Dr. Halstead is so knowledgeable and makes the whole experience comfortable ( I’m usually scared of dental work). I had to bring my baby for my appointment and everyone was so helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Once I had a bad experience with a different dentist. The manager did a great job resolving this bad experience. I don’t think this bad dentist works there anymore. I feel lucky to have found this amazing clinic near my home. She is incredibly gentle, explains everything she’s doing throughout the appointment, and actually takes the time to communicate with her patients in a way that makes you feel comfortable and cared for. She’s also very personable, which makes every visit a positive experience. Having worked in dentistry for over 20 years, I can definitely be a little picky when it comes to dental care but I honestly have zero complaints. Dr. Raslan and her team are wonderful, and I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Dr Rawslin restored my faith in dentistry. Like so many others, I'm very sensitive to pain. Dr Rawslin is a very good listener. I was able to tolerate her pulling a front tooth with very little discomfort!! It was a very pleasant experience!

Negative experience: Had a cleaning at 9:30, got called back at 9:45, Hygienist came in at 10:00. I said running behind? She said “Am I”. I received several reminders of my appointment time, maybe they should send them to their staff also.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Coweta Dentistry on Ruth Drive for years since I was on my parents’ insurance and even came back after having to go elsewhere. That alone should say something. I originally got a second opinion on a root canal at Great Expressions Dental Centers, but ultimately chose to return here for treatment. That was definitely the right decision. The crown Dr. Raslan did looks completely natural and blends in perfectly with my other teeth. Dr. Raslan is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and attentive. She understands how important it is to make patients feel at ease, which makes a big difference because going to the dentist is not exactly something most people look forward to. Her assistant Taylor and the front desk staff are always welcoming and helpful, and they consistently make the experience smooth and pleasant. At this point I am almost disappointed all my cavities are filled because I got so used to seeing them! Guess I will just have to stick to cleanings now. I also want to mention Angie, my hygienist. She was very sweet and genuinely friendly. She did a great job with my cleaning and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Also worth mentioning, my mom sees Dr. Patel here and has had a great experience as well. She appreciated how Dr. Patel explained everything clearly before starting and did an excellent job with her crown. I would absolutely recommend this office if you are looking for skilled and caring dental professionals.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could. They WILL NOT make accommodations for dental anxiety and denied nitrous because “that’s not how they do it.” I had one dentist call me too big to work on, twice, while in the chair.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Coweta dentistry for probably over 10 years. The last few years I have seen Dr. Raslan. She is absolutely phenomenal! When I first started seeing her, I had a lot of dental work that was needed. Out of all of the dentists that I have seen in my life, they always made me feel really bad about the state my teeth were in. Dr. Raslan was the very first person who did not treat me like that. She was very honest with everything that needed to be done, and she was very compassionate because she could see how much this affected me. It didn’t only affect my personal appearance, it also affected my self-confidence. Dr. Raslan has given me my confidence back and for that I couldn’t be more thankful! I absolutely adore Dr. Raslan and the way she treats her patients. My daughter has recently started seeing her as well and she loves her so much! To the point she said that no other dentist there is allowed to touch her teeth. That just goes to show a tiny bit of Dr Raslan’s compassion and dedication to her job and her patients.

Negative experience: This would be rare, but my intention is to bring attention to the front desk protocols. I had a 2 pm appointment and arrived at 1:30. I checked in with the gentleman at the front desk. 45 minutes later I asked the front desk if they forgot about me...indeed, they didn't have a clue that I was waiting. Customer service is the forefront of any business. When a patient has an appointment and it appears you don't see them, you should stand up and see if they're there. In addition to that, I was told that I needed to get another x.Ray, before the doctors could see me. This is, after i've had a 3D x ray with the orthodontist specialist and x rays with the dentist. I was told that I needed a 4D xray to be able to see the sinuses, etc and that insurance would not cover because I'd already had the 3D xray with the orthodontist. At the end of the day, Dr Grimes indicated that his view couldn't see the separation of the two crowns, so why did I need to have a 4D xray. The assistant had a soft voice and I indicated it was hard to hear her because she was behind me. She was at a desk and I was facing the front; so I turned around to answer her questions. I am not complaining, I simply want someone to listen and change their protocols so that the patient is the priority.

Fantastic experience: Dr Halstead is great. I had two fairly large fillings that I was pretty nervous about. The shots were nearly painless, as was the entire procedure. I feel almost 100% now and it’s not even been 24hrs.

I drove over an hour for an appointment called twice and left a voicemail twice as well. But because I was 2 minutes late for a scan I couldn’t be serviced. She said this to me with her back to me and couldn’t even look me in the face. Very unprofessional, been coming for years unfortunately for them I won’t be back.

Every single person was kind and just wonderful. My teeth cleaning was the most painless pleasant experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Halstead is just amazing. I will no longer fear going to the dentist because of this wonderful group.

Negative experience: I rarely give bad reviews but this is going to be one of those exceptions. Not all of the dentist are bad so this rating goes to one in particular. I had heard he practiced dentistry in “the field” which is partly the reason for this bad review. No one wants to hear we can try this, but I’m not sure it will work!? Also, having a tool stuck in your mouth having your dentist say he’s not sure how he’s gonna get it out?! Lastly, yesterday he was at least an hour late before I left, and they weren’t sure when he would be in? (BTW, if I’m 10 minutes late, they would charge a late fee and reschedule me.) I tried to reschedule, but he really didn’t have anything available due to him going on mission trip. I would not recommend getting an implant with this practice. Again, all the other dental work I have received (ie Dr. Halstead) has been excellent and would give it five stars

Fantastic experience: I came in on 3/25/2019 to have a deep cleaning done. This wasn't an easy task as I still have braces on and have no date in the near future for their removal. Nonetheless, from the moment I walked in, the staff member at the front desk was very welcoming. The doctor who came to numb me was very kind and comforting. The young lady who did my x-rays was also, and the hygienist was simply amazing. He was very friendly and caring. He took time to explain everything he was doing and checked in often to ask how I was doing. He was also very personable. So, I'd like to thank you all for such a pleasant and wonderful dental experience!!!

I can't say thank you enough for all this endurance and getting me the help I needed. They are a great staff and I highly recommend them..

Negative experience: Let me start by saying Dr. Halstead and his staff are absolutely AMAZING! I'm not an easy case and he always gives me all my options and takes his time to even explain things over and over to make sure I get it and I'm confrontable. Monday, I called the office with an emergency, I let rep know that it was definitely an emergency, but I only wanted to see him so if he was at a different location I would travel as long as I could see him 1st before making any other decisions. The main thing was regardless with whatever we decided together I would have to get an extraction. I made 2 appointments back-to-back 1 for Dr. Halstead and 1 for the oral surgent. Dr. Halstead and I talked for about 10 minutes going over my options to see what was best for my situation. All and all within 15 minutes of our consult my phone rang, and it was the oral Surgents' office downstairs. For a laugh Dr. Halstead answer letting them know we would be done shortly. They told him that they were running behind and need to start on my tooth asap. He told them "No worries we'll prep her up here, so when we are done, she can jump right in the chair and you all can get started". Let me take a moment to tell you all this day MONDAY FEBRUARY 4, 2025, the ac was down (the windows we up in each room for air flow) so it was very hot and stuffy in the office, when I came for my appointment, a staff member was taking another staff member to the doctor because she was too hot and started to feel faint. ALSO, the suction was out half of my appointment. When I was downstairs things kicked in high gear. "Ashley" (that's what they told me her name was) she never introduced herself, went over the preopp and also the medications that I would be sent home with. I asked her to call them in so they would be ready. She 1st gave me an excuse why they (downstairs) don't call in medication... something about time BUT told me we have a little time I'll be sure to call yours in. I said thanks and we proceeded. Numbing gel was next... Now here comes MR. JUSTIN GRIMES, he walks in who also never introduced himself, asked how I was said he was going to take care of the situation and states because part 1 was done his job would be easier. He goes right in my mouth with "the needle" and starts to poke around no warning no NOTHING. I screamed and put my hands up I asked why didn't I get a warning he said "well I told you I was about to numb you, what did you think I meant" Ashley hands him another "needle" and he went in my mouth again I lifted my hands yelling stop, wait, give me a moment, Ashley said put your hands down, then she pushes my hands down and he goes "I'm done", twirl the needle give it to Ashley. He said we are an hour behind we have to hurry and walks out. I instantly leaned up and started having a full-blown anxiety attack, I called my mom to come get me. BECAUSE YOU ALL AS AN OFFICE IS BEHIND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CARE YOU GIVE YOUR PATIENT! ALL AND ALL this was by far my worst experience at a dentist in my life. I am a 34-year-old black woman with 3 autoimmune diseases which are recorded in my chart, as well as depression and anxiety. Although I have been to this office several times I have never and WILL NEVER go back to this monster Dr. Grimes. He didn't listen, I was in pain, and he did not care! Not to mention while during the procedure this Ashley lady was talking about this other stuff member Amber who apparently, she doesn't like and gave the doctor and ultimatum which 1 he wants to work with in the future. Although he didn't choose this conversation lasted the whole time. Might I add very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Coweta Dentistry for over 5 years! Justin is my hygienist, and has a very good bedside manner, and always done a great job . My kids see him as well. I’ve had work done by Dr. Lambert, who always took great care of me. I’ve seen the other doctors there as well, and all of them have been super kind of helpful when I had a toothache!

Negative experience: I was very happy with the cleaning/care my child received with both Justin and Dr. Raslan however I was not impressed with the reception area. We usually check in and schedule all of our future appointments with Ms. Amanda or as my child refers to her as “Ms. Manda Panda”. Upon arrival we noticed she was not there and asked for her specifically as my child has ADHD and severe anxiety and Ms. Amanda always talks to/comforts him before his appointments which has been a God send! Upon asking for her I was told Ms. Amanda was out sick however I later learned she was let go due to the new management picking favorites and her own personal agenda. This is unacceptable and disgusting as Ms. Amanda has always been an outstanding employee of the office and this should be looked into. Management needs some serious accountability for their actions as this is not acceptable! Putting your own personal agenda before your employees and more importantly your patients is unacceptable and unethical! If anyone should be let go it is the new management and Ms. Amanda should be brought back stat!
