Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with EviDent Family Dentistry. The day before, I realized I schedule another doctors appointment at 9:30. My dental appointment was 8 o’clock and I was worried I wouldn’t make it out in time. I called the office to see if I can reschedule and they were so understanding. Instead of rescheduling, they pushed it up to 7:45 and I managed to get out at 8:25. The whole time I was there, they were cautious of time and they were determined to get me out for my next doctors appointment. I appreciate their consideration of time, but also making sure my teeth were fully cleaned and examined. The dental technician was very personable and friendly. I could tell the moment I walked in the whole office was inclusive to everybody that walks through the door. The office was beautifully decorated to match the historical building and it had a very calm setting as well. The team did a great job of cleaning my teeth and examining my teeth as well. Highly recommended. And it’s a local business. It’s not owned by corporation. For the first time, I’m actually looking forward to my next dental appointment!

Experiencia fantástica: Listen. I am TERRIFIED of dentists. I haven’t been since I was 17 and I am 27 now. I broke a tooth and it was getting annoying so I decided to come in. I got a crown along with a filling. Dr Garland along with every single member of staff that I met in that office today made me feel not only welcome, but well informed. They answered every question without missing a beat and never once seemed annoyed when I asked them to repeat themselves. I almost fell asleep in the chair even! I will be coming back here for all my dental needs and I will recommend this place to everyone that I know. The staff at EviDent is SO lovely—everyone is warm and welcoming. They help you understand what is going on and will work with you to come up with a plan that fits your needs and abilities. I've only been here a couple of times, for a consultation and help scheduling wisdom teeth removal, and again for a chipped tooth and cleaning. They truly have your best interest in mind instead of focusing on making money (like some other dentists). They are very kind, patient, and caring with patients who are anxious and/or have a lot of questions. They don’t make you pay anything until after the insurance has gone through. Therefore, your money stays in your pocket longer instead of having to pay the full amount upfront and then being reimbursed by insurance. They are like a family there, and they make each and every one of their patients feel like family too. I cannot recommend them enough! ❤️

I love that they've given her the room she needs. Dr. Garland was knowledgeable and provided extra info whenever I asked for clarification. He was gentle and checked with me often to make sure I was doing OK. I am truly excited he was completely on board with my "less is more" philosophy when it comes to dental work. Experiencia fantástica: I didn’t go to the dentist much/ at all when growing up so I had a lot of hesitation going but knew I needed to. I immediately felt comfortable from being greeted when I walked in, to sitting in the chair and talking to the woman that took my X-rays and asked me about my medical history. I really appreciate that through every step of the way they checked in to make sure I was feeling alright and explained what they were doing and next steps. I also respect that they don’t pressure you into getting anything done but do explain the importance of it and what it entails. They never make me feel bad for falling off the dental wagon when times are tough! If you haven’t switched to this place already, DO IT! Had never been here before, but when i broke my back molar i was super stressed and called them up. They told me to pop by and even pushed their lunch to make sure i was taken care of! The staff was so lovely and kind, and the Dentist even sat with me and chatted. If you have any anxiety with dentists, this office will make sure you always feel comfortable and safe. I don't think i could go anywhere else after this great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I have extreme dental anxiety and PTSD, and hadn't been to the dentist in 5+ years. I came to Dr. Larson for a cleaning and checkup and was very impressed. The dentist and hygienist were very compassionate and understanding. I had very bad staining all over and they were able to have my teeth looking good as new and better than I thought was possible. I need some fillings done but they explained every step of the way talking through xrays and high res photos. I didn't feel pressured to agree to unnecessary work. I never thought I could feel comfortable going to the dentist again, so I highly reccomend coming here to see Dr Larson, Dr Garland, and the wonderful staff.

He truly takes his time to explain procedures and why they are necessary to our teenage son and he doesn't even mind going to the dentist anymore since we moved to New Albany and found Dr. Larsen. My wife agrees that he has an outstanding bedside manner and he's simply the best at what he does. The assistants are all very sweet and professional. Experiencia fantástica: EviDent is great. I'd recommend to anyone. Thats the short review. For those that want the full scoop: First, a little back story. I am 34. I hadn't been to the dentist in... over 10 years. Unfortunately I had a pretty traumatic experience when I was 15 by a root canal/crown/post procedure, done by a very old-school, small town dentist. All on the same tooth. It was terrible and I was in pain for many weeks after. Fast-forward to now. I have maybe been to a dentist 3 times since the fore-mentioned experience, only going when necessary. On a random Saturday night, I started having some pretty bad pain... on THAT tooth. I hit it with a salt water rinse and some Orajel, and didn't think much of it. I woke up with the worst toothache I have ever experienced. On a Sunday.... with no dental insurance. I had one choice. Emergency Room. I had an MRI that confirmed some infection in the tooth. The on-call Dr gave me a week script of antibiotics and told me to get in to a dentist ASAP. Monday morning my wife and I scrambled to find someone that could get me in. Lots of options for days or weeks out, but not that same day. We called EviDent and Allison immediately picked up. She heard me out and told me to give her 15 min to see if Dr. Lawson could get me in. She called me back in 5 min, and told me to come in as soon as I could get there. Upon arrival, Allison was quick, but thorough, in getting back to the chair. She also was upfront and honest before we got too far about any charges. She began giving x rays and within 15 minutes Dr. Lawson had looked at them and joined us. I had an abscess the size of a dime on my jaw. Dr. Lawson gave me another quick, but thorough run down of treatment to get the infection down, and a plan of action. Cheap route: pull the tooth and likely never deal with the issues again. Expensive route: TRY to repair it, and hope for the best. Call me cheap! I scheduled to come back a little over a week later to meet with Dr. Garland for the extraction. Allison told me to call if any pain or swelling worsened between now and then. I went in and had the extraction on the scheduled day. Dr. Garland heard me out about my terrible experience as a kid. Not to say he dismissed it, but he just honestly made it not a big deal! He has an odd confidence that immediately gives a very professional and experienced impression. He spoke of his own experiences with dental procedures, and assured me he would be quick and talk me through it. The procedure was pretty flawless. Absolutely no pain, outside of the initial novacaine. The whole surgery was less than 45 min. They sent me home with great instructions, and even let my weirdo wife take a picture of the tooth! I am 3 days post surgery and have minimal pain or even discomfort. I havent needed Ibuprofen for the last day and a half. I received a call yesterday from Allison: just checking up! I am healing well, and do not expect any complications. These people turned a scared 34 year old man into someone that, dare I say, enjoyed going to the dentist! I will definitely go back, and would imagine they would be great with kiddos too. Great job EviDent team! The rest of the medical field could learn something from you all! Thank you!

I cannot put into words, how Great they are. They are the real deal. What you see is what you get. From many years ago, until today. They are still the same wonderful caring people, who treat you like family, that they’ve always been. I would recommend anyone needing a Dentist to go there. Even if it’s just for routine cleanings, they give you the same time and attention they would to someone who is getting more In depth care. You’re not just a number to them. You are a person, not just a patient. God has blessed me twice, by putting them in my life years ago when I really needed them, and now many years later.

They’re very up-to-date with dental practices, and I loved how they gave me simple, practical advice to help with my TMJ. Dr. Garland was my dentist for several years at another location and I’m happy to have found him again.

Experiencia fantástica: My son was so nervous to have his first cavity filled however Dr. Larson was WONDERFUL! We walked into the office with my son in tears and left smiling and laughing. Dr. Larson sat down (on the floor) next to my son and talked with him, easing his fears and letting him guide the pace of the appointment. Riley was so patient and calming. What could have easily gone off the rails was a truly positive experience.

This is a close knit group that works well together. I was treated by Dr Garland and Allison assisted him. Had three consecutive visits for the immediate treatments I required. I was comfortable, pain-free and treated with consideration, honesty and warmth. They use updated equipment as well. Without a doubt the best dental experience I've ever had.

I had been nervous about coming to the dentist - It had been a while and I had some work to be done. The Evident team put me at ease. They are very gentle and always checking in - making things as painless as possible. I also felt like Dr. Larson has been great at telling me all my options and helping me decide which treatments will work best for me. Another thing I have appreciated is I’ve never felt pressured or like they recommended treatments that aren’t needed. I don’t feel like I’m getting upsold every time I am there. They have been wonderful in dealing with all the office work as well. It’s easy to get in, insurance and billing all very smooth and I never am waiting long to be seen. While I haven’t seen Dr. Garland for services he made it a point to come meet me and welcome me to the practice - he seems very nice and knowledgeable as well. I feel lucky to have found this office! It’s truly a gem. Each of the team members show you they care and work to make your experience at the dentist a good one. Highly recommend Evident!

Having not gone to a dentist in almost 2 decades you could imagine my trepidation, but everyone there was incredibly friendly with zero kind of judgement or pushiness for unnecessary work. The team was so efficient I was even able to take care of a couple cavities same day without throwing my schedule out of wack!
