Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at Timber Crest- I receive a warm welcome whenever I come into the clinic! His staff is top-notch. Jo Beth has been great over the years with every cleaning. Tiffany at the front desk makes sure to send me ample appointment reminders because I'm the customer who always forgets dates and times. You've got a happy client who has never enjoyed going to the dentist previously. That is, until I started coming to Timbercrest. I have no intention of switching dentists anytime soon.

Experiencia fantástica: Despite not being a dentist “specifically” for children, I have been bringing my 6 and 10 year old boys here since they began needing dental cleanings. The hygienists are wonderful with them and they always do a great job and they leave excited about their new toothbrushes and goodie box prizes!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely phenomenal. I've been dealing with a troubling tooth that had a very old filling crack my lower right first molar and fall out. My regular dentist first sent me to a local endodontist for a root canal and crown prep. Ended up visiting him twice with no success in numbing the tooth after every attempt, including intraosseous shots directly into my jaw bone. Looked around for iv sedation in the area so I didn't have to travel to Milwaukee or Madison and found Timbercrest. Dr. Farr did my consult and work with the help of a partnered anesthesiologist, successfully saving my tooth. The premium price of getting the anesthesiologist up here from his company was well worth the service. Big thanks to Dr Farr and Gram from GMC Anesthesia!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr John fixed a cavity for me today-Monday and while he was at it on the same side of my mouth, he offered to change my old filling-dental amalgam to a nice white filling. He’s always super professional and explains every before and while he is doing it so there is no surprises. The staff are all great and always smiling, that’s a good thing. Experiencia fantástica: I had a temporary crown. Dr. Farr made my experience pain free. If I had any discomfort at all (such as cold air on my other teeth) he quickly responded and eliminated the discomfort. He and the hygienist took some time to find the best match for my permanent crown. He explained what he was doing every step of the way easing any anxiety I would have had. I would recommend Timbercrest dental. Oh and I absolutely love the receptionist! So pleasant and upbeat!

Experiencia fantástica: 30 minute appointment to repair a filling.. anesthetic made the experience pain free and simple. No pain or side effects afterwards. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ethan was very calm and professional. I liked the way that he explained everything that he was doing.
Experiencia fantástica: After not having been to the dentist in some time, they made the experience very easy, comfortable and smooth. I had a lot of anxiety around the appointment, but it was quickly put to ease. I didn’t even have to mention my anxiousness as the staff must have noticed it slightly and inquired on their own. This was really appreciated and helpful. I definitely found a dentist I will plan on sticking with and recommend anyone who is anxious or just in general to give this location a chance. You won’t regret it.

Experiencia fantástica: Today I had a cleaning and a specific tooth looked at that’s been causing problems. I mean it when I say I dislike going to the dentist. Always have—I don’t like tooth pain. They’re always sore after a cleaning and I just don’t like going. I have some teeth problems that are sensitive during visits. Today I had Nicole who was very nice and listened to me when I explain my issues. She was also understanding of my sensitive teeth and really worked with me to not cause much discomfort during the cleaning. Overall, it was actually a pretty good cleaning and not too much pain for once. I appreciate the work Nicole did and for taking care of my teeth! And as always, the front desk staff and Dr. Luther are always nice and helpful!

Experiencia negativa: I would never recommend this office. The office staff is very unprofessional. During my wait for an appointment, the staff was openly "dissing" another patient and ridiculing them right in front of me. Not cool. They also insisted that I opened emails (with statements included) .. which was not true... I received two statements for work done in the (snail) mail (from services in November). I was going to pay it. Then got the most unprofessional letter in the mail. Before this letter, I had talked to them about the cost of completing my implant. They never indicated to me that I had an outstanding balance. I received a threatening letter only after 1 1/2 months of receiving a statement (via snail mail) I also never received any texts, nor phone calls/voicemails to this regard letting me know that I had a balance. Dr. Luther may be good. But the office staff is very unprofessional. I didn't think i even had a balance because I made payment at my last appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: A dental office so good I drive an hour and a half to visit. Tiffany is great receptionist with the perfect amount of sass. Mandy is a joy to talk to at billing specialist. Jo Beth and I have wonderful conversations every visit. Dr. Lutheran is fine... I can't say too much because my teeth and gums are solid, but he has excellent taste in staff.

Experiencia fantástica: This was probably the best dental experience I've ever had in my life. I recently lost my dental insurance and had a badly decayed tooth that had started to become infected. Within 30 minutes I was in the dentist's chair discussing options. Within an hour the dentist had the tooth out. There was ZERO pain the entire procedure. You couldn't even feel anything at all during the numbing shots and this was for a back molar. If you ever feel scared or embarrassed I HIGHY recommend this dentistry office. Experiencia negativa: I would give zero stars to this dental office if I could. Being newer to the fox valley, I chose this dentist out of the blue by its high ratings online. After only getting one or two treatments (which the cleanings were mediocre at best), I went in for another cleaning while 7 months pregnant since I had extra insurance benefits because of it. To start, I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time to get in which was typical here. Then, I told the hygienist that my gums are tender simply because of pregnancy so we agreed she would do a light and simple cleaning. Her and the dentist told me everything looked great, no concerns, and I could even wait until the following year to do X Rays if I wanted since my dental hygiene was so good (it had been a few years since I had X Rays so they were very outdated- but I was wanting to wait until I wasn’t pregnant anymore to get those done). Fast forward to two weeks later I get my statement in the mail and it shows I owe nearly $100 for my cleaning beyond what insurance covered. The details show that the charges were coded to gingivitis even though that was never mentioned during my visit. I wasn’t even told I needed to improve brushing, flossing or anything upon leaving. No mention of anything I should do better or differently. I called the office to dispute the bill seen as my insurance coverage should have been more than sufficient to cover this light cleaning but they do not cover gingivitis codes that imply “extra scaling” was present or needed like the bill stated. The receptionist told me flat out on the phone she “did not believe me” that the hygienist didn’t mention gingivitis to me because she was their “senior hygienist”. I said this feels like a scam for extra money to be honest because the cleaning I received wasn’t even up to par for a standard or regular cleaning, and it’s not fair to charge a patient for anything when it is not communicated to them that they apparently have a condition that should require some type of special protocols or different practices at home. She then told me that if I felt it was a scam for money they “don’t want patients like me” anyways. Nonetheless, I had my records sent to me immediately and I will never be going back nor would I ever recommend this dental office to anybody. This is a sad way to be treated by “professionals” who are perfectly willing to lose patients over 80 some dollars. Also sad that patients get reprimanded for simply wanting to dispute something and be fairly charged for services performed- let me tell you there is no negotiation with them! There are many better establishments in the area who genuinely care for their patients!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in for a crown. This appointment was for the prep and temporary crown. Dr. Luther showed years of practice and planning to complete all the steps required. I was impressed with how smooth things went. I got to say I have never seen the 3D scanner they used. They take a 3D scan of the area where the tooth is and then they scan the teeth above. The two 3D maps are placed on top of each other to show your bite. Just like that they can see any area that may need to be corrected. No more guess work. New technology, you got to love it!

Tiffany warmly greeted me, and I felt welcome immediately. The great experience continued when I met Dr. Luther and Lindsey, one of the dental assistants. Dr. Luther and Lindsey put me at ease, and kept the atmosphere very lighthearted. All staff members I encountered were pleasant, very efficient, and each seemed to have a great rapport with one another. Both Dr. Luther and Lindsey answered all of my questions. They explained everything they were going to do prior to commencing my procedure. As they began working, they continued to explain what they were doing at each step along the way. This helped put my mind at ease. The procedure went well, and it was essentially painless. I was even able to return for my follow up visit sooner than anticipated when I was notified of an earlier appointment. I highly recommend Dr. John Luther and Timbercrest Dental Center for all your dental care needs. They run a wonderful practice, which is reflected in their uniquely pleasant office environment. Their patient communication is also excellent. All the outstanding reviews you read are legitimate. You will no longer dread going to see the dentist when you make the switch to Dr. Luther’s practice!
