’t even willing to help me FINANCIALLY FIGURE OUT COSTS she was basically telling me and wanting me to figure out the rest…so helpful. (sarcasm) get a new job or change your mindset to new patients in your office.

Even though I was embarrassed about my teeth, they never once made me feel bad about how my teeth were and have supported my journey to a healthier (and prettier ) mouth ever since!

Fantastic experience: We are new to Rogers and found Lifestyle Dentistry online. We were able to get in the next day for overdue cleanings and were scheduled for procedures the very next week. Dr Goldtrap and staff were very attentive during my crowns and fillings making sure I was comfortable the entire time. The massage chairs were a nice touch and the military discount was appreciated. We highly recommend Lifestyle Dentistry.
