Fantastic experience: Been coming to Mount Zion for years and I always leave so much better than I came. Everyone in the office is super nice and the front office is super accommodating of my schedule and work hard to get me in as soon as possible. Special shout out to my hygienist Mariam! She’s the literal best and explains everything with my teeth in a way I can actually understand (she’s also great with my cleanings). Also love Dr. Cook! I don’t have dentist insurance and Dr. Cook is super accommodating, explaining all of my options and how much it’ll be. All around 10 out of 10. I have a follow-up on Monday, so will definitely be coming back ❤️

Negative experience: I did my crown with Dr cook almost 2 years ago and my crown was never put it on right. i was told by another dentist that there is no reason why I am still experiencing sensitivity. That there must be a fine line of a crack that i would have to do this again. i was very upset and spend money doing this. I told Dr cook that i did still feel sensitive at the time and all she did was brush it off. I left and never went back!!!

Negative experience: The hygienist was good but the actual dentist experience was not at all , I went in for a routine check up and cleaning, and they recommend some additional cleaning/ treatments. I told them that I didn't plan on doing any additional work today I just came in for a check up and cleaning , the dentist came out and ask me to sign a waiver because I didn't want to do the additional treatment plan and tell me I need to sign a waiver or they wouldn't do the cleaning I came for . Keep in mind in a hospital environment waiver is only sign when you doing some kinda of treatments/operation with some kinda of risk not at a dentist office for a cleaning where they might be putting some antibiotics solution in your mouth , I had to get stitches and never ask to sign a waiver. and I ask her to tighten my partial and she never return they're very aggressive in getting the customer to pay for service although you didn't even plan on doing the treatment at that point and time.

Fantastic experience: I am glad I found this dental office. An all female office. They all treated me very nicely. The D.D.S. is very professional. The equipment in the office looks new and is all state of the art. I was a electrical contractor and I loved my tool. So seeing what they had to work with made me feel that I was in good hands. I look forward to a long relationship with this doctor and her staff.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and clean place. Queer friendly. Everyone is professional. Got my wisdom teeth pulled out by Dr Maria and Dr Luis and both did a very great job. The assistants and other staff members were informative and helpful. Good place to go to.

Negative experience: I have been coming here for years and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars. After I unfortunately lost my insurance, I was told a checkup and cleaning is $400 and they will give me a discounted price of $250. For less than an hour of time, mostly with a hygienist. That pays for her ENTIRE daily salary. As long as I had insurance, all was okay. Their cash prices are absurd. Between all the multiple people I've referred here and all the work I've done myself, to ask for that for a check up is crazy. I used to really love this place, but I never realized how they treat cash patients. All the lady at the front desk wants to do is press her point. $250 is not ok for a long term patient check-up that's been coming regularly. Very disappointed and I wasted half my day today. Please email me my X-rays. P.S. upon further contemplation, I paid $3.5K for an implant crown here, which came off 3 times in less than 1 year and they asked for $1500 additional to "fix" it. I honestly should have known right then. I usually don't leave reviews, but if they choose to say what they said to me today and how, it's fair game ‍♂️

She made the deep cleaning seemed like a breeze. She was very helpful and provided me with tips to care for my teeth. I am glad that I didn't skip my appointment!

Negative experience: Don't go to this place if you don't want money stripped away from you. My mother went to this place and she paid her copayment for a cleaning. When she got home her insurance told her that she had to pay $250 when she only had a cleaning. Why are they making her pay more for what she get. Stay far away.

Fantastic experience: I found Mount Zion Dental on Opencare. The office staff are super friendly and worked with me to find appointment times that worked into my busy schedule. They sat with me and walked me through every expense before treatment. Dr. Maria is a super kind dentist. She is conservative when it comes to her treatments and care. And she takes the time to explain the why behind every step. The office is located in a run down building. But don’t let the building sway your decision for treatment, Mount Zion itself is super clean and professional. I’m super super nervous when it comes to to going to the dentist and after my first visit I was put to ease. I’ll be back.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this dentist since 2018-2019 however, after my experience today on the phone with the somewhat new receptionist Grace, I officially will be finding a new dentist. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional and patronizing service from a receptionist. Sorry to say they’ve lost a customer. I even stayed with them after Dr. Cook negligently BURNED off part of my lip during my first root canal, but this type of customer service is despicable.

I had been with stitches and down with much pain. But with this dentistry with That amazing Staff and Dr Cook with those amazing hands a skills that she has, I walk out with no pain and I didn't feel nothing she did ,Top of the charts "The Best "

She did things too make the procedure painful. At the same time she blamed and chastised me for what she was doing. Never will be back.

Upon visiting my family in south Florida from Oregon I had an horrible toothache which the side of my face was in pain, I call mostly every dental clinic they were all very expensive with insurance at that until I stumbled on mount Zion on google, at that same exact moment I gave a call and was scheduled that same day and started working on my tooth while she was busy with other clients and was manager to squeeze me in after noticing the pain I was in she did her best. To help relieve the pain with a root canal treatment.dr Maria is like an angel in human flesh!!!
