Negative experience: They NEVER answer their phone. It once took me over a week just to book an appointment. Via both emails, leaving voicemails. I tried calling in yesterday to cancel an appointment and reschedule, left my name and number..never received a call back. It's been this way with this office for years already. (Them not rescheduling yet sending me this stupid "Give Us Your Follow Up Feedback!" text is the only reason I'm filling this out. Go somewhere else, I'm planning on it.

Negative experience: Let me start with over charging back in 2020 I had to fight charges. I had a bridge with implants put on my bridge didn’t look that great I asked the doctor why was it bulky she replied that because I wanted it to be well covered! Anyway now my bridge it’s falling I called for them to check it and I was told that I have to pay for the consultation and I said but you guys didn’t do it right that’s why it’s falling The receptionist started to blame it on me!! A bridge should no be loose if it was done right So my advise don’t go to them Do a better research

The entire process was quick and smooth - I did my intake forms, an initial consult, x-rays, and scans. They quickly decided on a treatment plan and provided an estimate of my costs after insurance. The hygienist and dental assistants were amazing- very friendly and communicative. Finalizing the documents and payment with the office manager Samin was a breeze. She was kind, honest, and efficient. I look forward to completing my treatment here!

Negative experience: Worst dentist I have ever been too they can’t even call the number you have on file they lie about the insurance being accepted and what it covered. Then place the entire burden on the customer incompetence and attitude is dripping from this spot. If I wasn’t stuck in a contract with them I would never go back to them ever. It is horrible to have to provide them any money whatsoever. Please find a different dental office to go to. Listen to the bad reviews because they truly show the level of service and lack of care and downright criminal practices this dental office does. If they paid me too have service with them for a year I wouldn’t accept it due to the hassle of dealing with them

Discovered charging double for the treatment.Let you walk away even though you complained about the denture was still loose. Bad lab work !! Negative experience: Stay away from this place. You will lose all your teeth. They will find someway to charge you more money every time you visit. A $25 cleaning will turn into a $500 bill of unnecessary treatment. They charge $400 for a plastic mouth guard that you can buy online for less than $50. They will only refer you to a specialist where there can make money from referrals. The icing on the cake for me is when someone there told me the LANAP surgery and the Pinhole surgeries are the same. Never again!

Fantastic experience: I have been going Bright Now Dental for the past 12 years now and have never had a bad experience. The front staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and upfront with costs. The usually run quite on time and if not there is a very good reason (like there is an emergency situation etc.). The office manager is also really amazing - she's empathetic to patient's needs and always answers billing questions in a very straightforward manner which is super helpful for patients. The office itself is extremely clean so you feel like you are in good hands and in no danger of getting any infections etc. and the medical staff also take many many precautions to keep it a safe and healthy environment for their patients. And of course the dentists, hygienists and techs are top notch - knowledgeable and honest!! I would not go to any other dental office ever again!! Keep up the good work!!

My husband had an appointment today, Feb 17, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. We been standing out here in the rain and knocking on the door, we called about 6 to 7 times, and no one had come to the door. He did receive a text message, and he replied, confirming his appointment. It's really a shame and very unprofessional that they did not call us to cancel him he had to miss work today to be able to attend.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a filling. Dr Khatri is extremely sweet and lovely to talk to. She treated me with utmost respect and made sure I was comfortable. I felt at ease putting myself in her care. I've worked with so many dentists over the years and she stands apart with her friendliness. As someone with a lot of anxiety around medical procedures, it goes a long way to show kindness. I'm glad to have found her so I don't have to switch around constantly. Her assistant Halle is also very efficient and helpful.

Negative experience: I waited a few months after my crown treatment to share this review. I've been going to this dentist for a couple of years. Things were fine until the dentist had to fix my teeth. When I was just going in for checkups and cleanings, I didn't realize how inexperienced this dentist was. The nurse or technician who took my x-rays was incredibly rude and not good at her job. I've been to many dentists in my life and had crowns and fillings done by different doctors without any problems. However, this time was different. The dentist told me I needed a crown but not a root canal, which was good news. She numbed my gum with a shot, which hurt more than usual. She drilled my tooth and put a temporary tooth on top. When the numbness wore off, my gum was badly bruised, and chewing on the left side was painful. I expected it to heal quickly, but even after they prepared my permanent tooth, my gum was still bruised. I told them I couldn't chew on the left side. They said it would heal and gave me antibiotic mouthwash. After waiting three more weeks and seeing no improvement, I became worried. I called them, and the dentist finally suggested I might need a root canal. I couldn't believe how incompetent she was not to know that sooner. She referred me to a specialist, and I got the root canal I needed. Now I can chew, but my gum is still sensitive and hurts when I chew something hard. Somehow, she damaged my gum permanently. I take good care of my teeth, following all the recommendations they gave me, but my gum is permanently damaged. Also the technician who took my x-ray was the most incompetent and rude. She made the process very painful. When I switched to a different dentist, the x-ray was painless. Don't go to this dentist. I had no choice because of my insurance, but I'm so glad I switched. Seriously, don't go here. This dentist is the worst. Update: I also found out I have so many cavities from other dentist. He showed me the picture of xray and close up of my tooth and it was pretty bad. I could tell these cavities didn't build up recently. So meaning, Bright Now dental doctor who's been seeing me for years didn't even know I have cavities.

Negative experience: THE INDIAN GIRL NAMED DR RIKASOOD SHOULD BE FIRED. She is the rudest dentist and obviously does not care about your teeth. She lies about everything and she is the most dishonest dentist I know. More dishonest than her front desk which also is very unprofessional and don’t know what they are doing. They need to hire better people that are experts . I don’t know why they hired people that don’t have no experience. Anyways So basically my appointment is at 8:20 and I come there like 8:21 and then they start like 9:50. When she starts she says “okay so we will do one filling today” and I say “no I’m supposed to get 2 done today because the temporary filling only last for a couple of weeks. Then she says “I don’t know if we have time for both today” and I said “well they said they will do both today and I was sitting here in the room for already almost a hour “ then she doesn’t say anything and she puts the numbing cream in my mouth on the top and I move my mouth and say “my root canal was done in the bottom not top.” And she goes n tells me that I’m wrong and says “no the root canal was done in the top” and I say no it wasn’t . Then she checks and pauses and tells me that it’s because I needed filling st the top not the bottom. Then she tries and says that the root canal dentist already put in my permanent filling. Then I go and tell her that’s not true because they sent me here just for that and she goes and says “okay let me check” and she checks and she says that the root canal dentist said I needed to come for a filling for the top and that they never said anything about permanent filling for the root canal. I told them that’s wrong because that dentist was a specialist and she only preforms root canals. Then she tries to say that she was in the wrong and that they emailed her for a filling not root canal filling. At this point my top right tooth was already numbed with the numbing cream. She goes and says okay we will proceed with the root canal filling and puts numbing cream in my bottom right tooth. I go and tell her this if covered by my insurance right because bright dental office specifically told me on the phone 3 times and even in person that I wouldn’t have to pay anything. After this she stops and says “one second let me check” then comes back with a bill of $700 . I’ve already gotten a letter that this place is getting sued and I am planning to sue them as well .

Negative experience: This Dental office just wants to make money. They see every patient as a walking dollar sign. I had an appointment with them today and I expected my annual prophylaxis but they insistead me to get deep cleaning that costs $1044.00. They wont clean my teeth, not an option at all. When I told them I dont have money to pay for that they said I can get a loan. OMG!!! I called my insurance they said, it will not costs me anything to do my and my childrens annual prophylaxis. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED... Bad dentists.

Negative experience: Bad Service; bad attitude; not helpful; wasted my time; dishonest; waited 45 minutes to hear something they could have told me at upfront. I told them at the beginning I had my own dentist and I needed them as emergency. I do not need full exam because I do not need double diagnosis. They did nothing on me except X Ray and the reason does not need to be known by doing X Ray. They would know by simply reading my forms I filled out the night before. They had 45 minutes to read the form. I walked in at 8:45 am for a 9am appointment but I was not called until 9:30am. Just an excuse to charge X Ray fees. The dentist told me she is a doctor and I am not. She thinks that all patients in Hayward area must be low income and stupid. They would not know how to voice out if they are mistreated. I am a Doctor too. The form even said if someone missed the appointment, they have to pay penalties. In my memory, the fee is $25.How about you are late? You keep me waiting for 45 minutes. Will never go there again.

It was 10/30/23 and she wanted to make me an appointment for 11/20/23 for a simple denture repair stating it had to be sent to the lab. i found a dentist who sent it to the lab and got it back the same day. They didn't take my insurance but that was ok.

Negative experience: All the recommendations that I need were expensive beyond what my insurance covered. I just wanted a routine checkup and cleaning. Felt like I was at an auto shop. ( I only came in for an Oil Change). Lol

Negative experience: Inefficient and not very attentive. Would not suggest anyone goes here if they value their time and their dental health. I scheduled a routine check up and showed up early to fill out new patient paperwork. The waiting room had one other person there. I waited 30 minutes to be called back, and the receptionist said she had to call to verify my insurance. Then got my X-rays taken and was told the doctor would review my images and be with me in a few minutes. Then I waited in the chair for an HOUR. No one came to check in me or update me on the delay. The doctor finally came in and reviewed my images right there, and then told me she recommended a cleaning. That's what I was there for! What was the point of that? She said I had to schedule it and if they weren't busy, they might be able to squeeze me in today. All of the chairs I passed were empty, so how busy could they possibly be? She also said I needed a cavity filled. So I went to the desk, frustrated, and they said they had to call to find out if my insurance covered the treatment plan. Hadn't she already verified my insurance? Why wouldn't she have that information already? They presented me a printout of the cleaning breakdown to sign. No mention of the cavity. They did the cleaning at that point, but it was the fastest cleaning I have ever had. She kept telling me I needed to floss better, but barely pushed the floss between my teeth and didn't touch the gums. Then they wanted to schedule a 6 month follow up. What happened to that cavity they HAD to fill? And I wasn't given a toothbrush, floss, etc to take home. This was a waste of time and I don't even know what condition my teeth are actually in. They weren't cleaned well, and I definitely wouldn't trust them to address a real dental problem.

They cancel me at least 4 times and one time I drove there and I got there they cancelled me again , I need to file a claim against them for taking the day off from work and for my gas too, I travelled 20 miles to get there and I have to deal with a bunch of careless staff.

Negative experience: Terrible was there for 2 hours for a clean. When I came they didn’t know why k was there when they made the appointment for me after my last one. Every time I come they confused about why I’m there. Communication sucks. My appointment was originally for 4/19. Good thing I called to change the time, but was told the Dr wasn’t going to be there. If I didn’t call I would’ve taken off work for no reason. I was the second person there and 3-4 people arrived after me and was called before me. My appointment was at 120 I didn’t get called in until 2pm. I was still there by 330. And if I didn’t leave I would’ve still been sitting there for God knows how long. When I did decide to leave I saw the Dr helping someone else who came after me. I was so confused. I changed my dentist to be closer to home, but they are slower at the closer location. Tell me how you would feel thinking to be at the dentist for 30 mins during your lunch time and sitting there for 2.5 hours hungry and sleepy? You’ll be irritated too. After being cleaned had the Dr had the nerve to say she’ll be right back. After asking how much longer because being her 2.5 already is enough. She said a few minutes which was more than 15

Positive experience: The doctor was very kind and patient with me but made me feel uncomfortable with how she spoke to her staff. I wish she showed the same patience with them.

Fantastic experience: As much as I hate going to the dentist for traumatic reasons as a kid, I had a pleasant experience. office staff are professional and kind. Dr. Sood is very knowledgeable and checked on me frequently during the cleaning and cavity filling. The supportive staff and dental assistants are attentive and also checked on me frequently. Any questions I had, someone was able to answer them. I plan on coming back for future dental services.

Fantastic experience: My experience with BRIGHT NOW! was awesome . The wait isn’t extremely long, the office is clean, and the assistants were very nice and helpful. The Dentist is great; and Im glad I chose this office. They are extremely helpful with information on how to pay your balance and they have programs to help you.

Positive experience: This clinic is a clean nice modern dentists place. It seems like they are knowledgeable on their services. I have no question about the service. But regrettably they have problems to figure out to my dental insurance coverage .it popped up some extra costs out of my pocket several times. Otherwise I'll give them 5 star.

I am taking my whole family there .

Positive experience: Bright Now Dental & Orthodontics is nice, clean. So far my appointments are always on time, no waiting. My recent office visit was not really makes me satisfied. My hygienist is nice, but I don’t feel her work was great. After cleaning you should feel a lot of difference, if you touch your tongue around your teeth you should feel the difference that it’s clean. The coffee stains are still there, how much more to the inner parts that so hard to reach when brushing. That is why we have to go to our dentist. She needs to improve her work take a little more time to scrape stains. I still recommend this office to family and friends.

Negative experience: Really bad experience, My appointment was at 11am and was waiting for another patient to check in . When got me ready they told me They are unable to check in me because it past my appointment time! Do not recommended

Fantastic experience: First time being here at bright now dental. They did an excellent job in my first visit. I been to other dentist before in the past and this place is so far the best I been too. All the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Carolina help me out with the X-rays for my teeth and she's so sweet. I recommend this dentist for any work you need.

Negative experience: This dental office isn't transparent and honest about the price. I ended up with paying $400 more than my dental insurance claim showed. Communicated 3 times and I still couldn't get my refund.

Negative experience: I had an implant and crown done in 2000. The billing department did not submit the required supporting documents and detail in a timely manner so my insurance denied the claim. Bright Now billed me 2 years later for $1800. I was shocked and disappointed. I'm still trying to get the issue resolved. To make matters worse I still experience pain in the area that I received the implant and crown.
