Positive experience: It was a good, but for a Saturday appointment it took to long. Much better than the last time. You guys do a good job and my son is satisfied.

Negative experience: Today my 21 year old Autistic son had an appointment there we waited for an hour and a half and he wasn't done yet. They were just checking gums due to bad breath and a previous cleaning that mentioned his gum health. When I went to check how much longer it would be because my phone was dying and I needed to charge it they told me 5 more minutes. I went to my car. Within 5 minutes he called me and said that they wanted to talk to me when I went inside they said they were prescribing him a mouthwash for bacteria in his mouth. As we were leaving he proceeded to go back inside and I said we were done when we were outside he said he thought he had to go back in there since they never looked at his mouth. I went back inside to ask them they told me that they did. I asked him again in the car and he said no one ever looked inside of his mouth. He explained that they were about to but then no one ever did he was told to come and get me. This is very unprofessional! This is not the first time I experienced them having long wait times and him not being seen within the time frame of one to two hours. How do you prescribe something without even doing your job? Wasted our time! Then lie about it when I ask. (The doctors ) My son is very aware of what's going on and shame on you for treating us like this repeatedly. We will not be returning. Front staff are nice and just doing their job.

Fantastic experience: Tanisha was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us in so many different ways. Her staff was also excellent and very welcoming. She made sure I got my braces tightened and took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. I truly appreciate her kindness and great service. Thank you so much, Tanisha!

Negative experience: Very Disappointing Experience I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. I brought my son in for his scheduled orthodontic appointment and arrived on time. He was supposed to have his top braces tightened and have his bottom braces put on. Instead, while we were already at the office, his orthodontic appointment was canceled without anyone notifying me. I sat there for approximately two hours, only to find out that the appointment we came for was not going to happen. They ended up doing a cleaning instead. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had to leave work to bring my son to this appointment. I made the effort to arrive on time, and my time should be respected. If his braces appointment was canceled or changed, I should have been notified before I left work and came to the office. I expect this office to take responsibility for this mistake and fix it immediately by getting my son’s orthodontic treatment back on track. This situation was completely unnecessary and could have been avoided with proper communication. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. I hope management takes this seriously and makes sure another parent does not have to experience the same thing.

Positive experience: The only reason I gave a 4 star is because of the professionalism at the front desk. This need to be addressed immediately. First impressions are everything.

Negative experience: They charge for for things they didn't do in addition they opened two accounts under my childs name for financing without my knowledge or consent. I would not recommend Franklin dental to anyone.

Negative experience: I am extremely angry and disappointed with the way my appointment was handled. My appointment was scheduled for today, and they waited until the SAME DAY to cancel it. I took an entire day off from work specifically for this appointment, and that day is unpaid. I am now losing money because they decided to cancel my appointment at the last minute. This is completely unacceptable. People’s time matters. People have jobs, responsibilities, and schedules that they have to rearrange in order to attend an appointment. Waiting until the same day to cancel shows absolutely no consideration for the patient or for the consequences that cancellation may cause. I did my part. I scheduled my appointment, planned around it, and took the necessary time off from work. Now I am the one losing a full day of pay because of a cancellation that had nothing to do with me. Simply offering to reschedule does not fix the fact that I already lost money today. I cannot get this workday back. This is extremely frustrating, disrespectful of my time, and completely unacceptable. A patient’s time and money should be treated with the same importance as the office’s time.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Franklin Dental today was wonderful. The dentist was kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made my child feel comfortable. The dental assistants were just as amazing—friendly, gentle, and very caring throughout the entire visit. They made what could have been a stressful appointment a positive experience.

Negative experience: This is the worst location I have ever been to had four appointments at 9:00 a.m. just now leaving out at 1:20 ridiculous. Customer service sucks no one knows what's going on upper management need to really look into this location because this is really sad. Still waiting 4 months later to get a appointment for my son surgery never received the call. With that being said I'm going to the other areas that actually care.

Negative experience: I scheduled two on my kids appointment for same day same time .how only one of my kids get in and out and my son had to wait for over 2 hours is crazy.let alone them just leaving him back there while they go on break is unprofessional.yalk really need to do better and understand people set appointments for a reason to be seen on time.

Fantastic experience: Customer service was amazing. The service was very good and quick as long as you set appointment and do paperwork online if needed. My children felt very comfortable and at ease.

Negative experience: My appointment was at 9 AM. Didn’t get finished at 12. This location moves extremely slow.

Negative experience: The manager Tameka L is very rude. I felt ignored by her and was treated badly, very poor customer service was giving. She didn’t acknowledge my frustration but instead she was nonchalant about the situation. She also wasn’t polite or professional. I also already contacted the number to make a complaint and now I’m currently waiting on someone to contact me back. It happened Monday morning and it is now Wednesday.

Positive experience: The doors are locked when you first arrive and remain locked until you leave.

Negative experience: Decatur location unprofessional staff, customer service sucks , wait times ridiculous every appointment waiting over an hour. Doctors are okay. You complain ABOUT THE WAIT and the staff gets mad! As if you inconvenience THEM

Fantastic experience: My first experience was great overall. Initially, I was a little annoyed because I had scheduled an 11:00 AM appointment. When I called to confirm, I asked how long the consult would take, and the young lady told me that if I came earlier I would likely be in and out faster. So I agreed to move my appointment to 8:00 AM. I arrived around 7:45 AM and noticed several people already waiting to get in. At 8:00 AM there was no sign of anyone inside, and I started to feel a little annoyed thinking we might be waiting for someone to open the office. However, at 8:04 AM the lights came on and someone came to open the door, which was great. After signing in, I only waited a few minutes before a dental assistant came to get me. She was very friendly, and we chatted while she completed my X-rays and started the consult. Shortly after, Dr. Banks came in. She was nice as well, and I felt completely comfortable during the visit. She examined my teeth, explained what would be needed for my treatment, and we were finished. The process was very efficient I was able to make it to work by 9:00 AM. I’m an adult getting braces for the second time, and I’m overly excited. I’m hoping the rest of my treatment goes just as smoothly as this first visit. On 7/1/2026 I had my 3 appt and just as before I didn't have a long wait time. My appt was scheduled for 9:30am and i arrived about 9:15 checked in and not even 10 minutes passed and i was called to the back. The young lady was sweet. I didn't catch her name but she had pink dreads. Very nice and she answered some questions i had, removed and applied my new hardware and sent me on my way. I havent encountered any issues and I hope it continues to be a smooth ride for the remainder of my treatment.

Fantastic experience: We read some bad reviews but the staff was amazing.The lady who did my daughter x-rays and intake she’s excellent and so so calm inspite of the many patients and kept my baby calm and the hygienist and doctor and front desk staff did a great job.Over all it was a great experience no more than an hour plus for absolutely the entire visit.We hope to keep getting this great service on our next visit.

Negative experience: not a good dentist they have booked me two appointments that they've had to call and cancel and the appointments that they give me after that are weeks later mind you I waited weeks for the appointment to come. Definitely will not be coming back

Negative experience: I had the worst experience ever in my whole life. The doctors have attitude and they’re not gentle with your teeth. One of them tells you to do one thing and the other tells you to do the other and you’re just lost in the middle. It’s not a good place.

She was friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. She was patient, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I must! say the entire staff is just absolutely amazing! from the moment we walked in & the front desk receptionist that checked us in made my daughter & I the one that was seeing the dentist made us feel belonged the fact that they had mistakenly scheduled her appt at another office but she went above & beyond we didn’t have to cancel nor leave great! customer service! after my daughter was seen the assisting nurse explained all what was done & what was recommended they booked her &!we was done I’ve never felt so welcomed I’m glad I chose this dental facility for my daughters dental needs I definitely left feeling inspired!!!

Negative experience: Horrible. they canceled my appointment time twice. Tried calling help center. After waiting two hours on the phone. NOTHING. No rescheduling. No contact from the office. Just text and Ai but no live agent to reschedule with. The Ai couldn’t find my number to set new appointment. But Could text me. Wth is the world coming to? Like there’s no way YOU HUMAN BEINGS. Are this lazy. Where you can’t pick up the phones. And speak to someone. Based off the offices pass pour communication. I’ll seek elsewhere. Because just imagine I was a patient there and god forbid. I had an oral infection. I wouldn’t be able to talk to anyone. Do better!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at Franklin Dental. When I arrived for my appointment, the office had a strong urine odor, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. I then spent nearly three hours waiting, only to be told that I would not be receiving the cleaning I had scheduled. I do not understand why it took three hours to communicate that my cleaning would not be performed. The excessive wait time, combined with the condition of the office, left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. The equipment and furnishings appeared outdated, and the overall atmosphere did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from a healthcare provider. Because of this experience, I decided to find a new dentist. Dental care requires a high level of trust, especially when it comes to cleanliness and patient care, and unfortunately this office did not meet those expectations. As a member of the Black community, it is especially discouraging to encounter what feels like substandard healthcare service in a community that already faces healthcare disparities. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future patients.

Negative experience: This is by far the worst children dentist ever. The customer service is terrible. They reschedule your appointments without reaching out to you. Please don’t waste your time or energy going to this place. The people in the front office don’t open at 8:00 am like they should. They see people stilling at the door and they stand and have conversations with each other while patients wait for them to open the doors. This place is very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Ms. Ardeita at my appointment. She made sure I felt comfortable with my nerves and made sure I was completely knowledgeable about my upcoming appointment. Also they moved fairly quickly during my time of my appointment.

Fantastic experience: My kids always have a wonderful and pleasant experience at the candler rd. Location Dr. co was very informative and made my kids feel at ease before the procedure and our techs Ms. Aisha and Sharice where funny professional and also made my daughter comfortable even gifted a ballon on our exit :) thank you guys

Negative experience: I had an appointment today at 2 PM and decided to cancel do the customer service at the front desks. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes to get confirmation that they received my x-rays so I don’t be over overcharged after seeing the reviews. I made the right decisions.

We have searched high and low for a pediatric dentist and orthodontist that were able to handle all childrens needs and this the office that has won our business....this staff is superior with children, quick, attentive and professional on every visit. Honestly, they earned these 5 stars.....love Franklin Dental!!

Negative experience: At the dentist for an hour and a half and still had not been seen. I was recognized by the front desk only after going up twice. It’s been now 2 hours and still waiting for the dentist. They haven’t even taken the X-rays. No empathy whatsoever for our time and having a 3 year old sitting for that long is crazy. As I am typing it’s been 2 hours and 15 minutes and still waiting. If you have no job, no life, and you can wait all day then this is the place for you.

Negative experience: Worst unprofessional dentist office in Atlanta the staff need to be retrained I would never recommend no one to visit please find another dentist in Georgia had an appointment today at 3:45 they rescheduled her appointment to 3:00 they didn't call her name until almost 3:30 as the original appointment very unprofessional organization

Fantastic experience: I previously left a negative review a few years ago but I had to change it. The office has gotten better! Natasha is always professional. Cagney was super professional and gave us a lot of information in the consultation room. She made my son feel very comfortable during his treatment. I'm happy that we changed offices and I didn't give up on this location! Good job!

Fantastic experience: My son’s appointment was at 1pm. Check-in was quick and easy. I loved the new paperwork update they have. Filling out everything digitally was so much easier. We only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for his name to be called. Special shout-out to Cagney. My son can be very energetic at times & have random bursts of energy. I love how she handled getting him to do the x-rays. With him being my firstborn, I have always been super protective over him & how people treat him. I have been a patient of Franklin Dental since forever & there’s not another location I trust more than this one.

Fantastic experience: I just had the best experience of my life with Dr. CO, Evie and Natalia. I had a hard couple of teeth to get pulled, they were deeply rooted and heavily impacted. Dr. CO didn’t give up on me, she got both the problem teeth out for me and Natalia held my held the entire time, I was screaming like a child mind you I am 40 years old! My problem teeth were so deep it took a lot to get them out, they made sure I was safe, breathing properly and at ease. I had been suffering from an impacted tooth for years, and never could eat on my right side. I went to another dentist years ago to get it out and instead they did a deep cleaning and took a different tooth out but left the problem tooth in and left me hanging and took my money! So I am grateful that my suffering is over now thanks to Dr. CO at Franklin Dental in Decatur. Truly the best and most amazing team I have ever dealt with. Thank you for doing my teeth extractions and providing the best care and attention I have ever have in any dental practice. You guys are the best!!!! And now tonight I can finally sleep thank you and Blessed you all so much!!! Dr. CO, Evie and Natalia you all are a God send! love yall so much for getting me through that oral surgery!!!!

Negative experience: On multiple list of services it says they offer clear aligners and Invisalign along with being so hard to get in contact with they say that no location offers that service only braces the service menu needs to be corrected because you’re wasting peoples time who don’t want braces but want Invisalign they could be looking elsewhere where they actually offer it if the service list was up-to-date.

Fantastic experience: Brought my son who has ASD LV 2 in for a cleaning and frenulum injury concern. Cagney provided the perfect instructions and care that fit his learning style. The dentist also took a look at his frenulum and ensured me everything would heal quickly.

Negative experience: If you have a nearby dentist in the area please consider going there before you comes to the location in Decatur they are very slow I had a 1 pm appointment and my child wasn’t seen until 2:45 the excuse I received was my paperwork wasn’t done after proving it was then it was we really busy however it was several others that came in after us and was already long gone

Negative experience: 1st visit The front desk was not friendly or helpful. The bathrooms were dirty I felt like I was getting strep throat after visiting your clinic. The explanation for getting braces was stupendous. 2nd visit Bathrooms were in better shape. We were prompt and you were prompt. The dental asst who set the braces was not professional or friendly. The front desk does not buzz the door quickly; a customer sitting comes To let people in!

Negative experience: Don’t take your child to Franklin Dental for no braces my baby had her braces for three years and have a big gap in her teeth because she need power change and they still haven’t did nothing about it. Soon as she walked out the door her Bracket came off. And they blamed it on us and had to pay 35 dollars to get them fix they are so unprofessional just don’t take your Baby there to get braces find somewhere else that’s all I can say.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment with this facility for my teen kids. They gave my kids at a slot for 4pm. I confirmed their appointments a week before their appointments was due with one of the facilities staff member. We arrived at the appointment on time was never greeted and to be told a two different lies that some called me and told me they didn’t see kids at that time. I ask one of the rude staff members why would staff member book this appointment and why no one stated that when I spoke to staff? She stated she don’t know why she proceeded to lie and say we miss the 15 minutes grace period we arrived 30 mines before our appointments. This place is old and outdated. Fluoride smell is so strong you can smell it standing outside the facility door before we walked in.

Negative experience: This is my LAST time coming here good god! How we get there on time and still had to wait an hour and ofc the work take 30-hour SMH! Im highly aggravated with this location. There were people who came after me able to come and and leave out, I was damn near the only one there after 5! People do have things to do! It should not have taken that long for her to go back!

Fantastic experience: My great grandson, has been coming to Franklin Dental before it was Franklin, in the past it was Kool Smile. He was seen in office today 9/15/25 no cavities.

Negative experience: Attitude and compassion go a long way. This place could use a few lessons in that. Not a warm place to be. They make the patient feel like a burden, and we’re ver dismissive. Maybe it was the wrong day, not sure but I definitely didn’t feel great about the visit.

Negative experience: I wish i can give 0 stars. My kids have been going to this dentist for at least 8 years. My child was seen on 2-23-26 for a cleaning was advise no cavities. My child now has a tooth ache. I called the emergency line on a friday they advised a dentist will callback and advise i can take him to the ER and I received no callback. Im telling them my child who dont cry and has a high pain tolerance has been crying and they schedule an appt then call the next day and states it was scheduled wrong and cancelled it and tell me they have no emergency appointments until Thursday and today is Thursday.

Fantastic experience: The service I experienced at the Decatur location was quick and their staff was very friendly! The dentist who handled my oral surgery was very professional and sympathetic regarding the discomfort I was experiencing. I would definitely return.
