Fantastic experience: I called everywhere could not get an appointment or even seen. I called gentling dental care and they Got me in the same day and did immediate work, very very very kind, comforting and talks you through everything , price is good and affordable and definitely will continue to go there! Dr. Phill was so kind and explanatory . I don’t think I have ever felt this comfortable in a dental office and getting work done . Thank you so much

I have very fancy patterns on my teeth and he worked with the crown lab to make a crown that would look like the rest. He could have told me to replace all front ones for consistency but he took the time (and lost money) to get me one really good one. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Was 6 months cleaning and as always was excellent. I don't always have the same hygienist but they are always very good. I really appreciate the "chair side" manner of Doctor Ryan. I think I've been a patient there for over 25 years. Dental care is expensive and I am still at Gentling because I trust their care and advice. They even called and offered advice on how to appeal a claim when my insurance rejected it. That was well beyond what I expected and I will never forget it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Gentling Dental for over 25 years and they are exceptional. All of the dentists, hygienists and office staff are friendly and great at their jobs. I’m super happy with the way I’ve been treated and the care they have taken with my health.

Negative experience: I was seen this summer for tooth pain. I was able to be seen right away. The desk staff were friendly and helpful and the dentist and assistant seemed knowledgeable and friendly. I ended up needing a crown. The day of the procedure they couldn’t get me 100% numb and were rather aggressive trying to give more medicine for pain. I was in quite a bit of pain for a week and the bite wasn’t contacting on the crown side. I called and they made an appointment. When I arrived for that appointment I was notified my permanent crown was in a week early and they wanted to put it on. I expressed my feelings about the pain and the bite. But they really didn’t take me serious it seemed. I still have awkward jaw discomfort I never had before and the bite is awkward.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to Gentling Dental for years & they continue to do a great job! I was just told that the 10% payment to reduce costs when paid the day of treatment will be going away on my next visit. A 10% increase in cost is a concern since you do don’t accept insurance plans which I dropped for that reason. Will you be offering any incentives to encourage your customers to continue??

Fantastic experience: Staff was very welcoming when I arrived, as always!! My hygienist, Randi greeted me kindly almost right away and she did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Melissa came in and did a gentle exam and came up with future dental work we have been planning on. It was a very enjoyable experience!!

Fantastic experience: Great team at Gentling Dental. I was In Rochester, MN with a family member at Mayo. Lost a crown. Called in the morning and had an appointment at 2 p.m. Dr. Erich took great care of me and was able to reattach my crown! It was a great experience.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by his friendly and professional front desk staff. His hygienist and assistant kept the good vibes going, making me feel comfortable every step of the way. Dr. Ryan took the time to explain everything to me during my complete check-up, and not once did I feel pressured into unnecessary treatments (unlike my previous dentist, who seemed to think my teeth were a fixer-upper!). He was thorough, honest, and made the whole experience almost enjoyable—which is saying a lot for a dental visit! If you want a dentist who’s skilled, straightforward, and backed by a great team, Dr. Ryan is your guy. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: The hygienists are all really great, professional and friendly (read: I want to talk with this person but their fingers are in my mouth). The dental staff have a really broad covering in the practice - I've consulted them on Invisiline and sleep/respiratory issues.

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency tooth extraction and Dr Phil and Sue took absolutely phenomenal care of me! They walked me through the entire process by explaining how and why they do each step as well as doing everything possible to make sure my anxiety was under control. I do not have insurance and they are reasonably priced for out of pocket dental work, but the care they took makes it seem like a bargain!

I have been incredibly frustrated trying get a series of ongoing complex dental issues addressed and have been around the block with different dental specialists in the past year, so it was great relief to my anxiety to have such a wonderful introduction as a new patient here. I was referred here by a couple of different people, one of whom was a former employee, another a well regarded dental specialist, and a finally someone who is a patient here. They thought this might be the place where I could find some help. The dentist I saw went above and beyond listening to my concerns and spent a good deal of time going over for my medical records to formulate a plan for my situation. The effort he put on to understand what my needs are and what he can offer was truly impressive. Great communication to ensure we where on the same page. I have a unique situation as a patient dealing with orofacial pain, I feel like have finally found a dental team who is willing to work with those challenging parameters.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Gentling for 11 years. I will not trust or go anywhere else. I always receive the best care there. I have huge dental anxiety, and both my dentist and hygienist are very good about it. It is out of network for my insurance, but I would rather pay some out of pocket, to get the service and care I get at Gentling.
