Experiencia negativa: If you only have $1500 allowance on your insurance a year through work be careful going to this place. They will use all of your allowance that you have and you’re stuck paying out-of-pocket. Prices are high I understand not anybody could do dentist work but come on now work with the people don’t just keep it business and be selfish. For example, I just took my wife in there last week because she needs a tooth extraction. They flossed her teeth and took a couple of x-rays. That cost almost $600 through her insurance now she’s left with $960 for the year. Another example went in there today to get the tooth extracted now they are saying her insurance will only cover half the extraction and we are left paying 300 out of pocket but last time they took $600 through the insurance. Sounds like they want half the cash now and don’t wanna wait for the insurance to pay the full amount.

Experiencia negativa: I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was very frustrating. My appointment was canceled without any notification, and I only found out after I arrived. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional when I asked about the situation. No apology was offered, and no effort was made to help me reschedule my appointment. I understand that scheduling issues can happen, but clear communication and respectful customer service are essential. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope management takes steps to improve communication and customer service so other patients do not have a similar experience.

Experiencia fantástica: This office was soooo amazing!!! Nothing like what I’ve been used to! The staff was so kind from the moment I walked in. It smelled really good in there too! It was clean , the women were friendly and patient at the front desk. Dr. Ako Boatemaa was awesome!!! Very patient with me and informative. Really took her time to come up with the best treatment plan for me! I’m excited to go back and be in her care for the perfect smile! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Went in for a cleaning and a check up the staff at the front desk were very friendly, the Doctor was very professional at explaining the procedure I was going to be getting done in the future. I definitely recommend Midwest Family Dental for any teeth cleaning or procedure.

Experiencia negativa: My mom had to go in for her appointment for her extraction. And when I checked up on her a few hours after her extraction, she had said she was in pain and that the doctor didn't prescribe her antibiotic ( usually good after extraction so THEY WONT CATCH INFECTION EVEN IF THEY DONT HAVE ONE A THAT MOMENT ) so I called the office asking if the can please send to her nearest pharmacy. The receptionist confirmed pharmacy. Next day my mom goes to her pharmacy and pharmacy stated there was nothing on her name. Mind you my mom was in pain and her cheek was swollen, of course as usual its normal. However I did call the dental office again , this new receptionist said bc of HIPPA she cannot release information again I understand that. I was not asking for information simply asking if doctor can pls send my mom her antibiotics and pain medication. Then the girl was obviously upset about the situation and as I was talking and explaining my moms pain she put me on hold. Now that made me upset bc dental offices should be there to help you rather than putting you down. We go to them bc they are the experts. Manager picked up stating the doctor does not provide prescriptions only sometimes. I then said then why did you guys confirm my moms pharmacy and then proceed to tell me otherwise. Then realized they didn't even put my mom STITCHES !!! Nor did she have a FOLLOW Up APPT !!!! RECEPTIONIST WERE VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND REASON WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! THEY MADE US FEEEL as if we were dumb and wrong for asking about my moms situation. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I wish my mom for her age had gotten a better experience this is why one is even scared to go to a dentist

We have been coming for the past 3 years, and at first my son was a bit scared, and we have had treatment done, and with every child it's hard, but all I can say is that they really are so nice and amazing. My son absolutely loves all the girls that have helped over the past years with his xrays, and during procedures, and the I love that the Dr. is very detailed straightforward and to the point. Really cares and always delivers what is the best next step. ♡ so happy ♡

Experiencia negativa: if I could I would leave no stars, my mom went there and they ended up billing insurance for a cleaning that she never got, and extra charged her 300 for a filling claiming insurance didn't cover (which she had 80% coverage for restorative work with a $50 ded) they kept her in the chair for more than two hours claiming they were just doing one filling. Thanks to this experience my mom hesitates going to dentist now, as a dental hygienist my self this upsets me very much people should not be taken advantage of like this specially your elders.

So, then I went in they looked at me figured out what the problem was and then gave me the necessary medication for the swelling and worked on it ASAP. 10/10 ! Changed my life for the better. The atmosphere is very relaxing and calm. Dr. Ahmed is pretty amazing too chatting with you about what she’s doing and always making sure you are ok. Over all we really love them.
