Beachside Dental, Dean Saiki DDS

Experiencia positiva: We have been going to the dental office for a few years now. Services here have been all good plan on staying with this office as long as we can After coming to this office found that Dr Saiki and our old dentist that we liked, Dr Dern ( retired) that are professional friends Still going here have no plans on changing unless we move away but we would still see if we could come back for services for all personnel are good and that is the main reason we return Still good place December 02, 2025 - Still good place with good peoples 04/09/2026 still a fine place dental services

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at Beachside Dental is wonderful! I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Dr Saiki is not only a great dentist, but also friendly and easy to talk to. Dental Hygienist, Ophelia, is very competent and also very friendly. I will never go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki and his staff at Beachside dental are great! They are professional, knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. I have referred Dr. Saiki to many of my friends because he is a great dentist that is honest and has integrity!

Experiencia fantástica: The whole team at Beachside dental are fantastic! I know I’m getting the best treatment possible. I trust Dr. Saiki and team to take care of me. Thank you and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: As always, the staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They had a prior patient running late, and asked if I could delay my appointment by a half hour, which I was able to do. Most medical offices would have just made me wait longer. Cleaning was thorough but quick, and pain-free. Ezri does a great job.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki and his staff are amazing and really know how to provide customer service. We have been seeing Dr. Saiki for over 35 years. Our two daughters drive an hour to see him. He provides painless dentistry and never recommends an unnecessary procedure. I recently had a crown put on for a tooth we had been watching for over 10 years. The crown was put on in about 90 minutes with absolutely no pain. I had a fear of dentists but not anymore. The whole staff …Ophelia, Blanca, MacKenzie, Veronica and Dr. Saiki are so kind and caring. I highly recommend Beachside Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Great job Thanks for Service

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly and attentive staff. I always experience great service and communication. Ophelia is a gem and Sr. Saiki is the best! I would definitely recommend this business to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki and his team helped me out of a difficult situation. I had a broken crown, and because Dr. Saiki has the latest in technology and is an expert, he was able to mill a new crown and replace it in one day. Fantastic service from a great dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Always friendly and welcoming. Service is superb. Dentist is very thorough. Hygienist is gentle and detailed.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Dr. Saiki and Beachside Dental for the first time today. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr Saiki was thorough and conservative; he did not suggest unnecessary procedures but did spend time educating me about what they see and do not see in the x-rays. He explained his decisions and recommendations clearly. I was left feeling very confident and well cared for. It's 6 months later and I was back today for my next visit. Great decision finding Beachside Dental. My dental hygienist is lovely and competent and the vibe of the place is relaxed and friendly. I recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a pleasure. Everyone is courteous, professional and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: I was able to schedule appointments for my elderly dad and myself at the same time. The people are nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki is the best dentist I’ve ever had by far. His bedside manner is tremendous. He explains everything slowly and where you can understand it, so for me, he’s the only dentist I’ll go to.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki and staff are wonderful. So kind, gentle and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I always look forward to seeing Dr. Saiki and staff. Every one is kind, considerate, and very supportive with me. Just under 40 years, I have been their client, and I have never been mistreated or misled in any way. They have gone that extra mile to help meet my needs, including implants. Dr. Saiki and staff do magnificent work!

Experiencia fantástica: Saiki has to be hands down the best dentist of all time

Experiencia fantástica: I can honestly say this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Saiki, his wife Blanca, and their amazing staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment I walked in. Everyone in the office was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. I especially appreciated how Dr. Saiki took the time to educate me and thoroughly explain the entire process, which made me feel informed and at ease every step of the way. The whole experience was completely painless, and the office itself was very clean, organized, and professional. You can truly tell they care about their patients and take pride in what they do. I highly recommend Dr. Saiki and his team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent dentist and crew. Ever since my Birdrock dentist retired 10 years ago, I have been looking for a trustworthy, conservative, meticulous dentist; I’ve finally found that in Dr. Saiki.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Dr. Saiki and his wonderful team for over 20 years. Ophelia is amazing and my 4 year old had the best first experience with a teeth cleaning. They are always patient and kind.

Experiencia fantástica: Always taking Great care of my teeth. The team makes me feel so comfortable and explains every step of the process clearly. Thank you so much!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki and his staff treat you like family even if you only see them a few times a year. They have provided excellent care to my wife and her family for over 30 years since she was a child, and now for me and my kids since moving back to the area. Originally when returning from the Midwest I chose a dentist closer to home in Carlsbad and was talked into replacing some old fillings. Huge mistake!! There were complications for months to come that were not resolved by multiple return visits. My wife checked in with Dr. Saiki’s office to see if they were accepting patients although it is a little bit further of a drive for us. Dr. Saiki helped fix my issue at the time and has since maintained a mindset that we don’t force any dental work unless absolutely called for. I feel completely taken care of and never worried that I’ll be suggested to do anything extra to try to make more money me. From the front desk ladies, to the dental technicians and hygienists, to Dr. Saiki himself, you’ll always be treated like family and most importantly provided amazing dental care. I’d give six stars if I could!

Experiencia fantástica: Have been with Dr. Saiki and his amazing team for 20+ years….best crew ever! Dr. Saiki is always up to date using the best of new technologies. He and his crew are very thorough and the professionalism is of the highest level. We live in Orange County, but are more than happy to make the drive to Oceanside to stay with this wonderful team.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was very kind and professional. Dr. Saiki took the time to explain things today. I have another appointment scheduled. I would highly recommend this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki, did it again! He fixed my broken tooth/filling with a crown all in one day. He did an amazing job. We keep coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to Beach side dental since I was a child, probably as young as 5. I love it here and everyone is so friendly. I’ve been going to Stephanie for a couple years now and she is amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: I appreciate the kindness everyone in the office shows for the patients. Dr. Saiki is very trustworthy and honest. That means a lot to me. The dental hygienist does a super job and is very efficient.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Saiki and his team are amazing! They are super friendly, efficient and helpful. My tooth broke and Dr Saiki was kind enough to get me in immediately, working through his lunchtime. It’s been a long time since my last novocain shot and I was dreading it. Dr Saiki made me feel comfortable and except for the taste, I didn’t even know I was getting the shot! Amazing and much appreciated!

Experiencia fantástica: If we must go to the dentist, Beach Dental is the best place to go! My dental hygienist Ophelia is the best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've only lived in the Oceanside area for a year and was concerned if I would find great service that I had from my dentist back in Chicago, Dr Saiki and his team put all my worries to rest. My last two visits have great and time efficient. They were clear on what options I could take if I wanted to address my crowding on the bottom row of my front teeth but also honest that its not a health concern and don't have to pay to correct if I don't want to. I really appreciate this no push and transparent attitude.

Experiencia fantástica: Beachside Dental has been our families Dental practice since we came to San Diego over 25 years ago. Dr Saiki and his staff are super friendly always on time and do wonderful work. I cannot recommend Beachside Dental more highly..

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at Dr. Saiki's office is very nice and caring and accommodating to their patients needs. Dr. Saiki is a great dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Saiki and his team was awesome! I came in to get my implant identified because the abutment broke off. I got the implant in 2007 in the Bay Area. Anyways, he worked tirelessly to identify the implant, explaining everything he was doing as we went along. He identified it, had the parts he needed and created a plan to fix it with a new abutment and crown. I am very pleased with his service.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki’s office provided excellent service during my visit yesterday.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki is practical and straightforward. He looks at dental care with only you, the patient, in mind. His goal is to make sure you receive the best care, and he DOES NOT try to upsell you. Very refreshing.

Experiencia fantástica: As always, since I had started my dental treatments at dr Sakís’s office, their professionalism and kindness are number one. Thank you very much!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Saiki is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had! I’ve been to five dentists in the last couple of years, and they were all terrible. I was so discouraged that I stopped going for routine care altogether. (Sadly.) I always waited until something broke or was in excruciating pain to go to the dentist. Well, after the last crown went wrong, a family friend recommended Dr. Saiki. I’m so glad I did! I had more than five cavities, but less than ten. (I love candy.) I also needed an extraction from a previous dentist who had failed. In two visits, Dr. Saiki fixed everything. The procedures were both quite painless, and I was back to work and family duties the same day! I completed all the work on one side in one visit and the other side in another visit, along with a deep cleaning. The efficiency of their staff is incredible. They have every procedure down to a science, and the dental assistants are phenomenal. They’re not overbearing or pushy; they’re just the perfect amount of attention. The insurance and scheduling gal is also on top of things and knows everything to the dollar. She goes above and beyond to get you all your benefits, even rollover funds that I never knew were possible! Lastly, Blanca, the main office receptionist, is genuine and incredibly caring. Daisy and Veronica are the best dental assistants too. Everyone at Dr. Saiki’s office is top-notch. The hygienist is sweet, friendly, and super gentle. 10 out of 10!!!! So grateful to find them!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great as usual! This visit was particularly fun as my daughter had a baby tooth ready to come out. There was no pressure or fear. I have been seeing Dr. Saiki since I was a child and am so delighted to be able to now bring my children to his dental office to ensure their teeth are strong and healthy.

Experiencia fantástica: Very careful hygienist, nurse and friendly dentist and staff.

Thank you for a GREAT experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is so very nice in this office. They try to accommodate you in any way possible. They are all gentle and explain everything they are doing. I have not had any pain from anything I have had done there, and I had implant which will be completed on Friday. I am very very pleased with everyone in this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service, friendly staff! Dr. Saiki, as always was thorough in explaining the process. He quickly and efficiently reworked my tooth, that had lost an old crown, scanned, milled and fitted a new crown in one simple sitting.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Saiki and his staff, Blanca, Makenzie & Shannon are FANTASTIC!!! I'm so glad I made the change in my insurance so we all could go to him because a number of friends raved about their experience. They are not kidding. Now, my family actually looks forward to their dentist visits and teeth cleaning. Thank you all for going above and beyond in customer service!

Experiencia fantástica: Always a great and professional service. Thank you Dr Saiki and stuff

Experiencia fantástica: Have been with Dr.Saiki and his wonderful team for over 12 years. Thank you Shannon for wonderful teeth cleaning and gum treatment

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have been seeing Dr. Dean Saiki and the staff at Beachside Dental for years. I split my time between the North West and San Diego. Absolutely the best. Now retired and no longer in Carlsbad, I still make the drive up to North country. It’s worth it. Im undergoing a dental implant and almost done. Flawless. His staff is rock solid, helpful, knowledgeable, and joyful to be around. Dr. Saiki is just so humorous and some one I would enjoy playing golf with.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Saiki has been our family dentist for over 30 years and will remain as long as I’m on this earth. There is no finer practice anywhere. It’s a true family practice with a very professional and friendly staff.

Experiencia fantástica: The experience of the Dentist and staff is outstanding and my outcome was successful! I recommend this practice to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Beachside Dental and Dr Saiki and his staff are the absolute best dental office hands down. Strongly recommend Beachside Dental

Experiencia fantástica: Had to get a tooth extracted asap, they were able to accommodate me. The procedure went well and the dentist was very gentle. His whole team is great! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I began seeing Dr. Saiki 12-15 years ago. A new job unfortunately also meant new insurance for us. What a pain!!! Not to mention & worst of all, it prevented us from remaining as patients of Dr Saiki’s office!!! However, it is official as of a month ago…WE are back! What we appreciate most, outside of the obvious knowledge, experience and skill of Dr Saiki and his team, is the friendly vibe and “bedside manner” which makes building a trusting/authentic relationship so easy. Additionally, his office has an incredible network of supportive professionals to include hygienists Ofelia, Stephanie, and the “new” lady (sorry for not recalling name) who worked with me yesterday (she’s been there almost two years, but I’ve been gone longer), who have been with the office for years, as well as the front office staff, who never are without a big smile, is unmatched! I am glad to be back!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The outstanding service provided by Dr. Saiki and his team merits acknowledgement. Their friendly and accommodating nature makes a potentially stressful experience more bearable, as they take the time to explain procedures and prioritize patient comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Saiki and his team.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Saiki is great. A cracked tooth causing pain that day he capped the tooth working through his lunch hour to help me. Truly concerned about your best interest.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Dentist! Can make crowns onsite while you wait. Always on time. Hygienists and admin are great also

Experiencia fantástica: Hi, From the moment I stepped into Dr Saiki’s dental office, I knew I was home. The entire staff were friendly and knowledgeable; each in their knowledge of expertise. Plus mom, no cavities!

Experiencia fantástica: I found Dr. Saiki and the Beachside Dental staff approximately 3 years ago. What an amazing staff! Dr. Saiki has a lot of experience as a dentist, he’s probably seen it all. I really trust his opinion which, in many cases, he believes less is more. He likes to help you preserve your real teeth as long as possible and he takes the time to talk to you about it. Stephanie, the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth, does incredible work. I have told her it’s like a deep tissue massage for my teeth and gums. My teeth feel very clean afterwards. Finally, the office staff is top notch, friendly, helpful with insurance and billing questions, and organized. I’m grateful I found them!

Experiencia fantástica: My service is always top notch every time I have an appointment with Dr. Saiki Dental Clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: Cleanings with Stephanie are a breeze. She is extremely gentle and very thorough. I no longer dread going to the dentist!
