Fantastic experience: Great experience from start to finish! The office was clean, professional, and the dental staff provided excellent care. A special thank you to Lisa and Kennedy at the front desk—they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire process. Fantastic experience: I went to Blank dental in Powell for the first time today and it was an amazing experience or as good as a dentist experience can be, I was seen by Tracey a hygienist, she was kind and gave easy to follow directions and made appropriate small talk, the room was a nice environment as well with a tv playing in the background it was all very lowkey which is nice for a dental office. My teeth were cleaned throughly and well and overall my time at Blank dental and with Tracey was amazing.

Fantastic experience: Staff was very courteous and helpful. Explained the procedure and executed it wonderfully. My teeth have never felt cleaner. The young woman at the front desk, Ashley, was super friendly and made the whole process easy. Great smile as well!

Fantastic experience: I came in for my cleaning and I was met with the brightest smiles at the front desk (and the lobby was so peaceful). Lisa helped me with my paperwork questions, and Kennedy explained my insurance to me! I never knew how intricate my insurance was! Tracy cleaned my teeth and helped me best understand how to manage my brushing habits and keep my tartar buildup down! I had to get some work done though, and I was REALLY nervous about price, but the treatment coordinator, Ashley (funny right?!) answered all my questions and reinforced my faith in what Dr. Krause told me. Amy held my hand during my injection because I am a nervous nellie!!! Great work all around! I can’t wait to come back in 6 months to see all these lovely people!!!!!

Negative experience: They do not respect budgets, bring up new charges last minute and the way they treat is disrespectful (even laughing in the face).

Fantastic experience: I went in for a consultation for full upper and lower implants. I did alot of research and drove 2.75hrs to get there. I knew right about what the cost would be and I was accurate. I am very nervous because I've had alot of issues in my 44yrs. So for me this was alot about me feeling comfortable with the Dr. and his staff. And I will tell you they're all amazing the staff was very friendly, accommodating and understanding of my concerns and anxiety. But the Dr really sealed the deal for me, he's very straight forward and understanding as well. I did not expect to sign up to do all of this next month(hopefully) i fully expected to have to go to numerous places before I felt comfortable with everybody. But I was blown away how great each and every person was from the top down and I know there's not another office or staff that will put me at ease the way they did. Though my nerves are through the sky I am excited to get my implants its been a 5yr+ wait for me. I cannot recommend Dr.Blank and his staff enough especially if you have dental anxiety like i do. Update #1. I go back in a couple weeks for my permanent teeth and im so excited. This whole process has been amazing. Everybody is so wonderful and caring. I can't say enough just how happy I am with Blank dental group. They really are that great in my eyes!! Update #2. It's December 9th and I just got my permanent teeth. I just cannot say enough about how great Dr. Blank and his staff are!!! After seeing and going through this process absolutely nothing is overlooked and everything is perfectly planned and laid out step by step for you as you heal over the months. I can't thank him and his staff enough for how awesome they are. They are all so friendly, welcoming, understanding and just flat out wonderful at their jobs!!! Thank you so much this has changed my life and I can smile again!!! And my implants look 100% natural, they are perfectly sized so my mouth closes naturally and colored so they dont look so white its unnatural. Everything about this process has exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Dr. Blank and his staff!!!!!

Negative experience: August 2024 - I had a crown done here that ended up being a nightmare. After an extensive appointment getting it corrected a crown put on, they then did a cleaning which caused it to completely come out, undoing all the work that had just been done. I had to have several follow up appointments to get it corrected and never did fully correct the sensitivity. They said I wouldn’t be charged for correcting their error and I was ultimately referred for a root canal at another dental office which that part was great. Fast-forward to November 2025, got a random bill for over $1300 in which they tell me my insurance from 2024 denied all claims because of termination and coverage, however, I had had the same insurance the entire year of 2024 so now due to some clerical error on their end, they just decided to dump a $1300 bill on me rather than letting me know before the 12 months was up and being able to resubmit claims. The lack of attention to detail, care or compassion for the patient has become obvious and I would not recommend it. Rather than contacting me and letting me know that they denied the claim back in 2024 for termination of coverage (which is not accurate because I had coverage), they waited until 2025 to hit me with the entire balance and just expect me to pay it like nothing ever happened even though I had insurance that would’ve covered the majority of it.

Fantastic experience: I am so excited and impressed with the outcome. It was not an easy process by any means, but they do their best to make you comfortable. Amy was remarkably talented and knew just how to keep me calm. Ashley at the front desk was an amazing and efficient contact. Dr Blank knows how to make your wishes real. I really cannot believe my new smile. I highly recommend this group.

Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience bringing our 3-year-old in for her very first dental cleaning! The team was incredibly patient, gentle, and so good at making her feel comfortable. They explained everything in a way she could understand and even made it fun for her. What could have been a stressful experience turned into something positive and exciting—she left smiling and proud of herself. I’m so grateful for the extra care and kindness, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for little ones!

Negative experience: Nice office but the service is not as nice. I noticed a few things I didn’t appreciate such as offering services at additional cost every visit. I once agreed to a fluoride application that was not worth it because after application, the staff decided to do X-Rays that removed a considerable amount of the flouride. The X-Ray person had no intention to reapply the lost fluoride until I actually asked for it. The cost of the fluoride was $100 but of course, that part was never mentioned until it was time to check out and pay. But what made me seek a different practice was Dr. Blank. After finishing a routine check, Dr. Blank proceeded to speak to me while my chair was still completely reclined, lower than his chair, and my back was lower than the rest of my body. It was so weird and uncomfortable my neck hurt from looking to the side to face him. But he seemed completely disconnected, so I’m not sure he noticed or even cared. It was so awkward and uncomfortable I just couldn’t wait to pay and leave. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a doctor’s office.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Blank and all of his staff (especially Tanner and Lori) have treated me like family and helped me through my full mouth implants. I’m almost done with the process and I can’t be more happier with my whole experience. The surgery was done in one day and I was able to leave with a mouth full of teeth and they were beautiful and I felt confident to smile the next few days after. From not being able to eat without being in pain and embarrassed to smile. My confidence is at and my mouth is healthy and I can’t stop smiling. It was worth every penny to have confidence and my mouth being healthy and no more pain. Thank you Dr Blank and staff for being so good to me and treating me with so much kindness.

Positive experience: The most bizarre experience, in regards to a dental hygienist! She never introduced herself (I still don’t know her name)! No usual small talk to make you feel comfortable! I was literally choking while she scraped my teeth; she never asked if I was okay! Just the weirdest experience! I am 68, and consistently the hygienist is the nicest, most gentle, and personable person; I don’t know her name, but that’s okay, because I will not go back!

Fantastic experience: Broke a temp crown on Monday and they had me in on Thur morning. Repaired the broken crown crown and had me out in 20 minutes. Great job

Negative experience: High quality, fast, and accommodating service. That's the standard at PDC! Plus, they are very communicative regarding your appointment to ensure you don't miss it or can easily reschedule if needed. Update July 2025 - changing from 5 to 1 star. I won’t go back to Blank Dental. It has gone downhill so fast from Powell Dental when Dr Bill owned this dental office. I’m confident they worked on the wrong teeth during my last and final visit. The doctor was 30 minutes late and I was told “we didn’t know you were here.” Even though I checked in at 750 for an 8AM and was seated across from the receptionist. I wish I would have walked out instead of getting the dental care I received.

Fantastic experience: I, admittedly, have been poor with my preventive dental care, but needed an appointment b/c after a crazy acccident…I broke one of my front teeth. I was extremely anxious for the appointment, but it turns out, I had nothing to worry about. My hygienist (technician) was Amy and she couldn’t have been better. She was very calm and reassuring with a rather (anxious) patient. We had a great, comfortable conversation leading in to the procedure. Then, Dr Krause came in and he was SO friendly! I felt like I had known him my entire life! The whole experience was amazing and I exited with an incredible outcome! The fractured tooth that was fixed looks and feels like the break never happened! I would recommend this company to anyone!!!❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I had a crown and a filling done and my out of pocket was significantly different than my previous dentist who no longer accepted my dental insurance. Which is one of the reasons I switched to Blank Dental. Scheduling was easy and they were accommodating when I had to reschedule due to a work issue. Staff were friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Blank explained what he needed to do and allowed me to ask questions if I had any.

Negative experience: Went for my appointment and told them I was pregnant and if numbing would affect anything and the lady told me later on “is this something to congratulate you on?” very strange of a dental office to ask me that about my baby i found it unprofessional and made me uncomfortable!

Positive experience: I went in. Didn’t have to wait at all but never did in the past. Had X-rays and then my teeth cleaned by dental hygienist. Dentist came and checked the X-rays then my teeth. Said everything looked great and are still watching one spot. Then I left. No problems. But I did not know anyone that was there. I used to know everyone. Kind of sad. Granted, I only go every 6 months but still knew no one. I have been with them for years and years. Maybe 25? But still sad that I knew no one.

Fantastic experience: This is easily the best dental service I have ever experienced. I had a crown fall out a day before I was going on an out of state vacation. I went to the office when it opened on a Friday, explained the situation, and they were able to get me fixed up within an hour. The receptionists are bright, cheery, and efficient. The dental assistants are friendly and really know their stuff. And, the dentist, Dr. Blank is probably the best dentist I have ever been treated by. I have been using this group for years, will probably never switch, and would recommend them to anyone else.

Negative experience: I have been going to this dentist for YEARS, longer than any of the staff has been working there. It has changed ownership a few times so I decided to give it a try since that has never been an issue in the past. I got to my appointment and checked in no problem. Then they asked me if I had been checked in while I was waiting to be called back. The hygienist was cold and didn't seem to care I was uncomfortable. I will admit I was well overdue and expected a deep cleaning wouldn't be pleasant. Several times the hygienist asked me if I was overdue, but a quick look at my file would have answered that too. Several times during the cleaning, saliva and blood was allowed to pool so much it dribbled out of my mouth and into my hair. At the end I explained four times between the hygienist and front desk that I would call back to schedule and they just didn't listen to me and kept trying to schedule me. The TV wasn't turned on during the cleaning either, which was an amenity I used to look forward to with previous ownership. I wasn't explained where my cavities were. It was obvious I wasn't worth listening to. I won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: I am the last stages of getting a dental implant. What I thought would be a scary process, has actually been quite comfortable and not stressful. The staff makes me feel at peace at every appointment.

Fantastic experience: Michelle is great. She relieved a lot of anxiety from previous bad dental experiences by listening and then talking about how things were going to go. My visit was as described and a little expensive. But cheap dentistry is not good dentistry. This is best dentist I've had. And I've mostly had bad ones. Only 1 other good one and Dr Blank and his staff raised that bar to the sky. Slow and easy. That's how you deal with anxiety. Fast looking at the clock keeping time. Those kind of actions cause great anxiety in me and I get the fight or flight response. Not here. Very relaxed. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I’ve been with this practice / location for over 20 years. When the practice sold, the atmosphere changed. All the old staff that knew me and my family have left, and it seems like I’m a new patient every time I go in there. So much turn over. My last visit just felt rushed and like we were in an assembly line. Had a filling done and the assistant kept leaving rough edges from the filler. Had to have her fix it twice. The filling wasn’t checked by the dentist on staff. I started feeling this way after my visit 6 months ago and my last visit confirmed my feelings. If I’m treated like a new patient every time, might as well find a new dentist.

Negative experience: The group was purchased by what appears to some mega-dental group. The entire staff has changed, the quality of services has declined. Different people everytime we went, our favorite dentist left. The dental assistants aren't as friendly. And they don't seem as compassionate. If you are a nervous about the dentist, this is not the place for you.

Positive experience: My whole family goes to this practice. The office is very clean and well designed. The staff are very friendly, and the hygienists, especially Nick, are top-notch. We did have an issue with scheduling today. We finished two kids' appointments at 7:20am, but Dr. Blank was not in yet. We waited around until 7:45 and ended up leaving to get to sports practice. It is very frustrating to schedule early appointments and to then have to wait around (with 4 kids) for the doctor.

I was somewhat nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out and Dr. Blank was very patient and took the time to answer each of my questions thoroughly which put me at ease going into my procedure. Negative experience: The staff are some of the nicest people Ive ever met however I still left in tears…I had broken a tooth and come in because the pain was unbearable. I left with no treatment because I didn’t have the $300 my insurance didn’t cover so I was left in pain and sent home. I literally was in tears as I left and no one did anything except send me home with antibiotics…for that I appreciate them.

The Powell office is state of the art. Everyone is friendly and it is a very pleasant atmosphere. I am very happy that Dr Blank is our dentist.

Fantastic experience: I moved here from out of state about a year ago, and was looking for a dentist I could trust and that I could get into quickly as I was just about overdue for a cleaning once I had moved here. This place had great ratings, and so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did! Great people, responsive, very nice space as well. Funny enough Dr. Lahm practiced last where I had just moved from! Small world. Anyways - I do highly recommend this practice! They are all so great and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful that I have changed to Powell Dental Care. My visits have always been on time and thorough. The front desk is always kind, efficient and helpful. I was in for a regular cleaning, found a filling that needed some work and Dr. Waddell and his staff were able to take the extra time at that moment rather than asking me to make another appointment. Very much appreciate the care I receive!
