Negative experience: Called about becoming a new patient to get a large goiter checked. The receptionist was extremely rude and when I asked about becoming a new patient said "we don't have anything until November" and promptly hung up with no call back i would have been a patient in November and payed but now I will never use this "mission driven" clinic again. So sorry to bother y'all with my medical problems.

Fantastic experience: A really good of group of professionals that go beyond when caring for their patients. Dr Rob Samantha and their team are outstanding in what they do. From the time you walk in the door, everything is as it should be professional, efficient, in hospitable. ❤️✌️

Negative experience: Eugena Herrera refused to refill medication post hospital. I called for four days and showed up and she also cancelled my doctors appointment sending me to the hospital. She also refused to test me again for H pylori which is necessary after taking medication. Gastro doctor found extreme gastritis later on because she didn’t test and I still had it. DANGEROUS CLINIC.

Fantastic experience: I have horrible dental fear and anxiety, this is the first clinic to ever understand that and show me more compassion than others. They numbed me to get x-rays due to a gag reflex! this helped me so much. They were so kind to me after years of guilt and shame, they helped set me on the right path to get my smile and confidence fixed. I am forever thankful for the compassion shown to me here, and i will continue to choose this clinic from here on out!

Fantastic experience: I should start this off saying, I am terrified of dentist. I recently had to have dental work done. This is the only practice I have been to since being in NC. The front staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming. Tisha, the hygienist- Amazing! and Dr . Cruz 20/10. If I could give the two of them 20 stars, I would. Dr. Cruz was nothing short of amazing and does his work with such grace. If I left NC today… I would fly back to have this team for my dental work! Yall better book your appointment today with Bernstein Dental!!!

Negative experience: The worst!!!! My fiance had an appointment for may the 13 and they just called and canceled when I called they RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE AND WHEN I TOLD HER MY FIANCE WAS HERE TO TALK SHE JUST HUNG UP! What kind of service is this she need to be fired!

Fantastic experience: Being that i have very high anxiety when it comes to doctors visits, but I can honestly say with this great experience I have witness for myself was above and beyond this world, I was very much please with each and everyone's smiles ,greeting ,welcoming ,great hospitality , kindness, attentive, patience & understanding, they took the time to listen to my concerns both present and past, we laughed and all it was amazing yes i would recommend this place any day a wonderful experience....this was my first visit and the doctors made me feel more confident and comfortable than ever being a new patient.. high five you guys , you were outstanding absolutely amazing cant wait to see what the future holds , looking forward to returning soon!! Oh, And it didnt take long to get an appointment i called at 3pm as instructed and was seen the next day for a toothache tgbtg ........ Sopia

Negative experience: Update!! I called the number below and spoke to them about the situation. That's as far as it went. Absolutely horrible pt care!! I'm fed up with this establishment. The only reason I'm still a patient is because Medicaid only offers so many places to go to. Referrals are almost nearly impossible to get. You call them, you're placed on hold, and they change you from position 2 in the queue to 4th and it keeps going back and forth. By the time you reach someone, it's almost a 20-minute wait, that's if you're not hung up on. My daughter had an appointment with Sherelle Holley at 3 pm and by 3:50 she still wasn't in to see my daughter, so we left. We rescheduled for a TelHealth appointment a week later, same time, and by 4:18 pm still no appointment. I called them to let them know, and what do you know, queue changed several times, then went to voicemail when i didn't want to leave a VM. Absolutely horrible and not good practice at all.

Fantastic experience: Takes long time to make an appointment to see the doctor (we waited about 3months to see the doctor) however the overall experience was good. Friendly staff and doctor. They explained every step. Definitely recommend this practice!

Negative experience: My son had an appointment at Bernstein Dental on 12/8/25 at 9:45 AM. The night before, Pitt County Schools issued a three-hour early release due to incoming weather. Because of this schedule change, my son’s exams—he is a senior and a special education student—were moved from the afternoon to the morning. Missing them was not an option. My son has been a patient at Bernstein Dental for many years, and he does not have a history of rescheduling or missing appointments. With that in mind, I called the office at 8:00 AM to explain the situation and request a reschedule. Unfortunately, the response I received was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. The receptionist laughed and told me the next available appointment wouldn’t be until May. When I calmly acknowledged this and explained again that the circumstances were beyond our control, she laughed a second time and said, “Better yet—April,” in a tone that felt mocking rather than helpful. While we accepted the new appointment without complaint, the interaction left me feeling that my son’s long-term dedication as a patient—and the legitimate urgency of the situation—were not respected. Kindness, grace, and basic compassion seemed completely absent in that moment. It was a disappointing experience that made me question the values of the practice, as I did not feel we were treated with the courtesy and understanding we have always given in return.

Fantastic experience: This place is affordable and you can get everything you need here except emergency care. Wonderful staff. Alex is an amazing therapist. Anyone can afford this.

Negative experience: I don’t typically write reviews, but the customer service at the dental office has been so frustrating that I felt compelled to share my experience. Today I called numerous times during business hours and wasn’t able to speak to anyone because the receptionist kept hanging up on me. I’ve never spoken to anyone in a rude nor disrespectful way, yet this kind of treatment continues to happen. This isn’t the first time this has intentionally happened and it’s not just an issue I’ve experienced; my grandmother has had the same problem. I’m speaking up now because it’s becoming unacceptable and I’m hoping this will prompt some changed behavior, even if it’s just a small improvement (anything would be before than the current lack of human decency I receive now.)

Fantastic experience: I have always been greeted with a friendly smile and everyone there is always courteous and nice. I love going there, and am happy with the services I have received.Dr. Mundy is the best Dentist around anywhere, and has done a great job on my teeth. The staff is professional and upbeat.I’m grateful for all the services they offer there.

Positive experience: We haven't actually visited the office yet, but my husband has been in a LOT of pain with some dental issues and they're the VERY first place that said they accept his insurance (when I called, the person that answered was unsure if they took it, so they went to check) in my opinion, this speaks volumes already. I will update when he goes for his visit with dental.

Negative experience: Awful costumer service. Received my husband’s exams one month later, and after his appointment was rescheduled twice. Mind you, they didn’t inform us, he just got there and they told him “oh, no, we scheduled you wrong. Come back in a month”. After constantly asking for his exam a and receiving a blunt “there’s a delay” over the phone, we had an issue with the prescription, and despite all of the issues mentioned above, the lady over the phone had the audacity to be mad with us over issue with the prescription! Displaying a despot attitude. AWFUL EXPERIENCE and customer service, will not come back and wouldn’t recommend for anything.

Fantastic experience: I see therapist Alex Martinez. I will say that my journey with seeking professional help has not been linear. Alex creates a safe non judgmental space during each session. I know I have a long way to go, but I am proud of my progress so far and I’m grateful for the support & tools that I have received to help change my life. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: well i guess i will start by saying that i was hesitant to go to any dentistry .because i had a very bad experience with dentists about ten years ago .but I Relly needed to have a tooth pulled so i did my homework and read a lot of reviews on a lot of different dentists hear in Greenville and around the surrounding aera the one i picked was Bernstein because of the reviews. so i made am n appointment .so i showed up for my appointment i was nervous as all get out. so, they lead me to the back I'm thinking about what happen ten years ago. so, i sat down and everyone was very polite and extremely calm. that helped me and my nerves. And when DR Cruz came in, he Talked to me with a calming voice and told me how and what he was going to do .i said that sounds good.so anyway he is the best he not just pulled one i also had five more pulled that same day he is gentle and a pro what he's doing, He has restored my belief in a dentist. I hope and pray that he will be my dentist from now out .i want to thank DR CRUZ for being the best dentist i will ever have. And thanks to his team for all they have done and will do from now and as long as I'm around Greenville NC. Fantastic experience: New staff very positive. Need to give permanent contract to Michele Casey, FNP and her assistant Mrs. Tracey. They where very concerned of my concerns, looked in my history, discussed medical condition throughly, gave options, suggested best way to do things. Greatly I appreciated the listening, comfortable meet, professional but warm friendly attitude. I didn't feel as a stat(number), nor as if my insurance covering all that mattered. Still need to employee more Primary Care Physicians(PCP). Have definitely improved with clinic cleansiness.

Negative experience: God help if you've got a medical emergency or an issue that requires someone with some real professionalism. The staff acts like they don't have sense to come in out the rain. They all need a lesson in manners and how to treat the public. And if their gonna be in the medical profession then they need to be a bit more understanding, patience and knowledge of their job

The doctors and the dentist will treat like a regular person, not to mention they will make you laugh and feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: Haven’t been to the dentist in a long time due to a previous bad experience. A friend recommended Dr. Marty and it was the best experience ever. I was extremely pleased with his service and he did a great job. He showed that he cared about his patient and I don’t plan on seeing another dentist except him due to the trauma I had with the previous dentist.

Negative experience: I’m leaving this review on behalf of my mother In regards to her terrible encounter with The Medical side of Bernstein. My mother called to make an appointment to be seen but was told to call snow hill medical instead. My mother calls snow hill medical she states snow hill medical was very helpful making her an appointment and advise her she can be seen as a walk-in at either Bernstein or snow hill but to arrive at opening time. My mother chooses Greenville location due to living in Greenville, she arrives at Bernstein medical to be seen (Front desk was very nice and helpful) but once she was taken to the room the Nurse was rude and very unprofessional. You’re supposed to be a community health center, You’re supposed to help not make faces, be rude or mean to your patients. Regardless of any situation you’re supposed to help and guide your patients to the right direction and that should not include rudeness. You’re in a career path where your goal should be the patient and his/her health/wellbeing. My 15 year old sister was with her and she witnessed it and mentioned to me she wanted to talk back to the nurse but didn’t due to Respecting her elders. Do better for your community.
