Experiencia negativa: Dr. Coleman's office performed a cleaning. At no time during the procedure was I informed that a periodontal maintenance would be performed and I would be responsible for $200+ versus $0 that would have been covered with a standard cleaning. I called my insurance company twice. I was told that in many cases basic cleanings are performed for periodontal patients. I paid over $200 out of pocket for the cleaning and Dr. Coleman's office is continuing to send me invoices for an additional $100. When discussing this w/ the billing staff, little did I know that Dr. Coleman was eavesdropping my call w her staff. This is not a problem, but certainly, she could have made her presence on the call known much earlier in the conversation. When I stated that I should have been informed of the excessive bill, Dr. Coleman told me it's not her job to inform me of my insurance coverage. I get that. However, if her practice is going to perform an expensive procedure that is not covered, it is their responsibility to inform me of the excessive charges. IF you are considering her as your dentist or if you are already a patient, read up on your coverage and find out exactly what procedures will be performed so you don't wind up with a $350 financial responsibility for a routine procedure. Or better yet, go elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: They use temporary dental hygienist’s. Hygienist’s are licensed professionals, but as we all know, chair side manor, personality and skill can differ greatly from one professional to another. I had a gut feeling months ago that I should go back to my former dental practice that has a dedicated in house hygienist. I know now I should have trusted my gut as I am now returning to my former dental office.

Dr. Coleman is skilled and thoughtful and that goes for her staff fro the front desk to the hygienists and assistants. They all love their jobs snd genuinely care for their patients.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist took over a long time practice and hiked the prices. She also recently stopped taking Delta Dental, which is a very common plan. She fired all the long time staff too. She bought a decades long practice with a built in loyal customer base and wrecked it gouge patients. Oh, she hired or brought with her gossipy staff. The contrast couldn't be starker. Luckily we found a better dentist nearby.

Experiencia negativa: No! No! Stay away! The new staff openly disparaged the previous dentist to my face without considering I was a patient there for over 20 years! At the very minimum, what a thoughtless business practice to alienate loyal clientele willing to give you a chance. Professionally, it was borderline slander. Dr. Hayes has retired and his reputation remains intact but a practicing dentist could probably take them to court. Super unprofessional! Also, they took a TON of X-rays for a full mouth series but you only need that many every 3 to 5 years and they told me you need them yearly. Only certain ones need to be done annually. I had a full set taken overseas because I travel for work for extended periods but they never bothered to discuss my history or anything with me, even though it was their first time seeing me. When the tech began I assumed she was going to do a few - not 20 or so. Unfamiliarity with established patients and their history is the norm there now. Every single hygienist is gone and they were great! Now all they have is a traveling temp or something. They also got rid of the office staff who were always so helpful with appointments and billing. The character of the practice takes its cue from the doctor and she is unimpressive. She barely consulted with me and dismissed my concern out of hand. Frankly, she didn't know what heck she was talking about! A super experienced technician had explained it to me in great detail several years ago when I got an implant. Another reviewer mentioned he got his teeth cleaned and Dr. Coleman didn't even bother to stay and do the usual check and consult. Dr. Hayes would have NEVER done that. I know that patient and he was also a long time client. I doubt he goes there anymore. Lastly, they upped their fees as much as TRIPLE and never once sent out an email or notice of a new fee schedule nor posted a notice in the office or online. We only found out when my husband got smacked with an outrageous bill for rescheduling his appointment after an emergency. He travels for work as well and also saw Dr. Hayes for decades. They always accommodated his variable work schedule. But since they fired the office staff, no one there has any sense of relationship with the patients. We dropped this practice immediately with only two visits after 25 years!

Experiencia negativa: I am the “pre-google” patient (Paul Hayes, DDS) he probably hoped would never write a review. Here is the long awaited 20 year plus review. What this guy did to my front teeth was reprehensible. He placed four veneers and was one millimeter off. He MISSED the mid line. If you are another dentist you understand the consequences of this mistake. For those of you who don’t understand it means that the front teeth are crooked. What he did to me was detrimental physically and emotionally. I even offered to pay him to fix his mistake but he just stared out the window gazing at the parking lot like I didn’t exist. I do indeed exist Paul and you are getting exactly what you deserve. This will cost me double now to fix and that is even if it can be fixed. They may have to be removed. I am 60 years old now and one of my two regrets is not suing you and stripping you of your license to practice dentistry long ago. You won’t respond because what could you possibly say? You will reap what you have sown. God bless you Paul Hayes *take note of his weak response….I am not under “treatment” nor do I have a “bill” he could very easily respond This is his way of not accepting responsibility for his actions.

When I took my appointment no one explained the process and that I mandatory had to do x ray which make me have reflex. If that was better explained on my booking call, I would have got to another place which now I can’t because the crazy american insurance system. The lady who did my x ray was nice and tried her best.

Last week I had my teeth cleaned and the hygienist was pleasant and listened to my concern. I prefer she clean my teeth with the dental tools instead of the water floss machine. She was gentle and did a very good job. I have been going to their office for a long time, and I am pleased with the women at the front office as they greet you when you come in and if you have any questions or concerns, they listen. I'm looking forward to getting to know Dr. Coleman at my next visit.

Experiencia negativa: I have never had a worse experience. I felt invisible as Dr. Coleman and her assistant worked on me and gossiped with each other. The incompetence was amazing. The temporary cap was not fitting despite numerous tries. That temp fell off and broke 2 days later. Then the permanent cap was off and I was in pain and had difficulty talking. I went for a second opinion and they said I needed a whole new cap. I called Dr. Coleman's office for a refund that THEY AGREED TO PAY. I still after over 6 months have not received that payment. I would NEVER recommend this place.

She was very professional, caring, and even funny cracking jokes to ease my mind while explaining each tool she was going to use to help me stay calm. For the first time, I truly felt well taken care of and relaxed in the chair. Her assistant, Jud-Lee, was also wonderful very knowledgeable and able to answer most of my questions before I was even seen by the doctor. Together, they made my visit smooth and reassuring. They also bill insurance before the project is over. Even if the insurance states it should be billed when all work is complete. Not the same quality or ethics.

I will not be going to see Dr. Hayes because of the way I was treated. Heather Should Have Been Fired over 1 year ago Heather is a detriment to Dr. Hayes practice Lindsay also a receptionist there said would call me back never did.
